Note From Bunny: This post was brought to you by the generous help of one of our very own Addicts Readers ! Thanks!!
In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?
Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?
In this post, I will be covering the origin of Michael Myers (for his character profile, click HERE). Why is he in our games? Was he actually in the Family Guy series? Why does he have creepy music but no voice? Let’s take a look at the TV episodes to find out.
Season 10, Episode 13: Tom Tucker: The Man and His Dream
Peter and Brian are sat watching the news, in which Tom Tucker is wearing a face mask – as a result of the Make-A-Wish kid in the studio, “who, as you’ll find out as the show goes on, is quite a cougher”.
Joyce Kinney remarks that she hasn’t seen Tom in a mask since he went under the stage name George P. Wilbur. Peter is amazed to hear this, as George P. Wilbur is “the guy who played Michael Myers in Halloween 4, the greatest movie of all time. I’ve only seen that movie about a thousand times, how could I not have noticed that!?”
Peter rushes to the DVD player to check, and Tom’s upbeat voice is heard in a scene with Michael Myers looking pretty scary: “Good evening, I’m Michael Myers. I have enormous psychological problems and I’m going to take them out on you!”
As Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers is Peter’s favorite movie, and Tom’s portrayal of Michael Myers was “the most brilliant performance ever in the history of everything”, he visits Tom in his dressing room and gets his DVD signed. Tom then explains how he failed to make it big in Hollywood, so Peter decides to help: “you’ve brought me so much joy over the years as that loveable murderer of teenagers, and I wanna return the favour”. Peter tries to encourage him to return to Hollywood (“You’re better than this, you’re Halloween 4 better!”), but Tom is reluctant at first.
However, after having to deliver the ‘top story’ of the Rhode Island Historical Society’s new arrival of a cast iron oak handled colonial bed sheet warmer (there’s only so much a news reporter can take…), Tom changes his mind. The rest of the story focuses on Peter being Tom’s agent, before he ditches Tom for James Woods (who then ditches Peter). Incidentally, some voice clips from this episode may sound familiar, including Tom’s “Ok, there it is”, “And I think that’s the gist of it”, “Am I having a stroke?” and “You betcha!”
Season 13, Episode 15: Once Bitten
Michael Myers also gets a quick mention in this episode. In a scene at The Clam, Cleveland looks nervous after seeing Halloween II, so Peter tells a newly-obedient Brian to look outside and guard against Michael Myers. Cleveland gives some good advice: “If he seem like he dead, he ain’t dead!”
As an extra geeky note, after a bit of ‘oogling’, it turns out that George P. Wilbur also played Michael Myers in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (the sixth Halloween film) and was credited as a stunt player in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. Also, if you’re wondering why he doesn’t have a voice in-game, it’s because he doesn’t speak in the original films (not including the reboots), and the creepy music you hear instead is his theme – although I wish he had Tom Tucker’s line from the episode as well.
There you have it, a scary serial killer from a series of slasher films has made his way into our games, and also appeared in the TV show.
What do you think of Michael Myers? Will you purchase him, or have you already? Wish he had his Tom Tucker line? Glad they decided to bring him in? Got any favorite tasks? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

There you have it, a cool post from an Addict Reader. Thanks again DanAnsom!!

Watched a couple of Halloween movies this week with the release of Michael Myers in the game. I didn’t buy him though. Not impressed with his visual tasks in the game. I was hoping for at least a dual task.

I brought him! Though I feel like they could’ve extended the piano music a biiig more, it feels incomplete without the last part-

I think they were only allowed to legally have that bit and nothing more.

I purchased him. He’s cool and I don’t regret it, but I honestly wasn’t too impressed with his visual tasks. I do however really like Hellraiser’s drinking task, it’s pretty funny
