–WHAT THE DEUCE….every time I have multiple Gold Cookie Trucks in my game…the game crashes! And when I reload the I lose out on the second truck, only ones there. Not cool man!
–WHAT THE DEUCE….what’s with drivers once the weather turns nice? It’s like they suddenly forgot how to drive or they’re in their own little world. People I don’t care what time of the year it is…just drive your car correctly.

Any news on what tinyco is going to do? I spent a lot of money on this event, just to find out that i cant get the 3 last costumes becoz of a loading crash…

I think that’s the version I’m currently on (the one where Mob Wife Bonnie was released). I’m wondering if the latest version 1.10.0 will do it for me?

Eureka that worked! No sooner did I load the game after updating to 1.10.0 that the TV was back and I got my free clams! Thanks Mike.

I’ve been playing since this game was launched on Android and with the exception of the first two major events (Kingdom and Comicon) where I was hampered by the performance of my old phone, I’ve not missed out on a single bit of freemium content… until this event. Due to the crashing and disappearing goons, I must have lost close to a weeks gameplay over the last 5 weeks, and as a result I was nowhere near completing the event. I did manage to get Detective Scrotes and Gangster Schoolgirl Tricia on the last day, and managed to rank in the high 7,000’s so will get Don Corleone and Zoot Suit Stewie, but was still a few days away from Mob Wife Bonnie, and that’s the first skin I will have missed getting… ever. Given how large a proportion of players were affected by issues at Tinyco’s end, I do think that not extending the event was a mistake, and if the skin is offered again in the future for clams, I’ll refuse out of principal. This event was doable within the timeframe, even for freemium players, but to charge real money for something a player missed out on due to an error at the developers end is really quite unethical. We’ll have to wait and see how Tinyco play this.
A few years ago I started playing a game called Transformers: Legends by Dena/Mobage soon after it was released. It started as a simple freemium card collecting game, then the ranked events began, and at first it was relatively easy to earn new characters and rank very highly without paying, but it quickly became more and more difficult with each subsequent event to do either. I did start paying a little money in to keep playing for a while but it quickly became apparent to both myself and obviously the developers, that quite a few players were willing to spend hundreds of dollars on each event. The events quickly went weekly and were pretty much premium only, and I bowed out.
I do spend real money on this game, but only for characters I want or skins. I’ve never sped up a task or bought any premium deco’s or buildings and can’t imagine I ever will, so I hope that Tinyco don’t start going down the same route Dena did and skew the balance from freemium to premium purely in the name of profit. Given the levels some people achieved in mob rep during this last event, there are a small percentage of players willing to shovel huge amounts of cash into this game, and I imagine they account for a large percentage of the income, from a purely economic perspective, it would make sense to target that demographic… but that kind of thinking will destroy the game for everyone else.

Any word yet on yet when TinyCo will be able to unlock the game again for us android users? Still not able to get in even after the updates. TinyCo better have one hell of a way to make right this disasterous situation before they become SmallerCo – like many others, I’m about ready to say screw them and walk away from this now broken game. I used to enjoy playing, but not so much anymore.

The event is over so i downloaded the game again after uninstalling a week ago and im still locked out of my account. Do you know how to get a refund? Do i have to contact google play? All emails from tinyco sound like they have given up so a refund feels like my only option. I am now afraid to make any app purchases in any game ever because of this and im pretty crushed by their sudden attitude change. Their responces use to be helpful and apologetic. Now they are more like oh well, tough luck, see ya. Im gonna miss the whole community of players and this site and all the classic family guy humor. I guess ill just be getting it from my dvds now. Thanks for the great times over the last year and 3 months.

Many Android are still down. There is an Update in the App Market, but I am unsure if it helps. Which is why I did the work around. Either iOS or Facebook BETA is helping some get in.
As far as a refund, they are backlogged… so up to you if you want to wait. Other than that, you would need to reach out to your App Market to see what specifics they require.

WTD!!! I was in the Bronze house category at 3pm, but as the event kept going for at least 45 more minutes I dropped down a category. *sigh*

Well, Tricia was too expensive for me (I got about 1500 cookies away from her). I also got weaseled out of the scrotum cop because I was trying to get cookies so I was taken down the Don’s men and was a few attacks past the top (5x) it didn’t credit me when the quest finally opened and I don’t have 5 hours to get the minions to clear one more time. I will get Stewie’s Zoot suit (I am at <14000 on leader board and doubt 35000+ people are going to get ahead of me on leaderboard).

I did get a response from Tiny Co.
They said there is nothing they are doing to level the playing field on this event. They are sorry for the 1-2 weeks that IOS players couldn’t log in but will do nothing to compensate us. There words ” glitches” occur. I would post their response but the funny thing is all my support conversations are now deleted.

I never even got to see the final weeks of content. I dropped about $40 worth of clams into this event until I saw it for the naked cash grab it is. The goon requirements, wait times, and drop rates have made this event impossible to complete without spending hundreds of dollars, which has led to my decision to never again drop a single cent into this game. I’m leaning towards uninstalling the game altogether. This has been an absolute slap in the face to the game’s users.

Geez, where do I begin…
This update was poorly planned out and impossible to complete without spending money. The previous events had some rhyme and reason to them in terms of “special guests” and whatnot, but this one just seemed like they were like “what characters could I pull out of 20th Century Fox’s movies to sell for clams?” I did purchase Mike Tyson, but I ignored Robocop and Mr. Miyagi.
I have a serious beef with how they handled Cleveland, Jr. He only has two voice clips, both of them from his only Family Guy appearance. This is not how they put together the American Dad voice clips for the Smiths. Look, we get that Cleveland Show was not popular, but you can at least try.
The Week Two update took me literally two weeks. I just managed to get the final update for the mansion with only three and a half hours until they’re over. How the hell am I going to get 20,000 cookies for Tricia’s outfit? And I have no chance in hell of getting Bonnie’s outfit.
(Also, Brian’s skin is the third one this year that you need to shell out clams for. What the hell? Make Quagmire have a premium skin for once!)
I enjoyed the hell out of the Star Trek event, and I spent money to get all the characters, but I only feel so inclined when it’s fun. This event wasn’t that fun, and I will seriously think before I buy more clams for future updates.

Thank you. Look, I have no problem dropping a few bucks here and there for premium content, but only for characters and skins. This event was impossible to play without shelling out tons of money buying shortcuts. At least TSTO gives you a decent shot at playing for free and gives the premium content as an option.

on the same boat, too! I barely got any of Bonnie’s stuff and nowhere near unlocking Tricia outfit because of the lack of cookies. And the mansion missions? Fuh-ged about it!
TinyCo, I may not be returning. The set back with Cleveland jr really held me back.

Hah, Im still at the judge.
Decided that it was impossible to continue so I bought decorations so I would at least unlock Consuela. Claimed her and the game crashed.
Repeated it for 25 minutes before the game saved that I had unlocked her. And then I saw that I had to create her Kingpin suit.
10 seconds… aaaaand then the game crashed. I spent 30 minutes before the game recognized that I had unlocked her suit.
I wasted one hour on something that should have taken three minutes!
Im so happy this is over, perhaps I can have the game running in more than one minute without it crashing…

I agree completely. I really loved the ST event and bought all the characters, just because I wanted them. I didn’t buy any of the dilithium extractors or anything else. But I was still able to complete every week in time to pick up the next week as soon as it was released, AND I had plenty of dilithium to not only get every item in the mystery box, but extra that I wound up getting multiple buildings and such.
This event I got behind early. First it was Cleveland Jr. and those stupid tubas. Then it was getting so far behind during week two. I JUST got to the last set of raids on Monday. I wound up spending 10 dollars in clams, just because I hate not finishing, and rushing through as much as I could but I still didn’t get to all 3 stars in the last raid. I was GOING to try to do that and see how far I could get toward getting Bonnie or Scrotes. I wasn’t even close to getting Tricia since I only have 10k cookies. At the last minute I was going to either get Bonnie if I could or open as many mystery boxes as I could. NOW, since I can’t open the game on my tablet, I can’t even do that and it looks like I will have no chance of even trying to get the mystery boxes. I don’t have a computer or laptop so I can’t try the “FB thing” to see if it would load there.
I’m fed up with this event. Good riddance. I just wish I hadn’t wasted my time saving up 10k cookies, just to not be able to log in during the last few hours to spend the darn things.
I get they are in it to make money. I SPEND money on content I want. But it was like, nope you can’t finish this event unless you spend ALL the monies! Sorry (not sorry) but I’m not spending cash on a cookie conveyor or a dilithium mine or whatever it is that is only useful for a month. I prefer to buy characters or buildings that I really want like the ST characters, tribble bay, even the cute Persian cat deco.

I have been trying all day to get past the judge in the last stage of the court to get the 5 mink coats for Lois. That is all I need to get her. I only have 8/16 money bags. It’s doubtful I will complete it.
I am torn about spending clams to get her skin. I log in several times a day and something this simple seems impossible to finish.
Not looking forward to anything Tinyco releases after this mess of an event.

Spent over $100 on this event. Was doing well (I’m even in the top 4k), but that BS with the weekly quest was just wrong. They ask you to defeat the Don 3 times (with no warning we can drop him first because that takes 24 hours). The built in delay between beating him is at least 8 hours if you aren’t already waiting. My first quest was 15 dancers. My second quest was 15 luchadors. WTF!? By the time I STARTED my second quest, I had less time left than it would take. But just for math’s sake…
15 x .75 = 11.25 hrs
+4 hrs delay = 15.25 hrs
+15 x 1hr = 30.25 hrs
+4hrs delay = 34.25 hrs
Already over by 10 hours without even seeing the 3rd quest! (which was 9 x 1.5 = 13.5 MORE hours for cops). Really? I would have had to buy 23.5 hours because I was AHEAD? WHAT THE DUECE

I am embarrassed to say I’ve spent quite a bit more than you’re $100 on this event but have experienced your same frustration. There was NO way to make it through quest without spending clams… A LOT of them. and even with free flowing clams and completing ALL quests, I am ranked at 266 on the leader board with 85,310 in mob rep. Unless the top 100 shelled out HUGE sums of cash for clams, someone will have to explain to me how anyone got over 120,000 to land in the top 100. (let alone the 670,231 the top player has!) I’m with some of the other posters on this board who think it may be time for me to hang up my hat on this game. aggravated.

I’ve had to give up on questlines to focus on hiring goons to take down gold cookie vans so I can unlock fight promoter Cleveland before the event finishes.
I have 120 out of 125 boxing gloves, 6 goons ready and no gold vans. They’ve been lacking over the last 24 hours and there’s just over 3 hours left for at least 1 to spawn.

I’m in the very same boat despite spending clams to speed up goons (among other things I shelled out real money for) after being locked out for nearly a week. I used to think TinyCo was great and wish I could work there, and now I just feel a deep dark loathing. This may be the end for me playing this game — I have definitely stopped recommending it to everyone (like I once did).

Despite sending Jerome and Bruce away almost three times a day this week, I am left three lip gloss short for Bonnie so will miss out on that skin. Won’t purchase more clams to get the sixty needed to unlock a skin that no use post eleven BST tonight.

this is more than frustrating. to have the game go to hell in a handbasket on the last day (and before that!, as i read other’s comments) is just ridiculous. my game worked Fine last night, 11:35p Eastern, but at 6:50a Eastern it seems FUBAR and will not open.

I’m with everyone else who thinks TinyCo should be spending they’re time trying to improve the actual game instead of rushing out these haphazard events in a pathetic attempt to make a quick buck. They have time to crap out this event yet Death has been “coming soon” for like a year now, so where the hell is he? I honestly think they’re just holding these characters over us so we don’t delete they’re game while they fly around and crap on our heads, they’re the seagulls of the gaming industry

As a freemium player I started to gripe about Tinyco being a money grabbing SOB back during the Xmas and Valentines events. I was told to suck it up and that playing freemium was a choice. Now that I see premium players feeling as frustrated as I was, I actually feel better now. It feels good to know that I am not alone now, lol.

I was a mostly freemium player. I bought maybe one premium character in past events using free clams I earned. And they seemed to really help my game. Until the Star Trek event. I bought all the premium characters (I am a suckered for the franchise). While they had the ability to get event currency it was at 1 extra a day (and early in the event it was only a possibility of getting the drop as it wasn’t until mid way through that it became an always drop). That totally turned me off to premiums especially since they become superfluous after their event and are only coin collectors after that (and with 5 million + coins I really don’t need more coins collectors).

Well consider me part of the club for no progress. I’ve spent £20 trying to at least UNLOCK Lois today.. And no luck. That wasn’t enough clams and tubas and tapes put me to far behind then crashes joined in. So I don’t think I’ll even UNLOCK week five.
I’ve requested a refund officially through Google and I really hope a lot of others do. Tinyco used to do great events that where doable without a few hundred dollars. Now it’s blatent cash grabbing.
The only way they will know they did wrong is with there wallets. Good luck to anyone after refunds. I’m hoping I don’t have to delete this game if the events continue this way.

How did you request your refund through google? I spent over 100$ on this event (stupid me) and asked tinyco just to refund half. Doubt they will since they typically ignore me. I didnt know you can do it through google though

I actually liked this event (except for the bugs and characters going missing) but I’m quite pissed off that they won’t be extending this event. I now feel like I completely wasted my time on the event and have nothing to show for it. I didn’t even get to unlock Mob Lois, and the requirements for Trisha are way too high for me to get her either😒 It should’ve been a no-brainer to extend this event with all the problems and complaints Tiny Co has received. Loved this game but feel if Tiny Co cannot listen to their customers, then I’m not going to bother playing their game😳

I’ve played from the start as a freemium play and in the early events I made it through to the end, so I got to read the entire ‘story’ of the event and enjoy every laugh. I’ve got around 1.4 million coins – in this event, where I’ve played every day I’ve not made it out of week 4 on deadline day, ignoring the faulty drop rates etc, the main stream seems to require clams to complete. This isn’t on. If people want to pay money to experience bonus features that’s fine, offer it. This event will prompt me to review the game next time Stewie asks. It was good when it started, but now the creators are getting too greedy, it shouldn’t be so hard to complete the main stream.
I encourage you to think before you spend money in the game, is it really going to make your life any better? Or would $ or £’s a week be better spent in helping to keep a person alive? You’ll feel much better.

What the d**ce! I haven’t been able to load my game for at least 3 days on my Android droid mini! All it says is unfortunately Family Guy has stopped! Crash and Burn!! No more days left in Mobster event either! Not happy at all tiny co.!!

It starts to feel that TinyCo doesnt care.
I was at the top 8000 the first week, back when I still could play the game. And then it started to randomly crash, and I dont have the time to see if it saved everything before the crash.
And it is not fun to discover later that those required 16h tasks never started.
And then the tubas that never wanted to drop. I got them half a week after the next event started. TinyCo removed his requirements from jumping to next week, but they kept him with a required Level 4 task to even start the next weeks questline. So half a week was gone to powerlevel him. And then the real crashes started. Getting everybody to do their tasks normally take 5 minutes, now it takes 50 because I have to redo everything and hope that at least one fricking task is saved.
This morning I spent 30 minutes just to get past the “thank you for saving Bruce from prison” quest text.
Heck, I still have less than 17000 mob points, and there is no way Im going to spend clams because TinyCo messed up big time.

I am extremely disappointed in the decision to end this event on July 9th. Considering the thousands of players that have been severely impacted thru no fault of our own (crashes, faulty tuba drop rates, etc.) . I myself just unlocked the Week 5 events on Tuesday morning at 3AM PDT, giving me essentially about 48 hours to complete a weeks worth of tasks. I have played for approximately 15 months without missing ANY characters or skins, but I am missing almost everything from this event. Also, I had hoped to at least hear an apology from Tiny Co., but there has been NOTHING. We are paying folks salaries, and to get treated this poorly is a darn shame. I think as payers we need to re-evaluate if we are getting treated properly. We write emails to tech support, and it is days before a response comes back, and sometimes it is a canned response. They are taking our money, but we can getting no tech support and we are being treated rudely by not listening to our comments. I am seriously considering either playing and no longer purchases any clams as a punishment to Tiny Co., or just flat out uninstalling the app so I don’t have this aggravation. It is supposed to be FUN, but it has ceased to be fun any more. I agree with someone’s post below. I am going to ask for a full refund on all my claims that have been spent on this horrible event.

I have spent more clams on this event then any other since I started playing tail end of comic con event and this has just not been fun for me at all. I have literally stopped trying to finish quests because what is the point. I never recovered from the whole tuba thing. I’m no where near Bonnie and Trisha is not ever going to happen with the 20k cookies. I don’t mind spending money on the game but this is just lame with they way the event played out for so many people. Just really frustrated and like a lot of players feel this should be obtainable fun to play and not this much angst. Can’t wait for this to be over and I’ll objectively try the next event but I’m not going to invest this much time of my life as I have on this event and feel this rough again It’s not the addicts or the show I love coming to this site and the joy the show brings me.

This event is the worst cash grab in the history of this game. The entire event is designed to force you to waste clams to speed up actions and goons just to catch up. I don’t mind spending clams on characters and costumes but to WASTE clams speeding things up is unacceptable you might as well just flush your money down the toilet. I’m a premium player and I still haven’t unlocked Lois, unless you spend hundreds of dollars speeding things up there is no way you are beating all the quests in this event, in the Star Trek event I unlocked everything and beat all the quests without spending 1 clam to speed things up.
And don’t even get me started on how glitchy and laggy this event was. All those different cookie couriers and trucks running around just reek havoc and slow down and crash your game constantly. This event has been an EPIC FAIL unless TinyCo goal was to piss off loyal customers than you succeeded, I don’t think I’ll ever spend another dime on your game again.

I’ve got to agree. I’ve been playing the game since the early days and this was the worst event in the history of the game and ranks right up there with the worst cash grabs of gaming. Not nearly enough resources so it was either waste loads of money like you said or miss out on unlocking things.
Put in the extra effort and I was able to unlock with the Star Trek event but I couldn’t get even close to the 20,000 cookies to unlock the Trisha outfit.
If this mob event represents the future of the game then I don’t have the time or money to play a game that provides far more frustration than enjoyment. It was like the worst combination of incompetent game design and milking the players for every dime they could wring out of us.

Todays the first day since the start of the event that I’ve been able to play the game, assign all the tasks and do whatever else I need to do without it crashing multiple times. Oh joy with 1 day left. Honestly content of the event was good, handling of it was horrendous. Bought all the clam characters, werent much help. Got stuck on the tubas and lack of henchmen to get anything accomplished with the crapload of tasks needed for them and having to build 1 at a time basically. Seeing how other events have been handled and all the complaining about this one, it honestly wont surprise me one bit if tomorrow at the last minute (after they have basically dared everyone to clam their way to the finish line or be left out) they announce they’ll extend it a week

Today I am asking TinyCo for a $61.95 refund on my account since they have not fixed my game or responded thru support.Since Sunday 7/5.
I was astounded how much I had spent on this game(you can see all purchases) and ho little support there is for a paying player. I thought they were way different than Zynga was but in my experience,I am finding that given the amount of actual money spent here,the “support” if far lacking

Don’t extend this and add me to the list of “customers” who won’t ever buy clams again. I’m in the top 18k, I’ve spent clams to catch up, speed up, and for characters I like. I don’t have a problem paying for clams. It’s entertaining. But this was a pure money grab for Tiny Co. I feel sorry for you guys having to deal with their massive pile of crap they’ve left. Every negative comment is about almost the same 2-3 things. Tiny Co needs to get the message.

I hate to say it but I am leaning towards the same avenue as other people and considering dropping this game. It sucks to feel cheated out of content because of bugs which I have no control over. I understand they are likely doing their best, but there is no chance that I can get the Bonnie costume now, let alone the fact that I have likely been kicked out of the running for the Don after having stayed in the top 10k for nearly the entire event. It sucks, but I think I’m done.

I along with at least 20,000 other players need an update and I don’t think that calling and posting TinyCo’s phone number like some guy on TinyCo’s FB page is suggesting is going to help.
You know I’m hearing that Warren Zevon song again. 😂
I appreciate the efforts you are making to look for workarounds etc but with the event scheduled to end tomorrow an update would be appreciated even if it’s to say check back in 2-3 days or a week.

I made one of the best gaming decisions of my life 2 1/2 weeks ago: I deleted Family Guy off my phone and iPad. After 10x’s of not getting tubas I said to myself, “a stupid game is supposed to be fun, not stress inducing.” I didn’t think a whole lot about it after that – just delete. I’ve checked back on to this site a couple times to see if Tony Soprano was added as a character (one of the one things I was hoping for), but alas – no. What I have seen is not only more of the same stress in player’s comments but what seems to be even a greater increase in it. It makes me feel confident in my decision and that I’m not missing anything.
Do what you want – but deleting the game was incredibly stress relieving for me.

I just deleted the game also and I’m feeling free. Clamily Guy is just giving me a headache. A mobile game shouldn’t be doing that

I also have felt free ever since my phone broke and my new phone couldn’t connect to my old save game. That was also 2 1/2 weeks ago. Since TinyCo didn’t respond to my help requests (in-game and email) I’ve had an unscheduled retirement and I feel untethered from my phone!! It’s been great! And my kids are happy about it too.
I still get email updates from this thread since I checked the “notify me” box but all that’s done is make me realize what a blessing this was.
I feel badly for the Addicts… they work so hard and when things turn sour all they can do is grin and bear it. Bunny and Alissa thank you for all you’ve done to help this past year. I hope you have at least earned enough ad revenue to cover the many clams you’ve invested if not the time spent!

1 day left of this awful event, and I still haven’t unlocked Lois. I play my game almost hourly, I’m level 53 and have purchased RoboCop, Mike Tyson, and Mr Miyagi, which haven’t really helped at all. This goon hiring system is garbage. I can have 18 or so goons at once but can only hire 6 at a time, which immediately get used on one of the 47 tasks I need them for so buying the extra rvs was pointless. All of the 24 hour challenges were pretty much impossible, still need another 20k cookies for Tricia AFTER I spend 7500 on Lois whenever I can finish getting all the crap for her, and now there are 1000 cookie mystery boxes… I play this game constantly and spend real money on it and I’m over a week behind partly due to being locked out the 1st week and partly due to terrible timers for excessive amounts of tasks. I’m so fed up with this nonsense. I for one think I have spent my last dollar on this game, as it has become more and more evident that unless you’re willing to drop $60 or so a week, you can’t complete this junk. I spent maybe $40 on the whole star trek event and unlocked EVERYTHING!
