Gotta love being so busy you can’t think straight. Lol.
Anywho, the other night TinyCo dropped a few more random items into our games. A New Vampire Rupert Mystery Box and some more continuation of the Random Side Questline, Parade of Horribles.
VAMPIRE MYSTERY BOX
This is a simple lil item for use of your extra 3D Glasses. For the cost of 15 3D Glasses a try, you can take a chance to get the Prizes inside. What are the Prizes?
Quahog Drive In (Decoration)
Hook Hand Albert’s Cabin (Decoration)
Concessions Stand (Decoration)
Quahog Drive-In Screen: Werewolf (Decoration)

As I already had the 3 items from previous Event, it was a quick 60 3D Glasses to get the remaining Decorations out.
PARADE OF HORRIBLES
Much like previous Events, there is a Random Questline you can run along side of just doing the normal activities to earn Event Materials you would. This Event it is the Parade of Horribles. I would suggest to NOT speed through this. There was no big Rewards at the end of it I saw and it may actually cost you more Clams than you really want to use. So do it as a Side option and nothing more. Feel free to continue to post your results on it in the Parade of Horribles Post.
That’s about it. I will keep watching to see if anything else pops in, but limited still on time so will do my best. Otherwise, keep in mind the Event will be ending TOMORROW, November 12th, 3PM Pacific. So just do what you can to finish what you can.

I actually made it through the whole thing. I didn’t get two building skins and the culture dude throwing up rainbows. I barely got the pope before the event ended.

Would have been nice if the mystery box costing 3D glasses had movie reels as prizes as well for those of us who has waaaay more than 3D glasses leftover. Not going to complain much as I spent zero clams on premium characters/buildings this event. Definitely a first for me! 😀

Ahh, nevermind on my previous post. I was just dumb. I was able to get to the mystery boxes on the facebook app, then it occurred to me to check the app store for an update, and lo and behold there was one that bestowed the mystery boxes upon me on my tablet 😀

I don’t have either of the new mystery boxes showing up in my game. I thought it was because I wasn’t in Phase 6, but I just got to that and still no mystery boxes (the 3d glasses one or the clam one)….I was hoping to get one of the movie screens at least (I already have most of the returning decorations in them). I’m not sure what to try now, short of contacting them, but no chance they’ll get back to me before the event is over.

This event has been about the death of me. Been with it since the start, made it through phase 1 just fine and then fell very behind as I just couldn’t make enough reels to keep up. I only just managed to unlock Ruth and am now about 140 reels away from Death’s mom. At least I was able to grab a few of these boxes, being a relatively new player meant I got a lot of the old event items I missed.

And that’s a wrap up. I got all the fremium costumes, decorations, weekly prizes, all the prizes for the movie reels from the first 5 phases (including Slasher Cat), all of Meg’s friends, and the Deaths characters. Only exceptions are Albert and Pope.
It’s good to see how the latest diffucult events like PeterPalooza and Halloween 2015 are turning out for the better in the end.

I almost got everything, the exception is the Haunted Carnival…but i think they are just an extra building. I didnt see any of those drop any item…just cash and scream points

I almost have enough reels to get Deaths Mom (way behind) but will not have time to collect the items needed to unlock her. Do you know if I can collect after the event or if she will disappear? Wondering if I should spend the clams to get the reels or not at this point.

When I saw parade of horribles part 7 I thought I might as well finish the questline up… only problem is Jerome hasn’t been chased in about 4 days. Of course I messaged them in game and of course there’s been no response. Guess I can be included in the ranks of those who can’t finish a questline now due to game glitchiness. Sigh. Par for the course.

I think I already know the answer to this, but just checking: is there any place within the game where you can get an accurate count as to how many 3D glasses you have banked? How is one supposed to go shopping without knowing one’s budget?

I use mainly a Kindle to play on and I only saw a mystery box appear once on that device. I have family that play and were able to see it on their android device. Sure enough when I went to my town on my phone the mystery boxes appeared. If you don’t see it try another device. If that doesn’t work message TinyCo.
