TinyCo dropped another Challenge on us last night. As I already have this Character in my game, I will just cover the Basic Information of how it breaks down.
There will now be a Challenge in the game to get the Costume of Ghostbuster Quagmire into your game.
Similar to other returning Costumes from last year, it will depend on what YOU got last year in your game on whether or not you will see these pop up.
First up, the game requirements for being able to see this Challenge:
- You do NOT have Ghostbuster Quagmire already
- You have successfully entered the complete Phase 2 Content of the Event
24HOUR TIMED CHALLENGE!
Ghost of Halloween Past
Jerome Quagmire starts (unable to confirm)
Make 8 Silver Cannons
Get 6 Garlic Bombs
Have Lois Hide From Slasher Cat (x2)
Craft 6 Holy Water Balloon Launchers
Completed Task Earns Ghostbuster Quagmire Costume
There you go. Another quick Challenge dropped into our Death at the Drive-in Event bringing back a Character Costume from last year’s Halloween.

I still don’t have this questline (or GB Peter’s). I am at Pt 5 of the current week’s questline, and all of my side quests have been completed other than Death’s Mom (I’m currently working on getting her). I got Slutty Cat Meg in the mini-event a couple of months ago, and I was not around for last Hallowe’ens event, so I don’t have any of the Ghostbusters. Have we figured out if there are any other requirements?

Bunny have you heard anything about additional requirements? It hasn’t popped in my game and I am at the end of part 4. I have 5 open quests at the moment.

I already had Meg but not ghostbusters Peter or glen.
I’m a full week behind only just gonna start phase 5 tomorrow maybe (waiting on 24hr deaths dog task) but obviously this is passed phase 2 😦
Was hoping to get them as it’s clear I won’t get to phase 6 and finish ha.

Are you on Kindle? I met all of the requirements and wasn’t getting it, but it popped up as soon as I loaded it on my Android phone. Once I started the task on my phone it also started showing on Kindle.

Ah so that’s the reward for this challenge. Almost done. Waiting on Lois to finish hiding. And I am going to send Death to do the quota to get a head start on Peter’s costume. Then i will have the set.
Also unlocked Albert today. So I’m on a roll. Ready to start the next phase, and just in case I don’t like the concession stand payouts, I didn’t do the 2 hour Death’s Momma task.
I just wanna see what the next phases requirements are before upgrading, so I can plan accordingly. Woot finally on track again.

Just FYI, after unlocking GBQuagmire he is walking around as a ghostbuster when he’s supposed to be a werewolf . Sent screen shot to TC.

Challenge popped up for me but couldn’t get Quagmire in time. I was going to speed up the process, but needed just 4 more clams and of course the TV to watch ads for clams popped up right after Quagmire expired…. So upset… Dreams crushed:(

I completed the quest for quagmire’s ghostbuster suit, and right after, a quest for Peter’s ghostbuster suit popped up…. One of the requirements is to clear 16 vampires… but when the quest popped up I had just cleared every vampire…. I worried that 16 vampires wont even spawn in 24 hours… it seems like less than that to me.. more like 12 a day or something… should i be worried?

Ghostbuster Peter Challenge just popped up in mine.
Peter started it. Need to kill bats, vampires, make death meet quota 3 times and of course kill werewolves.
Now if it would only let me cash in the hundreds of sodas I got.

They just added another 24 hour challenge to get Ghostbuster Peter! At least the silver cannon/werewolves can be synced, depending on where you were.

TC just dropped a Peter Ghost Buster into the game. It’s similar to the Glenn Ghost Buster – another 24 hour unlock.

Got GB Quagmire done without too much trouble aside from a 4:30 am alarm to finish Lois’ first HFSC and start the second.
Looking forward to the post for GB Peter. His looks to be a bit tougher.

It’s working for me now, started by Quagmire. No other apparent change in my game so I’m guessing they pushed a fix.

It hasn’t popped up for me in my main game. Only 5 open quests (start of phase 5, craft last item from phase 4, Mr weed, lois’ brother and buy clams) Jerome is being chased if that is maybe the trigger.
I have an alternate game with 18 active quests (working on getting stewie) and the Ghostbusters 24 hour quest started and should be able to get.

It hasn’t triggered for me either and I meet the requirements. I have 5 tasks open at the moment. Not sure how many makes it full but I’m sure I have had more than that in the past. (I’m at the end of the questline for week 5 btw) Maybe there are other requirements?

I have 3 tasks in my menu and I have no event tasks at all since I got Albert already and I don’t have this quest so it sounds there are more triggers.

I’m like a lot of others here. I have completed all tasks and it still won’t pop. I even tried to update the game, but there was no update to be had. I quit Jerome’s task, but that didn’t do it either. I’m on iOS; still haven’t updated the operating system as I wasn’t sure the game would be completely compatible.

Ok, I have NOT gotten this quest. I only have Part 6 of the Parade of Horribles and Death’s MOM where she watches her shows for the 1 day Task. Everything else is completed besides Albert Hook hand and the concession prize before it,
Obviously a Clam player, have slutty meg done, Sexy Connie done, Ghostbusters Joe and cleveland. NO Ghostbuster Peter or Quagmire. 😦

I haven’t received this quest and don’t have the costume from last year. I have 3 quests currently. One is deaths moms questline, one is the final part of parade of the horribles and the third is pt.10 of phase 5 questline (return of the scythe?)

By “You have successfully entered the complete Phase 2 Content of the Event”, does that mean if we didn’t get the Phase 2 building skin, we are excluded from this challenge, too? I collected all the projection booth items but skipped the freakin hard building skins and rainbow barf thing. I am completely up to date with all the main quest lines, so I wonder if skipping the Phase 2 freakin hard skin is a detail that is helpful to know. Thanks Bunny!

Nope. As far as I know it means your questline has you in Phase 2 content. Verifying any other triggers.

Is there any other triggers? I don’t have any ghostbuster stuff and am done with all of this week, just working on Albert and I didn’t get that to pop up.

Nope I spent 2 clams to speed up deaths moms task so she could save Jerome and still nothing happened.

Glenn Quagmire tripped the start. Jerome wasn’t involved. The task dropped about two hours ago. Lois’ action happens with her regular outfit at home. I had thought it would be from Slasher Cat chasing her. Silly me!

I’m glad that this one seems easier, and I also have the timer showing properly so I’m aware of it. I hope they add a way to get Peter’s skin. I would like Joe’s, but I didn’t get it in the box and I doubt they would give it away now if others could have paid for it.

This challenge hasn’t fired for me 😦
In fact, I’ve run out of tasks. I just unlocked Hook Hand Albert and have his quest line to complete, but other than that, I have no tasks left – I feel like I’ve ‘fallen out’ of the event!
So I don’t have Ghostbusters Quagmire and I’ve completed everything else.
Any ideas?

All good now – the event popped up a couple of hours ago.
I’ve completed all of the event tasks, and thought there would one left saying start the next movie or something similar. I guess I just have to wait until tomorrow

I had kitty Meg skin before this event but not Quagmires therefore I’m still waiting for this questline to appear but I still never had any in my game yet.
In another topic, I did unlocked Mama Death for half a day but theres no weekly challenge part 5 for me.
I just started phase 5 with main questline part 2.

Let me ask this… how many other tasks are open in your Task menu? Too many and there’s no room for any new ones.

I just received Quagmire’s questline and I had 4 water balloon launchers made in storage but the game did not confirm it.
Apparently the game only confirm those currently in the making.

Yes. As the task didn’t exist when they were creating it won’t count. Only 9nea made once triggered and requirements exist in the game.
