TinyCo dropped yet another Challenge on us. As I again already have this Character in my game, I will just cover the Basic Information of how it breaks down.
There will now be a Challenge in the game to get the Costume of Ghostbuster Peter into your game.
Similar to other returning Costumes from last year, it will depend on what YOU got last year in your game on whether or not you will see these pop up.
First up, the game requirements for being able to see this Challenge:
- You do NOT have Ghostbuster Peter already
- You have successfully entered the complete Phase 2 Content of the Event (FYI, Ghostbuster Quagmire should be popping up now. Patch was sent)
- This will NOT appear if you have time left on Slutty Cat Meg OR Ghostbuster Quagmire Challenges. Once complete it’ll appear.

There you go. Another quick Challenge dropped into our Death at the Drive-in Event bringing back a Character Costume from last year’s Halloween.

I take back my previous post. Just checked the game, cleared one vamp (my 12th of the 16) and had the task complete. Now I wish they’d bring back the mystery box. I’m much more willing to gamble for Joe and Cleveland now that I have peter and quagmire.

Looks like they changed the vampire requirement. Just logged in and it said I had 9 of 6. 2 spawned and as soon as I tapped on 1 it completed the challenge . Yay!!!

WOOHOO!!! UPDATE: Just logged into my game, and my vampire need said “Clear 6 Vampires 8/6” (since I had already cleared 8.) Waited a few minutes, rebooted to see if it was a typo, and shortly thereafter 2 vampires came walking out of the screen. Clicked them and it immediately unlocked Ghostbuster Peter.
So make sure to check into your game before the end, as even if you have MORE than the 6 needed at the time of correction, you’ll have to get 1 more to trigger.

Now its glitched it says you only need six but I have 10/6 and the quest isnt completed. With 5 hours to go.

Report it from your game. Also force close and restart device to make sure it got the change.

If anyone is having problems with vampires spawning definitely send TinyCo an in-game message. I’d done all other requirements but with 4 hours left was only on 6 vampires. Sent them a polite message and an hour later not only do a couple of vampires appear but just tapping ONE netted me the outfit. I guess it doesn’t hurt to ask if you think something is amiss or are having problems. I wonder if I ask politely for 1500 reels so I can get Hook Hand Albert… 😀

I had given up on Peter’s outfit- hadn’t seen a vampire in several hours, needed 6 more out of 16 with only 3 hours left on the timer. Just checked for Death’s last task to end, and lo and behold there were two vampires traipsing down the field. Tapped them and checked the questline- and it now said only 6 vampires needed (not 16) so I was done! Peter now has his Ghostbusters outfit. Guess the vampires weren’t really supposed to be so scarce.

I had had only 3 hours left and 10 vampires to go, so I took your advice and messaged TinyCo…. They awarded me Peter’s Ghostbuster skin right away, within an hour or so. Thanks for the advice Bunny! Saved me from spending clams!

Our complaints have been heard: now the task is to clear 6 vampires only (it was as before until an hour ago). Now I have my Ghostbusters Peter!!!

I think Tinyco fixed the task – I just clicked on what would have been my 12th vampire and I got awarded Ghostbuster Peter. WooHoo!!

I’ve checked in every 2 hours or so but the vampires just aren’t spawning fast enough. I still need 4 with 4 hours left (I even used some clams at the movie screen to try to get more). Not too hopeful at this point. I did send Tinyco and in game message about it.
Between this, being so far behind on the Halloween event, and my bad luck with the Ollie mystery boxes, I’m becoming a little more disenchanted with this game.
Lastly, thanks for all the work you put into both sites Bunny!

Not happy. My post here last night at 8 hours in I was up to 7 vamps. Over 12 hours later and I’m only up to 11. Not looking good for hitting 16. Its one thing to not get something because I’m not willing to put in the time to do it, or because I messed it up, but when its basically them not allowing me to finish its very aggravating. I messaged TinyCo in game about it, but I’m guessing that will help as little as it did any other time I’ve contacted them.

Otherwise nothing will get done and none of us will get the costume!

How can most of the players recognize the problem right from the start but yet those that created the program can’t seem to identify it?

Did the same based on your message. I need 8 more with just under 6 hours left, and already spent clams once to speed up a vampire production. Like someone said below, wonder if this was a mistake and it was supposed to be 6 vampires and 16 flocks of bats, especially since they respawn bats even w/o vampires now.

I’ve messaged as i have 8 more to go and only 5 hours. Only seen 4 vampires since 10 pm last night, it’s now 930am.
Was excited about these costumes so hopefully it’s not a disappointment!

Yeah, I have about four hours left and need six more vampires, everything else is done and Quagmire already has his outfit. The spawning rate really slowed down the past couple of days. Sorry, Peter.

I feel ya. I have 6hrs left & still need 10 vampires. It seems like they stopped spawning the moment that this challenge started, and I’ve been logged in & checking pretty near-constantly… they’re just not coming.
It seems like they would at least ensure that the challenge goals are possible to be met… but not an option with this one.

I’m also having this issue. I have less than 4 hours left and haven’t seen a vampire since 4am(11 hours ago). I’m not even sure how they appear, since they haven’t appeared in the visitor list since last night.

It’s 6 vampires now. I was worried about the same, but I had to refresh the game a few minutes ago and there was the change. You’ll get it 🙂

already had all three in my premium game.
Not sure if I earned meg in my free game before, or she glitched for free this time. I got the pop for Quagmire at 0731 local time, and peter at 0820 ish. I completed Peter at 2400, and have all the requirements for Quagmire bar one more run with Lois, which will run overtime by an hour, so I will have to use a couple clams. That was my own fault for forgetting to set her task off early enough, then forgetting to check in at the right time.
Upshot – this was easily achievable for both outfits.

Ghostbuster Peter started about 3 hours into Ghostbuster Quagmire for me. Finished Quagmire with 8 hours to spare but with the spawn rate of the vampires seems pretty impossible to get Peter. I’ve been checking every couple of hours and still have only gotten 6/16 vampires with 11 hours left..

I still think they got the requirements for vampires and flocks of bats reversed.

I have 14 hours left on my timer and only 4 vampires have spawned… based on the math there is no way i can possibly get 16 in time.
Does spending clams at the movie screen spawn vampires also? Or just horsemen?

I plan to try for both, and I don’t think getting Quagmire’s skin will be a problem, as I have 11 hours left, and only have to finish one 8 hour Lois task, which will be done when I wake up. I am thinking Peter may be a problem, as I have 14 hours left, and only have 4 vampires. We shall see, but if it doesn’t happen, it is no big deal either was as it is only another skin, and I have so many to play with as it is! *smile*

I’ve had 4 vampires spawn in 8 hours so not really liking my chances here. Looking at the requirements I imagine Tiny Co made a mistake and got the vampires and Bats around the wrong way. 6 vampires and 16 bats would have been achievable.

Totally agree, and when I messaged TinyCo I said the same thing. They respawn bats w/o vampires so it seems like it should’ve been flipped.

Well seeing as I get swirling ghosts and vampires spawning from the screen even when it’s counting down headless horsemen/swirling ghosts on the screen I don’t see a problem getting all the vampires done in time. I’m enjoying these free costumes since I only started playing about 4 months ago and hope they continue with the trend next week too!

Running both Quagmire’s and Peter’s quest simultaneously. They compliment each other, so no complaints there. But I have 2 vampires coming in an hour and 15 minutes at which point I will have only 14.25 hours remaining to get 12 more vampires. At this rate I could finish in a few days maybe.

So now it says I’m at 8/6 vampires cleared. I guess they reduced the requirements but im not sure how to meet them since I’ve met all the others and exceeded this one. I’m sure it’ll get straightened out though.

I’ve had 2 vampires spawn in 8hours and I check very regularly. No way to complete this quest at this rate. I messaged Tinyco. See what they say. I finished everything else already no problem.

These two Ghostbuster challenges both started at exactly the same time for me. They don’t seem to compete for the same resources though, so hopefully still possible to win both of them!

Ah… I reached 15 out of 16 vampires with 8 hours still to go whilst waiting for that final vampire but now they’ve changed the requirement to 6. It hasn’t helped, unfortunately, because the task won’t clear, so I’m stuck on 15 out of 6 unless more vampires appear or they fix the fix!

Thankfully more vampires showed up with just minutes to go, so I was able to get my 16th and finish the task! Ghostbuster Peter is mine, yay!

I got Slutty Cat Meg in August, so I didn’t have that timed quest in the mix. When I checked the game at lunch today, the quests for Ghostbusters Quagmire and Ghostbusters Peter both popped up. I’m working on them simultaneously and the timers on the two are identical.

It did drop with the exclamation mark above Peter. When I finished Quagmire, another grouping opened up. After Peter is earned, there is a clam reward for having all four.

I got the quagmire, and should get the peter one too. Only issue was with slutty cat meg, It didn’t register that I had done some of the tasks, so I had to use some clams. Will I be reimbursed?

My Peter challenge started three hours into the Quagmire challenge. Will be tough to get both of them in 24 hours! I agree it will be hard to get the vampire numbers.

Ok so totally not sure if I’ll make the 16 vampires. Have 21 hrs left and only 2 spawned this far. Next spawn is a little under 3 hours for 1 horseman. .. 😦 no clam either unfortunately to speed up the release. Have the cannons in queue and deaths task only takes 4 hrs each time for a total of 12 (easy peasy). Bays were done in the first few minutes. And yes 24 hour timer on this

So totally not sure if I’ll be able to get the vampire side done. My Ghostbusters Peter challenge appeared about 2 hours after my Ghostbuster Quagmire Challenge timer started. So they’re running simultaneously in my game. The tasks seem mostly related (e.g., make silver cannonball launchers in one, clear werewolves in the other; collect garlic in one, clear bats in the other). It all seems doable if the vampires ever show up…. Have to clear 16 of them.

Thank you TinyCo! If I can complete this quest, then I will have the complete set of Ghostbuster outfits! After receiving Joe and Cleveland’s Ghostbuster outfits in the mystery box, I was thrilled to get Quagmire’s for free. Now we can get Peter’s outfit for free as well. Woo Hoo! I just hope that enough vampires will show up in my town within 24 hours. I have already cleared the 5 that I had and there is now 23 hours left (so fingers crossed). 🙂

This challenge started for me about 2.5 hours after Quagmire’s. I’m so happy I’m getting to earn both and the cannons for Q will turn the werewolves for P, and the garlic bombs for Q clear the vampires for P! Nice TinyCo, thoughtful TinyCo, sweet info-gathering bunny!

I have liked these, they have become easy to complete for good skins. I didn’t get Joe or Connie in the boxes and I didn’t get Meg because I didn’t realise that she had a timer, it only showed up a long way in, at which point I would have had to have spent quite a lot of clams to get her. If I had known I would have put more effort in and I probably could have earned hers. I wonder if we will get Pink Brian next.

I love how they keep making us kill werewolves in these challenges but don’t give any options to trade soda in for reels.

This looks like a typical “your mileage may vary” situation. I got both three challenges at the same time I got a 75 sodas for 30 reels option. Worked out perfectly for me. Just be patient, and I’m sure one will pop up for you.

I have had just about zero options to trade in sodas this phase… I have 400 sodas saved up now because of it and im wondering if I will even get to trade them all in… Even if a 75 for 30 option finally shows up, im guessing it will disappear after i use it once

I’m 8 hours in and I’m up to 2/6 werewolves and 7/16 vampires. Been checking every hour or two to check if any more have spawned.
