Hello There Clammers!

Well Halloween has been over for a while now & the Bitch Stewie Event came to an end last week…so I thought let’s got a big combined poll together to get YOUR take on things!

Sorry this has taken so long after Halloween to get up.  It’s been a little hectic in Quahog lately…so we’re just now getting the time to put this together.

We want to know what YOU think about all the events as a whole.  Consider this the ULTIMATE Event Poll:

As always we’ll share the results with you all next week!

What are your thoughts on the event as a whole?  What did you Craft? Are you happy to have things return to normal, or sad to see it go?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

  1. I think the balance was spot on on this. I have spent no money I. This game been playing since April may time now. Do so the discounts at the end are good i got Consella because of that.

  2. Disappointed at not being allowed to buy more than the one Redrum Inn. A good looking building and was hoping to build an avenue of them.

  3. I think the events are crazy fun but they were way to hard to get all of them without out spending an insane amount of cash on them. If the clams were just a bit easier to collect then people could finish the events without spending to much money

  4. My overall review is that it was better than a certain other game’s Halloween event. It offered new things, but needed some fine tuning in places (ie Diane unlocking, Trick-or-Treaters). While it’s not a bad idea to go for the successful formula that Comic-Con did (which in turn was based on Kingdom of the Moon), but I would like to see some variety in the big events so it doesn’t wear the formula down. It ended better than Comic-Con, so I give it a good rating, just needs a little fix in places.

  6. I was able to craft everything during the event. Some prizes I crafted more than one. I did not know you would get additional prizes when you sold off craft items. In the end I have about 50 graves and countless other decorations in storage. Not sure what to do with them right now. lol

  7. Liked the event except the fact that Cleveland is 400 clams while I got him in my second game for free during the Egypt event. Kinda a rip off if you ask me but this isn’t what the hell post 🙂 So yeah I loved bombing those little trick or treaters wish I could have done that IRL too. Roasting the marshmallow man always made me want some s’mores. I did miss Chris’s transformer costume tho him and meg would have had a pretty good joint action 😀

  8. There is no ‘no/neither’ option for the question “Did You Purchase, or Already Have, Cleveland & Unlock His Ghostbuster Costume?” All of the answers assume a positive on getting Cleveland. I was saving for Cleveland and didn’t get enough clams in time to get him or earn his costume, since without him you couldn’t get the quest for it, unlike Stewie’s comicon outfit.

  10. One question I couldn’t answer is the one asking if you bought Cleveland, because they didn’t give the option of “No, I didn’t buy Cleveland.”

  11. I liked bombing the little brats the best. I really didn’t care much for the characters tho, Freddie,Jason, predictor, alien, just never cared for any of those movies. But overall it was all fun

  12. I enjoyed the Halloween event very much altho since I am relatively new to the game, I couldn’t obtain as much loot as someone with more characters. Still, overall, I was very satisfied and happy with the event. My only caveat is that I would have liked a little more warning as to the exact time of ending of the event. I would have bought more items with my spirit vials (not very happy with the random choices available after) if I had known it was going to end mid-day instead of that night.

  13. I had over 65,000 spirit vials left over, what a waste would’ve given away if l knew how and TinyCo would’ve allowed it.

  15. My note to the creator read as follows: “When the event was over, those with less than 1k vials had wasted effort. Options to purchase small things after the fact with vials or turn vials into other resources would have made me happy(for instance a 1 clam/100 spirit vials would have been a good trade). Latches kept my buildings hostage in exchange for clams. That felt unfair and made me unhappy. If I put a character in the building prior to the latched, I then lost them until my timer ran out. I have purchased clams but prefer to buy premium buildings and cool characters (see Bitch Brian) not pay a ransom for my buildings. Please do not run that type of an event again.”

    • You do realize that posts exactly like this one are what led to the stick bombs not being as abundant as were the rockets in Comic Con. You are ranting that you needed more (beyond the dozens and dozens) free items so that you can use every last little vial to feel your efforts weren’t wasted? Would you be more happy if instead you didn’t have enough vials? That seems a more likely solution that just handing out free clams. The latchers are part of the event and require strategy, which is great, cus ya know…it is a game. It seems like the only way some people are going to be happy is if Tiny Co just builds items non stop and dumps 100 of them in to our games every week all for a 30 second task. If you just want pictures of neato family guy stuff I assure you there are many websites and fan art out there to fill such a need. This is a game. Tiny Co is a business. All of this complaining by what I feel is a small percent of the player base just hurts the community as a whole.

      • As I stated above, I don’t mind spending clams. I’ve bought a few thousand and enjoy buying cool things with them. Paying real money just to be able to play the game is not my idea of fun. The game is a city building game, not a how much cash can you spend. I wouldn’t play it otherwise. The vial to clams was a thought. Vials into small prizes or vials just into coins would have been nice. I am stating my ideas for improving a game I enjoy playing. You are free to disagree, but my thoughts are no less legitimate. For newer players, the latchers were a big problem because we COULD NOT produce enough to clear all the buildings and it felt, to me, like the buildings were held hostage. I enjoyed the other parts and even don’t mind that I didn’t get everything I wanted. However, Tiny Co deserves to hear constructive feedback and I’m always happy to provide it.

    • Really? I had no problem with latchers. Between the ghosts constantly earning traps, at any given time, I had more traps than latchers in my town. I thought the trick or treaters were the worst part. Bombing minions is very frustrating. I actually enjoy the latchers as an additional aspect to the game.

      • ^Onslaughtrm has my back. I felt the same way about the latchers and bombing trick or treaters. I am happy they are releasing all this (mostly free) content for us and am glad this forum exists to have a dialogue about their methods. All this constructive feedback makes for a better game for us. Keep it up, TinyCo and addicts!

      • Same here, I ended up with 50 spare Traps, it was the Trick or Treaters that I hated the most.

    • Latchers weren’t a problem for me whatsoever. I was actually fun compared to the ones during ComiCon. Now that was hell. In that event they held the Q Hotel hostage, so it was near impossible for me to get item drops. I’d get rid of a Latcher and less than 5 minutes later one would reappear.

The secret with the Latchers during this event was to ignore the ones on unimportant building. I easily had a surplus of traps with Diane and Francis grinding. When I got up to around 10 traps I’d always clear the town of Latchers.

    • Agreed. Those latchers are the single most obnoxious feature of these events for me.
