Hey there Clammers!
It is that time of year when some of the many Characters/Costumes we have had a chance at getting over time are being brought back into our games for those that missed them or a chance at getting them again.
These will be a mix of “Earn Materials”, “Clam Buy” and “Clam Mystery Box” Characters/Costumes, so just keep an eye out for where the one is that you are interested in.
“BEST OF 2015” WILL RUN UNTIL JANUARY 14th @ 3PM PACIFIC

Players will need to be to at least District 5 in order to be able to see these Mystery Boxes.

Greased Up Deaf Guy (Character): You have Peter trigger a quick quest, More Greased Up Deaf Guy, to place him for FREE in his cage in Quahog. Once placed you will see the Materials you need for him.

“CLAM MYSTERY BOX” CHARACTERS/COSTUMES
Best of 2015 Volume 1 Mystery Box: 125 Clams. Here is the list of Characters/Costumes you can get a “Chance” at in this Mystery Box.
***Keep in mind what you get will depend on who you already have live in your game as well as who you have already unlocked in the Districts. These are also a “Chance” Mystery Box, so your results will vary on what you get out of it. Of course the more you already have live in your game, the less you will have in the Mystery Box and a better chance at getting them. No repeats of course.***

BONUS CHARACTER?
As part of the Best Of 2015 Mini Event, you can also have the Chance to get Don Corleone. Per the information, if you get Greased Up Deaf Guy, Detective Scrotes, and Death’s Mom… you can get a chance to earn him. More information once I see it live in the game.
Since I already had the 3 Characters in my game, Peter triggered the Quest for it.

***I see others stating it is telling you to get him again. I have already messaged in to TinyCo, but you will need to message them too as he was in the TOP Leaderboard Prize awards from the Mobsters Event and they are the only ones that can verify placement of Players from the Leaderboards.
TinyCo did report back that they will work on the issue with those that won him showing him locked. So hang in there and I will update if I hear anything more back. Patch most likely tomorrow on it.
***UPDATE 1/8/16: In order to unlock Don Corleone, a trigger will hit to get the items needed for him with a 3 DAY TIMER! The timer task will NOT appear until you get the 3 Characters per Tinyco.
Don Corleone Requires
4 Gold Ring (uncommon): GUDG – slide through the clam
4 Hat (rare): Scrotes – take a coffee break
4 Movie Ticket (common) – Death’s Mom – show slides of baby Death
They were showing Christmas item images but being patched if not already fixed. Should still count.

A few side notes I’m seeing…
Santa’s Workshop can’t be moved: They’re working on it. It’s not priority but will be patched.
Missing Clams?: Saw only a few comments that players lost clams when refreshed out of the Raid to the North Pole Event. If this happened to you write them ASAP. No reports yet.
Secret Spy Brian 24 Task took Clams: For those that the game DID charge Clams for running this 24hr task before the patch was put through, they will help fix it. I know some got an auto message about “Event items”… but no worries. Just make sure you in game message them and follow up while they get it corrected.
There you have it. A reintroduction of some of the Characters/Costumes from 2015. Hang tight, as TinyCo lists this as “Volume 1” it seems there may be more to come.

thanks i think it a bit stupid that they would only give us 3 days to unlock stuff and not every one can spend money to buy things that might help unlock stuff i think it a bit of a ripe off myself i do thank you for getting back to me so soon

i have not collected all the items for Don Corleone yet, The timer still has a day and a half. will Don disappear at the end of the event (today) or will he stay until the timer runs out?

Do you get everything in the best of box or just one at random?

If you buy a best of box do the characters come unlocked ready to use or do you still have to collect them
Also the scrotum cop and deaths mum and the free characters
That you have to unlock if you don’t unlock them before the event do they go away or do they remain

Items you get, check on inventory and pull them out live into the game. (Also check Al’s to see if it’s a costume that needs to be completed.)

Not sure what happened, but I was about halfway through getting Don Corleone, and next time I logged into QFS he was unlocked, but my clams are untouched so I know I didn’t accidentally spend them.

They just sent patches for some of the issues.

I was missing some materials for both GUDG and Scrotes, and had unlocked Death’s Mom earlier during Halloween. A few minutes ago when I logged in, both GUDG and Scrotes had been magically unlocked, the quest had disappeared from my game, and I found Don Corleone in the shop listed as “Free”. When I placed him, a timer popped up over his head starting at 3 days and counting down, and his list of needed materials popped up. So, for me at least, it looks like TinyCo just fast-forwarded me through some intermediate steps towards Don Corleone. Yay!

I didn’t get that part, but I was 3 grease off of GUDG getting unlocked and he’s suddenly free in my town. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth since I figured I’d unlock him today anyway and put Death’s Mom and Scrotes on their tasks for Corleone’s stuff.

Don Corleone is available for me now also… But I was only halfway through collecting items to unlock him.

Hi bunny, and all readers. First off thank you for your time and effort with this site. I’m here almost everyday for tips, tricks and info. I’m having an issue that tinyco doesn’t seem to want to recognize. Upon reloading to normal quahog from the Christmas event, I have lost 90% of my money. Clams remained. I messaged tinyco in game and got a “we’re very sorry but nothing we can do” response. I messaged again and they aren’t replying to me haha. I’m at a loss of what to do next. Any thoughts?

I assumed the first response was generic, they asked if I still needed help and they would open a ticket. So I clicked no, not helpful and then I got the reply of “we’re sorry but we can’t reverse a transaction, and there’s no evidence of a glitch”. I replied there was no transaction, and haven’t heard back. When I open the conversation, there isn’t one.

Unfortunately they never stated they were working on it. I’ve sent 3 messages and they’re yet to respond. I will be patient and hope for the best. At least it was coins, not clams.

I’ve been checking everytime I can and I’m still far behind getting any of the characters, since almost nothing drops.

I finally got all my items for scrotes and GUDG. Scrotes unlocked fine but when clicking the bouncing locked symbol on GUDG instead of changing to a gold unlocked symbol it changes to the bouncing grease tub symbol with a checkmark on it. If I click it my game crashes. If I click anywhere else it changes back to the bouncing locked symbol. This will keep me from earning GUDG and any chance to earn Corleone. I have tried all suggestions for crashing and have messaged tinyco in game with no reply. Also does scrotes have a questline?

Having the same issue here, can’t unlock GUDG, game crashes as soon as I click the bouncing grease. Unlocked Scrotes with no problems.
