Update: A few updates have been made to the game with this update. Hovering ghosts from Halloween are now animated. And Peter should be able to drop Censor Bars, for Intimate Apparel Peter, once again.

American Dad Phase 3 has hit our Tiny Quahogs! And it looks like Francine is joining the party!
You will need to complete “A Likely Story Part 6” in order to see the new Phase 3 items of the American Day Event. Stan should have a ! over his head, so tap on him to get things started with “You Are Being Watched”.
UPDATE TO THE AMERICAN DAD EVENT: TinyCo has done something really awesome, the Smith Family American Dad Event Characters now will stay around AFTER the Event to be unlocked (Stan, Steve, Hayley, Francine). That means as long as you have them started in your town (Bubbles above their head, items collections started, quest to point of collecting for them) then you have AS LONG AS YOU WANT to unlock them. WOOHOO!! So no worries about rarity of items or time spent. Take your time to relax and enjoy what TinyCo has brought into the game for you.
So feel free to turn your attention to Intimate Apparel Peter as he is Limited Time. 🙂

Buildings:
CIA Headquarters- $2,000. 8hr build time. Earns $50, 30xp/10hrs
C.I.A Mobile Lab- $1,800. 12hr build time. Earns $30, 20xp/4hrs
Hazmat Tent- $500. 6hr build time. Earns $80, 55xp/20hrs.
Fun ‘N Gun Shooting Range- $5,000. 20hr build time. Earns $140, 90xp/16hrs.
Muffins by Mrs. Smith- 75 Clams. Instant Build. Earns $60, 40xp/10hrs. Always drops Muffins for Francine.
Decorations:
White Picket Fence- $250/ea section.
Sex Rose Bush- $1,000.
Security Threat Meter- 25 Clams.
Pinky the Missing Linky- 100 Clams. (not animated. LARGE in height)
Bobby the Bullet- 50 Clams. (not animated)

These buildings are already part of Quahog, so if you have them already they’ll now drop items for Francine. If you don’t have them you can now purchase them for clams.

Hi-Yah’s Dojo- 150 Clams. Earns $40, 25xp/6hrs. Always drops For Sale Signs.

Once you place the car you’ll find Francine. Of course to unlock her you’ll need to…you guessed it..collect STUFF. Here’s what you’ll need:

Okay… Love this game, love this site and I appreciate all the time you put into providing us with the latest info, but it really grinds my gears that a plethora of new items is spilling out of TinyCo (and with xmas event looming just over the horizon) and yet I have ZERO land to put any of these items. I have made a nice, organized and well thought out Quahog but it is now to the point where I am removing money making buildings to make room for new buildings that are required for events to progress (CIA Headquarters, as an example). I have trimmed all the fat by removing all my “fun” decorations from Halloween and King Butt and have had to remove many decorations, but now its getting to the point of frustration. I don’t know about other gamers, but I’m certainly not going to shell out clams for items that I dont even have room for. I know you provided a “land” issue update previously. Any new word on when we can expect a significant land addition? I don’t know how I can keep up. I certainly am not going to nuke my town that I have put so much time into just to accommodate making more room when I feel this should be done at a higher level.

What happened? I went to Bonnie to start Bake Sales for muffins. Then I see it takes 10 hours!?! It was 1 minute. That’s 60000% of what it was.

I like the fences so i decided to stock up. I bought about 50 of them and put them in inventory and decided I wanted more but I had to place all the ones i just bought again before I could buy new ones grr. So they are all in inventory and I have 117 which is a wierd random number and becausevof my ocd I want 3 more to make it an even 120 but mow if b I want that I havecto place them all out again just to buy 3 more grrrrrrrr.

I LOVE that they’re reusing buildings and getting some premium characters in on the action…but I can’t forgive the fact that Bryan Cranston’s Baking Bad task doesn’t earn muffins. SUCH a missed opportunity!

Not using my clams for him, so I can’t say for sure (Except that in the store it says “animated” on him) but Bobby the Bullet is animated, again according to the game. Or again is supposed to be.

I have one Megaphone to go to get Hayley, which I should get in the morning. I can then focus on Francine, Peter and Tom. Peter doesn’t look to hard to complete with buildings getting rid of the harder items, but Francine looks like its going to be a pain making me dread Roger. Tom I can do casual with all the characters not assigned tasks. I could also unlock Adam West, but that would be too much.
On a side note Dish has restored Cartoon Network and other Turner owned channel, so I can now get my late night Family Guy/American Dad/Cleveland Show fix. That was 2 weeks of hell.

Started the Cia build but if I try to clear any new land it always prompts me clam finish the cia building. Is this happening to anyone else still with space on the map?

I’m stoked about the character extension. Francine’s going to take a while due to the lengthy tasks (and I think those For Sale signs are going to turn into Anime Peter’s eyeballs) plus Rocky Horror Peter (it sounds more fun than intimate apparel Peter) is limited to just this weekend (6 more heels, 6 more bars, and waiting to collect from S&M&More).

Awesome! I want Francine’s muffins (Oops, did I say that out loud?). This game is trouncing the competition (d’oh!). There are so many characters (including voices), costumes and buildings; Now, they even added a picket fence (Ha ha). That’s nice that they extended the availability of these AD folks. As far as land, I’ve been storing most of the event/seasonal items in both games and the baseball field, swimming pool or amusement parks free up a lot of room, too. Keep up the great posts and thanks for all the top notch reporting!

We desperately desparately desparately need new space! I know we will be getting that corner near Asiantown soon, but I can’t wait for TinyCo to give us some more big chunks. I want to build an entire area with all the American Dad stuff, and also place the toy factory and other buildings from the Halloween event. I’ve even had to break my town and stash buildings and stuff to make room for new ones.. I cant wait!! I miss designing new areas 😦

I am really impressed with Tinyco’s coordination of this event & the limited weekend one. Neither peter nor Herbert are required to get Francine & Bruce’s task is dual drop making the censor bars entirely achievable while working toward Francine. Seamus can carry the rest of the shoe load single-handedly (or is that single-peggedly?) & with the freemium building reuse, the other 2 items were a cinch. The only problem would be for players who started after comic con & don’t have Stewie yet to help collect the toys. Regardless, I must say Tinyco is doing a great job juggling its content in a way that makes the objectives totally achievable if you play efficiently. & once I have the lingerie in my possession I should still have time this week to finish this accursed shipoopi quest that has been driving me mad for months.

Same issue here. I have no intention of buying the building anyway but it is missing from the purchase area and from the list above Francine. Im sure its just a temporary bug. Tiny co is usually good about fixing those things pretty quick tho. I reported it in game too 🙂

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s a bug. Whenever I first looked through my list, almost nothing was there. Exited the game and went back in to see all of it. Maybe just a glitch in the loading of menu items upon first boot-up of the new patch.

If you’re trying to get the Peter costume, DON’T start the Francine unlock. It splits Bruce’s drops on the Censor Bar.

You beat me to it. Once you get all the censor bars, though, she’s fair game as far as I can tell, as that’s the only overlap with any other recent item quests, unless you’re still collecting protest signs for Hayley. If not, having to wait until the censor bars are done at least gives plenty of time for the CIA agents to build up.

I cant on the iPad. It takes me to a loadingscreen, wiggling TV and back to “watch now” it feels like Carl is taunting me and I reported it in-game support. I can watch it on Android though…

I had that same problem as well, initially, but I’ve had Carl pop up a couple times in the last few days. I’m guessing that you, like me, are just getting him very intermittently for some reason. Do you have a lot of clams already? I have a decent number left over after the last few events and a purchase, so I’m wondering if the frequency of Carl’s appearances has anything to do with the amount of clams one already has…

I never complain about land but for me I spend massive time and effort to make my town look a beautiful town… that is what I enjoy about the game… but now I am not sure what a person who plays the game from the town building perspective should do….

I know it’s off topic but, I have a few Hovering Ghosts around my hospital (figured if any doctor has reason to be haunted it’s a quack like Dr Hartman) and noticed today that they are reaching out and their robes are flowing in the wind. Don’t seem to so anything special when tapped, but a whole month later we get animation on a Halloween deco. Just checked the Headless Horseman and he is still lifeless as well as headless.
A month late, but still kinda cool.
Now I just have to figure out where to put that HUGE CIA Building….
Not buying any clam ones for her. Saving any clams I have for Roger’s inevitable clam things (I’m a sucker for alien stuff so those things will be mine).

When did the Old Timey Book Store become available and how much was it originally? I’m curious if I missed out on a cheaper, or game cash, deal and if so use it to gauge future building purchasing strategy. Like if something looks like it is just a limited deco and I pass due to build time or some other dumb reason, what are the odds it will end up being an item dropper that costs clams to build in the future.

I wonder if the cover of the romance novel is a little tease to something coming soon… It’s pretty cool we have unlimited time for Francine and Roger (I unlocked Hayley yesterday) so we can really focus on the new Peter costume. I’m only worried about the censor bars but now that the Peter glitch is fixed it should hopefully be doable.

Its just great having something to do, you just need to get the timing right, so theres someone done their quest the time you log back in.. Thats how ive done it 🙂 just done steve and haley.. Okay, now the choice of items for clams is a bit strange. So you have to pay up 100 clams for the Smith house, but the CIA headquarters is normal in-game currency? That just seems odd to me. You would think it would be the other way around, especially since you have the Hazmat area and the CIA MOBILE Lab… Lol. So now the Smiths are homeless in my Quahog, but hey! At least the CIA has a headquarters in the town. XD Bad thinking on TinyCo’s part, in my opinion.

I most certainly have, Bunny! ^_^ Posted it to the games Facebook as they seem to communicate on there and actually look at it. Otherwise I fear it would go overlooked. Not like they can do anything about it now, but hopefully it will help them in future events. If the Smith house stayed around after the event it wouldn’t really bug me at all. But since I’m pretty sure it disappears along with everything else, it’s just a minor annoyance, not a game breaker. Though just like Bitch Brian, I’m going to have to buy it. Can’t have Bitch Stewie without Bitch Brian, just as much as I can’t have the entire Smith family without their house. Lol.

First impressions.
Pretty sortsighted of tinyco to have Bonnie doing 2 different long tasks for 2 different limited time item drops, where in both cases she seems lretty vital in getting them in time.
Naturally I’ll aim for Peter first as he runs out on Tuesday, just hope I can unlock francine before Roger is released because apparently they are going to help unlock him.
Seem like it will be tough/impossible with only Lois doing a 10hour task for 10rare muffins. Ah well, only just started so who knows maybe I’ll get em easy.
You’d think with lots of complaints about how few characters actually do anything of worth they’d change it.
I know its got positives like, new players have a chance too, but funny enough I even saw a new player complain about it on here haha. On the positive side the fact they’ve started reusing buildings fills me full of hope that soon us long term players will benefit during the events with more characters doing stuff. (I think George Takei does something for Francine, but. I have the dojo so I’ll get 3 easily without him :P)
Now back to tapping/planning how best to do this haha.

Hopefully there will not be so much WHINNING about the 2 events running now. I’m also working on the Mayor and the Frangrance Factory while finishing Steve’s quests, The Bictch quests,Peter’s and Haley’s quest. So yeah…it’s busy time but I’m not feeling any stress. As I have something to do…that’s not my job or housework related. Enjoy your weekend!!!

While I think it is great that this in no time limit for these characters, the issue becomes that some tasks, for example “Make Bruce Fret” are in both Francine and in the Intimate Apparel task. I do not have a way to prioritize which “reward” I want Bruce to get.
