With this New Phase 2 for the Event, comes many New Questlines. Questlines like the Main one for Week 2 of the Event, Death At The Drive-In The Sequel.

Lil Tip: If you are using the Playground to get Garlic Cloves for the Bats, make sure you don’t have the Snowy Playground Skin like I did for 24hrs. You will NOT get any Garlic from it!

Hi. I was under the impression that as long as I didn’t look at the projection booth page with Slasher Cat, the timer would never start. Well after days of anticipation, here I am with 100 reels. I click on projection booth, and over to Slasher Cat page for the first time since I placed Pumpkin Tower. Expired. I am beyond disappointed. Between that and repairing the car and starting that timer immediately because I had no idea it was timed, I’m just about done with this event, and it’s a shame because for the first few days I was having a blast with it.

It’s too late, I blew all my reels on all the other crap in the projection booth. Now I’m a day behind on collecting for Patty even though I was sitting on the reels to drop the buildings that collect for her. I have no faith that they would have reactivated Slasher Cat for me anyway (have they ever reactivated a timer for any player in your experience?). Based on the way they manage their game it seems they have no real concern for their players. We play their game around the clock and its just one punishment after the next from them.

Yes. Many times. And dealing with SEVERAL Game Houses my entire life, they are by far the ones that care the most about their Players and respond. It is slower due to they are still small, but it is there.

I guess we’ll see. I just contacted them with my issue, asking them to refund the three booth decos I just placed and give me Slasher Cat. I’m correct in thinking that we could go to the booth, just not back to page one to activate his timer right? I have been explicitly holding off on viewing his page until I had enough reels. Sorry to vent here, I’m just so salty about this.

I get the anger. I really do. ANY taps on the booth once the Tower was placed would trigger the timer. ANY at all. But it should have NOT just Expired by Moving to Phase 2. So I am not sure fully your situation, but if something wrong did happen that should not have, they do need to be made aware. Each Player is case by case, so their action in return will vary. It is always worth a try to reach out to them, just know response may take a lil bit. Just watch out for it and if nothing in 5 days, send another and continue every 5 days until a response is given.

Did it disappear for all at the start of phase two? I don’t think I clicked the booth until a couple days into it. Either way, they really should put timer info front and center if there’s one going on. It’s not right to pull the wool over our eyes like this.

Is the cloud of smoke on top of them when it hits? Are they in the circle in the middle of your crosshairs when it drops?

Yes, it shows at the top that 1-2 flocks hit. However occasionally no prize. Sometimes 4 flocks hit and one prize given. At least 3 times no prizes so far.

Is there a trick to using the Cannons to shoot the werewolfs, because most of the time, in the half second it takes for me to tap on the werewolf and tap the fire button, the werewolf has moved out of range of the cannon.

Like the Unholy Nuns… Try to place it in FRONT of them so they are walking INTO the Kill Zone so it gives you some time. Me… I eliminated all my roads and only have a small patch to trap them in an area I can target them and Vampires easier.

I too do this with the vampires but since a lot of the characters and werewolves stand on the little patch of road also it’s so crowded I click the vampires and end up clicking something else by mistake in between vampires & by the time I get out of that the bats have dispersed. Lol. It’s pretty amusing actually. I should not get as mad as I do about virtual bats fleeing from my garlic bombs too quickly.. This game has a way about it! You can love it and hate it all at the same time! 😤

Anyone else having trouble purchasing clams? My screen keeps saying “communicating with store” but never connects. Tried to restart phone. Never had problems purchasing before.

If I run into that with Google or Apple… I exit game. Log out of the market, reset device, log back into market… then relaunch the game. It usually works.

Anyone else having garlic bomb problems? I click on the button to bring up the crossbow. The. I click “toss garlic bomb” and it zooms in a bit and brings up a giant cross hair that floats around the screen. But I can’t do anything else. It just floats there with no way of actually throwing the bomb. I can’t back out of it either. I have to close the game completely and reopen it

With only 2 Scythes so far, I am severely doubting I will unlock Death anytime soon. Being Extra Rare, I am sure they are “dropping as intended” (rolleyes) Hopefully TinyCo will change Part 6 of the Questline or many will undoubtedly be unable to advance to next week since there is a Death task we will all be stuck on for some time. If not, the event might as well be over, since will not be paying 420 clams for Death.

Problem: Purchased cannon balls with clams and crafted eight overnight in the movie prop shack so they would be ready in the morning. Then I got to the point in the questline where it is asking me to create three. Since I can’t use the ones I crafted (no werewolves yet as I am on Part 3 and none will spawn yet) to make room to create three more I think I am kinda in flux. I sent an in-game message but with the holiday weekend I don’t see help until Tuesday afternoon at the earliest, if there even is help for me. No Patty (started timer because I bought extra stuff to get her and thought I was good) and four days in flux. So I spent quite a few clams to set myself up to do everything since there is so much to do and I clearly got way ahead of myself.
What do I do now other than sit and wait and watch the Patty timer and the weekly challenge timer click away?

Ive collected 8 cannons in movie prop shack but am only on death at the drive in part 3 where u need to collect 3 cannons but as my capacity is full i can no longer create more or use cannons as no werewolves i have messaged them in game just wondering if anyone else is having this problem ?!?!?

I like the update! and love that they dropped the number of popcorn needed from 105 down to 80…THANKS for that Tiny Co.!!!! Wish Garlic would spawn a little more frequently, but having it come from buildings we already have was a huge bonus! Hey, they gotta make their money somewhere. I get impatient with the long tasks only because I enjoy playing and cant wait to see what’s next! It’s just as well though or i’d never put the dang ipad down.

I thought things would be hard after the popcorn trade in switched to the soda but now I realise that soda can be collected from werewolves as well as the bat shooting I feel a lot more positive.

Just to be clear. In week one I only need to shoot nuns and save Lois to get popcorn for reels. But in week 2 i need sodas or sodas and popcorn? Or is there still basic option of say 45 popcorn at level 4 for 5 film but soda for 10 and both for 12??
Does slasher cat still attack Lois on week 2 so you need to keep Peter free to clear her or is the werewolf replacing that?
Find that 1 of 3-4 nuns keeps walking instead of standing for xbow! And the stupid bow is more likely to fire than move! Annoying when i waste a balloon when i tried to move the stupid bow! Except for this and the fact that i leveled up before getting enough films to get slasher cat, weeks events not too bad! Still trying to get surpluss of balloons. Best ive been is +4.

OK…finished some questline and I got my first werewolves. You get a ton of soda when you kill them but they move really fast so if you don’t strike right after you tap them you waste a cannon.

I’m able to put characters in storage but only some don’t have that option. Now should I remove them all so that if they change into warewolves it woulD be a lot of them that I really don’t need or do they only have specific character that will turn so that’s why we can’t store certain ones. If that’s the case then I should just leave only the ones I need then. Can you verify if that is true, thank you

Are we going to have to unlock EVERY movie shack item before being able to access each new phases prizes? And will werewolves be active for the entire event? If so, I can’t wait for it to be over because it’s impeding on my main quest lines for District 10. So far, Death is the only cool addition I think.

Do not know as I can’t predict each Phase. As to District 10… it is here to stay. Limited Event is not. So my focus is on the Event… not something that’s around for life of the game. 😉

Hi Bunny! I’m still collecting for slasher cat (havnt had reels since the update as I don’t have werewolves yet). Do you think I should just give up on slasher cat and let the timer begin (and expire) and move on or I’d the cat worth it? Does it offer anything task wise? I’m only at 50 reels.. gotta buy pumpkin tower too so I’m really at 30 reels for slasher cat.

It depends on if YOU really want him in the game. That is a choice option for each Player. Would he really be worth it to you to have 3 months from now? Or do you have yoru site set on other items?
So far he helps on Silver Cannonballs on Level 6

heyimsteven, how many Reels do you have? If you’re about 80+ I say stick with it if you’re on Week 2. Work on progressing in the game to get where you’re shooting Werewolves. Once you get over that hump you’ll get enough Soda to unlock Slasher Cat with ease with all the Popcorn already stored.

I’m sure this has already been posted, but here is a tip on hitting big colony of bats. Save at least one garlic bomb. As soon as you log back in after a couple of hours, immediately go tap on the three draculas. Make sure they changed to a colony of bats and quickly bomb the area. 9+ on two separate occasions now.

I know you and Alissa have a lot on your plates atm and Alissa will have even more very soon, so perhaps this is something you could have handled by another “Want to be and Addict?”
One thing I thought was cool and I have not seen in a long time was the “Dear TinyCo” Post I remember seeing way back when.
I get that Tinyco has there own website and people can contact them directly, but just as you have a WTD section where people can vent there frustrations with the game, it would be nice to have a Dear Tinyco that after say, 5 days was forwarded to Tinyco so they could see what all of the “Addicts” of there game would really like to see implemented into the game.
Lets face it,, you and Alissa have the Ear of TinyCo because they realize that “Addicts” is “THEE” website that thousands of the people who play this game come to first and often so when you and Alissa speak, they listen because they know that you are not just speaking for yourself you are speaking on behalf of thousands of players (It reminds me of the Family guy episode, “Ratings guy” where Peter stole like 100 Nielsen boxes so he could decide what show were on TV and they did things he wanted)
You and Alissa are like Peter (in a good way lol) in that you two have a lot more influence then just a regular player because you are not just passing on to Tinyco what you personally would like to see,, but what 1000’s of players are echoing.
So if you two fine ladies could have a “Dear TinyCo” then people could say what they would like added/subtracted/changed in the game, people could click the like button and the ideas that seem reasonable and have been liked the most can be forwarded to TinyCo, and then TinyCo might look at these suggestions with a little more vigor, because they are coming from the “Addicts” Site.
If you and Alissa are too busy you could possibly pass this particular assignment off to one of the “Want to be and Addict” volunteers.

The totals required for popcorn and soda, mainly popcorn, keep changing. First it’s 80 popcorn and 25 sodas and an hour later it’s 105 popcorn and 25 sodas. Is there some reason these totals keep changing? Last weeks popcorn started at 30 I believe and ended up around 80 at the end of the week.

I have some issues: i do not have the pumpkin house yet (and i dont have death). The quest line of phase 2 started (with the lady in the trunk) but the option for changing 35popcorns for 5 reels disappeared. The vampires only generate a few times and thats an issue because i cant get soda to get the pumpkin house.
Does anyone have this problem? If you do please tell me. (Just for the info: i bought mike myers also) tech support goes slow..

I (probably some of you have as well)discovered that the vampires seem to stick to the roads. I therefore removed most of them to be able to t(r)ap many vampires at once, then hurry to use the garlic bomb before the bats spread too far. Got 10 sodas from one bomb that way, and a “Double digit payout” message.

I just spoke to TinyCo and it should NOT start his timer or lock you out of getting the Tower or him… if it does, send me a screenshot right away and let them know ASAP.

Even though I knew when the weekly challenge would pop, sadly I had no choice but to tap on Peter in order to finish the task he was on. Not at all ready to start and unfortunately unavoidable.

I went to sleep with 2 werewolves and awoke to 10 werewolves. I actually wish they would spawn a bit less frequently. Which means that i probably won’t have them spawn ever again 🙂

Yeah. The downside is that everyone who can get scythes to unlock death is now a werewolf, as are most of the people who can generate water balloons for the nuns. I think a few of the garlic producers are werewolves as well.
So, it seems like just about everything is bound behind the silver balls.
It is a little tricky sorting through the werewolves to find the ones who are on tasks I need completed.
At least I don’t have to worry about keeping up with the production queue, as it sits empty much of the time. 😉

I will look in the latest soldier of fortune magazine ads for the drop spot and times then, and speakin of pics I got one more heading your way!( I have the habit of shooting off at the mouth before I take time to think of how it might come off then whatever mental tick I have makes me rethink it until I’m all paranoid and all hahaha ……… And gotta socialize more:( but people drive me crazy heheheeeee)

Did anyone else notice that all of the characters from last Halloween now have tasks to get 3d glasses? Ghostbuster Cleveland, Freddy Krueger, Witch Connie, Duck Stewie, etc. There’s about half a dozen characters in my movie house right now earning glasses. Thank TinyCo for finally pulling characters from past events!

What to do, I’m torn between using clams to get ghostbusters goodies or getting Michael Myers. I’m getting a kick out of this since I had missed last Halloween hun. Fingers crossed that Freddy or Jason pop up in the future clam gamble feature.

Give them time. They are not instant. It is just them in house. Not thousands of call center reps worldwide… so give them time to get to you in the line of others writing in. 😉

I like to use clams through a lot of things. I finished hours ago and this popped up hours ago probably about 6hrs ago. Alright if there is any way I could show you the snapshot of my issue it might clear it up. Not sure how to do that though

You are saying two different things though…. Props… are just props. There is a Capacity vs Queue in there. Capacity is how many total in Queue and in play you can have.
Queue will ONLY ever be 6 at a time. Then when they are done, you can Queue up more til you are at CAPACITY.
Not sure what you mean about items locked as we only have TWO in the Props active right now.

I am talking about where you spend your movie reels for rewards.
The 3rd one is obtained and in my quahog. The 4th one is locked and does not give me an option to unlock it.

I know what Tyler is saying. Yes…there is a check on the tree…but a lock on the dark library so you can’t move forward. I’m not sure but I think the problem is with using clams to get Patty. It gives the dark library out of order and locks it. This happened to me as well and a lot of others I have seen.

Anyone else not having their vampires spawn. I have had them once and now nothing but nuns for the few hours.

How many you have in your game? I know they swap between the two. And not right back and forth.

I have the same issue. Vampires spawned only once at the start of the phase today. Every spawn after that has been nuns. I have not been able to earn any sodas or film since the initial batch of vampires was cleared.

Hooray! New vampires finally started showing up this morning. I checked hourly yesterday from 4pm to 2am and only nuns. This morning at 7am there was a new batch and a second one is now on the way. Not sure if a fix pushed out or if it was just really bad luck yesterday.
