Hey there Mafioso!
Week 3 brought us a building location that is a bit different than all the other Buildings currently in the Mobsters Event. This Building is actually being used to filter our Goons through. What Building am I talking about? Fort Nox.
In this post, I will go over some Basic details of just what you can do with Fort Nox as you progress through the rest of the Event.
First off, as you progress towards the end of the Main Week 3 Questline, Good to be a Gangster, you will start having some optional Questlines trigger. Some will utilize Fort Nox, Become the Best & Destroy Fort Nox.
Feel free to complete them as you can, especially Become the Best as it has a LOT built into it and is meant to take some time.
Now let’s get into Fort Nox…
MR. WASHEE WASHEE SPRAY BOTTLES
Fort Nox is there for a few different things. Most notable, it helps with Mr. Washee Washee’s Spray Bottles. Fort Nox is currently the only FREEMIUM way to get the Spray Bottles. Otherwise you would have to Clam Buy Japan Aracade.
(Side Note: Mine is currently still dropping Spray Bottles even though I already own him. It was reported.)
MOB REP & COOKIES
Another great use of Fort Nox is to increase your Mob Rep & Cookie Count. Sending just one Goon to attack can yield a decent amount of Mob Rep.
HOW DO I GET INTO FORT NOX?
You will need to locate Fort Nox in your Quahog and tap on it. Once you do, you will see the Fort Nox Pop Up appear on your screen.
You will now see a few different areas within the Fort Nox Pop Up. Let’s go through them.
Remaining Hit Points: Fort Nox starts at 125 Hit Points. In order to get the BIG Payout for Destroying it completely, you will have to select Goons to decrease the Hit Points until it reaches Zero.
Rewards for Destroying: Here you can see just WHAT you can earn by Completely Destroying Fort Nox and all of the 125 Hit Points Gone. Right now the Payout is 500 Cookies, 100 Mob Rep, and 1 Spray Bottles for Mr. Washee Washee.
Hire Goons: This is the area you will want to pay close attention to. It is how you can use strategy to get the most out of each attack depending on WHO you have available. NOTE: You will ONLY see the Goons you currently have active in your game. (More Info Below)
HOW DO I HIRE GOONS?
Once inside the Fort Nox Pop Up, you will see the Hire Goons Area. There is a lot of information here that will help you. NOTE: You will ONLY see the Goons you currently have active in your game.
Let’s take a look at one of the Goon Icons. For this example, I will use the Wiseguy Goon. You will notice his Icon is lit up brightly.
Hired: This is where it will tell you how many of this Goon you currently have available in your game to send to Attack Fort Nox. Right now, mine is showing 4. So I could send 4 Wiseguy Goons to Attack if I wanted.
Damage: This is where it will tell you just how much Damage this Goons Attack will do to Fort Nox. Right now, mine is showing 5. That means for every Wiseguy Goon I send to Attack Fort Nox, 5 Damage will be subtracted from the 125 Hit Points on Fort Nox.
ATTACK: This means that this Goon is ready to Attack. Tapping on it will send one of my Wiseguys running over to Fort Nox to begin the attack. This will show when the Goon Icon is lit up Brightly.
Now let’s take a look at another example. This time I will use the Italian Assassin. You will notice the Goon Icon is Darkened.
Hired: This is where it will tell you how many of this Goon you currently have available in your game to send to Attack Fort Nox. Right now, mine is showing Zero. So I do not have any Italian Assassins available to send.
Damage: This is where it will tell you just how much Damage this Goons Attack will do to Fort Nox. Right now, mine is showing 15. That means for every Italian Assassin I send to Attack Fort Nox, 15 Damage will be subtracted from the 125 Hit Points.
HIRE: This means that this Goon is not ready/available to Attack. Tapping on it will send me over to Copahavana to Hire the Goon. This will show when the Goon Icon is Darkened.
HOW MUCH DAMAGE DOES EACH GOON DO?
If you look under each Goon Icon in the Fort Nox Pop Up, you will see the Damage amount listed underneath them. NOTE: You will ONLY see the Goons you currently have active in your game.
Italian Assassin Goon: 15 Damage
Keep an eye out on the Hit Points Remaining for Fort Nox. The reason being is you do not get credit for going OVER the amount needed. In other words, if there is only 10 Hit Points left and you send a Showgirl with 12 Damage… you will not get Credit for those extra 2 Damage Points. So use them wisely.
Here is an example:
If you send 10 Showgirls @ 12 Damage each, that will do a total of 120 Damage. Fort Nox has 125 Hit Points, so after sending the 10 Showgirls you will only have 5 Hit Points Remaining… the Wiseguy would be a perfect choice of who to select to “finish off” Fort Nox as they do 5 Damage.
HOW MUCH MOB REP DO I GET PER GOON?
You will be rewarded not just for Destroying Fort Nox, but for every time you send a Goon to Attack it. NOTE: You will ONLY see the Goons you currently have active in your game.
Here is the Breakdown for sending just ONE Goon to attack Fort Nox. Now keep in mind, this is a process. Once you initiate the attack, you will actually have to wait until the Goon shows up AT Fort Nox, battles it, and completes it. The Goon will go ***POOF***

THEN you will see the payout appear from Fort Nox for the Individual Goon Battle, a lot of Mob Rep Hats with +2 from each one. So, wait until it is fully completed to see your rewards.
Italian Assassin Goon: + 30 Mob Rep
So if you have an extra Goon hanging around, it may be a good idea to send them to Fort Nox to do some damage and get some Mob Rep in return.
To give you an idea of just what you can earn by sending Goons, here is a breakdown of some possibilities.
10 Wiseguys: +100 Mob Rep
10 Luchadors: +200 Mob Rep
10 Showgirls: +240 Mob Rep
10 Yakisoba: +280 Mob Rep
10 Italian Assasin: +300 Mob Rep
WHAT HAPPENS AS I ATTACK FORT NOX?
As you continue to send Goons to Attack Fort Nox, you will actually start to see it crumble from all that abuse. Here are the changes you will see.
75% (About 90 Hit Points)
50% (About 60 Hit Points)
25% (About 30 Hit Points)
Destroyed (0 Hit Points)
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DESTROY FORT NOX?
Once you have taken down all 125 Hit Points from Fort Nox, you will see the Building completely demolished. The Safe with your “Reward” in it will now show up with a Check Mark on it.
Tapping on the Check Mark will cause the “You Earned” Pop Out to appear. Tap “COLLECT!” and the Remainder of the Reward (Cookies & Cleaner) Will appear in front of the Destroyed Fort Nox.
NOTE: THE 100 MOB REP POPS OUT WITH THE MOB REP OF THE FINAL ATTACK, NOT THE SAFE CHECK MARK. So when the Goon makes it final attack you will see all the mini Mob Rep Hat Icons with +2 and also and extra one with the +100 Mob Rep for the Destroy. You may still see a Mob Rep Icon with the Cookies & Cleaner, but not a change in Mob Rep as it already added with the Destroy.
Now that it is completely demolished, it will take time to rebuild it back up. 16hrs to be exact. So once you tap that Check Mark, it will be replaced with a Timer Icon.
Tapping on the Timer Icon will tell you just exactly how many hours, minutes, and seconds you have left until Fort Nox is rebuilt.
When it is done, the icon will go back to ! above it and you can start your next attack.
There you have it. The Basics of Fort Nox and what you can get from it. What do you think of Fort Nox? Have you been using it a lot? How is your progression coming on it? Have you triggered Become the Best yet? How far are you on that Questline? Let us know.

Hi, Some Math on MobRep Gains:
Calculations based upon using only one type of Goon to Destroy Knox, and taken in consideration the16 hours downtime:
1. Wise Guy:
Nº Goons: 25
Hours to Create: 12h30′
Total MobRep Gain: 350
MobRep by Hour: 12.3
2. Luchador:
Nº Goons: 13
Hours to Create: 13h
Total MobRep Gain: 360
MobRep by Hour: 12.5
3. ShowGirl:
Nº Goons: 11
Hours to Create: 8h15′
Total MobRep Gain: 364
MobRep by Hour: 15.1
4. Yakisoba:
Nº Goons: 9
Hours to Create: 4h30′
Total MobRep Gain: 352
MobRep by Hour: 17.2
5. Italian:
Nº Goons: 9
Hours to Create: 13h30′
Total MobRep Gain: 370
MobRep by Hour: 12.6
Conclusion:
1. In the Long Run the Yakisoba are by far the better Choice (Taking also in consideration that for Yakisoba case, for an 20h period, you can generate up to 25 NunChucks, resulting on a surplus of 16, Vs ShowGirls for witch on an 24h period you can generate 20 Shoes, resulting on a surplus of 9).
2. Until now the Italian Assassin seems rather pointless…
Good Luck to everyone.

is the wk4 RV worth it? it’s still only 6 in queue right? I already have the last 2 RVs so I can have 3 roaming, but in reality my goons get used as soon as they’re ready, so the real bottleneck is the queue or earning enough nunchucks/highheels. Not sure what’s the benefit of another RV???
LikeLike
Yes, I find it useful as I use the Goons a lot and I can keep making them. I am up to now to 15 Capacity
LikeLike
I still don’t quite understand. Even with 15 max capacity, the queue to make goons is still only 6, so extra RV just allows you to stockpile up to 9 roaming useable goons. But I don’t get why someone would wait and save 9 useable goons, why not just use the goons when they’re ready, like every 2 or 3 hours? There’s always something to use goons to attack, so why wait to reach max capacity? Unless you can’t play every 3 hrs, or maybe are waiting 16hrs for knox to rebuild, only then I can see some benefit. Otherwise the bottleneck problem is always the queue and making goons, and the extra RV doesn’t really help that. Or am I totally missing something?

It honestly comes down to how YOU play. If you rarely are in the game and only use them on occasion, then yes they can pile up. If you are constantly in your game and using them anytime you can… you go through a lot at a time.
I also know with the Raids and Challenges, having some stockpiled just before they new Content hits or the CHallenge is a good idea. So… they wander.

It takes way too long to make goons, and it takes way too long for the fort to regenerate!

AAARGH! I just sent 4 Italian Assassins and 2 Luchadors to attack Fort Nox – the game crashed and I lost all of them, but the fort is undamaged $%£@! That’s about a day’s work lost… (which I cannot afford, several of the prizes/outfits are already unattainable)
I have sent a ticket to Tiny in-game, but they never respond to these. Help!
I am also suffering from the bug where the bicycle cookie couriers will not drop nunchucks, things are looking grim right now…

All I can suggest is the tips I use on my devices to help avoid crashing on high impact memory draining games like this one and the other we write on.

That happened to me as well – Lost 3 show girls, two Luchadors and a goon or Assassin. I lost 70 points basically. They attacked the fort, I had 5 points left for a destroyed fort, my game crashed, when it came up, the fort was where it was before I started, and my hired guys were gone. So frustrating! I contacted them as well, but didn’t get a response. Just happened to me again.

Yep happened to me avout 3 times now. Severly behind in the event as a result.

I sent 5 luchas in one go to take the fort down to 5hp left. Because they take FOREVER to run over to the thing and then actually attack it or whatever they do, I forgot about them and (stupidly) tried to do other things in the game.
Then lo and behold, the game crashes, I come back and my 5hours of queued luchas are gone, but the hp is back on the fort. Told tinyco, as expected nothing, so now i have to go train the **** things again instead of use them on girl scouts.

Yeah… nah. That’s all good in theory, but it doesn’t stop the game crashing. ‘the other game’ crashes once in a blue moon. It runs smoothly, doesn’t lag. That said there was a small period, maybe a couple of months max, that it was very laggy, didn’t crash though. But they obviously decided it was better to spend time then and there to fix the problem rather than push out new content every 2 days. Pity our ‘friends’ at TinyCo can’t do the same thing. I’d happily ease off playing for a short period to see the fruits of some decent performance enhancements

Well, I am just offering help from personal experience with issues for both games (3+yrs in one and over 1yr in the other). Try it or not, up to you. 😉

Fort Nox is a cool feature but making the higher point goons to destroy, and to complete various raids and quests, shifted my focus from making the goons needed for Fight Promoter Cleveland.
Bummer. I would have liked to have had the skin, but am so far behind with boxing gloves, there is no catching up at this point. 😦 Playing this event makes me feel like the developers are wanting me to experience what it must be like to have ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder. SMH

Hmmm they’ve seemed to have cleared out the leader boards again or something me and my little 9k+ mob rep have made it to the 50k spot….not complaining but I wasn’t there yesterday! Hey anything that works in my favor I am all for lol

I got lucky. Last time I took down Fort Nox, it gave me 2 spray bottles. Nice glitch. Now I only need one more for Washee. Still need shirts and tapes tho. This has been a huge grind. The shirts have been dropping at about a 50% rate.

It can pay out more than 1 spray bottle. I was very happy to receive 2 spray bottles at the end of my latest attack.

I just checked and I definitely only received 10 mob rep for Wiseguys goons

Still not at week 4.

Nope. I got Cleveland jr but stalled out there. His next task required to move on is a level away, but he won’t level up no matter what. After each task the meter stays the same. App has been crashing for weeks now, every few minutes. No way I’ll get a chance at week 4.

I would suggest use his highest hourly task when you can. Those usually payout the most XP and level them up the fastest.

I’ve only ever gotten 10 rep each goon attack (20 for luchadors but that makes sense since luchadors take twice the time to hire). Doesn’t seem fair if others are getting 2x the rep each goon for the same exact task, like how some were getting 30 rep for girl scouts when I’ve only ever gotten 10 rep each scout? I did get 2 spray bottles for destroying Knox, but I figured it was another tinyco change to help those fallen behind like changing the tapes to always drop.

I am a huge Godfather fan. I was so excited when this came out……with that being said the challenge has been a let down to me. With the crashing issues early on and people spending huge loot I will not get Don Corleone. I am on the app 5-6 times a day doing stuff. I haven’t even finished Wishee Washee yet and can’t upgrade to mansion. I have spent clams on the event to be far behind. Still the app is a great one and have been a fan and player since the first day.

I am sorry if this has been answered in another post. Bet I have a quest line called the best around pt. 1 and can’t seem to find anything on it. Tried searching through this site but nothing. And to clarify I also have the become the best around pt. 5. Any insight would be great thanks!

That is because much like the Become the Best questline… it takes US waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many Clams to go through. Last one, almost 1400 Clams for ONE task. So… we will opt out. We go through enough as it is already. When we get through it on our own time and a cheaper route, we will post it. Until then… feel free to share with others each step as you hit it. 😉

I agree with the Bunny that Best Around is wicked expensive on clams if you want to clear it anytime before the whole event ends. Part four requires clearing Ft. Nox and using 36 Yakis in Fort Nox. That means clearing the fort at least 5 times just to push that many Yakis through. Part Five is a time user as the four characters that clear it have quests of over 12 hours. Granted, the fedora rewards are large; you whizz through the 70,000 – 72,000 range if you are willing to fork out the clams.

Part 5 gave a reward of 2,500 fedoras.

This building is just full of errors. Everytime i send people to attack it the health goes down to about 30 then when the game crashes (as it has every 40 seconds for the last year) i come back in and its back at full health but all the goons i sent to attack it are gone. Ive wasted 20 luchadores and i cant get past the main quest because of this crap. Its getting ridiculous i dont know why tinyco doesnt just fix this crashing issue. Ive put all my buildings and characters in storage and deleted all decorations and its still happening.

If your game has been crashing for over a year… something else is going on. It may be the device itself can’t handle this kind of High Impact/ Memory Draining Games. There are several out there that can’t. You need a LOT of wiggle room. Mine take 3-4GB of free space just to play.
That’s on a strong steady stable WiFi, lots of free Memory, and not another app running in the background. I kill them all before playing. If I dont… I start to lag and if its another high impact app still running in background (like the other game we write on) it will get to point it crashes as the memory is being pulled into too many places at once.
Just some suggestions from my personal experience on not just this game… but many others like it that have the same issue. Memory Drain.

Thanks for the suggestions bunny but ive already tried all that and im actually on my third phone since it first started happening and the one im using now is the galaxy s5 which is pretty powerful (plus its pretty much empty) i managed to lessen the crashes by putting almost all buildings in storage but its still a problem. I accepted this as reality a long time ago but now that i cant make any progress its become a real nuisance. Anyways thanks for letting me whinge haha

The only thing that annoys me about this building is the reset time is way too long. 16 hours is 3/4 of a day wasted. I can understand 6-8 hours or even 12 at the most, but 16 is overboard.

This is one of my favorite buildings, I don’t like the super long down time, it could be halfed, but right now it’s too hard to keep destroying it over and over, cause there it just too many other things that you need to use your goons on in order to advance the other questlines.
Maybe after Raid 3 is done and we get Lois it will calm down with all of the goons attacking other stuff so we can get back to smacking this building.
