UPDATE 9/26: Due to reports of issues with the “In Memorium” task, TinyCo reset it. This may create you to see a start over on it. If you used any Clams to complete it and this happened to you… Message them right away from in your game and they will take care of you.

In Phase 2, we will have more items added into our games… like Characters, Buildings, and Decorations.

New Content has been dropped into our games in the form of “Crafting” Items. To start this out, Pawtucket Pat begins the Questline with a ! over his head. This starts Back to the Brewery Part 1.
Peter also has a ! over his head for a LIMITED TIMED ITEM. Once you tap him, you will have 24hrs to have Opie, Angela, and Lederhosen Peter perform actions to get a reward. So be careful where you tap.
TIMED QUEST- IN MEMORIUM
UPDATE: Per TinyCo, Back to the Brewery Part 1 triggers this. You also have to complete Battle of the Beers Part 10 to trigger this. The timer has also been changed to give you 60 hours to complete the tasks.
Tapping on the ! above Peter triggers this quest and it will only be valid for 24hrs. You will want to get started on this as soon as you can.
Have Opie Be A Better Employee than Peter (3 times): 4hrs, Earns $50 & 30xp
Have Angela Attend Illegal Cock Fight (3 Times): 4hrs, Earns $50 & 30xp

Just to help me decide whether collecting items past what’s needed will be helpful for the future? As in, does anyone know if there is going to be another brewery event that uses these items? I ask because I’m collecting more right now and once i hit the ‘craft’ botton on the last item in the brewery, I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to send the characters to get any of the items anymore. But is it even worth the effort to keep collecting these items?

Dont want to sound like a nag but im a little annoyed that the phase 2 absolutely needs District 10. Even Peter palooza didnt need to be too far to get everyting, sure it would have helped to have Ghost of new Brian but still. Im a fairly new player and stuck in trying to slowly unlock Stewie so im not even close to District 10 but atleast i was able to unlock Opie and Angela in time but as such i won’t be able to get the rest of the event items so i am gonna go back to focusing on the main game content.

Normally, they would have just dropped a Character in for Clams during these lil Events… so this is a new and interesting twist. The Clam option was still there, but those further along had an additional option. So it did reward long time players… which I find very nice and pleasing change. 😉

I was about finished with “In Memoriam” quest, had Lederhosen Peter on his 6 hour task to finish it up. This morning, I tapped him, then something weird happen. All of Opie’s and Angela’s 4 hour tasks had reset to 0/3??? Last night, they were completed. Now I have to do all over again in less the 11 hours. Anyone else have this problem…I seem to think it is a bug after the extended the 24 hour timer. Since its a weekend, Tiny Co will not be able to respond within 11 hours. So I’m guess I SOL.

I was just about to finish my last Opie task for in memoriam and the whole thing reset. Now need 3 more Opie tasks and 3 Angela ones as well as Peter’s belch. I messaged tinyco but wanted to know if this happened to anyone else.

Juat sharing some fun: I had Angela and Opie’s tasks finished yesterday before Tinyco added more time. I got the last bubble I needed for Peters skin late yesterday afternoon and immediately sent him on the 6 hour Epic Beer Belch. At that time I believe only the timer had changed, I don’t recall seeing the extra task in the quest because I just got up this morning expecting to be finished with this Quest so I can move on to the “Back to the Brewery” quest line but when I got in the game it showed an exlamation over peters head (which in my sleepy haze I clicked through too fast) and i had a pop up that said something about me not having Lederhosen Peter and he’s available at the brewery. When I finally got to click on Peters checkmark to clear his belching task and nothing happend thats when I looked at the timer and tasks. The “Get Lederhosen Peter” had been added to the Quest(not complaining since it’s checked off). My confusion is that the “Get Lederhosen Peter” and his “Epic Beer Belch” tasks are the only ones check off now AND my timer is reset to 36 hours as of this morning. So I guess i now get to do Angela and Opie’s tasks all over again? And I sent Opie on his 24 hour task yesterday when he finished all 3 of these tasks, silly me… I know I will still have plenty of time to get this done so no complaints here just some info to share…

I see the timer has gone up for the task but for me it’s gone up twice now! The first time it went up and added ‘Get Lederhosen Peter’ as part of the task and the second time it added time and took off that I had completed Angela and Opie’s 3 tasks each! I had done them both before they added time first time round and now I have to do them again. Annoying because now I have the skin, Peter’s task is only 6 hours but now I need to spend 12 hours redoing! Argh!

I’ve nuked my town to have more space. I know the Perma-Suds Laboratory drops some resources needed for the new Brewery items. What other buildings are there that drop things that I need to dig through my inventory to find?

Hey Bunny,
I received the time extension yesterday along with everyone else (Thanks, TinyCo). However, I just had something odd happen. With one hour left on my Peter Belch task, the final task before getting the scientist statue, another exclamation popped up over Peter. I pressed it and My tasks have now been reset – meaning that my Opie and Angela tasks are back at 0/3. They did not reset during the extension yesterday. This is going to screw me, because I just sent Opie on his 24 hour task last night, and now he won’t be available in time to re-do his three tasks. Just wanted to mention it to hopefully help others.
*Don’t send Opie on his 24 hour task until you have the statue!*

For the third time today my quest has reset the first time was just waiting for 1 hr while Angela finished third time doing her task….reset to needing Peter to belch….now everything has been reset to needing all tasks again…..

I completed In Memoriam and then the timer changed. I had to start over, but got to keep Lederhosen Peter. I logged out and back into the game and it didn’t change. Anyone else have this issue?

My in memoriam quest reset, i was done with all parts except the peter 6 hour hone which i had to do twice. Now it has completely reset down to 0/3. Annoying.

I nearly completed the timed challenge, but when the timer increased (I’m up to 2 days 11 hours now) it restarted all my progress. Any idea if this is a known bug? 😦

Darn, I don’t have 10 yet, I’m still stuck on Stewie (the blueprints you need for him are killing me; you need 30 of them, and you have only 3 characters to get them for you, and all their actions for them take 20 hrs. I knew I should’ve ignored the last 2 phases of Peterpalooza and focused on stewie instead.) oh well, at least there don’t seem to be any new characters available now.
