Hey there Slashers!
Bouncing by really quickly to let you know that Phase 4 launch will be delayed. Most like around 12hrs. So 7-9AM Pacific 10/23 (Tomorrow).
So keep on earning those items you want. Work on the Characters you want. As I will be in training on location at my new job, I may not get all the details right out… but I at least will give you the General basics of ANY Phase release below.
EVENT BASICS
- First up, you will have to be on Part 9 of Death at the Drive-in III
- You will need to be at Scream Level 11 or Higher
- Play the New Event Phase Questline to access ALL Content. With every new Event Phase there are “unlock points” for many items, so play through the Main Questline in order to see it all. I will Update Unlock points. if any, as I find them.
- DON’T REPAIR ANY CARS!!! If the next Meg Friend launches with Phase 4, I can pretty much say if you do repair the Car a timer will start. So … wait
- The LAST item in the Movie Projection Booth, if like previous Phases, will have a 24hr timer triggered by unlocking the item in front of it then tapping on the Booth again.
Now with that out of the way, I wanted to recap a quick few items I see in the comments.

For those on ONLY iOS 9, there was an Update to the the game (1.13.5) earlier this week that added a feature to your game. Just tap on Menu, then you will see it. Replay Kit, once you tap on it to check it and make it active, it essentially lets you take quick short videos of your game play. This may come in use for some of you wanting to track game play actions, issues, or just to show up what you are up to in your game.
It may even help show others how you performed a specific task or function. Again, I will cover this in a lot more detail in a separate post, but that is the Basics of it.
WEREWOLVES CHANGES
Many of you now notice that Werewolves do not spawn as often starting in Phase 3. That is due to the other Characters you need to get Movie Props for and create, so to see a drop is normal. Look more for about 1 every 6 hrs now. More if you bought the Torture Chamber for Clams.
Second item, the “follow”. Many were complaining their Characters did NOT drop the Materials from their tasks when turned back from being a Werewolf. Due to this, when you turn a Character whose task was completed, the game will now follow them to that location so you can wait for it to sync and tap to clear the Check Mark. If you do not care for this feature, find another task or item nearby and tap on it to pull back out of this function. Just know that you will want to still go locate them and clear their task. So in the long run it may take you the same time to go find them later anyway.
As for hitting them, PURPLE = GOOD. Make sure they are walking INTO the Kill Zone Circle.
HEADLESS HORSEMEN
As noted in the Phase 3 Main Rundown post, Headless Horsemen take TWO hits. They start out at 50HP. How will you know? Look in the top Right Corner after tapping on a Headless Horsemen. What HP does it say?
50HP= Headless Horseman has not been hit at all
25HP= Headless Horsemen has been hit ONCE. (see pic above)
After the 2nd hit, the Horseman will light up in flames and go away. Then you will get the 12 Chocolate Bars Payout.
As for hitting them, PURPLE = GOOD. Make sure they are walking INTO the Kill Zone Circle.
There you have it. A bit more time before Phase 4 hits and a few Q&A items. Hang in there in the mean time. I will do all I can to post the details when they hit tomorrow morning. Make use of the extra time. Maybe gather a few more items. Get a few more Materials. Get things ready to use for new items… like 3D Glasses, Concession Items (as we won’t know til tomorrow what we need), items for Movie Props, etc.

checked all my horsemen before i shot them and they said hp 25 before i shot, then still 25 after, one shot didnt work… im on the timed quest to kill 12 or whatever….i hope its not gonna stop me from completing

Grrrrrrr, bats released now at random so the maze is less efficient. Given how few sodas they are now worth I probably won’t bother with them as much now.

The werewolves slowed down for a few days, but they are right back up there where they were previously.
For anyone thats behind on levels and has a bunch of 3d glasses, I would recommend buying the mystery machine (20 3d glasses). It think initially it was a decoration, but in the last few days it’s become a building with scream point drops. I have 4 of them now.

So as this is the second delay in delivery of a phase, any plans to extend the event? Historically that has been a mixed answer and the more recent events have been a “no”. I know they’re trying to load balance the gameplay but as most players are, I’m roughly 3-4 days behind. Mostly due to requirements to continue on main questline and item collection in the projection booth. I have seriously felt that purchasing of the premium characters have not been of great benefit, though I’m sure they been a tiny bit helpful in stockpiling enough items to get through some character questlines. Not really complaining at this point, just hope they fix stuff to help everyone get caught up. Good luck all and thanks to B for providing great updates. The roadmaps are invaluable!

I would like to see them plan either a one week break between events, or have some mini events ready to go that could be easily pushed back till the next break so they do have flexibility to extend by a few days without screwing up events that have hard deadlines.
Or even some kind of simple clam event between big events. Just random series of tasks for any random char/costume you have, that could result in a few clams per day.
Easy to delay/shorten/skip if an event needs a few days more, gives a purpose to chars in storage without betting unfair to newbies, something to do so we aren’t bored, and it’s pretty much code it up once, and then turn it on or off as needed.

I noticed that the Petergeist Household skin is not showing up in the “shopping cart” area. I still have the twins and the black clam to unlock but working on getting more reels. Is it still 500 reels for the building skin?

Just got to it yesterday. 3190 clams 😐 so basically $90. Yikes. And yet I saw a couple people got it on the poll. I got Buddy Cianci because it didn’t have a skin but griffin house already has like five and already has a Halloween skin. Just don’t see how it’s worth it

The 3D glasses payout has changed drastically! It took forever for me to afford Joe’s house skin, was 6 away and this morning all of a sudden After I got it I also had enough for the hospital skin and some decos and still have some!!! Yay! Wish I had a counter for them to know how many I have left though.

On Facebook version, Ive noticed my kill circles are like off. like the end of it is where the launcher graphic is… kinda makes it harder to aim. luckily im a Ace Sniper with them things.
Also on there when i collect items they fly up to the top right. but since the other day the rectangles that show what the item is for and ur progress arent on the far edge they start at about 2/3 the screen over. Anyone noticed these 2 issues or is it just me?

Was 260 for scream face and 140 for Patrick When they popped up in my game the other day….also, I posted a comment earlier that I still had them both….they’re gone now and clams added back to my total

So, I didn’t need to be in phase 3 to buy Chucky, but I need to be finished the main quest line for phase 3 and I neeed to be in phase 4 to buy Patrick. I’m sorry, bit that is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard about this game so far. What makes him so different from the other premium characters that you actually need to be in phase 4 to get him? I’m not even in phase 3 yet, so I won’t be able to get him at all until the event is like, an hour away from ending. Tinyco. if you’re reading this, thanks.

Who said he’s premium? I sure didn’t. What I DID say is he and Ghostface were released too soon and WHEN they arrive we will know truly what it will take to get them in game. ie… he is NOT a premium Character. So… You’ll know soon WHY you need to be Phase 4. 😉

I see now. I was saying he is premium because he was premium when he was released early. I’ll be lucky of I get him at all. Oh, and I can’t access the phase 3 prize section in the projection booth, or whatever it’s called, even though I’ve upgraded to the phase 3 movie.

Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere. I looked. The concession stand pay out list two amounts for a single selection. Ex: 15 film reels in exchange for 25 popcorn + 15 sodas = 12 film reels. I have a screenshot. Not sure if this is worthy to report to Tiny Co or not.

I noticed now that characters change back from wolves to people consula changed back today.
Also why is it delayed I wish they would say because they have a whole week to release it on time. The last week will be so rushed as we will only have 5 days to do it

I’m fine with the delay, if it’s just 12 hours or less, I just really hope they don’t again make it required to have every other projection booth item unlocked again, but sure it will be unfortunately.

Not really surprised there’s another delay, just that it took until almost 6 hours past the expected start time for there to be a mention of it. Now I can pick some overnight tasks to send everyone and shut down the game for the night..

I would, but I think I have my slots all filled with items to get stuff and to get reels with all counting so there’s nothing much to do. I have at least 15 of each- so meh. But maybe there is more I can do idk. Lol

Lol. Not to sound like a rant BUT the last time they delayed a Phase almost a day they made it impossible for most people to catch up with it because they made it harder for people to get reels. So I don’t know if I am going to like how Phase 4 is going to turn out since they delayed Phase 2 the same way.

Instead of jumping to conclusions, let’s let it hit first… THEN see how it plays out. I was worried the delay on 2 would impact 3. In fact 3 was easier than 2… so there’s that. Like I always say, no reason to grab the pitchforks and torches for something that doesn’t even exist yet. Let it first play out, then determine what will happen.
Then there’s that “PLEASE don’t turn EVERY SINGLE ADDICTS POST into a rant/vent session for TinyCo…who does NOT own, run, or take care of this site”. There is other helpful information in this post, so let’s not just gloss over that. Or the fact I stayed up late to get these details out to readers. Vent where venting belongs. Keep help… helpful. Know what I mean? 😉 🙂
