With the Mobsters Event Week 4 now in full swing it’s time to take a look at the characters/costumes you could unlock throughout the event….
Fight Promoter Cleveland was added as a Costume to the Mobsters Event. He may take you some time to earn as you have to wait on Gold Cookie Trucks to appear, so let’s take a look at just what this Fight Promoter adds to the game.
Fight Promoter Cleveland arrived in Quahog with the second week of the Mobsters Event 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect STUFF.
Here’s a look at just what Stuff you will need to collect to bring him into your game.
125 Boxing Gloves: Gold Cookie Trucks (Requires 6 Wiseguys/ Payout 5 Gloves Each) OR The Slammer (Payout 1 Glove Each) OR Burn Out Brian Dance Like a Maniac (Mafia Stewie Mystery Box-Week 4)
Once you acquired all of the 125 Boxing Gloves, you will need to go to his Menu Icon in the Shopping Cart and Tap on where it says “125” Next to the Boxing Gloves UNDER his Image.
Once you tap it, you will go through a kind of “Mystery Box” set up. First, you will see his Outfit Information and “OPEN” at the bottom. Tap on “OPEN“.
A Mystery Box kind of screen will process through and when done, you will again see information on his Outfit. This time with “GO!” at the bottom. Tap on “GO!“.
The outfit says it will go to your Inventory, but I immediately saw mine in Al’s. His Outfit in Al’s will take 10 Seconds to Create. So next, tap on “CREATE!“.
After 10 seconds, your outfit will be complete and you can now place it on Cleveland (if he is in your town) and start his questline. NOTE: If you do NOT have Cleveland, the outfit WILL go to your Inventory or possibly “Limbo” until you purchase Cleveland.
He does come with a Questline, Only in America, more details on it in another post.
Fight Promoter Cleveland is not really part of any Character Group right now that pays Clams (as he is a Costume for Cleveland who is already part of “The Guys”), so you will not earn any for unlocking him.
Fight Promoter Cleveland does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Gurl Scout Cookies and Fedoras (Mob Rep) for the Event.

FYI: I know a LOT of these payouts do see out of place for their times, already reported, so keep an eye out as the payouts may be changed soon.

He should be in the Event Menu Icon, if not… check the Character Icon.

Still getting too few golden trucks in my game with 45 gloves and 10 days. Sucks big time!

i got him when i had three golden cookie trucks and the building that always drops the boxing glove. i love his tasks and the metal detector is my fave. i am so close to unlocking stewie but that last item is a pain to collect for i have 5 more to get

I don’t foresee much of a chance of getting this. I’ve constantly needed goons for other tasks and have never been able to spare the queue for this. Too bad. Cool skin.

Hoping I can get him. This weeks raids and quests quelled any chance of hiring the necessary goons for gold trucks. Fingers crossed.

Not sure he is worth it considering the minimum 1875 cookies to spend for him plus the 62.5 hours, not to mention the early non-glove-producing golden vans.

I only have 50 of the 125 gloves to unlock the outfit. There is always something more pressing to use the goons for😩 I just hope I get it before the event ends. I’ve given up on getting Tricia because I will NEVER get 20k cookies unless I shell out some clams and I am not willing to shell out THAT much yet. I have everything to unlock her BUT the cookies and Mr. WW I only need more tapes…but THAT is doable….I just need to focus more on finishing it so I can finish part 8 and upgrade the mansion.

I am not the one that did… regardless… they need to be fixed as it is messing with gaining proper payouts on the other tasks. 😉
That and I don’t want to see people yelling “but that isn’t what they started at”… so a lot easier to make people aware they are NOT right to begin with. 😉

I hope the payouts are meant to be higher. I have created this outfit and Tricia’s, I was hoping that they would have better than normal payouts, or give a lot of mob rep or something on completion, given how long they took to earn. I wanted them both anyway, but it was quite difficult to get Cleveland’s as I keep having to hire all of the different goons for the raids and quests.

Ah. I had not seen that. 😛 Thanks, I sent him on his 4 hour task for the questline and was disappointed that he didn’t have a decent rate for it. I looked at all of his tasks, but not the payouts. Thanks for letting me know!
