SECOND CONTACT WILL END THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25 @3PM PACIFIC
First up, the Basic Requirements…
- Players will need to be on Version 1.18.0 in the App Markets, so if you are not… go download it
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version, not Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points.

Peter will kick things off for the Event. You will once again have to repair the crashed Shuttle over in the Event Area for $500, 10 secs.
Pull out ALL your Star Trek Characters from last year to get a good start at those Anti-Matters. Buildings too!

Old Buildings Not Dropping: First Up as noted below, Buildings from Previous Event (like the Borg Cubes) are not dropping the additional Material items (like Gamma Ray). Only the newly purchased ones are. Already sent in for clarification
Star Trek Character Tasks Crashing: I am seeing that if you try and send a Star Trek Character from Quahog, it irritates the game and may freeze on you. However if you send them from the Enterprise, they went just fine. May be something with them trying to transport to Enterprise. Already sent in report.
Borg Rupert: As noted below, DO NOT BUY HIM. If you see him, leave him be. I think he snuck in too soon and due to he wasn’t coded yet or ready, you will not get him. So save your Clams and wait.

ENTERPRISE
Those back for round two, this is the same. Those just trying this for the first time, the Enterprise will be a separate Play Space you can travel to once you reach Star Trek: Second Contact Part 2. Once there, you can then travel back and forth from Enterprise and Quahog. You will see the Enterprise/Home Icon in the lower right corner of your game while in each Play Space for a quick tap to travel.
The Enterprise will be set up in Sections/Districts. Just like in the game, you will have to explore and repair different areas of the ship as you progress through the Event unlocking various areas. Some will Unlock via the Main Questline in Phase 1, others in Phase 2.
REPLICATOR
Another returning item. This will be aboard the Enterprise and your “crafting” area where you will be able to select various items to create for various amounts of Materials you can collect during the Event. Items Created will first drop into Inventory, so you will need to go there to pull them out and into Quahog.
You will know what item you are looking at as it will be highlighted in Orange around it, so make sure you have selected the correct one before using Material to create it.

AWAY MISSIONS
You will be able to send Specific Characters off to another Planet to see what prizes and rewards they bring back. Each Planet will be different in Prizes, Characters used, times, and Cost.
As the Characters on Away Missions are essentially on a “Task”, they can’t be used for anything else until they return. Won’t unlock until Ten Forward is Unlocked.

SHOOTING GALLERY/ PHASER BATTLES
This will not appear until you get to the Enterprise. Once aboard as you progress through the Questline, look for the Gallery Icon in the lower right of your game (Ship firing Laser). Tap on it to open the Gallery.
There are various “Ships” floating about in space in the Gallery and taking them down with Photon Torpedoes will give you various Payouts. As I have pretty much everything, I will list the info and items I was able to verify. ***NOTE: You MUST destroy a ship BEFORE it leaves the screen in order to get a payout.***
Borg Cube: Took 3 hits to destroy. I got 3 Latinum & 5 Anti- Matter & 4 Borg Parts. I got 2 Anti- Matter & 5 Tachyon Particles.
Asteroid: Took 1 hit to destroy. I got 2 Anti- Matter
Romulan Warbird: Took 1 hit to destroy. I got 2 Anti- Matter
Shielded Petercraft (moves REALLY fast): Took 2 hits to destroy. I got 5 Anti-Matter

BORGS
They will start to appear in your QUAHOG once you reach Star Trek: Second Contact Part 2. They will stop appearing in Quahog AFTER Star Trek: Second Contact Part 5 and instead will appear in the ENTERPRISE, so pay attention to where you are in the Questline to know where to look for them to appear.

Cat Nip from Away Missions on Terra Boberra to Destroy them.
Each Borg Kitten Requires 1 Bag of Katnip. Similar to other Walking NPCs, you tap on the Borg Kitten, Tap on the Cat Nip (I had to twice a few times), the Kill Zone Circle will show up, make sure the Borg Kitten turns Purple, then place the Cat Nip by tapping the Check Mark. They will eat it, short circuit out, then poof… reward.
It took me 3 to 4 Away Missions to finally get the 5 Cat Nip Reward, so FYI on that.

Hi Bunny, I’m curious about the Star Trek Second Contact notification that said we would get a 50 clam reward if we unlocked Crusher, Troi, Geordi, Data and Locutus. Well I unlocked all 5 and they show up on the Facespace page but the section to the right where you would claim the reward is blank/empty. I reached out to TinyCo but have yet to hear back. Any thoughts?

Hey, I’ve noticed in the event section (in the shopping cart) that Klingon Meg is available for me to create. When I click on create, it takes me to Als (I’m in quahog whilst doing this!) Als shows me my list of created that I’m yet to create (mermaid Peter) and character skins that have already been created (Klingon Chris, star fleet Peter etc) yet I cannot see Meg anywhere. Anyone else having this problem? (My game is updated to the latest version!) thanks for any help!! ☺️

Sounds like you do not own Meg yet in the game if you’re just to Mermaid Peter. You can’t get some of the Costumes here with having the Characters they go in first. Sorry

I do have Meg in the game – got her when I did the aquarium (about 3 weeks ago, but been focusing on the football and now Star Trek). She’s currently on level 7 of that helps? I’ve got navy quagmire and pirate Peter just haven’t bothered to unlock the mermaid costume yet. Thanks ☺️

If you are fully in Phase 2 and meet all the requirements listed in Bullet Points, you own Meg in the game, and no one else is currently “creating” in Al’s… and you still do not see Klingon Meg Costume in Al Harringtons on the Enterprise, then contact them

I can’t figure out how to clear the borg kittens. I’ve got catnip but tapping the kittens doesn’t seem to offer up any way of clearing them, nor do any of the characters.

Tap on kitten, then tap on catnip twice to trigger “kill zone”, make sure kitten is purple and place it.

I didn’t get Crusher on the first event (started playing the game halfway through the first trek event). Missed out on picard, crusher and data. I see no Picard this time. 😦 And I unlocked sick bay but Crusher is nowhere to be found. Do I need to unlock Herbert Edo first?

I’m having trouble unlocking districts on the enterprise because I’m not getting any gamma rays. It said Deanna Klingon Chris were giving gamma rays but it doesn’t show on the tasks.

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me. I have a couple of questions I haven’t been able to get answered from tiny Co. In the previous event I paid the 100 clams to get planet Vulcan unlocked as we had trouble with the condoms for Vulcan quagmire and the event was ending and I didn’t want to to miss out on him. I see that it’s now locked once again asking for another 100 clams to unlock for missions to send for chances at Latium bars for the leader boards. I’ve messaged in game, but no response as of yet. Anyone else purchase last time and locked again now? Also, I know it mentions that Latium bars can be gotten by replicator items but of the several I’ve crafted so far not Sure single bar to be had. I’ve gotten 3 from a borg cube hit on the phaser shots and I’m 0/4 missions with Chris for planet Terra Bob errands so far. At this rate I’m already too far behind in bars to have any hopes of earning Bertram which does make me sad since he’s such a large recurring character on the show. Too bad they just didn’t make him for clam purchase… They must make a ton off leader boards doing it this way. ☺

This is a new event, so EVERYTHING is locked and new to do. Including Planets, Districts aboard Enterprise, etc. I get my Latinum mainly from Terra Boberra.
I am waiting for clarification on the Latinum in Replicator, it may not come til Phase 2.
My suggestions, do NOT focus on Leaderboards. To do so will drive you mad. Just do what you can in the main game and see where it takes you.

In case anyone is a huge Next Gen fan like me and usually keeps the in game music turned off, you might want to turn it on when you leave Quahog. The soundtrack on the Enterprise is gorgeous.

It says for Counselor Troi that Riker pictures are Rare. On my game they are extra rare. They take 1 day to get 1 and with extra rare chance I dont imagine I will get her unlocked before the event is over. Shame on that.

Is this correct? Jerome the only option and this task takes one day so like 18 days to get unless they drop 2 then 9 days which isn’t any better since they are marked rare so these are a unlikely minimum amount of days.

Yeah, I just noticed this… Need 18 and it’s a RARE drop from a 24hr task and NOWHERE else! With ten days left for the event it seems impossible to finish. Is there somewhere else to get the items, am I missing something?
I just recently started playing this game, after getting back into Tapped Out but this game seems like it expects a lot more from the players in terms of paying for premium currency. This whole ‘impossible to unlock without cash’ deal is really putting me off this game.

It is actually more that TinyCo works in steps and phases, were as TSTO is cut and dry.
With the game in Phases, you CAN’T Calculate or predict what tomorrow will bring. Drops change, Characters are added, Buidlings are added, etc. So just because that is all you see right now, it does not mean it will not change by the time Phase 2 rolls out.
FYI… I am starting to see TSTO adapt to a version of Phasing too. The last few Events have been dropped in Phases, difference being TSTO cuts you off from earning the Characters once the Phase is over where as TinyCo/FG gives you the Entire Event to get them. I will say though that FG can be more time involved as it is not a simple game. Never has been, never will be. Just go in knowing that you may not get it all and be OK with that or you will go mad. 😉

How can drops and such change day to day? Wouldn’t that require an update? I have the game on my android phone, but I mostly play it on my iPad, which is no stranger to missing updates, or being delayed. Any tips or suggestions you can give me?

Nope. Only MAJOR changes require an update in this game.
All I can suggest is just play. See how often you’re in your game and if increasing that time makes a difference. Drops vary per Player with the random “chance” involved, so I can’t say what works for me will work for you.
Otherwise just see how far you get and what comes next. 😉

Thanks for the help. One last question if you don’t mind. With events like this do they come back again, and how often? I know this is the second time TNG has been in the game, if we see it again would progress resume where it was left off (say I only get half the items for troi) or do you have to start over?

This is the first time ever an Event has returned. Usually bits only a Character in Best of or an occasional building or Decoration here n there.
It’s still a brand new Event. So the Characters can be used, but unlocking does need to be done. No matter the event, even a return, if you don’t own the Characters before the event ends… they’re gone.

Finally got to spot to unlock Edo Herbert. You can get canned food from: Make Patrick Stewart Relax (8 hours), Borg Cubes (includes old ones), Clear Borg Kittens, Make Locutus Drink Borg Tea (8 hours), Make Riker Seduce Alien Ladies (8 hours), Borg Assimilated James Wood High.

Planet Vulcan costs 100 clams to unlock in which you can send Peter & Chris to get 15 latinum bars. I’ve sent both Peter & Chris together as I’ve read in the in-game info that sending more members yields a higher probability in getting items but I did not get any latinum bars in return.
I feel cheated from tinyco as I’ve spent 100 clams in unlocking something where I supposed there’s a higher return rate as I’ve spent clams on it than other planets but that’s not the case it seems.
So what team config is best to send to Planet Vulcan in order to get these latinum bars for the leaderboard? Is it Peter only, Chris only or both together?

It’s a chance. Nothing more. When you add each character, watch the bar levels next to the item. It’ll tell you the chance level. Low, Medium, High. For me, I’m using Terra Boberra. Just Chris and getting them pretty often.
