UPDATE 9/16 715PM EDT: Just got word back and confirmation from TinyCo on the End of Event Mystery Box.
We do not have any plans for an End of Event Mystery Box. Any event currency that is not spent before the end of the event will disappear.
So for those that were waiting, like me, to see if something else would be dropping last day… TinyCo just confirmed no End of Event Mystery Box. So grab the extras you want and whatever remains will go when the Event does.

WOW! So much going on. Musicians wandering around and performing Concerts, Mecha Astley screeching and stomping round town all Godzilla like, lil Robot Mechanical Bugs that like to poke Mechanics in the leg before shooting Lasers at them… and in there some New Characters.
With all these new additions to PeterPalooza in our game, many wonder about these New Characters and how they can help you in your game. There will even be Premium Characters you can decide if you want to add to your Quahogs. Including Premium Character Costumes like Tricia Takagaga.
Let’s take a look at what Tricia Takagaga can do in our silly lil games.
Tricia Takagaga was a New Premium Character added during the Fifth Phase of PeterPalooza 2015. As with all Premiums, it is your choice to determine whether or not it is something you want to add into your game.
Tricia Takagaga’s Cost was 250 Clams
. In order to bring her into the game, you had to tap on “BUY” from the Menu to go to Al’s.
Or just tap on Al’s to go into the Costume Shop to purchase her for Clams.
Tapping on “BUY” in Al’s took the 250 Clams and brought here into our games.
She does come with a Questline, Pop Star Expose’, more on it HERE.
Tricia Takagaga does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Glowsticks & XP. Not only does she help defeat the Mecha Astley with 2 Damage (4hrs) to gain you more Microphones & Glowsticks, but she also has a task too that ALWAYS drops 1 Microphone

So, went for tomik for 4k as 20k glowsticks was too far to get Ricardo which I would have preferred to tomik then tiny has reduced Ricardo to 10k glowsticks and I now I have only 7k. . Arrrgh. ..

Does no mystery box mean no dancing toad Bunny? Really going to miss that little guy. I do have excess glowsticks but better too much than too little so I’m not going complain about nothing spend them on whilst others are still trying get enough to complete the event, I personally think TinyCo got a lot right for this event, big improvement on the Mob event. Didn’t buy the Tricia skin, I think skins should cost a lot less clams than characters but those who got her seem to be saying she was a good purchase due to her attacking Mecha task. Just going enjoy last few hours of the event trying to keep my 1st place in the leaderboard. All in all I’m a happy Bunny. Oh no wait you’re Bunny, hey maybe we’re all Bunny. Thanks as always for the guides and info Bunny. Hope you get wee break before the Halloween madness starts.

I think someone is cheating on my leaderboard, but what can I do about it? Its the last day and TinyCo never answers me back. I was 2e place and now I am 3e because someone went from 0 to 56 in just one day!!!

Can easily happen. Possible 6 viral hits a bug. 1 or 2 from Spooner stage. Clams can easily move you up by buying wrenches, speeding mechanics, and luck on getting 6 hits off one bug. I’ve done it. Moved up fast from them.

While I like the idea of her skin if I were to shell out clams it wouldn’t have been for that.
On the Mystery box, well honestly this would have been the first I wouldn’t have been remotely interested in. This is the first event I won’t be on the last weeks quests before it ends. And that’s fine.
Between working 12s, busy when I get home I can’t keep up if I’d wanted to. And didn’t have that drive this time.
Maybe next event will draw me in more.
Ohhhh what am I saying?? Halloweens right around the corner! Bring it!! Muah haha ha haaaaaa

On the subject of the Mystery Box (or the lack thereof), I am not at all surprised. I play fairly often throughout the day, and even with the non-stop grind I have been barely scraping by the whole time. The only premium I purchased was Weird Al, and his presence has only helped out with Mecha-Streisand in the last week – which did allow me t finally reach the 10K needed for Ricardo.
I skipped the DJ Booth (2000 saved right there, thanks to your walkthroughs) and a few of the other non-required decos, which did spare me a good number of Glowsticks, but the required items always drained my totals when they became available (even with the 3 “super-secret secret concerts I did before it got annoying). So I really do not have too many extra Glowsticks to drop on a Mystery Box. A bummer for people (most likely Clam spenders) who might actually have a lot to spend, but I can see the logic in not bothering. Besides, what could have in there anyway – toads, bears, Bee-Hippies, the VIP chairs? Not a lot going on in this one.

Very disappointing. Without buying any of the neon characters to drop glow sticks I have still managed to buy every single thing from the Kiosk and from the normal shopping area and I still have almost 20K left over with nothing left to spend them on unless I want to get doubles and triples of items. Oh well, on the bright side, I have GUDG and 3 free albums and Mecha Astley (just one!) but I still wish it was animated. All in all I enjoyed the event. Now I can concentrate on the regular game. I just entered the Fine Arts District and am working on unlocking Olivia.

So what’s everyone’s leaderboard look like? On the last one, I didn’t even bother since I was always in the bottom half. This one I’ve been number 1 the whole time without using any clams at all. Not complaining but it feels unbalanced since I’ve got 75 and 2nd place has 32.

Bunny is indeed ( as always) correct. I got a total of 16 VH’s from my last gold robot outbreak. 2×6 , 4×1 and coins from the rest. I guess it evened out on me when only 1 character task dropped a VH this time around and nothing from the Dance side show. Still…Since im at 132 and 2nd place is 40 something im not gonna panic 😉

Bunny, I am glad you found out about not having a currency mystery box, but frankly, there is nothing that I need more than one of, unless I want to open up a business! Hmmmmm, that might be fun, think of the businesses you can start/run with duplicates of the items you can buy with glowsticks…

Nooo I kept collecting extra glowsticks the entire event waiting for the mystery box since mob event there were a couple items I didn’t get. And now nothing 😦 quite upsetting

I apologize that this is kinda sorta slightly related to FGTQFS: Has anyone updated to iOS 9 yet? And if so, have there been any problems then with Family Guy? I really want to update, but not if it’s going to cost me games I tend to play the most (this, Simpsons, Fallout)

I usually get premium characters during events, but this is too pricey for a skin IMO. I would have paid 100 for it. It’s pretty cool looking, however.

Kinda makes sense, there’s not much they could have put in that box except the stage, which is way to big to put in a town, the event staff tent, and then npcs. Still would be nice to have them, the bears specifically, but what can you do.

Was really hoping for a Glowsticks Mystery Box, they could have put in one of each event NPCs (like Bee Swarms, Bears, Bee Keepers, etc), plus the Concert Stage, and some other types of Dancing Fans. Now that we know there’s not going to be one I don’t know what I’m going to spend my 86,345 Glowsticks on, guess I’m gonna end up with tons of duplicate decorations.

I think it is due to the fact many are still struggling to just get enough to unlock their Characters. I was hoping for one too. 😦

Sorry to post this here, but I just got the Pop up message about the event ending tomorrow, it was both a reminder to finish the characters and use up your game currency.
I know you can’t say what will happen, but is there a way to find out if there will be some other stuff available tomorrow?!
I have 50K in glow sticks alone not to mention tickets, lighters, LP’s etc.
I noticed this during the evil event, I had to either not spend the extra stuff or get like 5 Brian billboards.
Was hoping for some mystery boxes or some thing besides more decorations that we already had to buy.
Could you maybe ask if there are other things coming?! (I realize they may not say, but I am using the “it never hurts to ask” philosophy and thought you might be bale to do the same?!
I don’t need more decorations, or repeats of the decorations and without the info on what items other then the glow sticks I have available to me its even hard to say for example, I want a dozen of the Pyrotechnics, or whatever
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Oh and I am super happy I bought Tricia Gaga asap, she was VERY helpful in achieving more things!

Sorry, If you can find anything out, and we only have the Merch Kiosk to choose from, could you suggest they unlock the items that are greyed out and no longer available (things we already bought like buildings) I mean if that’s it then I would hope they would at least give us the choice of anything, not just the ones they have chosen!?

I will just repost what I always say… “I always wait until the last day to spend all my “extras” in case there is a last minute Mystery Box for Event Currency”.
Nothing confirming or denying it or I would post something stating one is coming or not. So… I just wait as usual to see what drops last day. 🙂

I was waiting too, the pop-up was what made me think nothing was coming or they would have either given us a day to shop or at least let us know there were other opportunities coming, not sure what I got all those lighters and LP’s and tickets for?!
As I said I got a bad feeling regarding this with the Evil week event not having much to spend that currency on

Don’t get me wrong. I love this game! But determining who does good and who does bad, not counting clams, is utterly and completely random.
A few weeks ago, I lost in the leaderboard against people who logged in randomly 2 or 3 times a day. They won against me Because they didn’t log in as often as me. This time, I am more than twice ahead of second place. Why? Well, in the start, you could get 6 vids for one. Now you can only get one. Even if they even out the unfairness from the start, I will still reap the benefits from it. Even if I don’t play all day tomorrow I will still win because when they changed the rules, they made me a winner.

FYI, you are incorrect on the Viral Hits, they changed nothing. The Gold Robots STILL drop 6 Viral Hits. It varies. 1 Coin OR 1 Viral Hit OR 6 Viral Hits OR 1 Tub of Grease (if you need them). Every Player got different results. I just got two more 6 Viral Hit drops with my last clearing of Gold Robots, 1 Viral Hit before that when I cleared 3 Gold Robots, coins mixed in too.
