THANKSGIVING HAS COME TO QUAHOG!! In order to see the new Thanksgiving content and quests, you must have District 3 unlocked. The first quest is called “I’m Feeling Gorge-ous” and Peter will start it off. Your first job will be to collect 5 Turkeys.
It’s a small little update with a few decorations and a new skin for Lois, Fat Lois.

Pretty small little Thanksgiving Update, perhaps (in true TinyCo fashion), maybe there’s more to come as Thanksgiving gets closer? Anyway..
Here’s what this little update contains:
Two new decorations for cash (shockingly no premium items…now THAT is something to be thankful for!):
Oven Lovin’ Turkey- $1,250 (you will be required to buy this as part of the questline)
Cornucopia Float- $2,000 (you will be required to buy this as part of the questline)
That’s it for new decorations…now as mentioned above there is a new skin for Lois…
Fat Lois!
You will have until Monday, December 1st (at approximately 3pm PST) to completely unlock Fat Lois. If she is not completely unlocked, she will disappear from the game at that time.

Turkey Spawn Rate: (Per in-game FAQs) “Once you start the quest “I’m Feeling Gorge-ous Pt. 1″ 5 Turkey Squatters will spawn immediately. After that, one Turkey will spawn every 1.5 hours for a maximum of 5 in your game at a time.”
After you’ve unlocked Fat Lois, the Turkeys will drop coins instead of materials. They will continue to spawn through the end of our Thanksgiving celebration in Quahog.
And that my friends is it…hopefully just for now…for Thanksgiving!

What does one have to do to activate the Raise the Roof task for Peter? I tried it while he wasn’t doing anything, and nothing happened. Do I need to have a certain building out or a certain task completed before it’ll work? Thanks!

I know what you mean! It wasn’t until I finished collecting Lattes that turkeys started to drop Stuffing. I had a total of 5 Stuffing before I completed that task.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but they’ve added a few more ways to earn stuffing so it doesn’t just come from turkey’s now, there’s an action from Peter called ‘Raise The Roof’, and an action from Mort called ‘Serve Fatty Brisket’.

As much as I like the Smith family I’m hoping the fat Lois has some fat sex with Peter. They sure are packing in the characters now. I’m starting to wonder what the limit is for the mission icons? Too much stuff going on.

The limit is 16. I hit the wall during Halloween when Tinyco wasted 4 slots to get players to buy Alien, Predator, Cleveland, etc. and I had a few 24 hour tasks I couldn’t get around to because there wasn’t an opportunity to.

I’m loving the thanksgiving event! I didn’t know it had a timer! What is the point of Joe Swanson?! He contributes to nothing, he’s about as useful as Cleveland😒

Hey, y’all! He’s useful as comic relief! He’s also the only character outside of premium ones that I spent claims to make sure I got. I agree though that with all the characters running around they could be doing more for the questlines.

For unlocking Fat Lois, I was just wondering, is it just me or are the stuff to collect her very easy to find. I was finishing some tasks and the ones for the pecan pies, even they’re extra rare to find, I don’t know if it’s just me or they’re easy to find. I already got 4/5 of them and I was pretty surprised.

Fat Lois is now my main priority. Still have some very long tasks to do for some AD quest lines, but those can wait I guess. I hope they don’t vanish before I get to do them.

Main street is busy. CIA agents, wizard geeks, dozens of Bitch Stewies and dozens of Bitch Brians, seven or eight characters doing their thing and now turkeys!
With players able to get 90 turkey drops over six days without having to interrupt sleep or work enough rare and extra rare items should fall to complete without stress.
Well, that is until Friday when they reveal what Roger will require which could well scupper everything!

It looks like TinyCo derped again by not giving Hayley a task to help get Pecan Pies. In one episode of AD Hayley was revealed to be the secret multi-time blue ribbon winner for the pie contest at the annual fair.

Can we petition to have them add a “task cancel” button. Right now we can use clams to complete a task, but it’d be nice to also have a cancel one that is free, ends the task (but you don’t get the payout it would have netted), so you can, if you’ve just put, say, Buzz Killington on a 24-hr. task right before a Fat Lois quest that can use him, a character’s task can be cancelled (without reward, but also without using clams) so he/she can now be free to do a task for a character or skin that suddenly without prior warning popped into the game and is most likely limited time to achieve.
Thanks to any and all who are willing to contact them to push for this feature. I really think we need it!

Seems like some good advice to go with from now on is to not send unused characters on 24 hr tasks until you’re sure a new event won’t require them. I send people on 8 hr tasks when I’m not using them. Enough time to keep them out of the picture for a while, but short enough that you can still use them the same day if needed for a drop task or a story task.
Another rule of thumb is that special characters like Freddy Krueger don’t seem to ever be used because not everyone can or will earn/pay for them, and even if they do, there will be other ways to get whatever that character can collect. Also, when buildings are available for coins, buy them. It seems older stuff is getting used again for future events, and if offered again are for clams the second time around.

What I like to do is put unused characters on tasks that end around 6PM and 12AM. If TinyCo drops a new quest on me by surprise I’m prepared. The only time TinyCo got the upper hand on me is after Halloween where they dropped the American Dad event in less than 24 hours and I had to clear 24 hour tasks that were filling up my task bar.

i’m definitely into this one! i love thanksgiving so i’m concentrating on getting Fat Lois at the moment, already have Intimate Peter, Stan, Steve, AND Hayley thanks to some clams, in which i RARELY buy lol && ALSO just need 2 more muffins to get Francine! 🙂
trying to get the boyfriend’s game caught up now! he needs Hayley, Francine and has Stan and Steve. he’s working on getting Intimate Peter and Fat Lois. (i’m like OCD with his game haha, i always check his to see if hes doing what i’m doing. he is just a few steps ahead of me with now clearing District 9, but i’m WAY into how i play the game than he is cause I LOVE this game :))
Anyways, i dont know if anybody else knew this, but on Cartoon Network tonight they showed a Family Guy Thanksgiving special called “Turkey Guys”. missed it! 😦 but im recording it later. XoXoXo! hope everyone else is having as much funn as i am playing this game and all of these current AWESOME events.i’m having no troubles at all and had no more clams in the last day or so

Has anyone had an issue with the game freezing and losing drops? It’s happened a couple of times with me but luckily only lost one or two items.

CIA agents, Bitch Stewie, Bitch Brian clones and now Turkeys all roaming around… yeah, gameplay has been lagging and freezing, especially when they respawn together. Newer device, most items in storage plus I restart my tablet and turn off every other app before loading game. Still happens.

Got intimate Peter today just in time for this nice new surprise. However, I sent the characters who weren’t collecting for Francine on 24-hour quests before I knew about this but I’ve already been able to get some items thanks to the turkeys and Peter’s 1-hour tasks.

I see someone mentioning this each time we have a new unlock sprung on us, and I’ll admit I’ve never understood the wish to run 24-hour tasks, unless they’re part of a questline. You can get just as much as or more than you would running multiple tasks of lesser time each, even if they don’t add up to 24 hours. I can see doing it if you’re going to be away from the game for a day and want to maximize your gains, but in most cases, like yours, the person seems to be performing shorter tasks with other characters concurrently, anyway. Why do the 24-hour tasks when the need to intermittently check back into the game anyway would make doing multiple busywork 2-, 4-, or 6-hour tasks for those “unneeded” characters more effective than single 24-hour tasks? Especially when TinyCo so loves springing things on us like this. Am I just missing something obvious?

You pretty much universally get more for doing multiple small tasks than the equivalent-time longer task. It’s an intentional trade-off in this sort of game to reward the people who play more often. So normally you should try to set all characters to about the same amount of time, depending on how soon you think you can get back to the game.

Yeah I don’t get the 24hr yaks either. When I charactwr isn’t in use in my town for skins or quests I send them on hourly tasks if I’m able to check in that often… It adds up to being substantially more coins in the long run…

Yes, you’re missing something obvious, humans aren’t always this supremely logical. With 50 characters and all but 5 going unused for 95% of the updates, people want to get the others out of the way so they don’t have to deal with them every time they open the game to send the 5 real characters on item-earning tasks. That’s why tinyco added the char storage option, albeit broken, but still, once you have millions in coins, and with nothing on the horizon to spend them on, you’ll probably understand being lazy a bit better.

Well I cant speak for everyone but me personally I dont need the extra coins anymore and I have every character possible except for king butt so it takes a while to assign tasks to them all at the same time and I work a lot so I need my game checks to be short and sweet sending the few needed players off on their tasks only takes a min. Its pretty rare that they drop stuff on a monday so I didnt see it coming though I should have its thanksgiving week.

I have all characters. Those that are leveled up to max and don’t seem to contribute anything, I send on long tasks. Usually 12 hr, but sometimes 16, 20 or 24 hrs. King Butt is completely useless, so he is almost always on his day long task. I look at walkthroughs and quest posts to decide who goes on long tasks. Once they’ve served their purpose, they just take time away from quick logins during work hours. And TC usually doesn’t post updates on Mondays. I still have over 2 million coins, even after buying 80+ picket fences, all coin buildings and decorations. (Most of which just ends up in storage.) I don’t have a need to maximize coin or XP payout with more than half of my characters.

Oh my. I’ll be soo mad if the key to placing Roger is having progressed far or finished Stan’s, Intimate Apparel Peter’s questlines or even having Francine unlocked. Her Muffin drop rate has been beyond pathetic for me so far. I’ve continuously sent Lois and Bonnie on their lengthy tasks and only got a single Muffin so far.

Given that IA Peter is completely unrelated to the American Dad event, I’d be very surprised if he even has a contributory task that requires the IA skin. But the presence of Stan, Francine and the rest of the Smiths is certainly going to have an impact on gaining Roger, if current trends continue. None of the Smiths so far have *required* the previous members, but all have benefitted from their presence, whether via questline tasks or item drops. Roger would be the same, I would think.

Nothing yet and I do not think there will be. I haven’t seen any company yet turn in game coin to Real life Currency. That’s how they pay their bills. But this is TinyCo..so you never know.

Do you know how long Lois & Bonnie’s cooking tasks are? I set them both to start their 10-hour tasks for muffins just before this event started. & of course peter is off on a 20-hour internet porn bender. It’s a whole week tho so it should be plenty of time to get it all done.

Do you know if this is timed? Between this, unlocking Francine and intimate apparel Peter’s questline there is a lot going on all of a sudden. My play time will be limited this week so I hope we will have a fair amount of time to unlock fat Lois.

Yes. This ends Monday 12/1. I suggest focus on Lois and Intimate apparel Peter (who leaves tomorrow) over Francine. As long as you have found Francine (and start collecting stuff for her) you’ll have as much time as you need to unlock her..the others are all timed.

This one doesn’t seem too bad, since TinyCo placed a lot of characters on the harder tasks. Though I might have to take some off Francine.

Im hoping that i can finish getting censor bars for intimate apperall peter so that i can completely get started on fat lois. We have until tomorrow for him, december 1 for fat lois, and forever as long as you place the buildings for the smiths. i think tinyco is trying to see who is paying attention to help and support with these events

Looks like they haven’t sold enough muffin stands but I wont bite.Im sure theres a way to balance Lois & Bonnies tasks to get both Francine&Fat Lois and not spend a clam to do it….So,if Fat Lois turns out to be a timed event and I do get stuck buying my final 1,2 or 3 muffins for Francine it will still be cheaper than a muffun stand that I dont want.

I love the game and have nothing but respect for Tiny Co. My only complaint is that they should warn us a day ahead of time when stuff like this is going to happen.
Once again I sent everyone not needed to complete Francine on 24hour tasks like an hour before this update hit.
I’m always able to get all the skins and characters with no problem, so I’m not really worried, but I would def appreciate a heads up.

That’s a god idea, especially if they didn’t specify an exact hour it would still be some what of a surprise.It would also in courage people to open their game often during that particular day…. I just got home from work and logged in to the family guy quest for stuff and when collecting got the last two necessary items for intimate apparel Peter just in time to start the quest for fat Lois now my question is is Lois time I need to know if I need to focus more on unlocking fat Lois or Francine

As long as you’ve found Francine in your town you have as much time as you need to unlock her. However, Fat Lois will leave the game if not unlocked on Monday 12/1. So my advice is focus on Lois.

Good thing about Francine is that she is no longer event bound, once you buy her car and get her bubbles you have her forever. “Sexy” Peter on the other hand is going away tomorrow. But yeah having it also share with Francine will make it harder to get Fat Lois. Pretty crazy.

Francine can wait she will be available after the american dad event is over anyway as long as you have purchased her car and are able to start collecting things for her. No rush there. Focus on the limited stuff like intimate peter and fat lois:)

Ya.. I’m one such person as well. I still need 6 censor bars, and of course, Bruce gets yet another item to his “Fret” action. I wish TinyCo would actually use some of the characters, or different actions in the game for items and not the same people/actions for everything.
