DOG MULTIVERSE ENDS TODAY, NOVEMBER 24th @3PM PACIFIC
First up, many of you are FREAKING OUT about the remaining “Dog Characters” that have not shown up in the game during this Event. It seems many just glanced over or didn’t bother reading the initial post for Dog Multiverse I put up… so… here it is… again… copy and pasted from the Week 1 launch…
MORE MULTIVERSE COMING?
Per TinyCo, there are an infinite number of Multiverse in the Family Guy World. The Dog Multiverse is just one of many. It will be revisited at a future time, but do expect to see new adventure full of People-pups, so collect all the furry friends you can now because you never know what will happen when we go back.
And… just in case there is any doubt at all… here is the info in your game FAQ directly from TinyCo…
Where are the rest of the dog Griffins?
The Dog Multiverse is the first of many Multiverses that we will get to see! The dog versions of the rest of the Griffin family will arrive when the Multiverse Machine takes us back to the Dog Multiverse in a future event. You can expect to see a brand new adventure full of people-pups at that time!
So stop panicking. It is OK to not get everything this very second. More will come. Patience. 🙂
BUILDINGS & DECORATIONS
All these new items brought with the Event will go with the Event, so pick up what you want NOW or let them go when the Event Ends.
CHARACTERS
With most Characters, you purchase the BUILDING then have to collect Materials to unlock the CHARACTER. In other words, that Character is NOT in your game unless you collected every single Material they required. So complete ALL Material collection and unlock those Characters you want BEFORE the Event Ends or lose them. Since you bought the Building though, it will still remain as you did buy it.
MYSTERY BOX
The Mystery Box will go with the Event, so take your last gambles in it or let it go too with the Event.
DAWG COINS
These are an Event Currency, that being said… it means they are ONLY used during an Event. When they Event goes, so does the Event Currency. Use up all your Dawg Coins or lose them.

What will happen to my leftover Dawg Coins?
Be sure to spend your Dawg Coins before the event ends on Tuesday, November 24! Any unused event currency will disappear after the event.
QUESTLINES
The Side Questlines that trigger AFTER unlocking a Character and not requiring Event items to progress… usually continue on after the Event. The Main Questline and those directly linked usually go with the Event. Don’t stress too much on the Questlines. There are no “Big Rewards” for completing them. They just walked you through the Event. Nothing more.
That about does it. The simplistic Mini Event is coming to a close. Dog Multiverse is ending… for now.

Dang, slept in today and missed on getting the rest of the items for K-9 Joe. REALLY hope they re-release the dog characters from this mini-event when the continuation releases.

Another event down, another event where I didn’t get everything, played daily multiple times per day, didn’t end up getting dog joe because of poor drop rates….they really need to get rid of rare drops when doing a limited event like this…

$1 mil question.
Nothing new as of now in app updates that i am aware of (android wise).
I’d love for it to start tonight so we will know what to do over the next couple of days.
I figure app update rolls out tomorrow and game starts on Thursday night. At least this way ot will give me something to do while waiting in line for a black Friday sale.

FYI: just bought Cleveland for 50% off (200 clams). Don’t know why, but he had a big icon on him saying 50% off. Black Friday?

I have not spent a single clam, nor spent any money on the game and have saved for 3 months for cleveland (384 clams) when this great deal arrives!! I’m happy as a….CLAM! 😀

I thought this would end on Wednesday. I wasn’t able to get Joe (was very close) or come close to getting the high cost buildings. The Paw coins were a complete joke.
I do admit I missed 2 days because I was visiting relatives and they don’t have wi-fi, so by tablet was would be useless.

I was ONE sweater away from getting Dog Joe!! NOOO!!! I signed in at 3:10 and he was already gone! I was just going to pay the 20 Clams. I am so pissed off at myself. Have they always been prompt about the 3pm cutoff?

I’ve noticed in my game if you login before an event ends, like 2:59, the event won’t ‘end’ until you exit and re-login. There are times I send a worker to build an event building or a character to task to collect an item only to not finish before the event is over so I usually login before 3pm and intend on paying the clams to complete their task. That’s when I discovered this ‘loophole’ of sorts.
Now I understand most people won’t/can’t stay logged in for hours to complete a task or collect a character, but I was able to finish collecting a character and build an event building that extended 25 minutes or so past the end of event.
That’s my experience I don’t know if it holds true for all, but hope it helps anyone in the future

I was able to finally unlock K9 Joe but im still at Doggone it part 7 .. Wolfdog Quagmire is taking forever to scratch that itch lol

OK… if there’s more of Dogmultiverse coming, then why in the name of all that is good, one of the K-9 Joes item tasks was assigned to poodle Stewie? Talk about odd design choice, but then again, TinyCo seems to be pretty dimwitted in many cases.
Other than that, I liked this event. Completing it didn’t feel like work.

I wish I would have managed 1 more Coin…. I wanted a second Mount Dogmore. 🙂 Ended up buying more dogwood trees with 1 coin leftover. Good decorating trees. 🙂
Managed to get 1 of each at least all of the dog coin items also. Including the 25 coin behemoth. Expensive. 😛

If I had another day, I would probably been able to get Joe with very little clams used. Technically I could have unlocked Joe today for 120 clams but I’d rather save them for the Christmas event that I am sure is near. Of course by not unlocking Joe he’ll probably be needed for 1000 things when the dog multiverse comes around again.

I get amazed sometimes by the amount of people who seem to ask the same questions over and over, especially when that information is also in the FAQ section of the game. You do an excellent job of informing everyone as well Bunny but I have also been asked multiple times by some of my friends who also play the game about why this event is ending (for the moment) when Dogs Lois, Stewie and Chris have not been released yet.. Maybe TinyCo should have a pop-up at the start of every event which says something like “you must read the FAQ before starting on this event (otherwise one of your friends who does read it is liable to go crazy and jump off a bridge)”. 🙂 Sorry Bunny, I really should not have suggested that.. please just forget that I said anything. 😉

Blah I remembered the event end date differently and used coins just to get rid of them, I thought I wouldn’t have enough time to get 25 coins and as a result didn’t get the 25 coin supermarket building. I could had easially gotten it had I’d not messed up. Was it suppose to be Monday at some point or did I just mix my days 😂?

Would you get the Dog Mart Superstore in case it helps with future dogs like Lois, Peter, or Stewie? I don’t have enough for all the decorations. 😦

Just used up my dawg coins on four dogwood trees also. Had bought one earlier and liked it. No other decorations appealed to me. Got all the freemium characters unlocked, so I’m happy although I do think Meg is always being badly treated by these people. She’s not ugly in her normal form, people. Doesn’t deserve her dysfunctional family. Her parents can’t even remember how old she is!

I completed all the quests and will collect coins later just in time to buy the human pound. Was a nice little event and the multiverse gives a nice basis for further mini events .

I think this was about the perfectly paced event, at least for me. I’ll be finishing all the questlines with just about two hours to spare. I won’t be able to get all the decorations but that’s ok as the only ones I really want are the dogwood trees and anything else would most likely end up being stored. I think the dogwood trees look really nice mixed in with the cherry blossom trees from the mobster event.

Thanks. I nuked my town a while ago and ever since I keep one corner of my town as the designated “event area.” My main town stays basically the same, at least the layout. Then whatever buildings or decos I like from the event are incorporated into my town, swapping out the old for the new. Since you can’t have it all out (and I don’t even want to) it’s an easy way for me to maintain some semblance of an organized town.

Once again I am falling short in an event. Need another day to unlock Joe. I really don’t get why we can’t keep working towards a character if we have all the buildings needed for their drops. Guess I can put the human pund next to the asylum so they can mock me together for not giving me the drops I needed.

Got everything that I wanted including all buildings. Hopefully some of that stuff will be used in the next part. I hate when they release new characters with buildings and they don’t use that building after you unlock them.
