Hey there Sausage Lovin’ Beer Chuggin’ Lederhosens!
TinyCo has dropped into our games some Beer, Sausages, Beer, Barmaidens, Beer, Kegs of Beer, Beer O’ Clock Towers…. whooo… I’m getting a bit woozy… BAHBLOOOOO BAEARHBLOOOO LAALBABLLOOO!
With this fun Septemberfest Mini Event dropped into our games, we also get some New Characters/ Costumes. Characters like Opie!
Let’s take a look at what Opie can do in our silly lil games.
Opie was a New Character added during the first part of Septemberfest 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
First, you needed to purchase and build the Nothin But Tubas Shop.
Once the build was complete, Opie popped out in front of the Shop with a Lock Icon.
Tapping on the Lock Icon told you all the items you would need to collect in order to bring him into your game.

New timed quest. 24 hours to Have opie be a better employee x3 + Have Angela attend Illegal Cock Fight x3 + Have Lederhosen Peter Epic Beer Belch. Reward is Irish Alcohol Scientists Memorial. Not sure who started it, possibly Peter, but would have been fairer if it had triggered AFTER completing Lederhosen Peter. The grab for clams has really gotten beyond a joke.
Lederhosen Peter is now available to craft through the Pawtucket Brewery, along with several new items. Herbert, Lois, Meg, Stewie, Connie, Vinny, Quagmire, Seamus, Peter, Mayor West, Tricia, Dr Hartman, Carter, Tom, and Brian have items to collect to craft various rewards. This is possibly best part of this event so far.

Has anyone else had the second part to the Septemberfest start, but the items needed haven’t appeared in the store? Like the Pawtucket Car and Lederhosen Peter. Both quests need them to continue, but neither is there.

Just unlocked Opie, had trouble with the certificates due to pretty much only using Joe. As I’ve seen the questline post there’ll be some pretty long tasks. Also, an animated pawtucket beer car just showed up in the decorations menu for $10k 🙂

Build “huge das boot”… I built 6 & got a beer each time and then they drop beers! You can prob build add many as you have coins for?

What can Opie do in my game? Nothing right now. I have had Mort and Bruce constantly doing their tasks, and it’s been several days since I got all the other items, and that fourth pair of scissors eludes me. This is the eyeballs all over again…

Exactly the same here used 8 clams to speed mort up 4 times to try and get last pair of scissors after 3 days and only 1 drop from both bruce and mort. I only had 33 clams so couldn’t afford the 40 needed to buy the scissors
Getting a bit bored of this game now as its getting too clam heavy to get anywhere unless you set your alarm to get up in the middle of the night

Would be nice if I could get the 4th Barber’s Scissors needed to unlock him. Been sending Bruce and Mort on their tasks straight for at least 5 days minus a questline task or 2 with zero drops. I thought they were supposed to have built in something where after so many unsucsessful attempts in a row it would force a drop. I messaged them in game. I’m sure they’ll get back to me after the event is over like every other time and say they are sorry it took so long due to the volume of messages, but we looked into it and the drops of the barber’s Scissors were working as intended.
