UPDATE 5/8: Per TinyCo the Turbolift & Replicator were not supposed to be in the Inventory. A patch is coming to resolve the issue.
UPDATE 1015PM EST: ALL Major Error Messages should now be resolved. Already messaged them on the Turbolift & Replicator Image. Will update with results on what I get back on it.
UPDATE: Event is now over, but seeing a few reports trickling in of Connect Errors once it ended. Keeping an eye on it and sending all reports to them. Will report if we see anything else.

TinyCo just confirmed, a mad rush on the servers caused a “traffic jam”. They are working on the Connect Error. Also, Tapping on Troi in the Inventory kicks you out of the game. They are also working on that. Hang in there.

Hey there Tribblemakers!
Here we are, a bit over a month later and the really cool Star Trek Event is about to be leaving our silly lil games. What should you do to prepare yourself? Well they already gave us an extension moving the Original April 30th End Date to TODAY… MAY 7th, 3PM PDT.
Yesterday we even received a reminder pop up in the game that it will all be going TODAY MAY 7TH 3PM PDT…
When you go into your game and tap on the Event Starfleet XP Icon, you will go to the Main Event Menu and see the timer (though it still shows the older date). You will be able to see there the EXACT amount of time YOU have left to complete the Star Trek Event. Still Ending TODAY 3PM PDT !
This additional Pop Up also showed in our games before the Event ended. Still Ending TODAY 3PM PDT !
With it all about to go, let’s take a look at just what you may want to do before the Event Ends.
All of the information is the details we have as of THIS post. 😉
GET ALL CHARACTERS YOU WANT
In order to keep an Event Character, they need to be “active” in your game. This means you need to have COMPLETELY unlocked them and placed them into your game. In Inventory Storage is fine as we know some of you are waiting on unlocking Stewie to use his Talosian Costume, but in Inventory is still considered active in the game.
Make sure you Purchased all the Characters you wanted. Spending Clams is YOUR choice, but make sure you snag them BEFORE the Event Ends.
Make sure you collected all the Materials for Characters you wanted and have gone to Al’s to “Create” them. (As long as you started that timer, it will complete after but you HAVE to start that timer BEFORE the Event ends. They’re only 10 minutes so give yourself time to make them all.)
Make sure you won the Characters out of the Mystery Box or Planets you wanted.
ANY CHARACTERS/COSTUMES NOT “ACTIVE” IN YOUR GAME WHEN THE EVENT ENDS WILL GO WITH THE EVENT.
GET ALL THE BUILDINGS YOU WANT
There were many Buildings released throughout the Event. In the Shopping Cart Menu, in the Replicator, and even in the Mystery Boxes.
So make sure you check all over to get the Buildings you want to keep in your Quahog. (If you already started building something and the timer is running down, it will complete just fine after the event.)
ANY BUILDINGS NOT PLACED IN YOUR GAME OR IN YOUR INVENTORY WHEN THE EVENT ENDS WILL GO WITH THE EVENT.
GET ALL THE DECORATIONS YOU WANT
There were many Decorations released throughout the Event. In the Shopping Cart Menu, in the Replicator, and even in the Mystery Boxes.
So make sure you check all over to get the Decorations you want to keep in your Quahog. (Remember if you are buying multiples of one item to leave them ALL in town til you get what you want, then story them. Otherwise once you hit around 25, it will start pulling them back out and not let you store anymore.)
ANY DECORATIONS NOT PLACED IN YOUR GAME OR IN YOUR INVENTORY WHEN THE EVENT ENDS WILL GO WITH THE EVENT.
GET ALL THE MOVING DECORATIONS YOU WANT
Moving Decorations are a way of having something almost like a Character, but no tasks or anything associated. This Event has brought many in various locations around. Make sure you get all the ones you want. My favorites so far are the Borg Kitty and the lil Tribble Army I acquired in the Rupert Mystery Box.
ALL MOVING DECORATIONS WILL GO WHEN THE EVENT GOES
GET ALL THE ENTERPRISE ROOMS YOU WANT
We were told that the Enterprise Rooms we got would be placed into our games in the form of a Decoration once the Event Ends. Just how that all will work, we will find out AFTER the Event.
For now, just go back aboard and double check to ensure you got at least one of any Enterprise Room you wanted for this.
ANY ENTERPRISE ROOMS NOT ACQUIRED WILL GO WHEN THE EVENT ENDS.
USE YOUR MATERIALS
We have lots of Materials we earned throughout this Event. Dilithium Crystals, Synthesizer Ore, Dark Matter, and Phaser/ Transporter/ Life Support Energy. Use up what you can on any of the items above.
ANY LEFTOVER MATERIAL WILL GO WHEN THE EVENT ENDS.
FINISH UP QUESTLINES
Pretty much all the MAIN questlines for the Event go with the Event. Per TinyCo…
Only specific character questlines will remain after the event. Players will be able to continue the quests for Spock, Worf, Guinan, Edo Herbert, Q, Klingon Meg, Kirk, Scotty, Borg Consuela, Khan, Pike Joe, Uhura, and Seven of Nine. Part of Talosian Stewie’s questline will stick around as well
So if you wanted to see the dialog play out on the questlines and have some excess time to do so, go for it. If you are still focused on using those Characters for other things, then don’t worry about them.
COMPLETE TASKS BEFORE END TIME
We know many of you like to cut it REALLY close to the end to get those last minute items. Remember, it will take time to complete items, tap the Check Marks, Create, Build, etc. So my suggestion is set your timers to complete tasks at LEAST 30 minutes to an hour BEFORE the Event Ends. That will give you enough time to finish it all up and still look around to see if there was anything else you missed last minute before it all goes.
GET SOME CLAMS
If you have some extra Transporter Energy and fully upgraded on your Warp Cores, take some tries at the Borg Cube Planet. You may be able to get some extra Clams into your Game.
SPEND CLAMS???
We always state this and repeat it many many times… Spending Clams is YOUR choice. Do not ever feel you HAVE to do so. It has always been and will always be in YOUR hands to make that decision. Just ensure you are fully aware of the consequences and know that it is something YOU want to do before going ahead. Will YOU still be happy with that purchase 3 months from now?
That all being said, using Clams to speed up items last minute to pull them into your game before the Event ends is going to be up to YOU. Just make sure if you make that choice, do so by spending the LEAST amount of them you can. For instance… see if you can get the Material Cheaper on a direct buy out. See if it is cheaper to speed up a Character or Room instead. See if waiting til the task is under an hour will offer you cheaper speeding options. Simple things like that.
WHAT ABOUT THE TASKS ON ENTERPRISE?
There will be a way they will transfer and integrate into Quahog. We will have more details on this for you once the Event Ends and we verify it all and the new locations.
WILL THE ENTERPRISE STAY?
No, it will not. If you want to get some more information about the Event or thoughts on the Enterprise by Matt @ TinyCo, see the Q&A post.
So take a few minutes and check all over Quahog and the Enterprise to ensure you got all you want. Come 3PM PDT TODAY… it will all go.

Is it just me, or is it REALLY TEDIOUS to tap on the cross, then the inventory, then a character, then repeat.. to get all my characters who were on the Enterprise back out of storage? Why does it need to close the thing everytime!!!!!

Lol. The last hour of the event I made sure that all of my ST characters were wandering around my town just in case of any “errors” after the event.

I got all characters and skins except for Consuela, Uhura, and Joe. I wasn’t going to spend umpteen million clams trying to get the Consuela skin when I don’t have Consuela yet, didn’t want the Joe skin, and fell way short on synthesizer ores for Uhura. I didn’t even try any of the planet boxes because I only wanted the cats and Consuela skin and am sad that I didn’t have the option to just buy the cats outright. I opened about 20 Rupert boxes and got everything but the computer console, warp core 6, and red shirt. I love the tribbles running around. The warp cores and Enterprise rooms are huge, though, so it’ll be interesting to see what it looks like after I rearrange things in town to make a Star Trek area. I managed to finish making all of the Pawtucket items during the event, too, and I swear, if I ever need another bottle cap in the game again I will scream.

Are we going to get new content soon? I have nothing to do, nothing to unlock now that the event is over. I know many welcome the break, but for me it spells boredom. You have any clue about when anything is coming next? Thank you.

Well, over all a cool event. the only thing I didn’t get (that I wanted as a freemium player) was Uhura. that was my faulght though, I didn’t have a way to play for a day and a half, so that reset my Bertrum, and I just never recoverd from that. I also work and sleep like a normal person, lol, but got everything else without going crazy with it, lol

yeah..totally screwed the end up!!! I slept all day from working last night and *COMPLETELY FORGOT* it ended today. I had about 15,000 crystals and lots of energies! Didn’t get Picard, Uhara, or even Kirk and didn’t get to replicate any of those statues and WORST OF ALL…bought 2 freemium myster y boxes when I wanted to go back in and spend the rest of my crystals! Wow I’m an idiot lmao my fault I know it 😤

Sweetat I feel your pain. I didn’t have nearly the resources you did but I wanted to spend the rest of my dilithium on flowers and other decos. I got stuck in traffic taking my mom on errands and thought I would be home in time but wasn’t. Waaaah! lmao. Ah well, it was great fun but I am certainly missing the tribbles – I did get two for Quahog but they don’t replicate – and of course will miss the Enterprise. I thought the tribute to Spock and Nimoy was first class. I hope they do this again in a few years. LLAP.

my quahog now has a very strange population. aliens, spacemen, an eqyptian pharaoh, a couple of ghosts, celebrity nerds; when peter griffin is one of the normal ones, you know something’s not right.

Oh, joy. They make that popup screen today which makes me think it was extended another day and now I had saved up everything for Uhura except 2 green cubes then it all shuts down and all those 170 black orbs and the 13k dilithium I had built up all for nothing.

The event was a blast. I managed to get Uhura at 1pm after spending clams to accelerate some actions.
I reinstalled the app as it was taking over 1GB. It’s now down to 160mb.

If it’s saved to an email or Facebook already… yes. All your game data is saved to that and you just reload it back after accessing the menu again from the newly loaded game.

I had a turbo-lift in my inventory when the event ended, was looking for a spot to place it when I got the error message ‘Config empty for id quagmiresHouseGeneric in BuildingAction’. When I finally got back in, turbo-lift was missing.

Connection errors are gone, but the turbo-lift is still gone. When I opened my game after the event, there were two items in my inventory without description, but showing the icons of the turbo-lift and pewtucket brewery, which made me suspect it was a bug of sorts. When I placed the pewtucket brewery, it turned out to be the replicator with the surrounding ground from the enterprise around it. The turbo-lift did not show up, only one occupied square (shown shaded) with nothing there. Are we supposed to get the turbo-lift and replicator in addition to the rooms and characters from the event?

I am really annoyed at this game. My game said it has again been extended and I was 1000 dillithium of of John-Luc Picard so I thought “oh that’s good, I should be able to get him” and I apparently had over 2days left. So you can imagine my annoyance when I tried to load family guy to defeat Borg bertrem with 1HP left and I had to reload my game because the event ended. If I knew it was going to end then I would’ve got Beverly Crusher as I had enough stuff but wanted to get the Picard Outfit.

That is so odd, I feel bad for those that got the incorrect pop up. No idea why they did. I got the one that looked like the day before, but the wording had been changed to “ends today” (both in this post). It is unfortunate if that happened. Everywhere else… in game timer, FAQ, Facebook, Twitter, here, etc… all still had the date/time ending correctly yesterday. 😦

I’m super disappointed that we didn’t get an enterprise “shell” with space to put the rooms like it was implied. I would have gladly destroyed half of my town for a recreation of the Enterprise. I KNOW it can be done. I REALLY want it. And I hope that Matt or someone from TinyCo is reading this because I want it to happen more than I’ve wanted everything else in this entire game.

It actually wasn’t implied. We were told specifically no Enterprise but they MAY try an alternative way for us to visit depending on stability of it (see Q&A link)
Only thing he said they would do is give us the rooms we got in decorative form. Would be cool to keep but a lot of issues created by having it stay.

This recent event was pretty much unplayable for me due to the game crashing after a few minutes of play time and then having to come in and redo all actions that were done before it crashed…sometimes I would have to do that multiple times which for me turns me off from the game… anyways
I know you communicate with TinyCo, which leads me to my post here.. is there anyway for you to possibly create a poll to see what kind of devices, operating systems, software versions people are having issues with so that TinyCo could possibly investigate any potential issues?? I play on a GS5 and I don’t believe I ever really had any issues until my phone updated to 5.0 a while back and have nothing but issues since. I even did a factory reset of my phone and reinstalled the game and the issue still persisted, I think many players (including myself) would be super pleased if they could pinpoint issues and resolve them so we can actually play the game and enjoy it at the same time!

So I decided out of the characters I had left (Kirk, Uhara and Joe’s weirdo costume) I really wanted Kirk. I was about 100 crystals away with 15 minutes left and my last away team finishing up on the cube. They finish and I end up getting… the clams. One time I do not want to get them. So I end up sending an away team to another planet that has a chance of 100 crystals and using the clams to speed up the trip. Ended up getting the crystals and scoring Kirk with only seconds on the clock. That was close.
A shame that I was unlucky and couldn’t get everything. Before the extension the event was a solid “F” for me. With the extension it is probably a C-. Way to stressful and not enough fun, but I am no longer thinking of deleting the game. Until the next event any way.

I am so happy. Locutus can indeed play with Borg kitten still even though earthbound. Also all my Star Trek buildings are still generating currency and experience points, just converted from dilithium crystals/Star Trek points to Quahog dollar coins and points. So they’re not useless decorations. Good news for my new chain of tea shops and Romulan bars.Looks like they did a straight conversion of possible tasks for each Enterprise character. Hope they keep it that way.
I always thought I didn’t like city building sim type games, being more a match 3/Tetris type of person, but decided to try this one to see what they did with Star Trek. Turns out I just don’t like realistic city building games. Ones based on goofy cartoon shows where I know all the characters are fun! At least this one is. I was able to get pretty far in this Event without paying real money, considering that I started from scratch playing the whole game later in April (so it was pretty late before I even got to the Enterprise) and had no idea what I was doing for the first few days. I unlocked Sick Bay but didn’t bother trying seriously to unlock woozy Dr. Crusher and left Counselor Troi pinned under a hunk of whatever in Ten Forward (couldn’t getost of the picture frames she needed). But I was able to get all of Peter’s costumes and most of Quagmire’s (not his Star Fleet one, though), Starfleet Lois, Klingon Chris, Ferengi Mort, Riker, Geordie, and Locutus and was up to level 8/warp core 4 even playing very haphazardly (ignoring quests on the Enterprise, focusing on accumulating loads of Stuff and perfecting my Petercraft shooting skills). Didn’t do much with Away Teams, my luck wasn’t good and there was little time left. All without paying out a real dime. So even when missing a lot of the action, it’s possible to have a good time with this game.
This site is quite helpful – just the kind of detail I was looking for (especially since I was so late starting and knew I wouldn’t finish the Event) but didn’t spoil the game, and the moderation keeps the discussion from degenerating. Bunny – treat yourself to a cup of Earl Grey, hot.

Are we meant to have things like the Turbo Lift in our inventory when I place it in the world its just a blank green square. Also got another Brewery in inventory but when placed in the world it shows up as the replicator ?

Load error sorted for me. Massive thanks to you guys at FGA for all your hard work and support, having a full time job and being an addict is tough! Your blog is a blessing for those such as I who try to balance their life with the game. Could still do with some advice on how to handle my other half, I got a major telling off for getting my fix while at a social gathering! People don’t understand the time pressure this game puts us under! Also a big shout out to TinyCo for extending the event and allowing me the time to unlock two more characters. You guys are awesome for running this site and I hope it offers you some compensation for the effort you put in, I’d seriously have no dramas dealing with a few ads to Redbirds you both for the time and care you put in.

The replicator room was a nice bonus, along with new tasks. I was hoping that we would get the areas for tasks like Mix Drinks, Sit Riker Style etc., I know you are aware of the general problem, just a heads up though, Guinan’s Hat Catalogue task in the Stop and Shop causes an error. I need to finish district 9 soon, I want to move loads of buildings there to create more space for my Star Trek area. Got Mayor West the other day and just got Tom.

Haven’t tried all of them, but sometimes the character provides its own prop for the task. Geordie materialized a computer panel that flashed lights and short circuited, Peter still provides his own captain’s chair to twirl around in. For some things, they seem to just find a handy building to disappear into (as they did with the turbo lift). Klingon Chris zipped into his house for one task, while Riker walked into the high school to play 3D chess. Anyway, try the different tasks to see how they do it in Quahog.

Didn’t see anything about it in the comments so far (apologies if it was posted or stated earlier), but the “replicator” decoration in my item inventory has the picture for the Pawtucket Brewery (with no name), but when I click on it I see the Replicator ready to be materialized into my game world. Minor issue, but a little confusing as I had the brewery on the background of my screen while seeing all this.

Glad the event is over (and just before I go away for a week) i managed to get all the characters, DC prizes, mystery prizes I wanted and all the replicator prizes bar the bronze Bertram statue 🙂 it’s a shame we couldn’t keep a generic copy of the Enterprise as some of the crews outdoor tasks don’t seem to fit in with Quahog.
Now for a problem. I was halfway through pulling all my characters that were on the Enterprise out of storage and sending them on tasks and then the game suddenly flashed up an error with something along the lines of Load Error and mentions empty space and Quagmire’s house, but the error only flashes up briefly (so I can’t get a screenshot quick enough) and then tries to reload the game.
I’m also getting a lot of connection errors but I assume that’s down to the load on the servers with every one trying to connect and update their games.
I’ve tried all the usual trouble shooting but no joy, so I think I’ll call it a night, go to bed and try again in the morning 😉

Sounds like my workplace. But my excuse is that I’m their only developer (tinier than TinyCo) and they want a ton of stuff done yesterday while I also put out fires because they haven’t planned customer deployments very well (if at all).

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this event and I’m glad I got the extra week because it allowed me to get Data, Stewie AND Picard without spending clams on anything. I had no hope for anyone else, so I pretty much didn’t do anything on the game yesterday or today but spend my leftover crystals.
The ONLY thing I didn’t get that I really wanted was the Herbert costume. I think I sent teams up about 30 times and got nothing but crystals each time. Who wants to bet if I could have done it one more time, I’d have gotten it. 😉

Hey same here, the three characters you mentioned were those that I targeted for the extra week. I got them and Uhura after speeding up tasks on cannon betram borg with clams. I tried to push for pike joe in the last 15 hrs, by speeding up the phaser battles, but alas luck was not on my side and I ran out of clams without being able to defeat him. Spent the remaining dilithium on decorations instead, which on hindsight, I should have done instead of wasting clams on borg battles.
Now that star trek is over, I’m happy to finally put quest for stuff aside until the next blockbuster comes along (i.e. Jurassic park or star wars). This event has been exhausting, having played every 2 hrs for the past three weeks, thankfully it did not coincide with my exams.

OK… so the event ended and everybody got booted from the Enterprise. Peter, Quagmire and Joe were placed in town. Lois, Chris, Troi, Riker, Crusher, Stewie, Spock, Mort, Data, Locutus, LaForge were place in the inventory.
It’s a bit weird, as both Lois and Peter were on a away mission, yet they returned to different places. Teleporter malfunction? I hope they’re OK and didn’t swap minds or anything. The others were either battling Borg on the ship or doing stuff in the turbolift. All their missions were cancelled.
Placed Troi in town, tapped her (hihi) and got… Consuela?? She says “Config empty for id Nature_YellowBirds in Drop”. And now the server went away 🙂
And now I can’t post comments on your site… The “Post Comment” button does nothing. Something about “TypeError: jQuery(…)[0] is undefined” 🙂 And that is something about a #googleplus-sign-in element.

Best event yet. Only disappointments were no Wesley crusher, I didn’t get the flaming red shirt, and I was sad to see that spot the cat and the Borg kitten were clams only. But otherwise got everything a week before original end date (freemium, that is), I had saved enough clams to get Worf, and thanks to extension I got Kirk, joe, and uhura.

This is funny! I never had a single connection issue throughout the whole event, even when others were going through it, but now, when it is over, I tried to get in to start to organize my little town, and I can’t get in on any of my devices! *chuckle* The goddesses way of saying, “take a day off!” *grin*

How was I supposed to get klingon meg? I saw her on one of the expedition planets but couldn’t for the life of me find out how to get her? She wasn’t in the store, or the replicator or the planet mystery box thingies?

You had a temporary 24 hour offer, but you had to buy 3 premium characters (Worf, Guinan, and Q). I did this; and am glad to have gotten Klingon Meg.
