Hello There Clammers!
As the game evolves we’re noticing more and more of you commenting about upcoming items/features you’d love to see in the game..or even questions/concerns you have about the game. So (as suggested by you) we’ve decided that once a month we’re going to give you guys the 1 central place for you to put your game requests (features, events, characters, decorations etc) would be the best place for TinyCo to see all of your great ideas!
Remember..TinyCo does listen to YOUR requests (and they read this blog!) as evident by a ton of the features we see in the game today! (You never know when you might see a TinyCo’er in the comments responding directly to YOU!)
And to get the ball rolling I’ll kick it off…
Dear TinyCo…first off I still I would really like to see the task lists for characters shortened. Are all those repetitive task times really necessary? Especially when the character is just going to a building to disappear inside? Can we shorten these lists up a bit?
Now for something new…I would really like to see some sort of character list that shows when they’re on a task and where they are. This way if you forget where you sent someone, you can always backtrack quickly and find them 🙂
Dear TinyCo… Bunny would like…
1: The Inventory a little more organized. I like there are 3 separated tabs, but I would like it to go a step further if possible. I would like the Decorations & Buildings either Alphabetized or maybe grouped into Events. It takes a bit to find something in there with all our cool “stuff” we got. Especially when something is just randomly placed in the middle.
2: MORE lil decorations. Lil flowers (white 😉 ), bushes fences, pathways, etc. I love all the lil things each Event has in the Event Area and would love to keep a lot of that around. 🙂

I don’t have anything unique to add. Any changes I would like to see have already been mentioned. If I may, I would like to leave a few of my impressions.
1) 900 comments to this one post. Most are well thought out and passionate. People really do enjoy this game and show it. I’m glad to be part of this community.
2) Seeing postings by TinyMatt shows me that TinyCo is not just in it for the money as some have claimed. Sure, they need to have a steady stream of income to exist, but, I do believe they want to make this game better.
3) To me the most impressive thing is the amount of time and energy that Bunny and Alissa put into this site. Thank you for making it fresh, informative and, most of all, FUN. Your dedication is greatly appreciated.

I’m also loving all these great comments. Getting players involved in a game and it’s success is really Commendable for TinyCo to do.
And yes…Matt is reading every last one. He may not comment back to each individual, but trust me when I say you are all being heard. 🙂

Hi,
1. I would like to have an option for cancelling an action.
2. I would like the buildings to tell me if and who have actions inside them. This is to help me decide what I can put away and what I might need.
3. A character list that shows who is doing what action and how much time is left because everyone likes to hide behind buildings when outside! Hahaha plus sometimes you just can’t remember what building they’re in.
4. I like how special event questlines reward clams, can the regular ones do so as well?
5. We need an option to collect more clams besides the 5 per week from neighbours, with the amount of premium characters released and content as well, it would be nice to be able to get something without spending so much money. May I suggest a building that drops clams maybe..
6. Also a comment on the most recent event: i enjoyed the event and got most of what I wanted from it but I found the questlines were long, calling for 8 to 12 hour actions and from the same characters. Especially near the end, the characters cupid and hot Meg were released last and had questlines that were impossible to finish because of the length of the actions required. Normally during a special event i spend the last couple of days just buying decorations because I finished the event but this time was not the case.
7. Can you please bring back Jesus
8. When having a special event I think it would be nice during the last couple of days to offer ways to get the currency or objects needed for characters by simply purchasing them from the shop.

I don’t understand why TinyCo couldn’t extend the event a couple of days if they didn’t release the new district yet?? I was only 50 hearts away from Hot Meg so I just needed 1 more day 😦

First off, the game is great and I love the way the developers actually listen to their players. Not to mention how generous they are with clams.
One request would be to *not* have the character icon at the top left always snap back to the alphabetic beginning of the characters. For example, say you do not want to send Barbara, Bonnie, and Brian on tasks (for whatever reason.) Every time you send another character on a task, it snaps back to Barbara and you have to cycle through all of them over and over as you send the others on tasks.
As some have suggestd, a collect-all button and a send-all-on-X-time-tasks button would be nice. James Woods is also a must.
Above all, stay honest. The best thing about this game is the fact that you don’t set up events that are impossible to complete without spending premium currency. (Unlike another game.) Every event I’ve been around for *has* been possible to complete just by playing. It may take some serious grinding, but you *can* do it. Please, don’t ever break from that model.
Oh, and characters for Bunny and Alissa (even if NPC) would be great. 🙂

I would like there to be random short quests pop up, at the moment I have one quest to unlock Adam west, I log in every 4 hours to see if the required items have dropped then log out, if I had more quests I would have more reason to play the game more often between events.

I’d like Leonard Nimoy/ Spock in the game as a tribute to him they should have a small event get some of spock’s famous quotes and let people get him and you should be able to have as long as it takes to get him so no timer when you build it so the building he’d come with is limited but as soon as you’ve built it you can take as long as you want to get him. Or a Star Trek event where you can get all the main Star Trek characters.

I would like them to finally fix the game crashing issues that occur when I visit my friends’ quahog.
Also for all of you that want Cleveland, he doesn’t really do much, but it would be cool if you could visit someone’s quahog and make an offer to buy one of their characters, buildings, etc. using clams or coins.

I’ve been playing since the beginning and have gone through all the events. I feel like the game may be winding down for me. My hope is that you can use this to keep people playing the game longer. None of my friends who started playing with me are still playing.
I have $2.3 million and nothing to do with it. That number is growing quickly. I have no incentive to collect more.
Up until this point I’ve purchased clams to buy all the premium characters. But, for the first time I’m going to pass on Benedict. With 60 some characters it feels very tedious to assign them all tasks. And, event characters don’t serve enough purpose after the event to justify adding more for me.
I won’t spend clams on buildings because there is no where to put them.
Overall, this is an addictive game. I’ve spent countless hours and about $30 in real money on it.
To make it worth while, though, I need incentive to play. I have more cash than I can spend, can’t level up any more, not enough land for more buildings, and so many characters that it becomes cumbersome to assign tasks. Give me something to spend that cash on, give me land for more building space, reward me for leveling up, and allow me to assign tasks faster or even in bulk, and make event characters truly useful. That will keep me playing and spending real money on your game.

I haven’t seen this idea yet..How about if the tasks and times were independent of each other… As in all the tasks stay the same, but you decide how long they do it. For example Seamus does cartwheels for an hr …well maybe I want Seamus to do cartwheels for 8 hrs. So I pick that task then that time.
As far as collecting materials go it wouldn’t have to change. If you needed to send Seamus cartwheeling for an hr to collect such and such, you would just need to make sure you picked the 1 hr time for him. The main reason I thought of this was that people could send their peeps to do the outdoor tasks for longer times if they wanted. Plus it seems to put more control in the players hands.
In the same vein, all characters should have 1,2,4,6,8,10 etc time limits and tasks. Thanks for listening Tiny co. Bunny and Alissa as well.

Dear TinyCo, I would like the ability to nuke just sections of the town. Maybe have it that when you hit the nuke button you could have an eraser icon and drag over everything you want to store and separate button for nuke it all. I spent way too much time setting up my Nerdville area (spaceships, Alien Queen, heroes, etc.) But I also like the idea of starting over. Right now, though, I may just have to take pictures of how I have it set it up, nuke, and then start over. Not sure yet.

Dear time co I would really appreciate..
1. Collect all coins button
2. Faster/easier way to find a building in inventory or if it is part of the event, to be able to click on it from task area and it automatically bring you to the item/building if its been placed in inventory like you do with characters that are in inventory.
3. Give us a way to delete items from inventory. Sometimes you collect a lot of decorations as part of events that while fun getting them, you have no desire to reuse in your town after the event. Don’t get me wrong,love decorating.. just hate searching through the long list of items I’ll never use to get to my item.
4. Be able to cancel someone’s task they are on so we don’t have to worry so much about events. Once an event starts we can cancel some people mid way and not receive the coins etc but at least we wouldnt be hosed
until they finish.

New roads and pathways would be nice, and more and larger trees, they seem small compared to the houses.
What would really help would be characters with tasks to be ad the front of the list and skins to be first. Takes too long to scroll the list and skins. Too many times the game crashes while searching.

Please can you make more space as I’ve nearly used it all up only two sections left to buy with coins, but I can easily full those up, I love my family guy being organised so hate all the buildings being on top of each other due to no space, got so much stuff in my inventory that I would like to show off but can’t. Please Tiny Co make more space for our winnings !!

I would like more involvement from characters unlocked through previous events. I’ve got an idea for a new event to do just that.
There could be another comic con event where new celebrities come into it and we could have the old celebrities to have new skins for it such as a hellboy skin for Ron Perlman, a Charles Xavier skin for Patrick stewert and a codex skin for falicia day etc.

Was wondering when the Cleveland clan are gonna be added to quahog, plus it would be fun to enter buildings and interact with features and other characters, character quests for clams, as well as being able to visit other players quahogs to interact with characters for prizes and clams.

It seems it’s always down to the same characters to gather items for new characters, even multiples. Like others have said, please can some of the older characters (like Cleveland, he rarely has any actions) have the option to collect as well?

Kool aid man also needs a 4 hour task. Getting him to level 25 is very tedious, and losing an hour every 4 hours just makes a bad situation even more frustrating. (I’m not gunna log in every 3 hours and every 4 hours). Also regarding kool aid man, his 8 hour task earns more xp than his 10 hour task.

I would realy like a funny decoration for my town
It would be called and uck shack with uck shack written in red on the side
The description would be “the first letter is wiped of but I think we all know what it is”
Then when you tap it a duck would poke it’s head out the door and then go back in
I think this is a hilarious thing for our towns what the shack looks like is up to you but may I sugest somthing like freddies shack from the Halloween event

Well definitely all of these suggestions and the ones from the few posts I made in the other “dear tiny co”. For this new one I want to add Billy the dolphin as a character and his object could be something to place on the water. I do agree please make the water useable. I would also like to see Peter’s mom and update Tucker, to have a fatherly action with Peter. Lastly pleaes change the cafe and movie theater from the valentine’s day event to buildings and give some characters a date action with another.

I was thinking, since we have 80’s Cleveland, why not do a time warped event with Death. It would be Peter going back in time to when he was 18. It would be the perfect way to add Louis, Glen, and Peter when they were 18. Peter’s Towel boy costume, Louis and Glen Country Club Dance outfit costume. Oh and Molly Ringwald when she met Peter in St. Elmo’s Clam and Hellriser would cost clams. To make it more interesting Meg, Chris, and Stewie if they were born from Glen and Lois could be added.
The event could be a short one like the Valentine’s Day event. Instead of the love vs hate prizes it could be if the character did this in the past this would happen. So like the Fine Arts Distract missions for Stewie to get Plutonium to travel in time, you have to help Death catch up on his list because of Peter going in the past and altering it, by clicking on people who are walk around like the couples. This would make them drop a piece of paper for Death’s list. St. Elmo’s Clam, Molly, and Hellriser could help drop paper. Now what I am thinking is to help decide on which prize the player gets depends on what action the select. For example Peter goes back in time, you get the option “Go on date with Lois” or “Hit the town with Cleveland”. The date action will unlock a decoration that can help drop paper and the hit the town action will unlock Lois’s Country Club Dance costume. Another one could be Glen going back in time and his could be “Impress Lois at the dance” and “Leave town for airplane school”. Impress action could grant the player Glen’s Country Club Dance costume while the leave town action could grant the player a commercial plane to fly around the town (like the decorations that walk around, but the plane would be in the air). Of course changes could be made, but I thought it would be interesting!

I’d like my unfinished character quests from the Valentine’s day event back. I deliberately forewent the card rewards from these quests and saved them up so there would still be something fun to do after the event ended, but now they’ve all disappeared, except for the Cupid one which I can’t finish anymore because he’s not unlockable anymore.

Dear TinyCo,
I would really like it if when we have timed immediate tasks, such as tapping love/hate couples, rather than have the timer initiate on startup, have the timer initiate after the first tap after startup. The startup screen takes a while now, and I tend to put the device off to the side to “initialize”. This act, done due to the long init time, caused me to completely miss the short-timed love/hate action several times. The same thing happened with prior events (tentacle Stewie).

I’d like a way to cancel a task a character is on (without the reward, obviously) in order to free them up. The only way to end a task now is to pay clams to speed it up, but it would be very useful for a variety of things to simply cancel the task without the reward and send them to do something else.

1. Collect all rent button (as others have suggested).
2. The ability to collect items from neighbors (if you find that they have a character on a task that drops it)
3. Keep the usual suspects on the tasks to unlock characters, but add additional tasks for the characters from previous events to aid in the unlocking. This gives new players the ability to enjoy the game, but gives long-time players a reward for what they’ve put time effort and money into in the past. That small advantage gives us a reason to want more characters.
4. A reward for leveling up. A clam. An item. Anything.
5. Bring the price down on premium items. I think you’ll find that more players will buy items if the prices are 50 clams vs. 200 (or 500!), and you’ll get more return because of it.

I would like Leonard Nimoy to be a character in the game, with two outfits: The Star Trek version and Future Spock. Back to the Future Event since Family Guy did those episodes and another Player Character event.

They’re not going to lower the price for Cleveland, it wouldn’t be fair to those who ponied up 400 clams, or the ones who worked hard for him to get him for free in the King Butt event.
My suggestions?
Always more new characters than more new buildings.
Collect all button would be nice.
Getting Death, Neil, and Evil Monkey into the game at long last.
New celeb characters to consider licensing?
James Woods for sure (duh!)
Continue the action hero motif (John McClane, Arnold) with further additions from the genre: Martin Riggs or Mad Max (Mel Gibson), Dirty Harry (Clint Eastwood), any one of the James Bonds (Connery, Moore, Brosnan, Craig, doesn’t matter), Neo (the Matrix – Keanu Reeves), The Bride (Kill Bill – Uma), Lee Majors – The 6 Million Dollar Man,
And for pete’s sake Arnold and the Predator really ought to have a duo tandem task together, obviously (ideally a brawl). Duh. 🙂
The Cast of Star Trek TNG, obviously. (already have Patrick).
And yeah, make the ocean usable. 🙂

Was it fair to players, who bought Conseula for full price, when TinyCo sold her for 30% off during the Halloween event?
400 is way too much for a co-star character. TinyCo messed up from the beginning with Cleveland by making him a limited time character instead of one players unlock through a district. By TinyCo lowering his price to 150 or even better make a side event to unlock Cleveland through tasks again during a Cleveland Show event would be a good compromise.
The simple fact is nobody is going to pay $10 to unlock Cleveland especially when premium celebrity characters are half his cost. He’s currently designated to the category of “I have no other regular characters left to unlock with Clams, so I guess I’ll buy him just to complete my set.”
On a side note TinyCo, please, bring back the Smith House as a regular purchase item. It makes no sense that its not always available especially when the Campsite from the AD event is still around.

I would love to see House, MD as a character. Considering he was on an episode of Family Guy and is a member of the fox family, I think it’d be a fun addition. “House.” “Road House.” Haha.

Dear TinyCo I would also like to see the Jersey Shore cast from mtv make an appearance in the game. It could be like Quahog Visits the jersey shore and have all the cast members like Snooki,Jenny JWOW,Sammy,Ronnie,Pauly D,Mike the situation,Vinny,Deena, and even Angelina. It could be a cool update if they tried to teach peter how to GTL (gym,tan,laundry) and fistpump while a night out clubbing. And lois could get mad and possibly end up in a fight with snooki because lois could think shes trying to steal peter from her.

I have a few buildings from Xmas that I would like to incorporate into my town, but they have snow on them. Perhaps skins for those buildings that are snow free?

Agree with cheaper Cleveland. Also really really want a blue harvest event. And maybe more achievements for google play. Finally, you used to earn clams each time you leveled up, I’m really disappointed at higher levels its just bragging rights.

A few things..
1. Some of the classics. Greased up deaf guy, James Woods, Ollie Williams, perhaps Angela, and Horace.
2. Collect all coins with a click.
3. Categorize inventory.
4. Get rid of drag and drop feature.
5. Make the ocean available for islands and boats.
6. Last, and definitely not least, able to trade coins for clams.

Bunny, been reading for a while and need your opinion. I’m saving up on my clams as Cleveland wiped them out. Also already bought Jake Tucker. Should I get Buzz Killington, the horse, or Conseula?

Consuela, hands down in my opinion. Buzz bores me to death personally. And the horse, funny at first… but more an annoyance. I LOVE Consuela from the TV series and would prefer her to the rest.
But to be quite honest… wait… see what this new event brings. She is here to stay and there may be something Limited Time coming up. But of course… all your choice on what you do with your shells. 😉

I would like to see the roads be able to be put anywhere, not just in specific spots. I’d also like to see curved roadways, and buildings that rotate all four sides to be able to fully customize our Quahog cities. A clam factory would be cool too. More clam sales and discounts. More craftable outfits. Premium characters that help out more with quest lines. Open up the water for placement of water based decorations. The ability to buy old premium characters that we missed because we started playing later than others. More pathways. More fences. MORE HOUSES. A bus or train. More land. Let us inside the houses to decorate. I’m sure there is more, but I’ll save those requests for future posts. Thanks for considering my suggestions! I LOVE the game!!! 🙂

I see a lot of people requesting ridiculous large things such as changing the view of the game, regardless of whether rotation or first/third person this is impossible just because of the way the game is built and as for the subject of clams, the micro-transactions are the primary source of income from the game, without them Tinyco would not be able to keep developing the game and unlike some other games there is no apparent paywall you are never forced to use clams they have never made a freemium character that was impossible to get as for me I don’t really want anything in particular the rate that things have been happening lately is fine and I like being surprised 🙂

Hiya I love the game but I would love to see a ‘Collect All’ button to collect all of the coins from the buildings (for example in the morning when everything needs collecting).

There’s a lot I could ask for or suggest, but I’m going to make it simple with ONE request because it’s the only thing bugging me.
Stop charging 400 clams to buy Cleveland! He’s a main character in the show and one of the guys’ best friends! That’s where he’s even listed in the Facespace categories, not “characters you buy”. Even just charging only 100 clams would be reasonable and this is coming from someone who spent clams to get characters like George Takei and Gene Simmons. (The boyfriend has bought even more like Alien, Predator, Arnold, etc)
It just isn’t a justified price given all the main characters we didn’t pay squat for.

1) I would love a way to see what every character is currently on task with easily and a way to find them on said task.
2) I would love a way to cancel a character after its been put on something. Too many times I put my characters on a one day long mission, just to find out last minute that they are needed for a timed quest of some kind.

The people writing comments saying stuff like “it’s too hard to…” need to realize TinyCo is a for-profit business. This game is only offered for free because there are aspects of the game you either need to spend 24/7 playing to accomplish or spend actual money to get. If they made everything possible to get without buying clams then the company would not be making money on it and could not afford to continue working on it.
That being said, I love the game. I started playing for free but after a few months I used some iTunes gift cards to buy a lot of clams. For the amount of enjoyment I get out of it I feel they deserved my money.

disagree my friend about your statement, but that is quite okay!!* lol I’ve been freemium from way back in August I started playing and have played FREEMIUM until just a couple days ago i bought clams.
But wanted to give MY input, I’ve managed to unlock, receive, and WIN everything I’ve wanted from the past few big events, starting with ComicCon and ending with the Valentine’s event. I NEVER had to purchase a clam to get caught up or anything and I had did not have the time to play every single day at least once!!..what I’m trying to say is that I respect your opinion, but there’s alot players like myself for instance who made opportunities to win everything without clams. 🙂
