Here’s mine for this week:
–WHAT THE DEUCE….every time I have multiple Gold Cookie Trucks in my game…the game crashes! And when I reload the I lose out on the second truck, only ones there. Not cool man!
–WHAT THE DEUCE….what’s with drivers once the weather turns nice? It’s like they suddenly forgot how to drive or they’re in their own little world. People I don’t care what time of the year it is…just drive your car correctly.

Biggest what the deuce ever from me
I’m a long term customer that buys clams sporadically and 3 days ago I was bitterly shocked and dissapointed to find out I’d been wrongly banned from the leaderboards
I may of bought 50-75 hedges early on but that would have only boosted my rep by 225 maybe (I’m at nearly 10,000) so wouldn’t have made a big impact
I’m still waiting for them to reply back. I’m really hoping its a mistake and they can lift the ban. But if they ban me for tactically playing the game well, by using a feature THEY added, they will most definitely never get another penny/cent out of me
What a horrible, horrible thing to do to a loyal paying customer

First, good – love this site! Also, encouraged by ya’ll here I sent an in game message when stressed about the 24 hour event last week, and when they responded tinyco was really awesome & helpful.
But, umm my WTD is fort nox – knocked it over the first time but can’t clear the 75% damage box (25%, 50%, and take down all cleared). My nox is now rebuilt but I’m holding off sending goons to destroy it cause I’m guessing that’s a different part of the quest line. I see it’s a common problem, I hope they fix it soon.

My WTD is how in the WORLD is Pretty Fist over 100k above everyone else? What sort of exploits is he using that nobody else is privvy to? He obviously used the hedges to his advantage early on, but until a day or two ago he wasn’t getting any serious gains. Now this is just ridiculous.

Constant crashing. That’s it. I can get past the shameless cash grabs. I can look past the Tubas, now dropping at a rate of once in a never. (Don’t build for Mr. Washee Washee until you have the tubas) I can get past the small glitches and lags… but I cannot stand the fact that I’m averaging less than 2 minutes of game play before it crashes again. Also, it deletes my homescreen background. WTD?!

WTD?? Why werent the organizers of events at TinyCo replaced after the debacle that was the Star Trek event? Its pretty clear the people in charge are not capable of doing their job effectively.

Wait, what? The Star Trek event was the best event ever, and the only part of the game that has well-designed graphics.
I was thinking the must have fired everyone after Star Trek, because this is a major drop in quality.

was using this event as one final do I stick with the game or leave it for something else…. Thought it was just me, but it appears that Tinyco has chosen to not listen to use about the errors. I’m about a week behind where I should be with regular gameplay, and it appears that I’m not that far behind the normal players… WTD!

I’d already posted this yesterday on a previous WTD but I’m doing it again on the current one 🙂 with a couple of tweaks & omissions so I don’t offend anyone

I’m now beyond the level of “fed up with this game”, I’m in the land of “shove it where the sun don’t shine”, the concepts good don’t get me wrong (I’ve played it long enough) but I’m now sick and tired of:
The glitches:
– every event has to be more complicated than its predecessor, resulting in endless problems, crashes, re-do’s of tasks, patches, apologies from TinyCo and umpteen “hang on in there, don’t worry” messages from you 2 fantastic ladies who are doing a sterling job 😉
“Idle” characters, either paid for or gained for free:
– they’re hardly ever/never used again so just sit festering & decaying in my inventory or wandering aimlessly round my overcrowded Quahog like a horde of Zombies, if I wanted to see that I’d go down my local boozer on a Saturday night
Overpriced stuff:
– There are way too many buildings & characters that are far too expensive, & yes before you all say it “It’s our choice to buy or not to buy”
I know we’re not forced into spending hard earned cash, it’s our option, but how are we expected to progress far enough if we only rely on the freebie drops which never drop, TUBAS!!!!!!!!
Tasks relying on tasks, or multiple quests relying on the same stuff:
– I need Goons for this & Goons for that, Luchadors for this & Luchadors for that.
Now I need Goons & Luchadors to take down Fort Knox, but I also need them to unlock Junior by beating up girl scouts trundling little wooden trucks round Quahog like the rag & bone men from the brilliant “Steptoe & Son” but they DON’T drop the Tubas.
And…..I also still need them to hijack golden trucks that are meant to appear for 4 hours, once every 24 hours so I can get fight promoter Cleveland but now I’ve got 4 of them driving round like Crunchie bars with wheels, &
No doubt I’ll need them for that Oriental Takeaway Garden thingy that suddenly replaced the Casino, I ain’t ventured in there yet for fear of Goon & Luchador hell!!!!
The Leaderboard:
– Hah don’t get me started on that one, the concept may have sounded good in the mind of the TinyCo developer but it’s caused no end of frustration, disbelief, anger and calls of “cheat” from EVERY person who’s playing the game
No offence meant but nearly 212,000 hats, are you serious!!!!!, & with no dig intended at you 2 ladies, the message “don’t fret or worry about it, TinyCo are policing it” is wearing thin now
Well, my long rant is over, I’ve lost all interest in this event and maybe even the game, I hope everyone “enjoys” the game and gets what they can from it without spending too much loot

I’ve never written to you guys before but have been kind of keeping up with what people say since probably aroubd the Halloween event but I feel I have to be another voice in this discussion. Ever since the Christmas event, Tinyco have made it no secret that you probably won’t get all the items, like they mostly did for previous events, without spending a lot of money on clams. These past two events have been ridiculous in this aspect as all the premium stuff is not only expensive, but helps get you items that are supposed to be fremium. If this game has done anything recently it’s reassured my commitment to TSTO as I think they are really capitalizing on the fact that tinyco had been very greedy recently. I realize this game is freemium and I have an option to buy things, but when you can’t get through an event without putting real money into it, it isn’t really fair to everyday players. I’ve been playing TSTO and FGTQFS since day one and so far TSTO is the only one that has really evolved in how they handle events for the players (ie: broken Xmas wheel as a prize for those who despised the wheel in the previous Xmas event). Games are supposed to be fun, not a chore. Thanks for all you guys do here.

I use to enjoy this game, now I am this close to uninstalling it. NOT ENOUGH LAND!!
There should be enough space to display everything you have, except maybe holiday items. When they do open more land they make you fill it with new crap right away.

I know I’ve asked this before but can you please post the link again about turning off the brewery? I Swear I have done everything required and still can get it to stop and it’s starting to screw with me completing tasks. Thanks, much love, you gals are still awesome!

You have to craft every item. Multiple times. If you’ve crafted them all when you tap on the brewery nothing will happen, if you haven’t the craft list will popup.

Like with, I believe it was Halloween or Christmas, one needed to create at least one of all items to finish off the completion. The Brewery should have been the same, including possibly an option to keep crafting or be done with it, turning the brewery to a decoration immediately. Forcing players to keep creating junk for inventory just to get rid of the collection jobs is just bad design and terribly annoying.

wtd: is anyone missing the old school way to collect stuff? I sure miss to send characters into tasks, instead we have goons, luchadores, dancers, scout girls, delivery boys! give us a break tinyco. All im seeing is a big eff you to freemium players (like me), heck.. even to premium players too!! I do miss the old events like comic-con or halloween. This event is not only broken but its premium exclusive in my opinion. Do something about the tubas!! I have up to 20 characters in my inventory doing nothing, give us the chance to use some of them to unlock stuff instead these luchadores: why using 2 to clear girl scouts??? even in the animation you only see one doing all the work. Im a day 1 player but this is beyond frustrating. Seriously: do something tinyco!!

I’ve stopped trying to get the Cleveland skin. I have him in the game, but I don’t need yet ANOTHER pointless skin even if it will “help” during this hideous event. Too few drops, too many tasks. It all stretches our limited resources pathetically thin. WTD, Tiny Co???? What you’re doing is terrible. And that’s not even considering all of the crashes and lackluster support. Can’t wait to take the survey for this “event”.
P.S. Thanks for letting us vent, ladies! You really do a good job here.

WTD?! I feel like I’m playing the Star Trek event all over again… I enjoyed the first week of the event, but then they put huge amount of items with insane drop rates to unlock the characters /outfits while being overwhelmed by other things that all use the same characters at the same time… I enjoyed last year’s events, but the last couple events are just practically impossible to complete without buying a lot of clams. It’s a shame because I enjoyed this game a lot…

Not quite sure if I am allowed to critizise the blog runners, but here goes: As much as I like your upbeat and enthusiastic approach, sometimes I miss the “cons”. Maybe it is just my interpretation, but for example the post on Mr. Miyagi reads more like “buy him, he’s awesome” than a critical analysis. But maybe it is not supposed to be. And I really hope you are not offended, because I still appreciate all your info and the work you put into maintaining this blog.

Had the 24 hour task for the jackpot sign tell me I needed to get past one level of the Cleveland mission from that week done. The upgrade happened before I could complete that, and instead have the current Asain themed area. Instead of giving me the prize for completing everything including 1 level of the Asian area, it gave me nothing and the timer ran out. Not that I really cared that much for something that eventually will go to inventory any ways, but what the heck?

WTD: Upon starting “Destroy Fort Nox Pt. 2,” Fort Nox shows as an under-construction sandlot. (I guess maybe there’s damaged versions they forgot to upload?) Also, since I started Pt. 2 already having given Fort Nox 25% damage, the first job in the quest won’t tick off. 50% has a checkmark, but both 75% and 25% (which seem to be in the wrong order) have a green “Go” button. I’m concerned this means I won’t be able to complete the quest.

I had the same issue with 25% – I sent them a message and they fixed it but now I’m having the same issue with 75% (I destroyed it and got credit for that but 75% still says go and it won’t move to part 3 of the quest line) I sent them another message – we’ll see if they fix it…

Don’t even know where to start this week!
1. What’s up with the tubas? I am at 8/20 and they seem to have stopped dropping completely. I get cookies only or shirts for Mr. Washee from the Girl Scouts. Not cool, especially since:
2. Cleveland Jr. is needed to progress in the main questline “Good to be a Gangster”. Stuck at part 1 due to (see point 1.)
3. Fort Nox. I have a quest “Destroy Fort Nox Pt. 2” asking me to do different percentages of damage to Fort Nox. I am currently at 45/125 remaining, and the in the quest only the 50% damage is ticked off. 25% is not ticked off. How did I get to 50% without getting to 25% first??? That’s just wrong…
4. Why are they adding more and more stuff to this event? I would really appreciate it if they get the stuff already in the game to work properly before adding more problems.
5. All the premium stuff is again way to expensive. Premium stand alone characters are never less than 200 clams. Cookie building for 700 clams – that’s more than 20 Euros for one building which is completely useless after the event. And yes, I know, I don’t have to buy it. Thing is, I don’t even want to any more. Right now, I rather spend my money on TSTO, way better value for your money. Way better animation, too…
6. Minor point, but: the animation for all the event stuff is done rather poorly. The trucks keep backing into or through buildings, through each other or pedestrians. They can’t turn corners, either, they just sort of jump around them. The Goons are not running along the street, just gliding without moving their legs at all.
Maybe I am getting to old for this stuff, but it is just too much going on in this event. In my opinion Tinyco should have done less but with better quality. At the moment I just wish it would be over already.

I’m right there with you!! #1 I only have 6/20 tubas, after almost a week of just concentrating on gurl scouts. My drops are only shirts right now. #2 At this rate I’ll never get off week 3. #3 I’m at 35/125 on Fort Nox and only my 50% task is checked off. I’m using goons to knock it down because I need tubas to progress, we’ll see what happens when I complete it in a few hours. (Is it just me or are the numbers all wonky on that one?) #4 Do we really need more stuff to do when so many people have been locked out? I wasn’t, but I still can’t catch up do to the tuba drops sucking!! #5 doesn’t bother me, I rarely pay attention. #6 I get to waste today building things to drop high heels for the show girls to start the next raid considering the build times are 8 and 10 hours and the drops are every 6 and we need several to progress. (I’m not spending real money on this game for stuff that will not help me after the event!!!)

#3. The checkmarks are percentage remaining to destroy it. So at 45/125 you’ve destroyed 50% of it but not 25% yet.
A wtd for me:
#5. Everything is waaaay too costly for a game of this style. I’ve played multiple sub-based mmo games in the past that cost $15/month. Those are immersive, hands-on, ‘massive’ games where you’re controlling your characters to do basically whatever you feel like for months/years. Those may sell any number of things for real money that give you so much use. This game charges similar amounts and more for things that may be useful for days during an event and all you can do is look at the stuff. Personally, I find it very wasteful to spend a lot of money on a game of this style.

After I got to 75% destruction the 25% damage task got ticked off. Very confusing… Still, if it is the wrong way round, the 75% damage task should have been ticked off before the 50%. But that one still sits there, even after I completely destroyed the thing.

The mob event was going to be my “one more try” and after the transition into week 3 I’m done. Six different attempts to get tubas and nothing. A game is supposed to be fun, this one isn’t. I’m OK spending money on a game, but it has to have a good ROI – this one doesn’t. It’s not worth the effort anymore. So…have fun all.

Tubas, man. Tubas more than anything else. It’s way past time to make them always drops and/or have a character task drop them.
And companies should at least show some courtesy and send out a “we’ll be with you as soon as possible message” when you report a problem so that you don’t have to guess if someone got it or if your messages are falling into a black hole.

How is possible to wipe out more than 15 scout girls and having only 3 tubas? those eyeballs we’re a lot easier… to mention now you also need scout girls to unlock this asian new guy. Too much! I have spent over $100 real dollars on this event only to watch my rank slip slide away (maybe I’m not playing the smartest). I thought the Star Trek event was complicated but this one has my head spinning. Also I have asked TC to include a way to voluntarily disable rent collection on buildings as I am tired of continually tapping buildings (I think $2.2 mil in coins is enough). Still enjoying though, but resigned to accepting 3rd or 4th prize at end.

Yes, a couple million times YES. Being able to turn off rents with the exception of Event buildings (during event) and any building dropping an item would be really great. I don’t bother collecting most of the time any more.

WTD! – I just hate this event, but mostly I hate that everything has been event after event. There is no regular game anymore and I’m burned out. I can say that I now HATE the game. I’ve discouraged friends to install it just because of recent events events… events. It’s not fun anymore.
Zillions of coins with no use at all. Always a new currency to collect from zero, and needed in millions. Tasks and payout rates are not fair, not even enough to complete what we need to pay (buildings and skins together)
LONG and unfruitful techniques… again, all about collecting something, to activate another thing (with HOURS to wait for) and then see if you get the last item needed… really?? PLEASE let me know I’m not alone with this feeling!!
I hate so much that they say “you have until July to finish” and we know that’s bull-S. We need to complete everything every week if we really want to advance, otherwise it’s impossible to catch up for new releases, and again, is there a point on making things SO LONG and excessively difficult (tubas for example, golf balls for example… boxing gloves for example). The fact that upgrading to the new mansion eliminates droppings for Jr. is proof that they not even think about how long it takes to get everything… this is just mistake after mistake.
There are 70 something useless characters that could help to gather more stuff, but they always use the same ones. There is no logic on that. So let me know please If I’m missing something?? Is this about choosing only ONE thing to achieve and forget about the rest?? Let’s say… should I concentrate on sending Bonnie to get masks, instead of stuff for Tricia’s Skin??
WE NEED LAND!! and we need a game that actually can be played. Not something that crashes every 5 seconds: new content.. new crashing… more items, more crashing.
TERRIBLE premium characters. Not even interested in spending clams, especially knowing they are going to be USELESS in a few days
I’m not sure if TC read this comments and pay any serious attention to them… (I’ve sent in game messages about my thoughts) but I just can’t get the idea of having all happening at the same time. Goons, luchadores, dancers… all needed at once, in exaggerated amounts.. and again, way to long to create them. And only 6 in queue… that’s 3 hours the least only for goons. Is this really meant to be this way? Or they just send everything at once because of all the Imbe***** cheaters that hacked the game in the past?
If this is how things are going to be (since the Star trek event let’s say)…, I’m not sure that I want to play something this hustling, when I can see that the point is not letting players get the prize. It’s like a horse running towards a carrot tied to a pole.

I love how your post here was allowed and yet says everything mine did before and I got reprimanded. Favouritism I guess.
I lamented the event after event thing too. And how this used to be a fun game at your own pace with an occasional event to grab special new characters. But here, the top things to get are just skins, not even new characters. And he new characters are clam purchases. So to have the boxers, Mr Miyagi, you must buy them with real money instead of earn them and feel a sense of accomplishment. Even the fact is it should (and used it be) only a competition with yourself as to how often we play to build up levels etc. now we compete with each other? Bs. I am an addict of this game, but I’m not here to compete with any of you for a top prize. I’m here to build my Quahog and have fun.

Leaderboard Prizes! WTD!
This is yet another blatant cash grab and it really sets up a situation where those of us who can only afford a few bucks here and there for the game feel alienated and forces us to quit.
I understand the need for TinyCo and other developers to make money but premium characters or prizes should be from side quests and not impact the ability to complete the main goal / quest line or set up an unfair advantage on things like leaderboards for those who pay over those who CAN’T.
I enjoy the game play on TQFS but I’m getting tired of these situations and I’m only playing until I exhaust my current clam supply. I won’t be paying any more real cash unless I see that TinyCo makes premium items truly an “added” value and not something you are required to have in order to complete primary quest lines or compete on things like these leaderboards.
On another note, thank YOU guys for this site. Your helpful tips have actually kept me around longer than I would have otherwise. You guys must have the patience of Job to deal with all of the angry rants that come your way!

Well 3 days since the week 3 update and all I’ve done is create week 2 goons, game is becoming very boring as I can’t do anything else, and the ironic thing is this event has the most to do out of all the events I have played, the stupid thing TinyCo has done is made pretty much one thing (goons) be required to do anything!!

Every time I trying to get to tubas The Girl Scouts with the wagons do not drop them I have been trying for a week and a half and only accumulated 4 tubas out of 20 that I need to unlock Cleveland Jr I am getting so frustrated please talk to Tinyco and see if they will add more ways to get the tuba’s please

What the deuce! After the tuba fiasco of last week, this week’s unlock requires 15 “uncommon” drops from the same girl scouts, and Tricia Takanawa’s outfit is comprised mostly of ultra-rare drops??

Wtd is with these drop rates…I seriously think someone in tinyco is screwing up there stuff on purpose. I’m currently working to unlock cleaveland Jr schoolgirl outfit and stewies oompa loompa outfit. I keep getting the rares to drop but I’ve gotten 0 commons to drop and today have only seen 1 tuba out of 4 tries. I think the drops got better yesterday but this morning there insane. They need to fix it or I’m seriously thinking of deleting this game. Seriously 0 common drops and I’ve been awake 6 hours cuz my baby and dog were up already.

WTD…I’m going to have a nervous breakdown from all the things I need to do. Still trying to get tubas and masks. Now I need to get mr washee washee and defeat Fort Knox plus Tricia and her place. Ahhhh…so much going on at once.

Cleared over 15 Girl Scouts and I’ve only got 1 tuba and now that mr washee has Girl Scout drops I doubt I’ll unlock Cleveland jr before the event ends. This event is too complicated and really difficult. Also I hope cookie production will pick up soon because there’s no way I’ll be able to afford all these characters and costumes strictly because of the cookie cost. 20k for the gogo Tricia outfit is ridiculously high. Also Fort Knox seems super hard so I have the choice of using those “characters” for damage or materials not both. Also premium characters which is the only thing I spend clams on has gotten high which is why I like how miyagi is so affordable. Major props for that addition. Only negative is 8 hours for tommy gun production. Drop rates need to be lowered and values raised for this event.

Despite the brouhaha and change at the end of week two over Cleveland Jr he remains a requirement to _start_ the main week three quest. He won’t be unlocked for another week or more. And then seven more parts of the quest (many of the tasks already done) to be completed before next stage is unlocked.
Bizarre.
Sort of defeats the point of having the main quest gradually guide you through the bits and bobs.

Im so frusyrated n really pisted need clevend junior to move in in the thrid week quest i inly have 3tubas i have to take down 6 or 7 girl scouts to get one tuba also i have 16 golf balls i just took down 4 purple truck in a row n no golf ball it takes time to create these goons warehouse only creats 6 at a time aswell for a max of 9 n there needed for other things like raids,to achieve other characters,fort nox i use them to get jr. N nothing i feel im wasting time but i need him to progress. So i bought the gentelmens club or ill never finish this game im super duper upset i feel i was forced to buy it.

Also I love when tiny finally responds days (or sometimes weeks) later to a question you’ve asked with an apology and asking us if we still have any questions. OF COURSE I STI HAVE QUESTIONS YOU DIDNT ANSWER ANY! Sorry for the caps but from the amount of money that is pouring into that game this event has gone horribly.

Yep. I got an in game reply last night (I’m sure many probably did) that talked about this weeks mansion upgrade issues, and asked if that answered my question. Uh, NO. Nope. My last question was a couple days before the upgrade even happened, had nothing to do with that or even mentioned mansion or upgrade or anything else related to what the auto-message was about.
This week I also got an email from them regarding a crash report I had submitted on day 3 of the event. The email was a quick survey asking “How happy were you with our service?”. Well, TinyCo, funny you should ask….

Common dirty shirts yet I’ve only had one out of five drop. How the heck is that common?!?! All the while zero tubas dropped! How the heck is that uncommon?!? Get your stuff together tiny

I think there is a problem with the drop rate of the Gurl Scout cookie gurls. I took down 3 of them at the same time and only got one Mr. Washi Washi shirts for his quest and it says it’s a common drop. Same thing with the Cleveland Jr. drops. I’d take down a bunch of them but I only got 2 so I just used clams to finish getting him.

What the duece… I can’t get enough tubas to get poor Cleveland Junior. I only have 7/20 after all the updates Tiny Co has put in. Argh!!!!
