FYI: For those that are clicky happy and love to just jump on in… those Broken Down Cars for the Death at the Drive In Event… LEAVE THEM ALONE!! Lol. For now at least. I have already sent messages to TinyCo and am awaiting more info back on the issue, but if you placed them in your game you will not be able to move them. Also, it seems it may be causing lock outs of the game too and error messages. So… BEWARE! Hopefully a patch soon to fix it.

I hope they release more ways to earn Dawg coins (like when you clear those crawling humans). That dogwood tree decoration is SO pretty and I want like a thousand of them! I bought one of the Dog bank buildings but it only drops one measly Dawg coin every 8 hours. I need more dogwood trees! I want to build a little forest area with the dogwood and the cherry blossom trees that are also so pretty.

I got a surprise today! I have been playing this game every single day for almost half a year and have never seen the TV (for free clams) even once. Today, when I started up my game, there it was. I was able to watch 1 video and got 1 free clam before it disappeared again. I did not even know that Australians (like myself) could even receive the TV in our games, I thought that it was just if you resided in America or something.. I hope it is not another half a year before I get to see it again.

So, I posted a question about seeing Olivia appear just as this event kicked off, but please disregard, lol. I did some further research and found out that she appeared as part of my blimp questline. So Nvm 🙂
I would’ve posted this as a reply to my post but don’t see it yet. Bunny must be moderating cuz of the naggers mentioned above.
As for the new event, i love it! My only gripe seems to be the same as most, which is that it’s rather impossible to obtain enough dawg coins in the allotted event time to make an impact. It seems that more doggie characters will be introduced before the event is over, but Idk how we will have enough time to even complete the quest that requires the Pawtucket Chewery without spending a large amount of clams. I can’t wait to see the poodle Stewie!

Right when this event hit, I saw that I could get Olivia’s house. So, I placed the house & have been waiting for the things I need to unlock her, but they are not appearing. They are also really weird…like, “Get the Saloon by completing Dance Hall Days Pt. 2.” Wth is that? Lol. Has anyone else experienced this issue or seen Olivia appear?

I really don’t get the point of those buildings for 5 dog coins. Yes, they are supposed to help by dropping items, but just like everyone else, I had already gotten those specific items before I was able to place the buildings. I have Bonnie and Jerome busy with things in my main district and would have preferred just to place the building that drops Dog Muzzle for 25 dog coins, but as the questline wanted the other useless ones, I can’t get that one as by the time I reach 25, the event is over. Yep, I am another one who can’t get to match how it is to be possible with the few coins we get per day. Let’s hope something do come along quite quickly which will make us able to get those coins.

You should have plenty of time to get what you need, even if you hsd 0 coins when you posted this. The event doesn’t end until the 24th at 3pm so with the two freemium buildings which drop dawg coins every 12 hours, you should be able to get 32 coins easily with about 9 hours window of time extra if you’re not someone who can check exactly every 12 hours.

You should be getting the pamphlets about every two or three taps on the male pet human, on the average. If you’ve tapped enough to be sure you’re getting nothing, you need to contact TinyCo in the game. Count your taps and tell them how many with nothing.

Man there has got to be another way to get dawg coins besides the two buildings or spending clams, otherwise it’s going to take 6 1/2 days to get 25 for the next building. By the time i got the brewery and doggie clam i already had all the materials needed, so those buildings do nothing to help now. I understand it’s supposed to take time, but the events only 10 days long, when i get 25 coins the event will be over so tiny co. should find a way for more coins. Other than that good event, love quagmire’s wolf animation. Thanks bunny.

so i’ve purchased mckibble town and i’m trying to unlock sheepdog chris. i need dog food. however, it’s saying that the only way to get dog food is to ‘have new brian write new songs’, but i do not have new brian OR district eleven. is this a bug or is there another way to get dog food i’m just missing? all of the other tasks people normally have to get dog food don’t show up for me.

Wasn’t able to start this event until tonight because I unlocked district 7 right after the Drive-In event was completely taken out of the game. I only have one labor worker and didn’t want to upgrade my labor; and the first block that needed cleared in district 7 took a few hours more than 2 days. So I’m just now starting, but at least this is just a small event so those two days lost won’t be a hindrance.

I started For my dogs part seven. As soon as I started Quagmire contracting another std they put a time limit on it. There was no timer on it until I did that. Do you know what that is about.

I think you might be referring to the little clock icon that shows up when you have all parts of a quest in progress. The quest isnt timed.

With this quest line comes the whole griffin dog family, plus Joe and cleaveland, nice and easy passed questlines to come, although you will still need to log in just as often to keep up with the questlines. 🙂

Absolutely gutted! This is just the kind of game I like and love the Multiverse side to Family Guy so really excited to play. I placed both the buildings for both Chris and Quagmire dogs right next to each other, waited 1 hour then when ready pressed on the ticks….. crash… try again, crash… for the last 2 days I can do everything else on my game but when I try and open up these 2 buildings the game immediately goes black. Has anyone else experienced this?? Any ideas? The crashing has always been bad but this is crazy??

Anyone else having an issue on the iPHone since Death At The DriveIN went away and the Dog Multiverse started where the app kept saying they were low on memory when trying to play the game? I never had this problem until now. iphone 6s plus.

I’m not having trouble on my iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3, but I did update the app last Thursday. Sometimes memory problems go away if you power down the phone for a bit and let it clear its tiny little head.

Also Bunny is absolutely right about the benefits of keeping the town lean by storing things. I have a lot of animation going on (including a forest of bat colonies….) but I took her advice and stored a lot of buildings before the last event and then stored many of the new acquisitions before starting the doggie event. So I have plenty of room for the new event stuff but don’t seem to be having any problems from all the character and deco animations.

As the game does not remove old grapics and files when it updates, reinstalling should clear up your issue. This may also clear up other issues with crashing that anyone may be having. When I last did it on my phone, the game folder size was over 2 GB. After uninstall was about 300 MB. Big difference. Let me know on here if this solves your issues. Thanks to all and good luck.

This is exactly how mini-events should be designed — provided the drops are what they say they are. I don’t need to check in every hour and I should have something to do for the next 10 days. If people want to rush through this and have nothing to do for a week, they should go for it. But I am going to enjoy the pace and put all my characters on the same time schedule so I can minimize the number of times I need to check in daily. I just hope I don’t have to eat my words at the end because the drops aren’t what they say they are. That has happened before. 😦

The first building you will need for the questline is the Pawtucket chewery (the tennis ball one) which seems silly to me since all i need to unlock Chris is 2 more chew toys. I would’ve liked it better if you weren’t forced to buy a building that you won’t need.

I decided I wanted the Pawtuckrt Chewery before I hit it in the questline because I think the human equivalent is supposed to disappear when you get all the stuff from it? Or does it become just a deco? Not there yet…. But the Chewery is definitely permanent and earns coins. Anyway, Lois had just given me one tennis ball and the Chewery immediately produced another one once built, so I got the shaggy version of Chris right away to help with Quagmire’s counterpart. So I’m happy about it.

Relax folks. This is a slow quest and you should be able to easily get both characters with out spending any clams. I already got the tennis balls, so no need for that building unless i just want it.
My advice to everyone is to just use the tasks get your items and save your doggy coins in case you have to buy something for a quest.

I’m thinking there will be more than just the two initial characters, doggie Chris & doggie Quagmire, to unlock….at least that’s how it appears. In the info for one of the new buildings, i think the Pawtucket Chewery…whichever one costs 25 dawg coins, it implies that it’s needed for another dog, a darker colored one. It may be Cleveland or Peter. So I’m thinking this “mini-event” may be a bit larger than everyone is thinking. It also looks like there will be a poodle Stewie.

I just send TinyCo this email: “I’m pretty sure a mistake has been made. Right now dawg coins can only be earned from 2 buildings (McKibbletown and the Chew Toy Emporium) that can be collected from every 12 hours. That gives a maximum of 4 dawg coins a day. The 3 important buildings together cost 35 dawg coins, that will take 9 days minimum, then the event will almost be over again. Usually you earn event currency by completing event tasks also. I just earned 4 normal coins by completing For my dogs Pt.2, guess that was supposed to be dawg coins? Please fix this soon, the event is impossible to complete this way.”

I had an item missing from my game and within 48 hours I had a response to my “key terms” I used in my message that was not related to my actual issue. I reworded what I needed and less than a day later I was able to get my missing item added back to my inventory. I find that the more kind and straightforward I am with TinyCo the better they seem to respond to me. I’m not implying anything you may have written just advising what worked for me to get a quick response from them.

I can’t place the multiverse. The place it now screen keeps popping up saying I have to wait 1 day and 18 hours even though the land I’m trying to place it on have been cleared for weeks…. Anybody else having this issue?

That means you have your worker busy clearing land. It has nothing to do with the location placement. It is what your Worker is currently doing. Where is he? You can only do one task at a time with a worker.

oh and why did the leaves go back to green?? here in *real* Rhode Island the trees are brown or leaf-less right now!

so um i LOVE this because I love dogs. I just wish I had more room for it! I already had two “blocks” of my Quahog deticated to doggie buildings and decos and I’d love to keep it all together!
