The second and Final Phase of the Re-released Star Trek Event is upon is. Lots more Characters, Buildings, and multiple other items returning with it.
SECOND CONTACT WILL END THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25 @3PM PACIFIC
First up, the Basic Requirements…
- Players will need to have completed Star Trek: Second Contact Part 11 in order to move into all the Phase 2 Content
- Players will need to be on Version 1.18.5 in the App Markets, so if you are not… go download it
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version, not Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points.

KNOWN “ISSUES”
Just a quick update, if your game is still crashing with Starfleet Peter try only sending him on board the Enterprise. Otherwise if the 1.18.5 Update did not help, report it from your game.
Edo Herbert double questline as well as questline issues are known and another patch is coming for it. As it is a Side Questline, it is not critical right now for you to finish it… so just set it aside until resolved.

REPLICATOR
This will be aboard the Enterprise and your “crafting” area where you will be able to select various items to create for various amounts of Materials you can collect during the Event. Items Created will first drop into Inventory, so you will need to go there to pull them out and into Quahog. FYI… in my game that has it ALL, I can see a lot of the items in Phase 2 in the Replicator now too. Feel free to make more if you want of an item.
WARNING: Those “abusing” the Replicator for “exploitation” I am seeing get banned on Leaderboards. Checking into it to see what TinyCo says.

BORG BETRAM
The “Boss” Battle is back in Phase 2. You will see Borg Bertram appear on board the Enterprise in the Holodeck area once you complete Star Trek: Second Contact Pt. 11. You can see how the Battle worked during the Star Trek Event last year HERE.
Similar to last Event, you will have multiple Characters that can attack and “DAMAGE” Borg Bertram at variable amounts. As you attack him and cause the Damage, he will weaken until his HP is fully drained, he will then go into a cool down period (4hrs), then return stronger and a bit harder to take out… but better Payout.
You will have 10 Hours to defeat him each time. If you do not, he will go into cool down (4hrs) and come back completely reset to the lowest strength. (It is best to keep him as high as possible for the best payouts possible.)

Clawed Borg Bertram: Starts at 2HP, Earns 25 Anti- Matter & 4 Transparent Aluminum
Drill Master Borg Bertram: Starts at 4HP, Earns 50 Anti- Matter & 8 Transparent Aluminum

**He also paid out Latinum when I took him down, I am unsure the amount as I didn’t check my current Level just before it dropped. It looked to be around 15 though.

I meant how long the tasks of the characters that can cause damage take. I did one battle with Klingon Chris (he is the only one I have right now), that took 3 hours. Are the other ones 3 hours too? And can you battle Borg Bertram with several characters at the same time? I’m just trying to figure out if I have a fighting chance to unlock Talosian Stewie. Already given up on all other things that need transparent aluminum, but I’m doing well for someone who hasn’t played when the first Star Trek event came along, can’t complain. Mainly thanks to your posts as always. 😉

Lots of yes. My suggestion is spend a lil time on the Borg Bertram part of this very post. Has lots of good info as well as an awesome link to the “best tips” how to battle from last year that still apply this year (see the original post I linked within this post Borg Bertram section).
Easier to read the tips and explanation there. A new post on it is coming soon, but that should help in meantime. Let me know if you have any more questions 🙂

Oh, Bunny, it’s a Star Trek miracle. =)
The replication allows for all materials to pretty much be used/converted. And when I was doing all of those torpedo attacks on borg cubes, I’d accumulated a decent number of borg parts and crystals. Add that to the fact that borg cubes are now dropping decent latinum (30 each) and I’m right back in this.
This makes me happier. For you new folks out there, you do have a shot, even if it’s very much an uphill climb. Play smart, use your materials wisely.

Honestly… the amount of money being spent for premium content must be incredible. I mean, I’ve spent over $100 and I’m not even in the top 5000 anymore! Amazing. Are there really that many people spending $200-$500 on this game to get on the leaderboard? I was in Tier 2 at one point just a couple of days ago.

Well thanks to Phase 2 and the release of Replicator items to EVERYONE… yah… THAT is now blowing them up. You have players with TENS OF THOUSANDS of Anti-Matter sitting around and now items to just buy buy buy that drop Latinum on creation… then add in Borg Bertram kills possible every 4hrs to drop more Latinum too. It is a Latinum smorgasbord right now. 😉

So again, people complaining when it really wasn’t necessary tipped the balance… well… off the planet. I feel for any New Player. I get Old One’s should get a leg up on things, but this went way beyond that in my opinion. Even I… as much as I have invested in this game since BETA… feel sick to my stomache about it.

Well, thank you for your honesty, and at least it matches how I feel about this. I tend to think that those claim this was to give last year’s players ‘a chance’ are rationalizing far beyond any acceptable scope.
Still. I’m a hard worker. I managed to squeeze out a great place in the Christmas event.
Challenge accepted. Unfair though it certainly is.

But it’s also a repeat event. So it’s not gonna happen every time with the leaderboards.. Ya know what I mean? Like most of the time, whoever spends more clams gets on top of the leaderboard.. This time, people who grinded it out hard last time are being rewarded this time.. people who spend a lot of clams either last event or this one still hve the largest leg up, of course.. But People always complain that freemium players can’t compete.. Well here it is! Freemium players from last Star Trek event have a significant leg up for once.. I get that it really sucks for new players, but they can’t make every single player happy every single time. They’re trying to balance out all the complaints it seems like. everyone is never going to be happy all at the same time lol. For me, I feel like for just this one little 2 week repeat event, I am being rewarded for my hard work from last time.. And that feels kind of nice. After this event it will go right back to whoever spends the most clams…

And I get all that. Trust me I appreciate the thought that last year Player’s benefit, but in the same regard I also want to feel that it is not completely tipped. For me it is tipped too far if that make sense. Honestly… I feel they should rename it the “Last Year’s Players Only Leaderboard” with the “changes”. First time this is happening like you said. All we can do is learn and move on. Hopefully more tweaking will be done and possible back to the Only 30 Players Leaderboard groups. Those seemed the best out of all versions. Gave EVERYONE a chance. My thoughts anyway. 🙂

I think TinyCo tried to even things up maybe not realising so many old players would be bothering to collect anti-matter at high rate, putting a limit on replicator items would kept it fair, or as fair as it can be. But I agree the 30 player group leaderboards seemed to cause a lot less tension and let people plod along at their own pace.

that makes complete sense too. I do agree that it was tipped a little too far. I guess it’s just kind of trial and error w/ Tiny Co right now as far as leaderboards go… I’m sure they’ll figure out a nice balance eventually.

I’ve been pondering this one since the release of the Leader boards in this event, and I find myself in agreement with both sentiments here. The first iteration heavily favored new players and the revisions heavily favor players that have most/all from the previous Star Trek event. I don’t like either situation honestly, I would have preferred almost anything else to either of those, but that’s what they gave us, so that’s what we have to play with. I had assumed that the entire event would be heavily biased in favor of players that had content from last time, that would make more sense.
I’m almost surprised that Tiny Co is still making mid-stream changes like this, those bring about the greatest fanfare as well as the greatest protest amongst the masses. For genuine mistakes, yes they should make changes, but it’s become a little too much “change the rules because someone whines enough about it”… But, that is what we have learned they do, so we expect it.
Side note, I have almost everything (less a couple buildings) from the previous Star Trek event, as I love Star Trek. That being the case, without spending so much as one clam this time around, I’ve managed to climb to 70-90th place depending on when I log in. I am rather astonished by that, I figured maybe within the top 1,000 after the replicator change. We’ll see how that one ultimately works out…

I don’t think it was new player tipped last week. Just heavy clam spenders. The new players might have been able to get moreverything latinum, but if they had nothing to collect from originally, then they struggled just as much. But now old players and clam spenders have a chance. I really don’t think there’s anything wrong with that being as it’s only for the one event.

You know, I’m sitting on 40000 anti-matter right now due to doing this event last year and having all the characters already plus 50 or so buildings. It isn’t right what tinyco did. When second phase started I crafted one more of most the items I had previously and stopped. I won’t finish in the top 5000 and I’m good with that. I wish new players would have had some chance here.
Just a personal opinion.

Why would you stop when crafting items when you have 40,000? You could easily be in the top 100 if you spent time and made a bunch of plants. Silly! I have over 400 of those plants and am in the top 250. And I continue to make more to maintain my standing but I’ll never make it into the top 100.

Does anyone know how yo start part two of the questline? I’ve completed pt one and no one has a ! over his head.
By the way, am I the only one that has been banned from the leaderboard since the very beginning? I think maybe the ban continues since Christmas event

If you have an issue on bans, and it’s been since Christmas and NOT valid… email them.
As far as the Questline. If you finished Pt. 11 and unlocked the Holodeck, it triggered for me while I was on the Enterprise. Peter triggered it.

Hey Bunny. My Data is in Quahog which I didn’t mind because the floppy’s and the cat food was still dropping.. But I’ve been trying to get those anti virus things every 2 hrs since the phase started and none have dropped. And also, your thing says that you can get them by having Herbert take gross old man bath? I don’t have that option. Just the other 2 (Peter and bev crusher) Do you think it’s because Data is in Quahog and it’s messing it up or something? I’m wondering if that has something to do with the anti virus not dropping too. Except the other things are dropping, so I’m not sure.

TinyCo must not want anybody to buy Alien Bushes, because the cost to buy one is insane. 225 Anti-Matter and 50 Red Matter. The Red Matter must be a mistake with it being very limited to get. I was hoping to round out my collection to 50, but its not possible at that price.

It is possible, you just have to spend real cash to get much of anything good in this game. There seems to be more premium content than free.

Not necessarily. Going through all Characters/Costumes since release of game… Freemium still outweigh Premium. For me, it is more the Play factor. You really have to invest time. As I put it a while ago… Pay for it or Play for it. Not a simple tap tap tap game at all. More work involved.

Are they doing anything for last year’s players to make up the difference for us not being able to make all the stuff in the replicator? This seems to be the main way to get on the leader board I can’t even make enough stuff to qualify for the very bottom. I had made everything in lasts years event. Plus the away missions hardly use any of the characters available.

I’m just curious if the leaderboard looks different if you’re banned. I asked the ingame help that I thought I lost latinum bars the first time the leaderboard went live, and they responded days later saying I was banned. I told them I’m pretty sure I’m not because I show up on the leaderboard and that that didn’t answer my question to. Their reply was, it doesn’t matter. You don’t need latinum, you’re banned. So I just stopped replying, because I didn’t know what the hell was happening. I haven’t done anything to get banned and I’m pretty sure I’m not, but how can I tell?
Also, glad they added decos I already have in the replicator. It’s nice to get more.

I’m not showing up on the leaderboard anymore because my rank is now well below 5000, down from about 550 less than 24 hours ago. You have to have plenty of extra IRL cash to spend if you even want to get bronze in this game.

When the new phase went live, I was happy to see that it only cost 5 clams to get Picard. I had Patrick Stewart and Locutus, so I used my clams to get Picard. I was not able to get him last time this event rolled around, so now I do. Has anyone else gotten this offer to pay 5 clams to complete him?

In my game, that too-good-to-be-true 5 clam offer for Picard in Al’s disappeared once I was officially in phase 2. Now Picard is only in the replicator for a few hundred pink antimatter sparklies, 23 omega molecules (if I ever get any puppy bones to generate them…), and 60 aluminum girders (from Borg Bertram battles, hopefully).

Honestly if they don’t want people “exploiting” the replicator they should set a limit per item. I have everything from last time and don’t need to use the purple things on characters so of course I’m going to use them to help me gain the only new thing offered in the event.
Banning people for playing the game perfectly legitimately because they didn’t think through the implications of their coding is ridiculous.
It was the same thing in the mobster event where you could keep buying hedges (or was it fences I forget) to gain whatever we were collecting for the leaderboard. I got banned that time and managed to get re-instated by explaining exactly what I had done to advance.
This time I know exactly how many of what I have bought so can show them I have legitimately earned all the Lantinum

I for one appreciate the system in place. Yes people can get caught on accident, but it is such a very small percentage. Otherwise, well… I have seen NON monitored ones on other games and they are a nightmare. Might as well call them “cheat heaven”

I know you don’t want people going too nutty about the leaderboard snags, but just to share my little story here. I was in 60th place and was working hard to destroy borg cubes and do missions that would continue to bring me in latinum. (60th place was about 500 latinum, prior to week 2).
Today I’m in 2300th place with 640 latinum. In one day.
So if there is an exploit going on I hope they fix it. I was working super hard because I wanted Borg Rupert… and yes, I was spending clams to do so. You have to. But mostly it was to get torpedoes.
If nothing else at least I can come out of this event with lots of characters I’d not had. Silver lining I tell myself. Silver lining. But dang it I want Borg Rupert. I was working so hard for him.

This game is a joke, so here is the secret that why you and I are getting **** on once again. Different amounts of lithium is given in the replicator. I get 32 for making the Red Plant and 13 for making the Vasquez Rocks. You can continue to make as many as you want. Hopefully, Bunny will put up a tally of what items create more lithium since I just noticed different amounts are being distributed.

The thing is, I know that. So far I’ve steered clear of doing so until I know for sure what TinyCo is doing. I have the antimatter energy if it comes to that.

The first 4 days of the event, I forced myself to hover around d 400 to 500 range. Day 5… dropped to 1500, day 6 and 7 about another 500 a day.
When I saw a chance to climb leaderboards again LEGALLY, I took it. I had gone from being in the mood of, “okay. I don’t get Bertram or Borg Rupert this event. Ok.” Then when this hit… it REALLY seemed like TinyCo was doing it intentionally. Honoring old players by even gIvins them replicator items at all this week . New players COULD buy multiple dilithium mines and earn just as much dilithium as I have been. It’s not outside the realm of thought.
I felt a small glimmer of hope that I might be able to somehow fall into the top 100 or 1000(what I really care about…) without spending hundreds in clams… again. 😛

The big problem is the weighting, even if this was intentional (and I do not for a minute believe it was). It took me all week to net 500 latinum. Someone today could get 500 latinum by spending about 800 or 900 antimatter.

It is the backlash of sadly people not listening to me at all last week. THOUSANDS of complaints, just like I saw here, that “Last Year’s Players” felt it was “unfair” they couldn’t get Latinum from the Replicator. I stated that it was actually unfair to new players, not old. Well… now maybe everyone can see why. TinyCo made it so Old Players could access them. Now… ALL those drops that Old Players were getting in vast numbers allowed them to completely smoke out now any possible chance of a New Player even placing on the board. I haven’t even been trying and netted over 20,000 Anti-Matter. I could easily be top spot if I wanted. I have so much that it’s sickening. All from just playing the Event last year.
I really wish at times people would just stop panicking and listen and allow the game to play as it should. Now the game is so sickening OUT of balance on the Leaderboards… I… well… better go censor myself. 😉

I don’t think there’s an exploit, is it not just due to the replicator items being available to all players now not just those who were playing the Star Trek event for this first time. Last week players who played the Star Trek event last year didn’t have ability to replicate any of the old decorations, so the new players had a way of collecting Latinam that old players didn’t , I’m assuming TinyCo has just fixed it so all players can replicate any items they want to make it fair on all players. I think it’s good to see they are actively making changes to allow all players same chance to collect Latinam as they have been criticised before for not acting, ie the Peterpalooza event. Guess it’s a damned if they do, damned if they don’t situation. But I wish you all the best in getting Borg Rupert, to me that tier is for full premium players who are happy to spend a lot of clams, the rest of us can fight over the scraps, ha. And I truly believe there will be other opportunities to get Bertram, as he’s kind of a core character for me, and they tend to like all players to have those.
All in all I think they’ve done good job with this rerun, little something to keep us long players in the game but less frantic than usual, and newer players getting a chance to earn a host of characters rather than buying them in mystery boxes, and don’t forget clam rewards for completing character sets. It would be real shame if the leaderboard were to overshadow what has been according to Bunny TinyCo trying give players the 2 most requested things asked for, ie new players the Star Trek characters and old players a break.

FYI and I’m probably going to kick myself for clueing everyone in because I want Rupert too but here goes. You can buy multiple identical items in the replicator. For Lat bonus. I have no pink stuffs but 10K+ of gold stuffs.

Not a glitch but I had the same initial reaction. Good thing is if you did indeed spend a lot of clams it should have left you with lots of extra materials and event currency. Just use those in the replicator on the first three items which drop tons of latinum and you should be able to catch up quickly. I was around #60 then went down to the 800s and now I’m sitting at 14.

I just now figured out the exploitation method that is being used. It must be how the leader has amassed over 32,000 Latinum bars since phase 2 started. TC has allowed this to happen by allowing players to make infinite numbers of the high-yield items until they have used up the materials needed. With nearly 26,000 anti-matter, if I did this, I probably would not have fallen from the mid-350’s to my my new ranking of 3,075 in less than a day. TC should have restricted the purchase of multiple identical replicator items.

I went from rank 550 to well below 5000 in less than 24 hours, and I’ve spent at least $100 on this event alone. I’m not sure if it’s exploits or lots of huge Trek and Family Guy fans spending their whole paycheck on a mobile game…
Also, you get a lot more latinum by making things in the replicator. I’ve been reading about people who played previous years, and already have everything, and their latinum stash somehow isn’t carried over from last year… seems like a major oversight on the part of the developer. It seems the only steps they have taken in this regard is to ban people who are “exploiting” (read, playing a bugged game) I guess this make sense and I hope it’s the reason the leaderboard is so ridiculous, which also means they’ll have to ban a shit-ton of people to get things back to normal.

I’m glad they lowered the gamma rays if it makes it easier for some people, but I wish when they readjust like that they would do something to reward players who did have enough. I woke up every 2 hours the last several days so I would have enough, and now it was all for nothing??

Just a few notes:
1) Geordi, Data, and Lois’ s quest lines are only to obtain them if you haven’t before; thus, are only one part quests.
2) Borg Cube is no longer spawning for the space battles; however, some undefined amount of latinum drops from shooting stuff (but doesn’t appear while shooting). Romulan craft is still 1 shot no apparent payout, Petercraft (now sped up and moving much faster) is still 2 shots with a 2 event currency payout. Note: unlike previous event, Petercraft will not slow down by waiting it out. Asteroids are 1 shot and pay out in event currency.
3) Replicator now has restored function for duplicate items and has a few new items. So if you missed something along the way or just wanted a 2nd Chompy plant (hint hint), get it before TinyCo changes their minds.

You can get catnip by sending crew on missions in the transporter. One of the planets has them.

So I didn’t get Scotty or kirk last time and I am a little tempted, I’ve found if I buy via amazon on my phone the clams are around 50p cheaper plus I get amazon coins which I can exchange for more clams. I’m currently replicating an overload of pod plants from all the anti matter I have collected, can’t help but think it looks a tad dodgy the way it is slinging me up the leaderboard!

Bunny… I’m honestly REALLY scared about this situation … I spent last night pretty much trading in my all but useless 40,000+ dilithium in exchange for latinum. All 40k of that was EARNED by me constantly logging in and collecting buildings saved from the original event. That were all earned by the SUBSTANTIAL amount of money I put into the first star trek event. I never knew that it was one item only at some point or it was unlocked later? I’m so confused and nervous…
I did use some Clam usage also. More out of pure annoyance than anything else. To get Borg out of my way…
I mean, I’m not trying to exploit something. EVERY player in the game can choose to turn in the 50 dilithium for the pod plants for their 30 latinum each… This was not an exploit… it’s not a glitch from what I see… I made several Borg monoliths and rimulan statues too… nothing was limited, so I thought I was doing everything perfectly fine.
That was a LOT of work turning in that all too. It took roughly 45 minutes per 5000 latinum. My swipey finger and arm are exhausted. 😦
When I did this last night, it brought me up into 2nd place on the leaderboards. I took a screenshot at 3 for proof and am already at 4th when I logged out… I will not intentionally use clams for latinum, so if I maintain top 100, awesome, but I SWEAR I was not trying to cheat. Are we not supposed to EARN latinum the best way possible? I’m just really scared I’m going to be banned. I am a prime addict asylumnist and I will have serious issues if I get banned…. :,,,(

By the same token it’s hardly fair for those of us working hard to be run roughshod over. My 500 for week 1 is utterly meaningless with this change. And while it’s nice you had old antimatter for the event, generally old tallies are considered lost at event’s end.
This is where leaderboards and this change are making a mess of things. It’s got two groups of people on very uneven footing. I spent a bunch of clams on THIS event. I’m really waiting for a nod from TinyCo one way or the other. And if these latinums are here to stay, at the scale they’re on, so be it.
I can play the game, even as the rules change.

Seeking out another to intentionally “attack” or “vent” is a direct violation. Honestly I think your mindset may have misinterpreted the entire constructive conversion that was going on. No one was saying anything damaging to you personally nor attacking you personally.
As far as me warning others…no. As it is happening to Players I will NOT remove it. It may not apply to you, but again… this post is for many and not just one. If I see an issue I sure am going to let people know so they understand and don’t flood the comments with “Hey was I banned?” Then spend hours copying n pasting the why. If it doesn’t apply to you, fine…pass on it. But please don’t tell me to NOT warn others of an issue. Especially when so many are experiencing it.

At first I was debating whether to get Wharf or Guinan with my clams of the premium characters, but wharf doesn’t seem to do anything but get some transporter badges, Guinan seems to be a lot more useful in this event!!

Guinan can only get phaser charges, which several characters can get. Badges are more valuable as he’s the only character who can get them, I think.

When phase 2 opened , I kept replicating pod plants and Vazquez rocks to get Latium bars . I had a ton of crystals because I have 10 ale bars from the first event. Got so many bars I got suspended from the Leader board…

OK, is this a bug? You can keep getting multiple items in the replicator and it keeps giving latinum every time! So I played the last event and used up materials on 9 Borg cubes and like half a dozen Earl Grey Tea Shops. I’ve been collecting the antimatter since the beginning of this event and now have 16k+ antimatter. Anyway, I just created 50 Vasquez Rocks and got 12 Latinum each time. I’m now up to 800+ Latinum with enough antimatter for another 1200. I wasn’t even on the leaderboard before this. Just really don’t wanna get banned.

How can players be “exploiting” this when it is in their game and placed that way by TinyCo? Players didn’t create a “cheat”; the option was placed into their games by the designers of the game. I am not trying to be obstinate, but if something is placed in our games and players utilize that, how are we to know that this was unintended and using it will result in a player being banned? I didn’t do it because I always wait to craft replicator items at the end once I know what I have collected and I am banned from this leaderboard because of the Christmas event debacle because I surpassed what they thought I could get as a freemium player (still can’t figure that out).
Why should a player be banned if this was provided to them in their games as a function of the game?

Never mind on my last comment about Fata being nowhere to be found. I found him in my shopping cart. Just had to pull him out into my game to start collecting. But yeah, I’m only on part 10 of main questline, as I don’t have any cat nip so I can’t clear 8 Borg kitten, and all the content seems to be available to me. Except for Borg Puppies, Joe’s costume and the new away mission planets.

I’m almost but not quite in phase 2, but Data was in my Quahog shop (not the Enterprise shop) labeled free. Clicked on him, he ended up crumpled on the mean streets of Quahog. Looked at his unlock requirements, clicked on one for Riker and was taken to the Enterprise. That’s the last I saw of poor Data, can’t find him in Quahog or on the ship… Will see if it’s fixed once I get the last Borg kitten de-borgified with catnip and get officially into phase 2, but has this happened to anybody else?
Picard had also been in Al’s earlier for some reason, but he vanished from Al’s more recently. I imagine he will return with official phase 2. Am a bit more concerned about Data, considering his child-like wonder and all.
I’m already updated to the latest version for iPhone.

Hey Bunny. So I’m only only part 10 of the main questline, and I didn’t know that I had to be on part 11.. But I was able to unlock the Holodeck and the Engineering Bay… Event Borg Bertram showed up and I have Talosian Stewie battling him right now. But Data is nowhere to be found….. When I locked the Holodeck only Borg Bertram showed up. No data? Do you think he will show up when I get to part 11? Also, i don’t know if it’s a glitch, but I was able to unlock Picard for 5 clams in Al Harrington’s. They’ll probably end up taking him back from me lol

I accumulated everything on the last Star Trek event (which was awesome!), so there is pretty much nothing left to collect for this one. My 6 Latinum bars are completely pointless on the leaderboard, so all I have to do is enjoy this event on a normal pace!

Yes, Picard show’s in Al’s for me too, along with 0/1 listed for what looks like a headshot of Picard as his unlock requirement and a message that I have to do more quests to unlock the chance to find it whatever it is. If he stays 5 clams… Wow! But I have to get up to 260 clams for Worf first and have 11 to go. Should I risk it? Will see once I’m really in phase 2.
I’m not in phase 2 yet (waiting for 3 more catnips to proceed in the main quest), although I opened the holodeck, see Bertram counting down, and updated the app. I already have Geordi, Starfleet Lois and Peter, Locutus, Riker, Troi, Dr. Crusher, Klingon Chris, and Edo Herbert. Don’t see Data anywhere I looked yet but maybe I don’t know what “Menu” means. Does he show up as a quest in the task list to unlock him in phase 2 proper? Is the task list the “menu”?
New stuff appeared in the replicator already for me, including my beloved pod plant!

I’m curious to hear how new players who didn’t play last year feel about this event. It was a month-long event before plus a week extension, so I can only imagine the pressure to unlock everything in 2(?) weeks. I’m starting to feel like there’s not really going to be any new content this year, although I appreciate the chance to pick up stuff I missed before. Also, I really like getting on the Enterprise. Did we all get the same rooms which we placed last year (i.e. weapon’s locker) or does everyone have the same layout this time?

We still have Neil Goldman, Evil Monkey, etc to get somehow, so we know that content will be new at least. Giving second chances to earn stuff from old events is nice. I looked forward to getting Greased-up Deaf Guy since launch, and couldn’t earn the grease fast enough to get him during his original event. Wasted clams on trying, but I got him during the revisit, so it turned out not to be a total waste. TinyCo doesn’t have to redo anything, but it is nice that they chose to. I wish the clam prices were much lower, but you can’t have everything.

I’d be really careful on this. Reports are already coming in to the game’s Facebook :shudders: page of people getting banned from the Leaderboard for this. All I know is I had just barely cracked the top tier around noon today then when this was added, I had dropped all the way to third tier.

I went from about 260 bars to over 9000 last night by doing this. Now the game will no longer open on my Android phone but works fine in my IPad and Im still on the leader board. Currently in about 137th place. Made it as high as 24th last night. Was about 2700th place before pod rushing. Don’t know if they banned me on Android where I played almost exclusively or its another issue. I’d think if I was banned it wouldn’t work on my IPad.

This is Phase 2 Content. If you are not in Phase 2, you don’t see the Content linked to it. It is the way this game works. You must progress to each Phase to get to new Content.

Condescending? You asked a question and I’m trying to get an answer to help you. To do that I need to know exactly where in the game you are as that will impact what you see. But if you don’t want it… I won’t bother. I’ll keep that in mind next time you ask a question. No need to be rude when people try to help you.

How is asking you a direct question of where in the game you are assuming? Wouldn’t me NOT asking you be me assuming where you are?
To troubleshoot you have to ask questions… but if you don’t want to answer or want to get snippy because someone is trying to help you by asking direct questions, then why bother seeking help in the first place?
The only one assuming is you.

Again you’re being quite rude. I ASKED where you were instead of assuming. You know… so I could tell where you were and then know what steps you could try next. Like helpful people do on this site. FYI… look at the post comments. EVERYONE comments here, regardless of where in game they are. It’s kind of how a community works.

Just started phase 2 and opened the holo deck immediately. I didn’t get Data in the last event but had all the anti-virus and disks. Looks like they were saved as I could immediately complete those item collections. So it’s just cat food and emotion chips I need to get. 😀

Is anyone seeing Borg cubes to shoot at? I had three shots ready, went in, had one exciting the screen so I waited, but no more showed up.

What I’m noticing is that I only get one. I make sure I’m ready when I go in and if it’s in a place where I can take three shots I’ll get it, otherwise I wait till the next time I clear tasks.
But they definitely aren’t coming back after they leave the screen the first time.

Me too. I’ll get one and if I miss it or destroy it, I have to wait for a while before going back in to try again before another cube shows up. A little annoying but I’m not collecting tons of torpedoes that it makes it a real issue.

Ok, so there no new premium characters in phase two? I was hoping for Captain Kirk or Spock to come back, but if they’re not going to I think I’ll just unlock Worf and otherwise work on Data and Picard.

But Kirk cost like 20,000+ Anti-Matter and a month of grinding to get him. 200 Clams for Kirk now is dirt cheap especially when other Star Trek characters for the first event were in the high 200s.
