Here’s mine for this week:
–WHAT THE DEUCE… SLOW DOWN!! I don’t mind a Challenge, I don’t mind a lot to do, but this is just getting to be TOO much. Need to rewind back to not having to be in the game all the time to get something. Love the ideas. Love the animation. Love the Theme (Halloween is my favorite). Just… a lil less. That or make it a longer Event. Or even a District. I really like all this stuff and would love to have it in my game, but… I just don’t have that kind of time. No one really does. I addressed it before, but the “12 step Program” of earning things is not something I like terribly. Just one n done, Please. NO MORE 12 STEPS!!
–WHAT THE DEUCE… Mind won’t shut up at night, making me VERY tired for training, making me constantly second guessing EVERYTHING I do. I am passing it all so far with 100%, but still… I just need to sleep more than 3 hrs. AAAAHHHHH!!! ALL WORK AND NO SLEEP MAKE BUNNY PSYCHO!!!

I gotta agree with you Bunny. Dear TinyCo: SLOW DOWN!!! This 12 step business is really getting on my nerves. I actually DO buy clams, but in the past I used them for premium characters I really wanted. Now I have to use them just to catch up! Hell, I’m not even to scream level 11 yet and it’s already Sunday! I’ve gotta say I am disappointed at the way the last two events have gone. I play this game religiously, and even I can’t keep up with these last two events. I get TinyCo needs to make money, and I happily buy clams to support that, but as of late it just isn’t as much fun when you have to dump money into the game just to advance the storyline.

What the deuce is wrong with me that I still fall for the tricks?
Things will always feel impossible at first to induce panic so we spend money. Then, a little over halfway into the event, things get easier. Tinyco knows the exact time to do it to maximize earnings and then seem like good guys for appearing to listen to feedback when a lot of us are on the verge of quitting.
I know this is their business model, it’s apparently too hard to entice people to pay by making it fun. But still, every event I get frustrated, forgetting the pattern. Why can’t I learn, or just stop playing?

I’m comically behind at this point — just barely got to level 8 today but it still hasn’t unlocked phase 3, presumably because I haven’t got the pumpkin pyramid yet. The drop rate on sodas is basically impossible — bats are utterly useless, and silver balls are slow — so it takes most of the week to unlock one item with reels. I refused to buy any of the currency generators because there’s just too many currencies in these events now, and dropping $15 for each one is just insane.
This game has turned into a complete pay2win grindfest. I took a break after mobsters and came back for Peterpaloosa (which wasn’t too bad), but I guess Tinyco just aren’t learning the error of their ways, or maybe there’s still just too many folks buying clams even with these kinds of events. Might be time to just uninstall and be done with it.

Where to begin on what hasn’t been said yet about his event. I am a freemium player, and have over 8 million dollars earned, but have nothing to spend them on. I don’t like the additional step to earn cannons or water balloons. On a 1 for 1 drop you should be able to use them as soon as they drop. Also the inconsistent trade rates to earn movie reels. I have a ton of popcorn, and have no idea if I can use it when I go to the concession stand, It seems like they are cramming too much in and I can’t keep up. I never had a chance to unlock the first of Meg’s friends (Patty?). I just got slasher bait Lois unlocked today. I have not had a sniff of the second friend, death’s dog, or any currency beyond popcorn or soda. I can’t wait for this to wrap up.

Just for the future and TincyCo to think about this, this whole event is so shoddily made and poorly though out that it’s almost embarassing if it wouldn’t be so maddening.

WTD! Has anyone gotten one of the house skins in the last few levels of the event without spending a ton of money? I’ve already spent $150 for this event alone. I just gave up on getting the house skins because I don’t have endless money. Tinyco is alienating their paying players now, that’s not good. And now there’s a 12 hour timer to get the cyclops house for a “special gift.” I have no idea what the “special gift” is, but 120 film reels in 12 hours is impossible without wasting all of my money. I understand them wanting to make money from the game, but this is ridiculous. I’m much more inclined to give up my money if I don’t feel like someone is trying to squeeze every last penny out of me. Thanks for letting us rant!

Still think this event sucks. Exchange rates for movie reels is horrible. It purposely hides what you have in inventory. Have no popcorn but lots of sodas? Then popcorn it is! Have sodas but no choco bars? Then choco bars it is. Bordering on cruel. The mess to get Patrick, Ruth, etc unlocked is just ridiculous. Checked the addicts to see what was needed and saw that there is a WHOLE lot of cr*p to do before touching the Ruth car (Thanks for the heads up, Bunny) I could go on & on & on. Fun factor:0. Annoyance & Aggravation:10.

To anyone that purchases clams, in any amount, you have absolutely no right to complain in anyway, shape or form about the game. When are you gonna realize that as long as you keep sending TinyCo money, they are not gonna change a thing. Same goes for those “casual” players, your not gonna get anything accomplished if your only going on the game a couple times a day. I’m tired of hearing how they’re only a small company. Facebook was was started in a collage dorm room and its a global fanomanon and its FREE, PERIOD……
I’ve started playing almost a year ago, logged on to the game every 1-2 hours and spent anywhere from $20-$100 a month on clams. I could play as a freemium, but had to grind to get everything. If I wanted to speed things up, or simple just to have a particular item, I would buy premium content. I really enjoyed PLAYING the game.
As time and events went by, I’ve seen a major change, not only in the overall dynamics of the game, but in the “quality” of the product, ( errors, glitches, lock outs, etc etc).
Now a days, you can’t accomplish much of anything as a freemium. Sure, you don’t have to buy any premium items, but if you want to accomplish anything, your forced to. There’s always that 1 items that you can only get from 1 character or place, its a rare drop and the time for that task takes the better have of the day, not to mention, we all know how drop rates are. So, you buy a premium item and it was really no help either.
I understand using the same Main characters, but to many items per character and to many quests/tasks overlapping each other. You have to choose which one to do as a freemium and either not do the other, bu you have to, so you pay to do the rest.
The game used to be fun and I didn’t even mind doing a grind to get everything, but anymore, its not fun, even going on every hour all day and setting alarms gets you nowhere. It’s way to repetitive. It’s the same characters doing the same tasks to collect either way to many an item or for way to long of a time. On top of all that, the add in these 24 hour or longer tasks or quests that need he same characters.
There is nothing Fun about this game anymore. It’s like the playing the lottery, if you don’t play, you win nothing, if you do play, you still know your not gonna win anything, you might get a little something here or there, but the chances of anything substantial is unlikely.

Since I allowed slasher cat to expire i can’t craft anything else which makes playing this event useless now. Is this normal or should I report it?

If you got everything before the cat, you should be fine. The Questline will take you to next levels

The questing requires me to place the catacombs, but they are no longer available. I am literally collecting film reels and can’t do anything with them, 😖

I’m still playing, i know i posted I’m quitting this game last week but it’s too addicting. My what the deuce is…..I’m still in phase 3 even though I’m on this game every hour or two unless zzzzzzzzzzzzzz’s. O.k. in phase 2 is when i fell behind becouse i rarely had anything to craft cause everyone R werewolfs. Now in phase 3 i have overabundance of things to craft but still falling behind and not getting reels fast enough now i know why. It’s becouse the pumpkins are taking two long to craft. come on tiny co you should make them a half hour or just one pumpkin to take out a headless horseman. I still need 220 reels to finish page 3 at this rate I’ll be in phase 4 at the end of the event lol. Keep up the good work bunny. I’ve been finding myself hanging out with alissa in Springfield a heck of a lot. It’s more fun.

I haven’t had fun in this game since the star trek event. So I’m probably about to quit this event. I’m already two weeks behind. But I bought a character, so tinyco will see it as a success on paper. #justtryingtohaveagoodtime

WTD: I recently unlocked Slasher Lois. The next time went to load my game, the whole thing re-set itself. I mean, the whole game is back to the beginning. I was on level 39. Now level 0 with the beginning animation, townhall, chicken fight, and Peter wants to walk me through the tutorial. I’m clearly logged in because I can see the Amazon Game Circle badges (I’m playing the game on my Amazon Kindle Fire tablet)

I don’t like the concession stand. I don’t like it I tell ya. I is a rip off, by keep change trade value do to your scream level. Makes it harder to get reel and now has put me back a weak or more. Even though things are open, I cannot move on until I get death’s dog.

Well I really only have one WTD for this event as I have gotten everything I actually wanted and they gave me pinhead too! It’s really hard not to hate the movie prop shack seeing as how I now have 92 water balloons, 68 silver cannonballs, 96 pumpkins and 26 barrels even though I literally have my shack pumping out props 24/7! I mean even if I don’t set my shack to do all hour+ props I wake up every 2-3 hours when i sleep and usually end up checking it. I haven’t even unwolfed a lot of my characters that collect water balloons in days otherwise i would have 150+ by now…but like I said that’s my only complaint I have a bunch of slashers running around town and progressing nicely through the event so its not toooo big a deal I guess…

BUNNY (or anyone I suppose): Are there any good clam sales during this event?mi saw one that came with bonus garlic bombs but it didn’t seem very appealing. Are there others later in the event? I’m still on week 2.
Really want Myers and am willing to pay for him, but kind of sad that I need to spend $10. Would like ALL the Haloween characters but no way I’m burning close to $50 for them. There’s no actual gameplay besides tapping and general satisfaction of having them in your town.

Haven’t seen another yet. Honestly I use other methods to get more Clams. Essentially I watch sales locally on gift cards. Anywhere from 15 to 25% off. That really helps. Then if the app market has any additional discounts or “credit” offers I’ll take advantage of those. That way it saves me money and I don’t have to wait for the app to have a sale.

WTD… events. Sure, the events themselves are messy but I have more problems with the space between them. I’ve been playing since a few days after the 1000 Moons/Indiana Jones event started (so almost since day one). There used to be a good two or three weeks between events and then after the 2014 Halloween/Ghostbusters event, I’ve noticed there’s been nothing but event after event after event. SLOW THE HELL DOWN, TINYCO! The long events tend to be very messy to the point of you MUST be on top of things or you’ll have a hard time catching up, spending money is almost mandatory now (thank you rewards sites for the endless supply of iTunes cards to earn), the same seven or eight characters are needed for everything when many people have over 100 characters just walking around or collecting dust in the inventory, and don’t get me started on the mini-events starting up within HOURS of the five week events ending and everyone is trying to recover from event burn out. Can’t it hurt to give us even a 48 hour break between events? Ideally a week but I would’t mind 2 days to give people time to recover and catch up on districts/left over questlines.

I would really appreciate a little break as well, in particular since I still have the regular districts to get through. Finished 8th now, but no time to go for 9 with this event taking everything. Would like at least a few days to work on the regular districts.

The whole hiring process is fairly ridiculous.
I mean, you already had to send characters out on extensive tasks to collect the items. Why punish players by adding another timer to use each item?
I currently have over 20 water balloons and silver balls and over 35 pumpkins, but the hiring process will make most of theses collections useless. It takes 3 hours for 2 pumpkins to kill 1 horseman to get a handful of chocolate bars? Wow, that sounds like such a brilliant plan!
Tiny Co. really needs to do a whole bunch more game simulations before releasing the next major event. So many players have many different issues that seemingly were unseen by the game creators.
On a positive, but also negative note, I really like the cool items you can buy with 3D glasses, but unlike the glow sticks in Peterpalooza, the glasses are very hard to collect. I’ve been saving up for Joe’s Hell House for 2 weeks now and still am about 30 short of the 150 required.

Usually I am not a complainer (and I have enjoyed this event to a point) but there have also been many problems along the way. My thoughts echo what you and most other people are saying Bunny – there has just been way too much going on at once. Nuns, vampires, bats, headless horsemen, ghosts, werewolves… and still another week to go (so there will most probably be another horror as well).
The first problem is the wait time. We have to wait so long for characters to drop items to defeat these horrors and then wait hours again whilst some of these items are crafted painstakingly slowly, one at a time, with many of them taking well over an hour to be prepared.
On top of this, I would have been able to get the skins for the school and the Griffin’s house if TinyCo had actually given us the options to use the popcorn and sodas that we had accrued (most of them being from the premium items I had purchased, that were now just about useless after the first week, almost like throwing good money straight down the toilet and getting nothing in return). Not to mention the exuberant prices of the last items on each page – 300, 500? Where am I to find these reels when most of the popcorn / soda I have can no longer even be used?
It was hard to get anything done when the characters I needed the most (such as Quagmire) were constantly turned into werewolves every 30 seconds. Did they even realise how long it takes to get even ONE silver bullet? I had to spend most of the time obtaining these bullets, putting everything else (including putting the pumpkins which would have been useful to help me get chocolate, which was about my only option in the booth at that point) on hold. When I finally did have enough of the bullets (which was almost never) to temporarily halt the constant werewolf transformations and had the opportunity to craft a pumpkin launcher, I had to craft TWO of them which took hours to do so, just so I could hit one Headless Horseman and get a couple of chocolates in return.
I also think we should have been able to decide what items we wanted to craft from the movie booth. I think many of these items will just be sitting in people’s inventory instead. After spending so long to obtain reels, we should all get more in return than this.
Not to mention the glitches – movie booth timers not working, regular game crashes and so on. When everyone is being timed for so many of these quests / challenges and the game is not operating properly, it is more than a little infuriating.
This event really needed ironing out before being set upon the general public (and making so many loyal players bitterly angry). As I mentioned, I have enjoyed this event, but only to an extent. Thank goodness for you Bunny, you have been the guiding light for so many people throughout this event with the help and time you always give to every one of us!

I am finding the month long events are just too long. After about 2 weeks, I’m ready for the event to be over. I like the mini events they have in between the major events. Tiny Co should focus more on the mini events. The last decent event was the mobster one. The other major events haven’t even been memorable.

Bat spawns are back.
It seemed they disappeared shortly after starting yesterday or the day before whenever it was and went back to vampires, but now I have bats spawning again.

Yes, the glory days of easily and frequently trapping six vampires in a maze and getting 15 flocks of bats hit with one garlic are long gone…. It takes so long to spawn vampires now, I trap and pop them once I get up to two of them. I try to ignore the free roaming bats since I’m a bad shot outside of the maze. And without any freemium way to increase capacity in the prop shack and the long incubation times, I have plenty of materials but no room to make the launchers in a timely manner. So I now have an acute shortage of popcorn, soda, and chocolate. Before I was overflowing with popcorn which was helpful in trading for reels. At least I’m within 50 reels of getting the big ghost ship. But it’s getting harder and harder to actually buy them. Phase 5 might launch before I get to the end of phase 3.
The good news is that I’m within 2 zit creams and 2 retainers of getting Meg’s friends Patty and Esther. The bad news is that the uncommon retainers haven’t dropped in a couple of days….

What the deuce….their events just keep getting worse and worse. The amount of drops that are needed to eliminate event characters that drop something else that you have to use to convert into a different currency. The amount of times that the amounts needed to convert has changed more than I can imagine. It’s absurd.
The only events I feel like they nailed were the Cleveland and Comic Con events. Those were straightforward there wasn’t a million things to do, you didn’t have the same character be needed for 8 different drops making you wonder what you should use them for. It’s just plain ridiculous

Phase 4 my butt! Just started phase 3 yesterday! Have too many What the Deuces to properly WTD right now. And feeling like I don’t give a da** how I am doing with this event. Just too much going on with it.
Anyways….just wanted to say Good Luck with your new job Bunny. You seem to be doing awesome with your training. You will make it through with flying colors. Pretty sure of it. Hang in there.

Well first off I’m at level 3 on the film projection, but I”m still stuck at Phase two of this event. I need over 160 film strips to gain the 60 film strip prize and Slasher Lois. And I haven’t even rescued any of Megs’ friends yet. Honestly I”M WAY BEHIND in this event as it’s Slasher Lois that prevents me from progressing onward.
This is just like the Star Trek the next generation event for me, but much Worse. WTD. 😦

WTD tiny co! I am more then a week behind in this event just got deaths dog out of the projection booth grrrr! I have over 30 water balloon things but the time it takes to make each “weapon” is too long I mean really an hour and a half for the pumpkin launchers and you need 2!!! WTD ! Plus I was click happy and accidentally clicked on Meg’s 1st friend in the car …I’m not doing to bad but 100 stickers really and your only giving me 2 vampires every 5 hours or so?!?
WTD there is way to much going on during this event you need to collect this just to make that to then kill this to maybe get the item you’ve been waiting for. Tiny co needs to slow there roll I still have quest for evil stewie and retep … After this event they need to give us a break just to catch back up having 15+ quest to do and every character you need is already doing something else spread the wealth tiny co I mean jeez would it hurt you guys to make a past premium character actually give us an item… Instead of 3d glasses ….SPEAKING of 3d glasses tiny co needs to let us have that Ollie box again just so I can stock up on items I mean the first time around I got popcorn popcorn and water balloons… Give us Ollie’s box again make it worth 50 3d glasses lord knows I have enough! (Have already written to tiny co about the Ollie box)
And my last WTD (I know I’m rambling) every time quaqmire turns into a werewolf and I shoot him he does not go back to his task I have kept track and I am down at least 5 garlic bombs ( I have already wrote to tiny co about this but I am worried that since earlier in the event my garlic bombs were not adding up they gave me ten free ones… I’m afraid they are gonna think I just want free stuff…which I mean I do but this is something I’ve actually lost! And that stupid slasher cat taking Lois out of her quest to chase her as soon as I put peter on something is really starting to make me mad can we please combine all the weapons and kill slasher cat FOR GOOD!
I also wanted to say you guys do an amazing job and I would be really really really lost without you before I even open my game I come here first just to see what I’m up against in the future! You girls are the best and thank you for devoting your time money and effort to keeping people informed love ya !!

Did you mean the cannon balls when you said garlic bombs because it has to be the cannons (unless it changed with the new phases), also make sure the werewolf is within the circle and has turned purple to be hit.
I’m almost comically far behind. I have 3 slippers left to get Death, I’m still on Phase 2 and I’ve only got 25 reels. I have had to stop exchanging soda for reels the moment I get enough because it almost always defaults to another soda exchange, while I have 408 popcorn stored up. I’ve heard that stocking up a bit more can stop it from defaulting to the one you have the least of.

WTD Where are my werewolves?? First it was holding me back because I couldn’t keep up changing characters back, now I have to actively look for them and I only get about 8 a day (I think) and I’m way behind.
I appreciate Tinyco and all of the hard work the put into this event but I feel like the quality (enjoying the game and how well everything work) is falling behind.

WTD, why does Tinyco keep doing 5 week events when every single time they seem to have not planned it out well at all and it makes everyone angry as all get out.
Tinyco does exceptionally well with there 2 week events.
No major issues.
Layed back easy pace, everyone is happy.
Items are easy to acquire, characters, are fun and easy to unlock.
While there are clam items, most are freemiums, and therefore loved by all.
Gives everyone ample time to sleep/work/have family time.
5 week events are
Poorly planned out–they always seem to have to adjust on the fly.
People get locked out of the events sometimes for 1-2 weeks.
Clam items are nearly always way over priced.
Even freemium items take forever to unlock.
Always the same 4-6 characters used and the rest sit in storage.
Never any consistency with end of event mysteryboxes some yes others no.
How is it you always get a A-B for your 2 week events and get a
C-F on your 5 week events.
I have only been playing since the “Star Trek” event, and every 2 week event has been easy and fun and every 5 week event has just served to have all of your fans ripping their hair out.
How about Tinyco just make 3 week events, most people are burned out after with 3 is over anyway.
3 weeks should be just enough to keep everyone challenged and happy without people wanting to quit playing the game.
I am a Premium player, but I am switching to being a freemium player, 5 week events are just no longer fun.

WTD….. Just spent 150 3D glasses to get the prison. I got it, have it in my inventory but it’s still showing that it’s locked. I thought all I had to do was spend the glasses and it would be mine?

Do you have the actual prison building? The 150 3D Glasses prison is just a skin, and without the prison building it’s useless.

WTD I shot werewolf Joe and let the game follow him back to murder point without touching the screen. Suddenly it jumps to cleveland who gets miraculously cured and the game follows him back to the founding father instead!! Joe is back as a werewolf. Such a weird glitch! I’m top of this, it’s really creepy because cleveland didn’t WALK back.. he was dragged back stock still all the way…

Do you have the regular quohog prison in your game from district 9? It is a skin for it, so you just have to tap it and hit the green arrow to change its look to the Halloween one.

Ive been playing from month 1. I have 4 million + coins (now practically useless) never spent any money on clams but spent the clams I earned on prior quests/ect. I still have about 300 clams just from playing daily.
Ive checked out FamilyGuyAddicts many times to help out with questions I’ve had about various things (thank you very much!)
I have tons of stuff in my inventory. Without FGA I would not know which of my 78 characters (not to mention the different ‘outfits’ which brings the numbers into the mid 100s) do what. I actually have a ton of characters in storage because the time it takes me to send them ALL on activities takes way too long. Also, why send them on activities?? nothing to buy with coins? My level is maxed out too. So why bother? I used to like to log on a few times a day a quickly ‘check’ on my town. Now I have to make sure I have 10 mins plus set aside. or 20 mins ideal for each and every time I log on

This event is hard to describe. I love all the new stuff. I hate the need to put more into inventory to make room for it!! The activities to get reels is completely stupid. Without buying premium items its near impossible to win the weekly challenges. I think Comic Con was the last event that was just barely possible without spending clams. I actually did every one. My wife stopped playing. Her reason was a just one. Its not fun anymore. I keep playing knowing I am not going to unlock everything anymore, Its a bit sad, but I think I am a bit closer to seeing this game like my wife sees it, just not fun anymore.
I long for the days that you could unlock all prizes and characters with logging in two to 4 times a “day” and not setting an alarm to play 24/7!
Maybe someday that will happen, or maybe I will be on the same page as my wife and agree that the game is just not fun anymore.

WTD@ TinyCo having Bats spawn, but the pay out for bombing them is still crappy. What’s the point of killing them when 75% of the time you get no Sodas. They should be set to always 1 Soda per flock. I decided to ignore them and just focus on the Vampires that trun into Bats.
WTD@ characters transforming from being Werewolves to only not even a second later becoming a Werewolf again. I hear the game do a character’s sound file indicating they’re free, but they’re still a Werewolf so I know it must have happened.
WTD@ TinyCo having the game set up that you always need the last object in the Booth to unlock a character. Them doing this has really slowed down my progress. Then on top of that you need that same character to progress on the Event tasks. Right now I need Death’s Dog, who is still 1 Steak away from being released, for every task and its blocking me from Phase 4. I’m just happy the Black Clam drops every hour.
WTD@ TinyCo’s poor programming to cause my good device to be unusable for Family Guy. I tons of error messages on that device and the only solution they can give me is Clear Data, which can’t be done because they have too much crap (6,000+ files in the Family Guy directory) for that device to handle. Also the Clear Data solve is just a temporary fix since in just 2-3 days later the same error pops up again.
So for me to play the game I have to use my old device with a half broken screen, which makes killing Werewolves, Horsemen and now Clowns a pain in the ass to remove, since I have to repeatedly rotate my device to select a target, and then rotate again to press to button to launch the projectile and repeat.

WTD? I just unlocked Slasher Bait Lois 2 days ago. I am WAY behind. And truthfully I couldn’t care less. ALl I have really been doing is the characters I have that aren’t top level, I have been putting them on tasks just to get them to level 15 and then placing them in inventory.
I have upgraded my screen as I am now getting ghosts, but not sure how far behind I am.
The prized do nothing for me, so I am glad I don’t have to check it. I wish they’d slow these events down. Do half the stuff in the allotted time. Maybe have each phase be two weeks and have 3 phases rather than 5 or 6.

I have been playing QFS since last July. In that time I have experienced all the ups and downs that everyone has gone thru. Frustration, anger, sense of accomplishment. But I have never felt a lack of interest, until this event. I have the luxury to be able to play all day. This is the first event that I fell behind in the first week. Then when the second week hit, there were just too many things going on at the same time. At that point, I lost interest.
The whole tedious grind of having to do this to get that to get the other thing n on n on n on……..(I like the “twelve step” line). ENOUGH ALREADY!!! Try something new TinyCo.
One of the things that really sent me over the edge, was, when I assigned Peter to a task. As he’s entering the Griffin house, Lois is getting chased out of the house by the cat. Nice programming, TinyCo.
I can see from the posts that I might be a little ahead of others.(Need 25 reels for the Black Clam and 5 steaks for Deaths Dog to move forward). But, I’m just not feeling the love for this event.

Alright, here is my what the deuce….I am a long time player, since just before the King Butt quest, and unfortunately I haven’t had as much time to play since Christmas. I missed most of the Star Trek event and many if tube ones that came after. Halloween on the other hand is my favorite time of year and I have made as much time as I can to play this event. But I am getting nowhere and it’s really grinding my gears. No matter how hard I try to keep up, I can’t. Then today I tried trading in film reels only to discover that slashed cat expired and it went let me move to the next item in the booth. Plus my game crashes every few minutes and I am constantly reloading. Yikes, what the deuce?

Is anyone still having problems with their drop counter. I just killed 8 warewolfs and 20+ bats and after all was said and done had 75 soda cups including the 7 that I started with.

Bats get you roughly any at all. One or two here and there. Where as Werewolves give you a set amount everytime.

Each werewolf yields 8 soda – 8 x 8 = 64 + 7 that you had = 71.
So yeah, you got 4 soda for all those bats. Yaaay … 😦

This really doesn’t fall into a true WTD rant, but as far as events go, this has been one of the better ones with the glaring exception of the massive week two werewolves problems. That has me behind a couple of days and I am not sure I will catch up unless the final week stuff is light (as it typically has been). I thought I could catch up, but you can only craft so many items in a 24-hour day so you can only collect reels so fast. I like that the position eight timed items are not vital to the game play and just something for hardcore players to strive for. Not sure what the November plan is, but I wouldn’t be adverse to this event being extended by the weekend (to say Tuesday) and then a couple of recovery days before the next new content (to finish off any quest lines). Especially when reviewing the poll results and where everyone is at. There is no major character we are driving toward (just playing the content at hand), so I don’t seem why an extension of a couple of days would hurt the bottom line (might get people to spend more since they can get closer to completing items instead of being so far away it is hopeless), It just seems like we are doing event after event after event. A two-week Thanksgiving event followed by a major Christmas event would be fine by me. Of course, a district mixed in there wouldn’t hurt so we can get some more land, but I am okay without it. I have learned to put stuff in inventory and not have “pretty” town but more of a functional town.

Not so much a rant, has anyone else lost access to the Snack Attack Mystery Box? I hope they haven’t removed it, I wanted to get the last two skins, Slimed, the Ghostbusters Headquarters and one of the NPCs, I think the Wittle Witch would be nicer. I don’t know when it stopped working, I think it may have been when the last phase hit. The statue does nothing and it isn’t in the store anymore, I hope they haven’t removed it. I imagine the other one will have the other skins and decorations from last year. I am incredibly far behind this year, but I’m not too fussed. I’m not too keen on this event, I would have much preferred the one from last year as I love Ghostbusters. I am tempted by the mystery boxes, but there are several things I want to buy, some I’m not sure of, so I don’t want to spend too much on them. I think I would feel happier, had they not increased the cost so significantly. I think in the UK they have gone up by about 40-50%.

Nope, the statue is lit up but doesn’t do anything, and it is not in the store. Not sure what has happened, I don’t know when it happened either, I think it was probably after the latest update hit but I hadn’t really been checking so I’m not sure.

Yep, I sent them a message about it. I’m guessing this is more isolated as an issue. There is nothing in the FAQ saying that it was limited time or was due to leave early(before the end of the event that is).

WTD!! there are so many WTD for this event (and lateley for the entire game)… is amazing how bad things have been – and since everybody will mention them anyway, I just want to add:
WTD!! playing constantly is not enough, I mean every 3 hrs at least … the game has become premium plainly in a blatant way.
WTD! – I hate that clam prices does not decrease while you collect reels for the projection booth as it happens with characters. Stuff is still over 300 clams no matter how many reels you have, and that you have to waste reels in stupid stuff (like the twins) that you don’t want.
WTD!! – the worst of all.. what’s the point in the hiring-queue technique?!!?! it’s long enough already getting the stuff you need, and then another tedious process of “crafting” — CLAM GRABBING &%#@#

I agree with your WTD regarding the game. Way too much time spent playing is required if you want to get anywhere. Seriously, 550+ reels for all items to unlock the characters for this phase? Making matters worse vampires and werewolves spawning have practically come to a halt.
Tying repairing Ruth’s trunk into the questline is a huge mistake that will come back to bite TC in the keister — especially those who don’t follow a blog such as this.
When this event ends I hope TC steps back and ends once and for all this collect this to make that to craft this to unlock that to win this strategy. It’s old, it’s a royal PITA and something fresh is desperately needed.
Otherwise this will likely be my last event. People have lives, jobs, family obligations etc, and don’t want to be logging into a game every two hours.

I like the event. I really Do. Plus for Halloween…of course i’ll pay a little for clams …But now its just getting a little ridiculous. Weekly challenges are my goal. The Prizes are just Too cool to say “naah! ” But the Clowns are Not worth the effort. 3 Hours 45 Mins. for 15 licorice….what in my game gets me 10 reels and 1 licorice. So 10 Clowns Would Get me 105 reels. WOW! But it takes 37 Hours and 30 Mins to takes Them down…and only if i dont Do something else…..like….sleep haha. Hope that i can catch up.

This game has just become more frustrating than fun. I had a break from it after the mafia event but thought I could get back into it for the Halloween event because I love Halloween and horror movies but I just can’t keep up with this games events. I know some people complain that TSTO events are repetitive but at least it is a style that works for casual gaming like these games should be. I think you must have to play at least hourly to keep up and I’m just not willing to put that much time in.
On a positive note I’m just glad I never got to the point of spending real money yet and I now have an extra GB free on my phone 😉
So long family guy it’s had its ups and downs but I will now be a one TV town guy from now on!

I’m guessing I’m 2weeks behind on this event. I don’t like the bats at all. More often than not I get no soda cups from them or maybe one even if I hit five or six flocks at once. I have 193 popcorn that I can’t use because there is no option for it. I know every once in a while it will give an option to trade them in but it’s only one and it’s gone again. I miss too often on the werewolves even when they are purple. I haven’t even gotten the Lois skin from the concession stand I’m still 30 film reels away. And all the characters are clams in this event and too expensive. Especially since once the event is over they won’t be used again. I don’t like this system of having to work your way through things I don’t even want in order to get to something I have to have to progress the storyline. This event has been really frustrating.

Not happy with buying “Poppy the Salted” with clams, which gives popcorn, and then not being able to use them to trade for movie reels. If they are going to have a premium character like that, that character should have been useful for the duration of the event. I’ve noticed now I can use *some* popcorn for reels, but more often than not it’s just soda & chocolate. Not happy with the buy, and has really soured me on this event.

I concur. I have made it a point at the start of past premium events to always buy whatever creates the “currency” for that event. I bought Poppy the Salted assuming that popcorn would be the currency of this event, but found out that it’s just one of many currencies. In their efforts to make more money by selling multiple “currency” generators, TinyCo has simply trained me not to buy any at all, because they’ll only be useful for a week, and not the entire event. Well played, TinyCo, well played.

WTD a bunch of my garlic has disappeared and when I collect more the counter does not go up! Reported, no response.
WTD we have to collect 15 shampoo in 7 days and it is an 18 hour task, but the item is common instead of always drop. Never going to happen!
WTD it takes FOREVER to send a character on a task and then you have to wait another 3 or 4 hours before we can use it

On the Garlic thing. At times it takes a minute for the items to sync. Whether it is collection or use. Just tap on it and open the firing screen and see if the info is correct there.

I have been playing everyday, every hour. But some how I am still more then a day behind. My reels aren’t dropping fast I make about 50 reels a day. I am going to keep falling more behind. I’m on phase 3 twins prize. 😦

Wow, hey great, finally finished ungraded to Clown Movie and unlocked the Black Clam, and just a day late!

spawn? And because the clowns are about to spawn the werewolfs have finally slacked off? So my main source of reels is cut off till I get clowns?
