With Men in Zoot Suits running round the game, Goons shooting up Cookie Trucks, and Offers you just can’t refuse… the Mobsters Event is live in our silly lil games.
With the Mobsters Event rounding in full swing it’s time to take a look at the characters/costumes you could unlock throughout the event….
Diabeto is the first character you can unlock during the Mobsters Event, so let’s take a look at this round little guy and just what he’s made of….
Diabeto arrived in Quahog with the first week of the Mobsters Event 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
Here’s a look at just what Stuff you will need to collect to bring him into your game.
750 Gurl Scout Cookies: Character Tasks OR Raiding Rival Cookie Trucks
15 Mexican Candy (Common): Tito’s Mexican Food OR Forklift Obstacle
12 Lard (Uncommon): Cookie Delivery Truck OR Tito’s Mexican Food
8 Insulin Medication (Rare): Bruce Fret About Something OR Fatfather Peter Shake Down OR Tito’s Mexican Food OR Dulces Candy Shop
8 Taco (Rare): Lois Shoplift OR Mort Scrounge for Coins OR Herbert Read to Children OR Bonnie Abuse Jacuzzi Jets OR Tito’s Mexican Food

Diabeto is part of the New Characters Collection, so unlocking him will not help you earn additional Clams:
Diabeto does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Gurl Scout Cookies and Fedoras (Mob Rep) for the Event.

Family Guy Addicts 
Diabeto has disappeared and I can’t get any items to unlock him. His icon is still on the side menu, and when I select it, it shows the pop-up for “That’s How I Roll Pt. 1” and says “Unlock Diabeto” but when I select “GO” it just chimes like there was an error and goes away. He is no longer at the Dulces Candy Shop with the lock symbol above his head. I was only a few lards and insulins away rom getting him!

If you’re willing to drop some clams, buy the Atlantic City Gentlemans Club. I have 11 tubas and I think 7-8 of those are from that building’s payout. I mean, once you have everything else it has a chance to drop, it now drops ONLY tubas. I’m now using my luchadors on the casino part where it pays 100 fedoras. It is a waste to use them on clearing gurl scouts. My 2 cents 🙂

Completely off subject but does anyone elses Mike Tyson speak yet? Had him since he released and not a single word yet Bunny says he is voiced?! I have messaged in game and tried tapping loads like an idiot and restarting and so on….arghhhh! Haha

Did you load it on an android device at one point? And you’re now trying to play on iOS? The update for iOS is not out yet. TinyCo submitted it to Apple last week, they’re still waiting on approval.

I have done so too soon as I found out, I asked if they could give us a prize of say 300 clams if we win her and already have paid for her etc..hopefully they may listen but I think at this point it might be the last thing on their minds judging by all these comments.

Somehow I’m up to 15,000+ ranking. What did TinyCo do? Erase all the Mob Rep people got from buying bushes?
Diabeto is a great character with the way he rolls to move. Funny as hell.

No I bought 510 bushes, because they were giving Fedoras and I still have all my Fedoras and ranking, I know that they banned a lot of people who were using hacks to get free clams.
15K+ movement seems huge, but I can say for sure it had nothing to do with the bushes.
People who used bushes to get Fedoras weren’t cheating or violating any rules. This event seems to have been very poorly planed, or poorly executed but that is on Tiny.Co, not the people who saw that getting 3 Fedoras for only 15 cookies was a fantastic deal and so made use of it, that is just good strategy.

So, since the tuba thing is obviously not going to happen, should I just stop trying and go for the optional hits on the casino for the extra fedoras? Granted, it’s a little late now, but…..I have used at least 20 luchadors on the gurl scouts with 0 tubas. I have three stars on the casino and am thinking maybe I just use them all on that…..ideas? I’ve been playing since the beginning and this is by far the worst event in terms of glitches and issues. I know Tino Co will make up for it as they always do, but good grief Charlie Brown. And yes, I have sent messages and they have replied in a timely manner…I’m just looking for advice cause Cleveland Jr is a huge character.

A little under 2 days till next upgrade. I hitting things I know I wont have time to hit with new quest lines.
Gold trucks, scouts, done the three levels of the casino good enough since no way I wasting a ton of loot to compete for the leaderboard.
Leaderboard is a crapshoot, other things for sure is how I see it.

The tuba thing is really frustrating, not a single TUBA. No matter how many times I get the gurl scouts. Not even 1. Yup, I sent them a message. Sigh.

I haven’t got a single tuba either. And I really want Cleveland jr. I’ve sent messages about missing boxing gloves and no tubas and got NO response whatsoever. Thanks. Might stop playing, I feel like I’m wasting time on this game. When I return to work I won’t be on nearly as much and it’s hard enough getting thru the necessary events, charactrpers and tasks as it is.

My new favorite part of this game is that diabeto ROLLS. He could walk, he could waddle, but no! Thank you tinyco for making him roll. He is one of my favorite cut away characters and it makes me smile to have a real diabeto rolling around Quohag!

My question might be a bit off the topic of this post. I bough the RV to increase the hiring capacity but it is still 6/6 and RV standing in my game as a deco. Am I missing on something?

A 24 hour task for 1 mask when Bonnie has a 4 hour task for the same mask is a real kick in the pants. How can Bonnie get 6 masks in 24 hours and Diabeto can only get one? Is it because he’s fat? That’s not too cool. I mean, those buildings are also only 4 hours for 1 mask and they’re just buildings. And I have no doubt Bonnie is STILL completely smashed from the Star Trek event and she’s able to make it to the store and come back with a mask in 4 hours. What makes them so special? I would’ve liked to see an 8-12 hour task to get a tuba instead.

I agree. Someone at Tiny Co has an unhealthy tuba issue…first the Tubists in the brewery, and now these…they are more like Epic quests for me.
