Upgrade to the Fatfather’s Lavish Mansion
Game HAS to say it is Version 1.9.5 in the App Market (Android, Apple, etc).
Once that was all complete… the Mansion showed the Upgrade Icon… You tapped the Icon… it completed Part 8… new content progressed.
We are seeing many reports it just is not progressing for Players. There is not a reason why, but info was relayed to TinyCo. They are going to be trying to push a patch shortly to see if it will help trigger the Upgrade for those stuck, so stand by.
Force Close and if needed, restart your device too. Patch should be hitting your games.
UPDATE BUNNY 6/19: Bouncing by for some updates. Reported some issues to TinyCo already and here is the feedback…
Math Books: If you update from the Casino, your Math Book drops option goes, they are working on an alternative there.
HERBERT TASK, Take A Gross Bath, will now drop Math Books (Common).
Geronimo’s Palace: A patch was pushed to help fix this. If you got the 3 stars and did NOT get the Palace (for instance due to a crash), check your Inventory.
YOUR Name: Many will now notice you see YOUR name when in the Leaderboards. No worries. This is just to help those know they are looking at themselves. Everyone else will still only see nicknames.
Mansion Won’t Upgrade: As we noted below, to move on… you MUST update your App in the App Market. So make sure you are on 1.9.5, if not go to your App Market and Update.
Update: There was an issue with Cookie Crumbles questline shifting on many people. Or having players do Part 7 over again. This has been fixed and should be working properly. However, TinyCo can’t re-complete it for players in mass. So if you had the issue please write into TinyCo ASAP and let them know..
In Addition…Cookie Crumbles Pt. 7 has now changed. It looks like you no longer need Cleveland Jr. to complete it (i.e. to upgrade to Week 3). The task is now for Bonnie instead of Cleveland Jr.

Well…week 3 is upon us (finally!) so hurry into your Tiny Quahogs and load it up! It’s time to upgrade the Fatfather’s Compound and see what’s in store for us this week….

For now know that you should have completed Cookie Crumbles Pt. 8 in order to upgrade the Mansion (At least that’s how it should work, if you haven’t completed it and can still upgrade please let us know..)

New Cookie Carrier to “Take Down”
Similar to Cookie Trucks and Gurl Scouts we now have a new cookie carrier to take down….
Cookie Couriers….this guys are on bikes and you’ll need 3 Evil Showgirls to Take them down (details on showgirls below)
Evil Showgirls (the new “Goon”)
This week Evil Showgirls we added to The Don’s Nightclub. Much like Luchadors you’ll need to collect an item before you can create the Showgirls.
To create the Evil Showgirls you’ll need Sequined High Heels. 1 High Heel is required to create each Showgirls.
How do you earn Sequined High Heels? Here’s the breakdown:
-Make Bonnie Buy Gaudy Jewelry (Requires Kumono Shop, 6hrs)
-Make Cleveland Jr Go Shopping (6hrs
-Make Diabeto Go Shopping (6hrs)
-Get from Kimono Shop
-Get from Permanent Mistakes Tattoo Shop
-Get from Burlesque Vanity Set
Once hired they take 45 Minutes to create (or 6 clams to rush)
You’ll need Evil Showgirls for…
-Clearing Cookie Couriers (3 Showgirls to take one down)
-Clearing Obstacles at the Takanawa Family Estate
-Taking down Fort Nox
Takanawa Family Estate
This is the new raid for week 3. This will replace Cleveland’s Casino.
Much like previous raids you’ll need to defeat it three times to start to “optional raids”. Beating it 3 times will be required to complete the questline, and your reward for defeating it 3 times is The Asian as you can see above.
We’ll break this all down in a more detailed post later…
Fort Nox
You’ll find Fort Nox in your store. It’ll cost you 2,500 Cookies to place in your Quahog. It is an instant build.
Once in your Quahog you’ll notice a ! over it. That’s because there are actions you can do at Fort Nox to earn you more Cookies, Mob Rep and Spray Bottles for Mr. Washee Washee.
Basically you have to attack and destroy Fort Nox to earn rewards.
You’ll need to hire the various Goons Available to defeat Fort Nox and earn the rewards.
As you can see from the image above the various goons all do different damage. For the first defeat you’ll need 125 points to take it down. So use combos of the various Goons to hit 125 Points to destroy Fort Nox.
We’ll break it all down in another post, but for now that’s just the basics of it.
And that my friends completes the details for Week 3 of the Mob Event!

So I’m on the quest line “Speed Feed Diabeto” and I am not able to complete it because I completed “Take down fight promoter cleveland’s first optional casino raid” BEFORE the dialog box came up. I only have 7 hours left to complete it and there is no possible way to complete the quest line because I already did it. Does that mean I don’t get the Mob Rep after all of that hard work??

But I already completed all of the actions! Normally if you finish a task before the dialog box comes up then it will give it to you (especially if it’s a one time action). This time it did not recognize it and it was a one time action so it’s not like I can just go do it over again. I have been spending a ton of clams on this event and it has proven to be worthless. I am beyond frustrated.

5 gir scouts cleared not only 0 tubas but also 0 shirts. When I click on Girl Scouts under drops it shows nothing. TinyCo if you’re reading this you need get this sorted, something if obviously very off in some of our games.

Same for me – if I tap on a girl scout they show as dropping nothing. Now the tubas have gone completely???

Same here. I’m so far behind now because of the tubas and now we have another bunch of stuff demanding goons. I’ve been throwing every goon I can make at girl scouts and still need 10 tubas. Haven’t even been able to work on gold trucks. Arrgh. I’m about ready to quit. The drop rates suck and things move along before you can finish the earlier stuff. Should be fun not stressful.

I can only conclude that this event is an experiment by TinyCo to see how far they can push players into spending clams. By the looks of the leaderboard, some people must be spending a fortune, which is fine if they can afford it. This might be a short term success for TinyCo, but I think they are going to lose a lot of players over this mess of an event, just my opinion.
I’m in my game all day & night and have gotten nowhere, being locked out for 5 days didn’t help either. All I do is wait to get masks to hire Luchadors, then hire them, then wait again, then clear gurl scouts that drop Nothing. I give up, this event needs to go away. This is also the first event I have not, and will not spend any clams.
I don’t plan on deleting my game, but do not forsee spending money on it anymore. I still enjoy coming to this site for the good info & advice, but this event is horrible and just too overwhelming, for me anyway.

I completely agree. I usually spend money on the bigger events but this time I passed. Thankfully I didn’t encounter any huge stability issues. However, it’s just not fun. It feels like there are different groups of developers working on different parts and they aren’t talking to each other. Plus QA (Quality Assurance, i.e. testing) seems to be an afterthought. This has been an ongoing concern and I’m not seeing any progress.

I tryed to upgrade my Mansion but it won’t let me give me a piece of paper at the side and it says upgrade but it has upgraded for 2 days and then I get the guy with a mask and he’s running around loose but they won’t let me do nothing with him what am I supposed to do with him when he’s running around loose

So… Attempting to decipher what it is you are saying.
I assume the “Piece of Paper” is Lifestyles of the Rich, which needs the Mansion Upgraded.
As far as a guy running around with a mask? You got me on that one. Maybe a little more details would help on that one. Unless you are referring to a Luchador, that is used to take down Girl Scouts… of which you need two of them ready.
As for the Update, my best suggestion is tell me what the exact names and Part #s are of the tasks you DO have open in your Task Menu. We can start there. 😉

I am so far behind in this event. Not only am I having the tuba problem, but now the golf balls are not dropping either. To me, this event, to this point, has been more frustrating than Star Trek.

Since t-co can’t be bothered to help us make up for lost crash time, I’m boycotting clam purchases for this event and resigned to falling further behind. I did the same thing, but logging on this morning and cookie crumbles part 3 completed straight away, not sure if it was another action that did it though.

I have a problem I can’t get the tubas for Cleveland jr now cause every time I do it I get the shirts u need for the new Chinese guy are they going to fix this it’s allredy hard enough to get the tubas without the shirts so now it’s tuff

Shirts are common, tubas are uncommon… so you will now see them alternate. So in those empty spaces where nothing but cookies and rep dropped, you will now see a shirt at times instead. 🙂

Oh well, I’ll have more than enough by the time I have the materials, especially given that I have to rely on the Girl Scouts. I had the buildings last time to help unlock the characters, annoys me as it seems I need these ones more.

I’d like to know if there is some kind of strategy that I’m missing… I mean about hiring goons, luchadores, and that stuff. I’ve been playing almost every 2-3 hours… 4 hours the max while I wait for more to be ready, but somehow I can’t manage to get all the stuff needed for this event. Trucks, golden trucks… Cookie girls and Consuela or Cleveland’s Casino all using the same in different amounts, seems way too much for me… It takes too long to hire them and so many needed that I’m not sure this was planned through any logic. So… any advice?? any pattern or strategy about this?
I’ll wait for the WTD section to rant about it… but now I’m only desperate and tired… please, HELP!!!

Some tips coming. Just takes time to put it all together in a post. Especially with changes around every corner and new ways added weekly. Kinda hard to say “do this” to have something else change it to “now do this instead”. 😉

That depends on how they are “Used” and if they are “Abused”. Hopefully the higher cost points will help to curb a lot of that. But at the same time, if someone REALLY wants to spend that much money on Clams and Cookies just for one Prize… let them. Only THEIR pocket book will hurt in the end. 😉

That means every player isn’t on a level playing field (which is true already due to the hedges) as not everybody was given the same opportunity to eventually spend their cookies on the same thing?

I’m fully updated in the App Store and I still can’t upgrade either. Even more annoying is Cookie Crumbles part 7 is stuck in a continuous loop that never clears and is making it so that I can’t put Peter on a task because the stupid exclamation point won’t go away so clicking on him just send the dialogue back into a loop. I’ve messaged TinyCo about it several hours ago and went back into my game to see if there was a reply from them. Not only was there no reply, but all of my messages that I’ve sent them over the past several days regarding all of the other bugs and glitches I’ve experienced were also gone and the only message showing there was one I sent to them back in early May! TinyCo needs to get it together. I think I’m about to break free from this “addiction”….

From what you know so far about the Fort Nox raids and the Takanawa raids, which one is the better deal to go for with hiring times for the goons and the resulting mob payout? Which gives better mob rep for the hiring time invested?

Mine still are… you sure you are NOT pulling them out of storage? If you store them… it will pull them from there first. So keep them ALL out til you have what you want… then put more in.

I’m stuck on part 8 of the cookie crumbles questline. I’ve updated to version 1.9.5 and finished Peter’s 8 hr task and the building placement, and it just tells me to check back soon to upgrade. I’ve submitted a ticket but I have no faith in TinyCo to reply with anything more than a form letter, at least not in time to help. Any advice from you ladies?

So… did you upgrade to the new stuff BEFORE completing Part 8 and placing Geronimo’s? If so, you need to reach out to them. They are working on it. But it helps to see those impacted. Otherwise…wait. They are aware of it.

I updated my game when I was on cookie crumbles part 8 with everything done except for the mansion upgrade. Though I guess it’s not really an issue, since apparently the patch is out already. Now I’m on week 3, though Fort Nox seems to be broken. Absolutely nothing happens when I tap it. Oh well, at least one thing fixed, hopefully they get this next one fairly soon too…

I see that I’m not the only one who has reported losing Rep. I wish TinyCo would at least let people know that they’re looking into this, because it’s made a huge difference in not only my ranking but my ability to get the individual prizes. I shouldn’t have to screenshot my game every hour just in case there’s a glitch, but that’s unfortunately what I’m doing.
This event has been miserable for me so far, but I may do something I swore I’d never do and buy the premium building that drops Mr. Washee’s items. I still only have 9 tubas, I’m 30 boxing gloves from Cleveland, and I can just barely keep up with the new raids. Even logging in every hour, I don’t have the time or goons to spare to attack Fort Knox or the Couriers (once I trigger them). I don’t know how other people are staying afloat unless they’re spending clams like crazy.

Yes, I’m on iOS and updated yesterday. I noticed the Rep loss after I opened the updated app. I can’t swear that the updated app was the trigger, but I’m not sure what else could have caused a glitch like that.

I am curious due to someone else said they noticed a change when it updated…almost as if some of their work was not saved before it switched. That is why I asked. May be something to point out to them when you write in.

Has TinyCo commented that it intended for the acquisition of Cleveland Jr to be a two- or three-week task? I know that’s what they wanted with some of the Star Trek characters and mentioned it when the Cleveland skin was introduced in this event. It would seem that they hadn’t intended it that way since they are trying to use Cleveland Jr in mandatory questlines. So it begs the question that after 14 months of changing things in the middle of events when it has recognized an error, why so slow to the punch this time? Like I am sure most players, I had everything needed within a couple of days … except the tubas. These tuba drops have been anything but uncommon based on how uncommon drops have dropped in previous events. Including after stating that they had changed. And now those same gurl scouts will drop a common item as well? It just doesn’t make any sense at all other than further alienating players. It’s their game and they need to pay the bills, but the game isn’t playing the way THEY set out for it to play. That can’t be the fault of the players.

Here is the thing… I am seeing MANY Players report Tuba drops are increasing. So why some are seeing it and not others is beyond us. All we can say is let them know if the “Increase” did not help you.

Thanks Bunny. I guess it is increasing for me since I got one today and it usually took two days to get one. If someone considers one uncommon drop per day (out of at least eight tries) the proper ratio. The rare items for the character came considerably prior to the uncommon ones. And in considerably less tries. I can message them again from my game but considering I still have star trek and firemen comments in my queue that have gone without response, I am not holding much hope that they are even paying attention to me.

Personally, it isn’t so much that the actual drops are slow. The thing that is more frustrating is that the one means to get the tubas (Luchadors) are also needed by other items in the game (mansion raids and now ft nox). They are also slow to get and the various tasks require so many.

Its obvious from the questlines in both week 2 and week 3 that Cleveland Jr was supposed to be a one week task. However, Tiny Co failed miserably at the math (very common occurrence for them and after a year of the game absolutely pathetic). 20 tubas requires 40 luchadores. Assuming 25% drop rate (nowhere near that in actuality) that means you need to train 160 luchadores at an hour apiece. That is 6 2/3 days. That assumes you can keep up on masks (you can’t as a freemium player as you could only get 3 every 4 hours). With all the other parts of the questline, other goons to train and the 25% drop rate assumption it was IMPOSSIBLE to do. I did the math in 3 minutes. Tiny Co. didn’t bother to do the math at all. Again if it was the first time, I could give them a pass, but it is not – not by a long shot. Everything should be an always drop – at least then we know we are making progress and how long it will take.

Place Geronimo’s Place- Earned by clearing the Casino 3 time
Cookie Crumbles Part 8- Pending
Upgrade to the Fatfather’s Lavish Mansion
Game HAS to say it is Version 1.9.5 in the App Market (Android, Apple, ect).
Once that was all complete… the Mansion showed the Upgrade Icon… You tapped the Icon… it completed Part 8… new content progressed.
If you are seeing anything different and have task and Geronimo Palace placed in your game AND have the 1.9.5 Update live but still no Upgrade… message them.

Hi, I cannot upgrade the mansion. I even tried using 17 clams to finish cookie crumbles 8 ( except upgrade mansion, cause it won’t let me) because things aren’t working quite right. I thought I earned the jackpot sign too, but may be mistaken about that one. Anyway what do I need to do? Stumped. I thought just going thee to upgrade was all. I updated as far as it would let me

Again… not really something that should go on a “helpful” post that we put up to guide players through the new content. More for where players voice their thoughts and ideas of things they would like in the game (though yours has WTD mixed in). The ONE POSTS we direct TinyCo too. “Helpful” posts are just for that… helping fellow players with the basics of game play and getting through the content of the game. 😉

I know… that is why we try and redirect. It gets tiring. Think of it this way… if YOU came here looking for help… what comments would help YOU out to progress through the game. Then think of that when making your own comments. If more would follow it and the Guidelines… less would be moderated. But then that may make it easier on us, heaven knows that’s not what people want to do. 😛 😉

What were you circumstances regarding Consuela (bought/not) before you unlocked her skin and did anything happen if you already had her character??
Ps do you know how to start the zen quest line, do you need to have prior ones finished maybe?

I started in BETA. I had her for 600 Clams. So I just got the skin. With her house being needed as part of the questline, I assume the package comes with that too as it is part of her originally anyway. Can’t really have her without her house. 😉
Zen is the Takanawa’s. Just have to start the Upgrade on the Mansion and the new Main Questline, Good to be a Gangster.

If you are indeed missing it, report it so they can look into it.
As far as Rankings… everyone just got options for a HUGE boost in them with the new items. So everyone will jump up depending on who buys what and how many. I know I just jumped almost 10K Mob Rep now.

Man….i am so not having fun with this event. Im torn between staying atop the ladder or go down because i want the lower ladder prize. It suck cuz i spent a lot already and feel like i just wasted a lot if i go down. And i totally didnt mean to offend anyone cuz i know that sound so snobbish.

TUBAS!!! I’m one of these people that plays every hour and will get up in the middle of night, yet I only have 8 tubas. I also missed the first weekly quest, Speed Feed, because I didn’t complete the 3rd casino raid. I also spend clams. Immensely frustrating event.

After I reported the tuba thing tinyco 2 days ago they replied yesterday that thanks to people reporting it they upped the drop rate. I then got 3 in row and unlocked Cleveland jr so they must have done something. On another note anyone know why the mobsters wives salon has a lock on it?

I have been trying to contact Tinyco about the Totally Legal Entreprenour Conference Room not unlocking in my town for days now, but everytime I try to send a message, a red exclamation mark pops up and says not sent – try again? Now I have no way of contacting them. What can I do? Thanks a ton for your help!

And were you looking at the SECOND Conference Room? Many of us had a SECOND one locked in there after we placed the first one. They have since removed the SECOND one as it was not intended for game use to have two. 😉

I am still working on the tuba’s like many are, but after upgrading my manor, when I click on the girl scouts, the screen showing what they should drop is blank. I used 4 luchadors to take out two of them, and got shirts for Mr. Washee Washee instead. Is this a bug where I can’t get tubas anymore, or is it going to randomly drop either nothing, shirts, or tubas?

Shirts are Common, so you will see them more. Tubas are Uncommon, so less of them. Then any “blank” spots you will just see Cookies and/or Mob Rep Drop.

Wow, tinyCo use the same character for two different drops for two different characters despite knowing thousands of people are frustrated by the Tuba drop problem that they themselves created. Sounds about right, its almost like they never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever learn.

Bunny, what do you find is the best way to increase mob rep? I have a ton of cookies, as I have two machines, the 700 clam one, and the one from the mystery box. I did buy a bunch of those cherry trees this morning, but after buying about 20, they were not available in the menu anymore. What did you spend 20k cookies for mob rep on? I’m aiming for the silver house, but it’s gonna be close. I didn’t buy any of the shrubs in the beginning, so I think a lot of people got a big head start there.

The Oragami’s, Cherry Blossoms, and Bamboo. All put out a good amount of Mob Rep. Also Fort Nox. For just sending one Goon, you can get a good amount of Mob Rep there too. Girls the most… but a decent amount.
Also, watch the Menus. Some will jump from event to Decorations. Also, if you store an item… it will stop letting you buy them and pull them out of storage until that is done. Haven’t checked just yet on caps on them.

Ha what a suprise, Tiny Co making chages without thinking them through.
They made the change to let people get past stage 2 without unlocking Jr, but forgot about the fact that the casino is needed to unlock jr and also an item from 3 star casino is needed to advance other quests.
Not only is the tuba rate still pitifully low, we now need lunchadors in even higher quantaties to advance through events in stage 3.
I’m done with these cowboys.
