Got your popcorn and snacks ready? Got your love one snuggled up close in your arms? You car stereo tuned into the right Frequency to pick up the Movie? Got the “good spot” at the Drive-In? Ready to SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM??!!
TinyCo has dropped another awesome Event into our Quahogs. This time we are gonna go back to those “Scary Movies” of the past. The ones that send chills up your spine. Make those lil hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Make your heart start beating a lil faster. hack hack hack hack chop chop chop chop kill kill kill kill….
With this New Scary Movie Scene Event, we also get some New Character’s Costumes. Like Slasher Bait Peter!
Let’s take a look at what Slasher Bait Peter can do in our silly lil games.
Slasher Bait Peter was a New Character added during the first week of Death at the Drive-In 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
You can find Slasher Bait Peter in the Event Menu, tapping on him will take you to Al’s Costume Shop where you can see what you will need to unlock him. You can also just go directly to Al’s. After Death in the Drive In Part 2, players are prompted to create the Slasher Bait Peter outfit by the Blast from the Past questline!

14 Funny Cigarettes (Common): Murder Point (Movie Projection Booth)

After you collect all the Materials, you will need to complete his costume in Al’s for 10 seconds by tapping on “CREATE!”. Once the 10 seconds to “CREATE!” are up, you’ll have Slasher Bait Peter in your game.
He does come with a Questline, Classic Horror Tropes, more on it HERE.
Slasher Bait Peter is also a part of a Clam Character Group, Slasher Ready. Earning all the Characters in the Group and completing it will earn you an extra 10 Free Clams
.
Unlocking Peter will trigger the Week 1 Weekly Timed Challenge, See No Evil. You will have 3 Days to complete it. More on that HERE and the Questline link for Peter above.
Slasher Bait Peter also has an “Alternate Task” to help earn Popcorn, Save Lois From Slasher Cat. Requires Slasher Cat NPC to be Chasing Lois & Slash Bait Peter to be free.
Just tap on Lois & Slasher Cat, then tap “GO” to get Slasher Bait Peter to come clear Slasher Cat from Lois. Payout of up to 15 Popcorns

Slahser Bait Peter does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP.

I have a daytime full time job. These events are becoming close to impossible for me it seems. Anyone else have this issue?

just wondering if anyone had or was planning to do a little testing on whether or not it’s more profittable to keep slasher bait peter off task so he can just save lois?6 hours for 10 popcorn(generally), 5hr for balloon and 1hr for launcher craft vs saving lois for 15 and even though its random it seems to happen more than every 6 hours…granted every game is different i know but it’s just a thought.

I can’t seem to get Lois to hide from slasher cat. Twice I have had Peter save her then had her to the action but each time I come back she’s back to being chased from slasher cat.

Loving Slasher Bait Peter, I think when not needed for the event he will permanently be brutally murdered as I love the Demon Stewie, wouldn’t mind him as a character as looks awesome.
And well done Lotty, as much as I love Bunny it’s nice to see someone else posting to give her a lil break.

Awesome timing. 🙂 Even though I have all the items needed to unlock Slasher Bait Peter, I am gonna hold off on unlocking him at least for a few more hours, to be better prepared, before triggering the weekly challenge. Want to have my que maxed out and and have 8 more balloons ready, to immediately start another round of making launchers.

This is just speculation on my part, but by looking at the movie booth and seeing what movies we will be upgrading to I am guessing that.
The Supernatural movie will drop Chucky,
The Ghost movie will drop Samara
The Insane asylum movie will drop Michael Myers
The Demonic movie will Drop Pin Head.
Those are just my guesses, but it would not surprise me if some of those movies drop more then 1 character, maybe a character you can earn and a Clam buy Character.

Anyone else having a really hard time to gather scream points? I’m still at level 2 and onlye have two prizes to gather at the movie booth. Are there characters rewarding scream points? I’m pretty sure that I won’t get to level 4 until thursday…

Slasher Cat in the Projection Booth will only go if you do NOT get him after triggering the 24hr timer. Otherwise he will sit there until you trigger it.

Don’t stress about it. I’m not even paying attention to scream points and already have 201 out of the 270. I gave priority to tasks collecting holy water balloons rather than collecting stuff for Peter (often there are choices for the characters) – the buildings you buy with movie reels in the projection booth and other buildings (like the bank) will drop what Peter needs, you need to focus on collecting the stuff in the projection booth first. So just collect the holy water balloons and make the launchers, melt those nuns, collect their popcorn and trade it in for movie reels, and then trot over to the projection booth and buy the stuff as quickly as you can and you’ll be fine. You don’t have to go on to the next phase “on time” – I’m usually a few days late myself.

i’m half way through level2 so i should be at level3 maybe later tomorrow…most likely Wednesday. I know and understand that the scream points do seem kinda sparse at the moment of course it’s ONLY the beginning, but as you progress it should get jus a lil bit easier…*Hope This Helps!* 😊😀😁

i have a quick question, so far everything in movie projection booth could also be bought by clams. i can not find any mention of how many clams slasher cat is. i just have one more thing to unlock before slasher cat, and i don’t want to start the timer until i have enough flim reels, but if i accidentally tap to soon, i want to know how much of a clam hit i will have take.

Mine never decreased in cost as was around 1350 to buy out from the Projection Booth vs earn Reels. Don’t buy him out from Booth… instead if it comes to it… use Clams to get the Reels by other methods. Like Speeding Water balloon tasks, Launcher Builds, etc. Try to get the Reels by regular play as much as you can for Free. Characters will always cost HUGE amounts of Clams to outright buy them.

i am trying to save my clams for week 2 premium character (chucky, pinhead, etc), that will drop film reels.

what i don’t like is how the amount of popcorn needed increase for each scream level

Its best to play not wanting to raise your Scream level until 1-2 days before the next Phase. I any Event building that isn’t dropping items to unlock Death should be put into storage. This will slow down the Scream level thus keeping the transfer rate from Popcorn to Reels from getting expensive.

What’s the deal with the Moviehouse? What characters can use it, and how do I get 3d glasses drops?
Also, awesome post Lotty; hope to see more from you. These girls work so hard on this game, and I’m sure they could use a break! I’m a professor. And, every time I read the comments all I can say is, “I feel your pain daily.” As players we can be so demanding, and all we really need to do is read another post. Moviehouse is a Building. Some Characters will use it for tasks and it will drop 3D Glasses each collection. As far as getting MORE, outside the Building… Questlines and Quagmires task. 😉
