–WHAT THE DEUCE….every time I have multiple Gold Cookie Trucks in my game…the game crashes! And when I reload the I lose out on the second truck, only ones there. Not cool man!
–WHAT THE DEUCE….what’s with drivers once the weather turns nice? It’s like they suddenly forgot how to drive or they’re in their own little world. People I don’t care what time of the year it is…just drive your car correctly.

Family Guy Addicts 
WTD!!! Umm pretty much feeling like I had really high expectations for this game since the show is fricken sweet…but super disappointed. I’m still stuck on Cleveland jr but then my mansion upgraded and now he’s just stuck there waving his arms like WTD! And I’ve messaged tinyco a zillion times and nothing. So I’m going to resort to deleting this crAp soon and stick with the AWESOME Simpsons tapped out instead! Deuce!!!!!

WTD, why is it that there are items that are desperately needed, tubas, skirts, etc to move forward or complete characters, and you still get a spray bottle for completing Fort Nox, even if you no longer need them? I have been knocking out Fort Know because I thought it was a waste of time to send goons after girl scouts, since the fort nox pays out more cookies and rep, but it would be nice if they offered another drop once you had all the spray bottles.

All of the crashes, delays, rare drop rates, leaderboards with crazy scores, too many tasks running all at once and all time sensitive, inaccessibility to earn goons, firemen etc…. Think about it everybody. It is to make us panic and buy clams.
Sad part is, we fall for it. Hopefully we will become wise as a mass now that Tiny Co has become so greedy with the past few events.
It’s one thing to have it be a luxury to buy a special character or item, but this is ridiculous.
I was one of many who wrote Tiny Co to ask about the tubas. I heard nothing for 3 days, then suddenly get a reply tonight, after they opened up the tuba drops. …25 tubas needed x 2 hrs each try….do that math. In the reply I was being told that so many people were saying the same thing, but they weren’t meant to drop a tuba every time… But, they had loosed up the drop rate and hoped it would help. Well, except for the fact that we still have to get Cleveland Jr.or we can’t get the next task line going.
Oh, wait! Free up the tuba drops because now we can spend clams to rush things along because now they have set up the next set of tasks.
That’s only talking about one item for one character.
Do you think they have tested the new content??? Or will we play, only to realize we spend clams or miss out?

I would like to drop a really big (what the) Duece on this event, but everything that has psst me off has already been said. So, I am going to add a real life WTD to this *itchfest.
WTD JetBlue!!!!
Scheduled a trip New York to Miami for family commitment. Left home last Tuesday at 815AM for a 1045AM flight out of LaGuardia to Fort Lauderdale. Get to LGA at 915 to find out our flight is cancelled. JetBlue has rebooked us on a flight leaving LGA to FLL at 930PM??? Go to the ticket counter and able to book a flight from JFK to FLL leaving at 245PM. Grab a taxi to JFK. Arrive about 1045. All is good.
At about 2PM, departure board shows DELAYED. New ETD is 320PM. Not bad. We leave the gate at 320 and proceed to sit on the runway for 2 hours. Take offs delayed due to thunderstorms in the area. After 2+hours we now go back to the gate. Southbound runway is now closed and we need to take on more fuel.
Once back at gate, the first preliminary departure time shows 720PM. At 650, it is now changed to 8PM. And because of hour restrictions we need to wait for a new pilot and copilot. The copilot is enroute and will arrive at 8. At 730 we are told that the copilot is having problems getting to the airport and our new ETD is 850.
We board at 830. Leave the gate at 9. By the time we take off it is 930. We could have waited at LGA for that.
Wind up. Get into FLL at midnight. Get to Miami at 130AM. Get email from JetBlue with a $75 voucher for use within the next year on any JetBlue flight. WOW!!! I CANT WAIT FOR THAT!!!
Thanks for letting me vent. The only plus out of this whole thing is that I was able to see my first grandchild the next morning. Welcome to this crazy world, Emma Danielle.

WTD: Have 9 of the “rare” skirts for Trishia but only have 5 of the “common” shirts for Washee. At this juncture why even bother labeling an item. It’s pointless and TinyCo only cares whether I’m where they feel I should be in the game anyway. This use to be a fun game. Now it’s just a monotonous, labor-intensive grind to get something that will be absolutely worthless at the conclusion of the event.

Just over a week into the Mobster event the game was having crash issues for days before TinyCo came clean and stated they were building something so we could play the game again (Thank you TinyCo it crashes a lot less now)! Does that mean that they were running something less than adequate to begin with and it was just a matter of time before the bottom was going to fall out?
The lack of tubas dropping has been an issue for as long as we’ve needed them to get Cleveland Jr, and it appears that TinyCo has done all its willing to do on that so many of us stopped wasting Luchadors trying to get them. Today I tapped on a gurl scout and a tuba wasn’t even shown as a drop possibility lol. I am stopped at Good to be a Gangster Pt. 1 and apparently won’t be able to advance next week unless I’ve completed Good to be a Gangster Pt. 8.
I appreciate that there’s been other things to do without Cleveland Jr because otherwise I would have to skip the event entirely.
I’ve been reading up on TinyCo and it’s been very informative. I’m under the impression that they have some really talented people working there who if they had their way would make numerous improvements that would not only increase revenue but make more players happy , silly that it’s not being done. I’m afraid we will be seeing more of the same.
Think about it, something as basic as land can’t be offered unless it’s opening up a new district so they get around it by calling these “Events” which never mean more land but always mean more characters, buildings and decorations. I make do with the land provided because I don’t have a choice yet I know that the “other game” is capable of providing so much more land, and something other than just road I honestly don’t know why this one won’t.
Remember when you spend your hard earned money on clams to buy characters or buildings, you don’t own them you are simply renting them for as long as you play the game or for as long as you are ABLE to play the game. It’s not as if you get to keep the character as a .gif outside of the game to look at and laugh when you feel like it.
I still say that if not for Alissa , Bunny and other Addicts I would not still be playing this game.

I’ve amazingly received two tubas today, out of three tries, even though nothing showed in the drop box before hitting raid. So don’t let the empty drop box discourage you from trying a raid. I had used a lot of luchadores to attack the fort before trying to raid Gurl Scouts today, that shift in task might have helped. Or else it was the power outage this morning…. 🙂 Oddly enough, haven’t received a shirt, just tubas or nothing today.

I’m so annoyed that every time I play it crashes and my wallpaper on my phone resets… Does that happen to anyone else..?! It’s really weird.. And then when I go back into the game I have to re do everything I just done before it crashed..!! So frustrating 🙈🙈🙈

Add me to the list of people short on tubas. I’ve spent the last 4 days just creating lurchadors and I’m still only on 13 Tubas. At this rate I might get Cleveland Jnr by Thursday, so will only just be able to complete part 1 of this week’s tasks. Not cool TinyCo, not cool. I’m not spending clams on rushing things (almost as badas spending clams on the ugly enterprise rooms), so I’ve seen my ranking drop from 6000th to 23000th. I guess others must be giving in and clamming it?

I cannot collect mob rep quick enough just got my 10 th tuba so only half way there. Haven’t been collecting boxing gloves as haven’t had time and haven’t reached the quest where I can start earning slippers yet. Considering all that I can’t imagine having time for Fort Knox! I’ve dropped 10,000 places in the leaderboard over the weekend so am at around 33000 now at this rate I’ll be outside 50000 by the weekend so I’ve decided not to care about it since I only wanted the costume and character. I refuse to stress about being behind and will just carry on but I do wish the goon queue was like the fireman’s poles and did simultaneous actions rather than one after the other.

Since people have been banned from the leaderboards just for buying “too many” decos, I find it hard to believe that #1 is cheating and getting away with it. It’s possible (I think) that they’re just spending a ton of money, and likely enjoying watching everyone else throw fits. And TinyCo wouldn’t ban someone for spending a ton of money. That’s the kind of competition they seem to be creating. Either way, I’m just focusing on the prize I want, and doing what I can to stay in that level. Why stress over 1 person? They are playing a different game at this point.

Gotta be the people making the game. Otherwise some rich mother with nothing better to spend money on. Honestly it’s a way to get people to spend money on clams cause they are making it just about impossible any other way.

Never read the WTD posts, been reading family guy quest for stuff addicts since day one. I read about 7 posts today and learned im definitely not in the minority with the issues im having. And really it wouldnt be so bad but the games been around for a while now with quite a few events and every single event theres this that needs a fix, that that needs a fix, crashes galore, etc. And the thing of it all is its basically the same issues over and over again. Im about a $20 every month or 2 player. I love getting all the characters. Think the first one i didnt get was at the end of the star trek event. Got the ones from this event as soon as they came out, but i cant even unlock cleveland junior? And timewise im sure i play more than the average. And im patient but the same thing we are all missing for him, we have about 5 other tasks we need to build thugs for which take a long time to build. Having a queue is nice but occupying the build time, 2 hours per try, for like a 1 out of 5 tries success, needing so many of them, and needing to do a bunch of other tasks with the other henchmen and such is kind of ridic. Tinyco should have it down to a science now on whats easy and whats a challenge and what is ridiculous. Weve seen them change timers and then add in more ways to get whatever item and the first couple times its like oh ok theyre still getting their feet under them but now its every single time. No one testing this stuff? Oh yeah and add in the complaint about doing stuff then the game crashing right away and the complaint about them making it a contest of who can be the most premium

Totally agree with you. I don’t believe they have game testers play through events before they’re launched. From all the Q&As, they’ve made it clear they plan events way in advance and need to stick to a schedule. That doesn’t sound like they allow time for thorough testing, correcting, and re-testing. Much less seeing how one event goes and then re-thinking and making significant changes before the next one. I do applaud their efforts for all the new ideas, since people seemed to be bored of the older templated events. And they crank out new graphics like a machine. I just think it’s too much, too fast, and in the meantime, they can’t see or respond to the long-standing bigger issues.

Coth, what you said is pretty much what I have observed, as well. The only real change I have seen is the level of vitriol and anger being expressed by the long time players, who should also recognize the patterns.
I also figure that as the problems are pretty much the same, Tinyco should have a handle on them by now. They obviously run on a tight schedule, and the quality of the game is suffering due to their rushing out a product just for the sake of rushing it out, without the necessary testing required to put out a glitch-free product. I can understand glitches occurring, because when you think about it, there are people all over the world, all playing on different devices, with different tech capabilities, but still, the last few events have been horrible for huge groups of people, and the drop issues, etc Not good practice. Hopefully they will wait a bit on putting out the next big thing until they have tested it and it works well straight out of the box.

Sad thing is… I love the setup of this event, the different things to do. But the poor execution of it all…
Bamboo bunch got me banned. Tuba droprate made me waste 90 clams, I caved in and bought out. The price of a nice beer, but it leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.

Seriously WTD!? Just curious, but how much bamboo did you buy? That’s ridiculous to ban people when there are no game limits on items. If they don’t want us to buy them, don’t put them in the (*&&*)^&^&%* game!

At least I am almost done with Stewie tasks (he’s hypnotizing the audience now). I also spoiled (?) myself and got Cleveland and am close to done with his tasks as wel. Waiting on the new buildings to build so haven’t made any progress on the new part (yet). That starts tomorrow (I hope).

And it’s been said enough times already TUBA, my new most hated instrument.
I don’t see how when everyone is complaining g TinyCo is still saying everything is right in the world.
My non-game rant is, the over coverage by national media for what is a local shooting.

You’d think TinyCo would have learnt from their mistakes in the Star Trek Event, but NO was the answer & they raise the failure bar on this one to an even more atrocious level
Each event seems to be more hell bent on forcing us to spend cash for clams otherwise we can’t progress quick enough through timed stuff, and… I’m sick & tired of hearing from everyone “it’s your option to buy, you are not press-ganged into it” well I disagree, TinyCo have the knack of tweaking stuff in each event to make it that little bit harder to earn the free stuff within the allotted times, sorry that sucks!
I know they’re a Businees and must make a profit to keep afloat, but every event is getting more complicated, longer, & more expensive to the point where I think they’re in over their heads now, & purely my opinion, are struggling to keep up with the programming. Every event is more graphically challenged, with worse drop rates than their predecessors, more glitches, & more complicated tasks & quests relying on each other that cannot be completed without spending money…. Yes I know a game has to be “challenging” but it doesn’t have to be nigh on impossible, come on TinyCo, slacken the reins a tad
I could rant all day but I believe I’m only typing what everyone else is probably thinking.
If TinyCo doesn’t sort this out then I fear for their long term survival as I can sense a lot of disgruntled players getting a bus out of Quahog with a one way ticket 😦 me for one
I’ve had it with this event, I said that in my previous post & thought no give it another go but the drop rate fiasco has finished me off now

Anybody can be affected by crashes (I’m not, thankfully, knock on cyberwood), but the big spenders won’t be affected by things such as slow drop rates. They’ll just buy their way in clams to the required goal. And they are the ones TinyCo needs to keep happy because they are the ones who really pay the bills.
The vast majority of players are freemium only or occasional clam buyers. Our function is just to spread the word enough about the game (which is still basically good) so TinyCo can net an occasional whale (people like No. 1 on the leaderboard who spend huge gobs of money). The whales actually are what makes the game profitable, not the occasional small spenders. We aren’t useless and TinyCo ordinarily is rather responsive to problems even for deadbeats like me who don’t buy clams. But the crashing problems (which have to take priority) have apparently really overwhelmed them this time. So I think they really have pushed anything else onto the back burner until other problems are resolved. Even the crazy idea of having the same character work on masks and shoes might have happened because they thought we wouldn’t really need the masks by now (which would be true if not for The Tuba Problem), since the showgirls take less time to incubate than the luchadores but have a bigger impact on the fort (12 points compared to 10).

I’m echoing other statements. I’m behind on this game because I have yet to unlock Clevland Jr. Because the drop rate for Tubas is horrible. And all the while I’m churning out luchardos I’m losing opportunities with the golden trucks. I’m trying not to be bitter and just enjoy what I can. It’s hard but I’m making it.

Hi I like many others have problems with the gurl scouts rarely dropping anything. Yes the tubas are dropping a lil more often but not like an uncommon should. And out of over a dozen tries I’ve only gotten 2 common shirts. So they obviously have the coding wrong for the gurl scouts. I’ve sent them over a dozen complaints just about changing the gurl scouts…however my WTD is with you other addicts as I read this wall so many of you are bowing down to tinyco and dumbly paying clams to auto unlock cleaveland Jr, hence the reason why tinyco WILL not fix the gurl scout drop rate. Makes me sad to read your wtd about the tubas not dropping so ur gonna give tinyco money….good job

WHAT THE DEUCE! !!!!!😠????…… I am a diehard fgqfs addict. I don’t know if it is just me, but this game is getting a little boring. I have been playing since 1 month after start. It’s just not the same anymore. I’ve been collecting clams, and buying ten dollars at a clip every now and then. I don’t know anymore. Is this game worth keeping anymore, major drain of data, clams, clams clams clams. …….. Me i dont have 99.99 for 1,000 clams…….whatever. WTFD.

Lee – I got started very late on Star Trek so never got to do a lot of things, but still enjoyed it. So you’ll still enjoy whatever you get to do. And by the time you get to the Gurl Scouts, maybe they’ll be dropping tubas faster…. 🙂 Don’t avoid Fort Nox after the casino is done, it’s fun to watch and hits accumulate (so you can send goons one at a time).

I bought Mr. Miyagi and trained 3 hitmen, but the senior gurl scuts never popped up, so now I just have 3 spots I could be using for goons that I can actually use permanently taken up. So apparently there is a mission I need to complete that we weren’t told about?

It takes me almost 20 minutes to put everyone back on tasks. Game (after update for ios) still crashed every 2-3 minutes, then I have to put everyone on their tasks, AGAIN, and again, and again, and again…. And only 6 out of 20 tubas. Hasn’t is been a week or so now of trying to get tubas?? Really?

Wow!!! Maybe I don’t read the WTD? column often enough, but I’m amazed at the number and frequency of almost identical complaints. All justified, I think. But if you really want to send them a message, protest with your wallets and keep them far away from Tiny Co. Clearly they’re concerned only about our money, and don’t deserve any of it.

I think TinyCo only responds to player issues if they are premium players. I have noticed that the more a person pays to play, the better TinyCo resolves issues. As a freemium player they stopped responding to messages in February.

I paid over 100$ during the Star Trek event (mostly cause I like Star Trek as well…) and did drop 20$ at the very start of this… totally not worth it! I have filed multiple “feedbacks” and “glitches” but to no avail. They don’t reply to current customers either. (I had one, but it was kinda generic and for the trucks that everyone had issues with…)

My fear with the problems with Tuba drops and Cleveland Jr isn’t that they are treating the character as a money grab but that the challenge is “broken” and that have no clue how to fix it. It’s been a week of complaints from almost all players about the drops and they tried to keep a task of his in the “Cookie Crumbles” questline and now a task of his in the first part of the “Good to be a Gangster” questline. They thought the challenge was fine or they wouldn’t keep having his tasks in questlines. And they haven’t done anything visible to assist — add a task to drop tubas, lower the number, etc. — because even though now they know it is broken, they keep hoping it will fix itself. When the shooting challenge for the Quagmire skin was completely broken in the Star Trek event, they made a new easier task with the new upgrade and people got the skin almost immediately. They appear to not have the first clue how to fix what they have done. When was the last time an uncommon drop took 10-plus days to collect 20 items? And most people don’t even have half of the 20 through the 10 days.

Remember that ruined one day event for “TONS of mob rep?” It was Speed Feed Diabeto. It came out so soon after they finally fixed the Android crashes problem that lasted for days that it was impossible to get enough wrestlers masks to defeat gurl scouts…even with Mike Tyson! Diabeto was busy half that day with a required task, had to finish quests just to unlock the buildings to send Bonnie/Diabeto to for the mask, then it says Diabeto had to be level 5 to participate…(Which they conveniently changed later on to not need!). I missed it by one freaking gurl scout!! If not for the few days I couldn’t play because if the Android crashes glitch, it would have been fine :-(. Tinyco, it felt like I was being punished twice for having an Android device! It doesn’t look like I have a chance for Don Corleone in the prizes, sigh 😦 Anyway, they didn’t take into account how their own glitches were affecting players and made a bad situation worse for the leaderboard rankings.

What the deuce? In the quest to unlock Cleveland Jr., I’m blasting gurl scouts left and right for days. The drop rate for the tubas are horrible. 7 in 4 days of blasting. The drop rate is “very rare” not “uncommon”.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP !!! I play offline [some reason when I DL’d the game, it didnt connect to facebook] and I opened up all of D8 [all space cleared, all stores put up] Stewie is out of Funland, quest for him all complete and he is now at level 10. Then opened up Badass Meg, completed ALL tasks for her and she is now done. Problem is: I HAVE NO QUEST LEFT TO DO. It is empty. I have NO way to open up D9, and no quest. Does anyone know what happened or what I can do??? Im totally stuck and its driving me crazy !! Thank you !!

I haven’t been able to load this game for about three days on my Kindle Fire. The start bar fills up, goes blank, then back to my home screen. I’m reading all the blogs and know there are major issues with Amazon, but where is the patch and how do I get to it? I have automatic updates in my apps. I’ve taken several games off my Kindle too. Only have about 4 now, so that is not the issue at all. Thank you!

I have automatic updates as well, but for some updates, you HAVE to go to the app store. Look up the game in the store; see if the orange button says “update” or “open”. This last update I had to do manually.

I saw that Tiny Co earlier switched out part of the BREWERY quest due to conflicting drops…..why can’t they do that ALWAYS !!! I don’t know why I send MEG out to do a gangster task and she comes back with worthless brewery labels etc. !!! In a timed event- time is of the essence !!! you are wasting her/my/everyone’s time !!! Kill the Brewery !!!!

Ha, yea right? Why is everything taking soooo long for Cleveland Jr? I almost have Cleveland’s boxing manager skin and Tricia Takanawa is getting done super fast but Cleveland Jr is probably going to be the reason I can’t get through the questline to upgrade the mansion for next week

I’ll add another WTD?! at Gurl Scouts now dropping items for another character. TinyCo know people were locked out for days, TinyCo know people are struggling with Tuba drops and they know Cleveland Jr is needed for the weeks questlines but went ahead with it anyway. Some of us are going to still be trying for Tubas by the time the next update hits.
A separate WTD?! at those Tubas, I notice they’re “uncommon” but 15 clams each while the other “uncommon” is the golf balls at 8 clams each, that strongly suggest to me that TinyCo have made the Tubas twice as rare despite using the same “uncommon” tag. It’s about time they standardised the drop rates instead of changing them for every single event. It says something when “extra rare” drops far more often than “uncommon”.

Given the horrible drop rate for tubas, the one thing I was looking forward to today was unlocking Cleveland’s promoter outfit – only 10 gloves left! But WTD…the gold trucks have suddenly vanished! Really? Really?! I need 2 gold trucks to achieve something in this lousy event, and the mechanism I need disappears? WTD, man. W.T.D.

WTD at these comments?! First, mostly everyone is making valid comments that a lot of players are feeling across the board. Tuba drops are irritating, the amount of cookies for Tricia is a lot, the amount of goons needed to finish some tasks is super difficult… I agree with it all. But, I don’t agree with how everyone is bashing the game for not being a cake walk. I personally enjoy the fact that it is a difficult challenge and not something where I can unlock a character after 2 hours of game play. That would make the game super boring. This event is challenging just like the Star Trek event, which they again didn’t hand everything to everyone on a platter. I’m also a fan of the leaderboard. Of course those of us playing the game without paying for clams are going against those that do, but it adds an additional challenging aspect to the game. Different dynamic. Overall, I’m not doing spectacular in the game, had to spend a chunk of my earned (not bought) clams on Cleveland Jr, I’m ranked around 20,000, but I’m still enjoying the event. If everything was super easy, then I think much more people would be leaving the game. So, the one positive comment to Tiny Co, I say keep with the challenging tasks (maybe tone it down a tad bit LOL)!!!

WTD I check in at least 8-12 times a day and yet I still am at 6 tubas, I get cookies from the Girl Scouts more than anything else. Also while trying to make primarily the wrestlers it becomes impossible to make things like the show girls and wise guys this event won’t stop screwing me because now the Girl Scouts also drop the stupid shirts
What can I do 😦

Look I get it. They want to make money so Cleveland Jr is basically a premium character but they are using the ‘freemium’ style of marketing to make you feel desperate and coin. Those tubas make it impossible. They should just be honest and mart them as extra rare. Having him in any questline will stop just about everyone in their tracks at that point. Glad I stopped spending real money. They are going the way of Kixeye with this. Best of luck too them but never one more penny from me.

Really annoyed about the gurl scout/luchador drops. 10 hours worth of luchadors and only 1 shirt to show for it, no tubas. The mob rep payout on gurl scouts is very inefficient too, 2 luchadors only gives 10 rep. Not gonna bother creating them unless TinyCo actually fixes them.

WTD! Why was there no warning message in the game about not upgrading the mansion until “speed feed diabeto” mission was complete?? I already upgraded the mansion making this mission impossible to complete since one of the tasks was to takedown Clevelands first optional raid. It’s a shame because the description says I would have earned a TON of mob rep. Does anyone know exactly how much mobrep was earned from this mission?

Probably because the raid area has changed each time the mansion had been updated, so they assumed people would realize that and hold off on upgrading the mansion until all necessary raids were done.

WTD?? I have not received ANY response to my support requests for months. Nothing from a Nature Week issue, nothing from multiple Star Trek problems, and now 0 replies for this event going back to June 3rd. I have lost many clams, game progress, etc. but they simply do not give a shoot. I read here that some p!layers get responses and a few even have open dialogue with TinyCo. Is there some secret I am not aware of that gets a reply? Could someone share now they received help??
With many players reporting being banned for buying hedges and speeding up challenges, all I can say is if they ban players, then they should return the money those players spent for this event. One couild easily argue a return of. ALL money spent up to the ban point since the criteria is so shady.
Also, TREMENDOUS kudos to Bunny and Alissa for spending a ton of money just to get game info out to us. How long do you think players would still play & pay if they couldn’t come here to get help? Shame on TinyCo for all their pathetic money grubbing events and total lack of support when it all goes wrong. I SMH every week at the insanity and mis-management of the Family Guy brand. Being a small company is not an excuse for ignorance and repeated poor performance. They obviously rely WAY TOO MUCH on this site to take the heat and solve the majority of player problems, while they collect our cash.
Also, I read how much you 2 spend on your games to keep this site going, but I wondered if you also have a freemium game going to get that perspective?

The most frustrating thing is that had the tubas dropped properly (I have six for a week’s worth of work) and Cleveland Jr was acquired, this could have been a pretty nice event despite some of the obvious glitches (easy for me to say as I have not been locked out of my game thus far). But because I am still struggling with hiring luchadors and attempting to get tubas, I am missing out on the other things that have been added to the event so I am not able to fully experience what was attempted to be done. It looks like it could have been a steady stress-free event where you could set things up ahead of time and then go in and play when you had the time instead of being a slave to your game every two hours. Seeing that this is not how they expected the tubas to drop and they appear to not be able to fix the problem, I just feel as though I am spinning my wheels and have very little chance of getting all that the event offers before the deadline. I don’t want to give up the game or give up on TinyCo, but constant technical errors and poor decisions on their end (often making mathematical impossibilities with challenges) have me wondering when I am going to permanently see Consuela’s error message when trying to access my game with “Thanks For The Memories” playing in the background.

What the deuce is with the lousy drop rates for everything. I have taken down so many Girl Scouts and only have 8 tubas to show for it. Considering each takes 2 macho men that’s 2 hours per chance, which wouldn’t be a big deal if creating them didn’t take into time I could be creating the other mobster characters. What. The. Deuce?!?

I awoke this morning excited to use the six luchadors i hired overnight in an attempt to get tubas or even shirts. Three gurl scouts defeated and three big empty drops other than cookies and fedoras. So much for the increased drops proclaimed three days ago. So I came to the site to see if maybe a challenge had been added for tubas and I had missed it. I know it is the weekend but I am grasping at straws as I am so desperate to rid myself of that challenge. I am reading the comments in this post and I see a post from Dan where he relates a reply to a message from TinyCo that the tuba drop is “a known issue” and “since no prize is being shown, DON’T WASTE YOUR GOONS ON THEM”.
Really TinyCo? Even you are admitting defeat with the task. But here’s the larger issue as I see it: do they even know what is taking place in their own game? They wanted Cleveland Jr to have a task to complete last week’s main questline and now they have a task from Cleveland Jr among those for the first part of this week’s questline. And they are telling players not to bother with gurl scouts and “waste goons” because there is a known issue which apparently they can’t repair. Yet they haven’t lowered the tuba total, haven’t added a task and even added a drop to the gurl scouts to further complicate the issue. So they are basically saying they don’t want you to advance through this timed event because they can’t figure out why an uncommon drop is yielding one item per day. And they want you to purchase clams because they are a business and they need to keep the lights on and feed their families.

WTD!!! There is just too much going on! I have no idea where to put my energy!! After the abysmal Star Trek event I had almost had it, and since then it’s been back to back events with no more land released. Where are we supposed to put everything? This might just be the point where I give up. TC is obviously not taking customer feedback, I have written three times and not even an autoreply. This is no longer a fun game to pass your time with but a cause of constant frustration. I don’t mind a difficult game and I don’t feel a need to het all the skins (they become pretty much useless after an event anyway), but I’d like to have a chance to progress in the event and most of all understand what the deuce I am supposed to do!!! Without this site I would be even more lost, but an event shouldn’t need this much explaining.
Sorry about the incoherent rant, but this is worse than the Star Trek event. I guess I keep playing because I used to remember this as being fun, but perhaps not for much longer…

i thought it was just me. There are way too many things happening at once in this even. And all of them seem to require the same characters/resources so it feels like I’m just spinning and getting nowhere.

6 goons started to finish a gold truck. The game crashed right after. Now I lost 6 goons, and didnt get the red boxing glove. This game is getting worse, and TinyCo is not answering any of my in game message. And tuba drop rate is ridiculous.

The same thing happened to me!! Did u get an error by any chance that said “error: vector”? I sent a message to TinyCo as well and didn’t receive a response. 😦

There isn’t enough space to list how disappointing this game has become. This event shows how Tinyco is more focused on money than quality gaming. Don’t fix bugs, just make players spend more money!!! Thank you ladies and gents for a fantastic fan website, you have always been a source of joy! See you in TSTO addicts, I’m done with Family Guy

F you tuba drop rate. I love this game. I love Family Guy. I love this site. But, F you tuba drop rate and now you you guys double down with an additional once in a blue moon drop of shirts. It’s just frustrating that I can not advance in the game until I get JR to complete quests but I can’t get JR because they flipping rarely drop a tuba. I have literally been playing the game non stop since Friday and during that whole time have only gotten two tubas and sadly I feel lucky about that. Also I actually spend money on each event but come on can’t a brother get some tuba action. Sidebar I’d like people to be nicer and try and get along with each other. Also why can’t people use a turn signal. That is all. 🙂

I’ve decided I’m just going to clear gold trucks to get Cleveland uniform and work towards Consuela. If I can pick up some tubas then fine I’ll get Cleveland Jr but I can see myself getting any further than that.
This is a freemium game sure but compared to Tapped Out where logging on 3/4 times a day will unlock everything you need and complete the quest lines, and the premium content is cool but not needed to unlock the main stuff – this is getting so greedy. I’m fed up with being expected to give up my life on this game to unlock the bar minimum.

Tiny co need to do something about the tuba drop, I can’t remember the last time I got one, well over 24 hours ago and I’ve been elbow dropping those gurl scouts constantly! Only have 9 and it is holding my quests up and I’m starting to not enjoy the event any more. Please sort it out!!

Every event gets harder and harder.
Tuba’s drop like epic epic epic epic epic epic epic ultimate rare, now they are mixed in with shirts so they become even harder to get. Way too expensive stuff, too much to do especially when you can’t progress. Blurgh, the joy of playing isn’t really there anymore.
I think the christmas event was my most favorite event, after that it seems every event gets progressively worse

TinyCo say tuba drops are ‘as planned’.
They have planned that vast numbers of players:
cannot participate in taking down Fort Nox;
cannot participate in raiding the Takanawa palace;
cannot collect gloves for Cleveland costume;
cannot clear cookie couriers;
cannot advance the Become the Best questiine;
cannot advance past the very FIRST part of the MAIN questline;
cannot complete the next seven parts to advance legitimately;
cannot begin to collect spray bottles or tapes?
And are still unlikely to have completed by the end of the week and will have to rely on TinyCo again abandoning the criteria for progressing to the following week (which will, no doubt, end up glitching the game of those who do have Junior.)
