As you have all started to notice, changes are starting to happen for tonight… Scream Levels being the main one of focus. (Scream Points doubled and even tripled yesterday)
With the New Phase 4 in the midst for this evening, TinyCo is prepping for its launch. This included a recent change to the Scream Point Levels too.
Now before you all FLIP OUT!!! Keep in mind that there will be MORE options to still get Reels. The Concessions shows 5 Different ones. So you will NOT have to rely on just Popcorn. You will have more options come with the New Phases. So yes, items take more to Exchange, but that is because a new one is offered and you may not even need the other one so much after a while.
Reels are here to stay the ENTIRE Event. You got plenty of time and lots more chances coming to keep earning them. 🙂
NEW SCREAM LEVELS
Here are the new amounts for each Scream Point Level. I am still verifying these and will update them all with the correct amounts once I have confirmation.
Scream Point Level 2: 20 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 3: 200 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 4: 350 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 5: 500 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 6: 750 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 7: 1100 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 8: 1550 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 9: 2100 Scream Points
Scream Point Level 10: 2750 Scream Points
STUCK ISSUE
For the most part, many of you progressed up fine. For some reason some of us (me included) did not. Instead, the Bar is “stuck” at the amount we last had vs the amount that should trigger the Level up. You can see mine is MORE than required but stuck.
TinyCo is aware of this already and looking into it. In the meantime, if YOU are “stuck” please report it in game right away. I will let you know when I hear more on it.
WHAT ABOUT POPCORN?
Keep in mind there are 4 MORE options in Concessions for Reel Exchange coming, so Popcorn will not be the only thing. Reels are Game Currency and are here to stay. So no worries, plenty more options coming to get them and who knows… maybe ones you will find easier than the Unholy Nuns. 😉
POPCORN EXCHANGE
Like I noted since beginning of the Event, the exchange rates WILL Change. These are the stats I posted previously… let me know if you see a difference. I’m verifying with them too and will Update changes verified. The ARE correct. If you see different double check your Level and report it if the amount varies.
The Current Exchange Rate is as follows…
- Scream Level 1 & 2: 30
Popcorns for 5 
Movie Reels - Scream Level 3: 35 Popcorns for 5 Movie Reels
- Scream Level 4: 45 Popcorns for 5 Movie Reels
- Scream Level 5: 60 Popcorns for 5 Movie Reels
- Scream Level 6: 80 Popcorns for 5 Movie Reels
- Scream Level 20: 105 Popcorns for 5 Movie Reels
Now a few important things to note, the increase is ALSO triggered by Death in the Drive-In Part 6. So if you hit that point BEFORE you Level up to Scream Point Level 3, you will still see an increase to the 35.
HOLY WATER BALLOONS
Also, for those of you that have not noticed… all the Balloon Tasks are 4hrs now and Joe has been added to the Mix.

Now remember the Phase will launch sometime tonight AFTER 3PM Pacific time. Normal time frame I see is anytime between 6-9PM, though it could be sooner.
There you have it. Prep to get us all as close to Scream Level 4 as possible to move into Phase 2.

How am I supposed to use the popcorn? It’s no longer letting me trade any in at the concession stand. It’s saying I have over a hundred but its not giving me any options to use them..

Im level 7, 27 scream points from level 8. I cant trade popcorn in the concession stand anymore. I have 156 popcorns i cant exchange. It only gives me 4 exchange options, trade only soda, and 3 others thats locked. Anyone else experiencing this?

My popcorn + soda exchange feels like it’s all over the place. Yesterday I was lvl 7, 20 sodas + 105 popcorn = 12 reels. Today I woke up to a new rate, 27 sodas + 80 popcorn = 12 reels. Are they still changing the rules on the go, or was I bugged before?

That is exactly how it is in Phase 2. Noted it on rundown post and many others since. Variables during your play will impact it.

Why can’t we trade or in game money for clams, popcorn. onions to kill vampires ?. I mean why have $1,177,053 if you can’t do anything with that money. There should b a way to exchange that money with items u need besides buildings.

I’m at death at the drive in the sequel part 3, and it says the werewolves don’t show up until you hit part 4… the problem is, I just have to complete one more cannon ball to finish part 3, but my prop shack is full. If I don’t get to part 4 there will be no werewolves to use cannonballs on…yet if I don’t make 1 more cannonball I’ll never get to part 4….. it’s crazy lol! What do I do? I can’t pay money to unlock more room, so do I just not get to play anymore?? It just stuck. The prop shack is full of cannonballs that are already made, but I have nothing to use them on to make more room in the prop shack. 😦

Ok nevermind… even though the faq said the werewolves don’t come until you begin part 4, I went back into the game and had 2 werewolves to shoot 🙂
So problem solved. I don’t how, but I’m glad lol.

I am stuck here too! I have 20 balloons and 9 cannons but I am unable to ‘queue’ them as no room?! What can I do too?!?!

Depends. If your QUEUE is full, as only 6 at a time…wait til some finish so you can make more.
If you’re at CAPACITY then you just gotta wait til you use the items.

I have just levelled up for 4 so now I have vampires etc. For some reason it will not allow me to throw any of the garlic cloves I have at the bats. I click toss garlic and the screen changes to a large target over the bats. The screen freezes and I can’t do anything. I have to close the game down to reset it! Help!

I am one film reel away from getting the Cat from the theatre. I have 99. But now I see I have to also turn in soda cups instead.??? I will never get that in 24 hrs. Help, what do I do?

Did you see that if you bring up all of your Halloween guys from last year….Weed, Diane Simmons, Francis, Slutty Cat Meg, Ghostbuster Clevland, Pink Brian, etc., you can send them to the movies to get 3D glasses? I LOVE this!!

Argh! I upgraded by mistake and now have the new film and don’t want it! I can’t trade in my popcorn on its own anymore, I need to use drinks as well but I need 27 of them to get 10 reels. Why can’t I trade popcorn anymore? I have 89 film reels and I was saving up to get the pumpkin thing and then slasher cat, was going to get it tomorrow and now I feel like I’ll never be able to get it! How do I get garlic to kill the bats to get a single flippin drink?!? 😦 not happy!

What is going on!!!!? I was collecting popcorn to unlock the pumpkin and slasher cat, then all of a sudden to get movie reels I need 60 popcorn and now sodas too. This has bought my game to a grinding halt. How can tiny co think this is fair.
