Hey there all you Mafioso!
This Mobster Event has brought a strange new twist into our silly lil games and I for one am excited to see how it all plays out. It is a mix of Individual Goals as well as some Fun Competition.
In this post I will be breaking down the ins n outs of the Leaderboards.
HOW DO I SEE THE LEADERBOARDS?
In order to get to the Leaderboards, your quickest route will be the Trophies Icon in the Lower Right Corner of your game screen. Tapping on the icon will jump you right into them.
Once in there you will see all the different Tabs for information on the Leaderboards. As you bounce round the Leaderboard, you will see many options that travel with you from Screen to Screen.
Top Left & Center: Your Current Rank, followed by how recently ago that Rank was Updated.
Bottom Center: You will find a quick arrow up and arrow down option to jump to the Player Ranks through all the Top Tiers.
Bottom Right: You will see a Countdown to how long before the Leaderboard refreshes.
INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD
This is a where you will see all the Prizes YOU can win in the game by collection Fedoras (Mob Rep). As you hit a Goal, you will see a Pop Up in your game telling you to “GO” Claim your Prize.
Tapping in it will take you to the Individual Leaderboard so you can tap on “CLAIM” and bring the Prize into your game.
Note: Some of the items will NOT instantly add. For instance, the 750 Cookies were there in my town when I returned. Similar to how they look when they pop out after a task completion. It only took a moment for the game to collect them for me and Update my Cookie Counter. You can also tap on them to collect them if you do not want to wait. Other items may be found in your Inventory Storage, so check there for them when you return.
WHAT PRIZES CAN I EARN FROM THE INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD?
There are a total of 10 Prizes you can get by hitting the Goals for the Fedoras (Mob Rep). As you collect Fedoras to increase your Mob Rep, you can Claim each one of these at the Mob Rep Amount listed. Here are those items.
Prize 1, 250 Cookies: Earn 100 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 2, 10 Clams: Earn 500 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 3, 750 Cookies: Earn 1,000 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 4, Fake Romatic Gondola Ride: Earn 2,500 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 5, 25 Clams: Earn 5,000 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 6, Chainsaw Henchman: Earn 7,500 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 7, Security Octopus: Earn 10,000 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 8, Gurl Scout Headquarters: Earn 12,500 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 9, Mafia Dinner Table: 15,000 Fedoras (Mob Rep)
Prize 10, Kingpin Consuela: 17,500 Fedoras (Mob Rep). Side Note: If you reach 17,500 Mob Rep, you will not only get the Kingpin Consuela Costume but the CHARACTER Consuela too. That is a HUGE savings in Clams.
So just continue to earn as many Fedoras as you can to increase your overall Mob Rep to hit the Individual Prize Payouts.
GLOBAL LEADERBOARD
This is where you can see a complete list of the Prizes that will be awarded to Top Mob Rep Counts at the END of the Mobster Event.
As these Prizes will not be awarded until the End, the information is limited but we will still cover the basics.
The game will let you know what ONE Prize you’re current Rank “Qualifies” you for as well as others close by.
WHAT ARE THE GLOBAL PRIZES?
The Prizes awarded AFTER the Mobster Event ends will be given out by TinyCo. Only ONE Prize per Player. This means no one will get all 10 Prizes. They will only be awarded the Prize they end up ranked at and verified by TinyCo AFTER the Event.
Again, due to these will not be awarded until AFTER the Event the information on them is limited.
Rank 1-100: Don Corleone & Golden Griffin House & Zoot Suit Stewie
Rank 101-1,000: Don Corleone & Silver Griffin House & Zoot Suit Stewie (NOTE: The “Qualified! Tag was just MY standing when the Leaderboards went live.)
Rank 1,001-5,000: Don Corleone & Bronze Griffin House & Zoot Suit Stewie
Rank 5,001-10,000: Don Corleone & Zoot Suit Stewie
Rank 10,001-50,000: Zoot Suit Stewie
Rank 50,001-100,000: Corleone Mansion
Rank 100,001-250,000: Horse Head on Bed
Rank 250,001-500,000: Driveby Car
Rank 500,001-750,000: Don Corleone’s Cat
Rank 750,001-1,000,000: Godfather Toll Booth
Looking at these stats, it seems that at LEAST 1 Million Prizes will be awarded. That’s a LOT. Beyond that, we will just have to wait and see how it plays out. Til then, it should be a fun mix of competition to add to the game for those that want to go for it.
MAIN LEADERBOARD
The Main Leaderboard Tab will take you to the overall Mob Rep Status of 3 Different Areas.
You: This Tab is where you will see your current Mob Rep Ranking in the game. Tapping on it will immediately locate YOUR spot in the Ranks. 
Top 50K: This Tab is where you will see the top 50,000 Players Ranked Highest Currently in Mob Rep. You can scroll up and down to see the names and Mob Rep amounts.
Friends: This Tab is where you will see your Friends/Neighbors Mob Rep ranking in comparison to yours IF you have your game linked via Facebook.
Now that we have the Basics out of the way, let’s dive in a little deeper into the details of the Leaderboards.
HOW DO I GET MORE MOB REP/FEDORAS?
They are available to earn all over the game. Tasks, Questlines, Raids, Buildings, Decorations, etc. So see what options gives YOU the most for the time you put into the game and earn you the most Mob Rep you can.
WHERE WILL I SEE MY TOTAL MOB REP/FEDORAS?
You can see the total amount in your main game by looking to the Lower Right Corner and the Trophies Icon. Your current Mob Rep Total will be displayed there. You can also see it listed at the Top Right Corner of the Leaderboards Pop Up.
The more Mop Rep you earn, the various Rank you will get in the Leaderboards depending on where the other Players competing stand too.
WHAT IS WITH MY NAME ON THE LEADERBOARD?
Each Player will be assigned a Unique and randomly generated Leaderboard Name. These Unique Code Names allow Players to compete against one another will protecting the Individual Privacy of the Players (as many may be using their real names via Facebook).
Take a few minutes to go through some of the names, they are pretty funny.
WHAT IS WITH THE ??? IN THE RANKS?
As the Leaderboard is being calculated, you will see a ? instead of a number. Give it time to refresh and once it is completed, it will update the ranks to the amounts.
I DON’T SEE MY GLOBAL RANK UPDATED?
As this is a compilation of a LOT of Players, it will take much longer at times to refresh. Be patient with it due to it may take upwards of 5+ minutes to refresh the Current Rankings.
UPDATE: I just wanted to clarify for Players as it seems many of you are getting confused on the Ranks. YOUR Ranks will update quickly as you are in YOUR game and it can detect any changes to YOUR stats right away.
As far as the Ranks of you vs GLOBAL, those update around ONCE a day (see top of the Leaderboard to see what time it was last updated. If it is noon and it says “Last updated 6pm PDT”, it means the GLOBAL ranks were updated the night before. So wait for the new days update to see where you stand. They seem to hit between 3-6PM PDT when they update.
Otherwise you will just be bouncing around all day long in stats Globally. So going in there every minute will only tell you where YOU are as far as your friends/Neighbors. Not Globally.
Now for some areas of concern…
WHY HAVE I BEEN BANNED FROM THE LEADERBOARDS?
If you are seeing a message stating YOU have been banned from the Leaderboards, you will need to Contact TinyCo for further support.
Banned Players usually mean activity/behavior was detected on your account that violates the Terms of Use. In order to preserve the experience for all players, they are banning players who violate their Terms of Use from the Leaderboards permanently.
As this is NOT something to discuss publicly, we as well as Support can’t comment on specific disciplinary actions against specific players, or actions taken to limit exploits.
If you feel you were banned in error, Contact TinyCo for further support. A TinyCo Rep will review your game.
Again, if you have ANY questions about a disciplinary action taken on your account… Contact TinyCo Support directly from your In Game Messaging.
We also ask that our Readers here please stick close to our Addicts Guidelines in regards to this. Allow TinyCo to address the concerns directly with the Player(s) impacted.

I wonder if anyone will be able to take over the lead, that person is quite far ahead! I came on today(they went live while I was asleep here) and I’m in the top 900! Really surprised and happy about that, I’ll have to work to try and stay there in the hopes of being able to get the second prize tier. I won’t be surprised I I move down though. I assume the different Griffin houses are just skins, would be nice if they all a earned more money and XP, or had some other incentives, not just a different appearance.

While I’m not a fan of the worldwide leaderboards I really like how they set up the individual ones. Using mostly the first few main characters for earning points might bug older players, I appreciate it. I started playing just before Comic-con, so Takei was never in reach due to lack of characters. He was the one I wanted most. So I like that touch.
I also like the possibility of winning Consuela outright! When your budget is more Jake Tucker and less like Worf you have to deal with missing out on some characters you’d like. So you talk about incentive! 😆 just hope they reimburse clams to those who purchased her then win her.

Currently ranking somewhere around 12,000. Rather surprised by getting that high on the leaderboard with playing without clams. Still, there’s around 5 weeks left in the event and it seems the leaderboard will eventually start to favour those who’ll buy the premium characters. Hopefully Cleveland will help me climb the rank a bit, once his costume comes out. As for Consuela, why is she so useless right now? Considering the fact that I spent my hard earned clams on her and that she seems to be an important part of the event, why doesn’t she help out with any of the item drops, nor the mob rep?

Just saw the other thread. Seem to be a theme to the mass glitch.

2. At mental level 6
3. Was able to do the first warehouse job (Pinatas). Yet, We earned the two candies, that have no where to go (as they are for Diabeto – who we have yet to unlock).
******BUT, non of us has Diabetos unlocked, yet**********
because….
4. We still need to “Talk to Consuela”.
5. CRASH!!!!
6. We all are, or most waiting, to do THAT TASK – So we can unlock Diabeto so he can collect the candy we earned for him. LOL

I can no longer get in my game on a Samsung Android mini. Game Craches as soon as it gets 755 loaded. Tried 8 times was able to get in an hour ago. Was coming to get Peter at the end of his 8 hour task so I can talk to Consuela. Click the thing to send crash report. Tried force restarting to no avail. Your my only way to let TinyCo know directly. Please help!

Honestly It could be someone who spent a TON of money in the game. While it seems odd to you and me, there are people that will drop a TON of money on a game like this…just be be ahead.

Correct. Like it says in this very post. Those found “abusing” the Leaderboards will NOT be able to participate in them. So I wouldn’t worry about it. Just play, have fun, and leave the police/detective work to TinyCo. 😉

Not just the leaderboards. Anyone who was flagged in the past, justly or unjustly, can’t even view the leaderboards. Kind of overkill if you ask me. Should punish people *if* they cheat at leaderboards, not punish them before the fact.

Not true. Not one bit at all. If they can’t view them, something else is going on. That will have to be taken up with TinyCo. So no… NOT overkill.
It is not fair for a “hacked” player to participate in the Leaderboards against honest players. Plain and Simple. In the same regard I have asked that MY game be removed from the Leaderboard Prizes awarded as I know that myself… I spend a LOT more than an average player for the sake of the site. So as a human being, I do not feel it is right to take from others. I would rather leave that spot open for other players.

Well, I had a warning on my account about 6 months ago, learned my lesson, and no reason for any warnings since then. Between the last few mini-events and Star Trek I spent about $200 on clams, and I am banned from leaderboards. My mob rep is only 2830, obviously not a hacker amount, because it’s not. I never even got to *see* the leaderboards, because I was banned from them the minute they opened. I think the premise is ridiculous, so I won’t even bother sending in a help request, but I do think you have some wrong information.

Lol I was wondering how they came up with all our usernames how hilarious. I have a quick question tho concerning the Fedora hats!: Just noticed I picked up at least 20 from taking out a couple of the cookie delivery trucks and those didn’t go to my hat count whatsoever.. It just now happened in bf’s game too,he literally said it after I did lol. I have read a few comments from other players saying this same problem and I hope hats I’ve collected in the past couple days are being counted too because I didn’t notice until just now.. 😒
just write in a support ticket to TinyCo.,I believe then? Otherwise, I’m having alot of fun with this event! It’s probably gonna be my favorite big event so far. 😊

My guess is it’s a randomizer. They just put a bunch of “mob like” words in and paired them up. The Mob Experience in Vegas does a similar thing…when I did it I was “The Fox” but my Dad was “Stinky Cheese”…which just made me laugh hysterically.
The counts from tasks and trucks sometimes go up before you tap on the hat to clear it, so it looks like it’s not increasing. Not your Rep before you clear a truck and then note it after it should still increase. The only area I’m seeing it not work right now is the safe house bonus rep.

I am surprised they put this live with all of the crashes and most people are going to be behind because of it. Btw Bunny Mort still drops brewery items because the one time he didn’t drop any dog food he drop a brewery item. FYI my game is still crashing but I can get in every once in awhile to send people 9 tasks but still a little behind on the event due to the crashing.

I think a leaderboard would be awesome…if I were better able to deploy my arsenal when competing. I have a bunch of characters, some premiums- a lot of us do. Would be fun to see them pull more into these events from what we did before.
Then let’s brawl, see who comes out on top.

I am so happy to see that as a freemium player I am in the top 25,000! I thought for sure I wouldn’t have a chance for any of the cool prizes like Zoot Suit Stewie, but now love this event even more than before!

Anyone else think the leaderboard prizes are a really stupid concept? Only about 16,000 people will get Don Corleone? They should have made it like the community prizes in TSTO so everybody has to work together to get all of the prizes.

I’m so highly disappointed that they’re not awarding all prizes below where u end up ranking, but I’ve sent in my complaint/suggestion to them because as we all know they listen to us sometimes….I’m putting this comment here to implore everyone else who feels the same to make a suggestion thru the in game communication….maybe they’ll listen to us!!

That would be the equivalent of winning the top prize in the lottery and then expecting all the money paid to those who only had four or five of the correct numbers. Besides, who has spare land for all those items that will just wind up in inventory when next event comes along?

GETTING REALLY SICK AND TIRED OF THE CRASHES. All day ever time I tried to log in, I would get kicked out. Have uninstalled and reinstalled game. Have even sent tinyco a message about it. The more they tri and do with the game the more it just seems to crash.

If you have any screenshots from your game showing your Player ID, it will help them locate the old one. Or at least the opening Splash screen from the old one. Right now they are flooded with crashing issues, so response will be backed up. Just email them all you have. See what they can find for you.

Sweet Fishes 20 ranked 578 at moment, but expect to plummet before the end. Will be disappointed if finishing at a given rank wont be awarding all the prizes from the ranks below. Still, enjoying mechanics of the event so far.

It’s pretty clear from the descriptions that you only get the one level and nothing below. That’s why they have the bundles at the top. Perhaps we’ll have the option to buy lower prizes.

Clear all Pawtucket items to their limits. But an FYI as we’ve ran into this question many times before… the Brewery drops will NOT interfere with Event drops. That means with the Dog Food being UNCOMMON, it will only drop now and then. NOT every time. So the other times it is NOT supposed to drop you see coin & XP or a brewery item.

Last time I was able to get into the game I was at about 1136 hats I think., rank was somewhere in the upper 5300’s at the time. Would have been nice to see where I’d be if my game hadn’t been crashing at startup for over a day and a half. It’s worked off and on parts of today but right now can’t get in at all again. I saw the update in the crash thread, hopefully the patch fix comes soon.

Great, I can’t even see where I am because I’ve only been able to get on 3 times today. I can just hear myself falling down the board while being shut out of the game. I’ve actually been hoping they do something like the leaderboard for awhile and, now that it’s here, it might be the thing that drives me out of the game. Frustrated.

You’re right, it is there. Sorry I missed it. I think I misread when it said you get ONE prize. I have been a totally freemium player and am around rank 3200 which shocked me lol. I REALLY want Stewie but if I keep this pace going I might be able to get him and a couple more things…fingers crossed lol.
I’m not sure where to post this question…all day I have noticed that some of my goons seem to be disappearing. I hire 6 at a time, but there were a few times when they stacked up, like I had 4 go into the game at once to raid the trucks and when I went back to hire there were 5 open spots. Has anyone else had this problem? It’s happened at least 3 times today.

What is your Capacity on your Goons? I only ask as mine is at 9 right now, and for some reason, it seems some of my Goons “sneak out” of the Copahavana without me checking them off to release them. So check to see if that is happening to you. Otherwise, once you check them off they can be anywhere in town on your streets. Just tap on a Cookie Truck to see how many you have roaming your game or check Copahavana to see what it shows as well in your “Capacity”. The first number is the ones that you have live wandering as well as in queue.

How do you get 9 goons? Was the shady Rv supposed to help? I read your post and seen that you wrote that you should get 3 goons for the Rv but the Rv is just a deco for me. Nothing happens when I click on it.

You start with 3. +3 for 125 Cookie RV then +3 for 250 Clams RV.
So 9 total. Check out the post again. All the counts show in Copahavana, not on the RV decos

I have a capacity of 6 and don’t think any are sneaking away but I will make sure to double check. When I click on the club (or whatever it’s called lol) I see how many goons I have available and how much time is left on newest one. The weird thing is when I tap a truck it tells me I have 3 goons so I clear 3 trucks and go back to hire more. That is when I notice there’s an extra slot to hire one. I try to always keep my que full so losing one goon here and there starts to add up.
Hmmm just thought of something I’ll have to watch for… Sometimes when I have a lot of buildings or characters to collect from I just hit the check mark for the goons and don’t look at how many are available to clear trucks. That seems to be when one goes missing even though I know for a fact there were 6 to begin with.

As stated in this very post, TinyCo is keeping a watchful eye… so only those playing legitimately by purchasing Clams via the App Markets and/or appropriate game play will remain at the end of it all. 🙂

Hmmm… Rank 97 at the moment of release. I figured I was doing okay, but 97…. floored me. Put out a bunch of Fancy Fences and briefly brought myself to Rank 49. That was fun. 🙂
These Leader board Prizes…. Zoot Suit Stewie and up aside…. I wanted Corleone’s Cat and Mansion to go along with Corleone…. NOT awarding all below tiers to high ranked players seems to be punishing them… 😦

Uh Oh looks like the leaderboards are causing more crashing issues. I’ve been avoiding upgrading the mansion because its had my wife’s game locked up for over 24 hours. I got on to check out the leader boards and its crashed twice now while exploring the tabs. I’ve been able to get back on and haven’t been locked out but I hate to see more glitches when they haven’t even fixed the last one.

24,700. I was wanting to be in the top 10,000 as an overall goal, but not sure now….I may want zoom suit Stewie….but then again, Don Corleone would be a whole new character. Ugh! Why only one? It seems like we should be able to get one free one and then maybe another for a discounted clam price for those prizes under the one you can get. I will send that request. I like this new phase. A lot!

I have roughly spent over 2500 Clams and am close to 4000 Mob Rep. By the time I complete all I need and the other 1000 of the $100, I am sure I will be even higher than that.
It all depends on how you play, outside that… let TinyCo police the Leaderboards as they are setting out to do and see who actually remains when it is all over. 😉

You have spent over 2500 clams already? Wow, if you’re truly coming out of pocket for this you have a love for this game like no other, or are rich and money is no object. I question myself when I buy just the 600 clams for $20.

I’m probably close to your ranking, Bunny. I’d be much further if I had been awarded the 100 fedoras instead of just 20 plus the cookies for the 10 attempts through the safe house once I finished the main quest for it.
I made multiple messages to them the last two days to see if they will fix it, but i’m not getting an answer.

The top leaderboard prizes actually expanded since you made the screencaps: Zoot Suit Stewie is now included in the Don Corleone prizes as well… They appear to have realized that accommodating completists when it comes to characters and costumes is important in the long run…

Awesome info!! Currently ranked 2,482 but will be ecstatic if I finish in the top 10,000.. Saw the leader have something like 12k respect points..2nd had 7k..I’m around 1.3k lol. This is kinda fun!!!

I really like playing this game, but having to keep track of how many fedoras are not dropping is getting really annoying. I have already put in 5 reports and have to put in another one in a sec. Frustrated.

Does this mean only 5,001-10,000 people will get both The Don and Zoot Suit Stewie? Cause its gonna be hard to maintain that mob rep if you are in that range. I feel there will probably be a mystery box with the rest of the prizes though. Because people will be mad if they don’t get the Don xD

I’m getting “Leader boards down for maintenance, be back soon” on the screen and at top where the banner should be I see the following “EVENT_BIG_BANNER_TEXT_LABEL” is this common or is it a waiting for refresh mode hun?
