WWE WrestleMania in Quahog Event is coming to a close. The Event will end PROMPTLY today (4/7/16) at 3PM Pacific. Take a look below at some reminders for the end.
QUESTLINES
The Main Questlines attached to the Event itself as well as items from the Event, like the Emporium, will go when the Event ends.
Individual Character Questlines that trigger by unlocking a Character will usually continue on after the Event Ends.
CHARACTERS/COSTUMES
With the New Characters/Costumes in the game, those that are not completely unlocked and actively walking your Quahog Streets will go when the Event does.
That means make sure you have ALL Materials collected and received the Character Unlocked Screen showing that the Character is now live in the game.
Any Characters still sitting outside of their Building waiting for items, in the Emporium not obtained, or sitting in Al’s not completed will all go when the Event does. There will be no way to continue earning Event Materials once the Event is over.
So make a decision and decided, will it be worth it to YOU to get the Character via Clams? Or just let it go and wait to see if it returns in the future.
BUILDINGS/DECORATIONS
Much like the Characters, anything NOT live in your game from the Shopping Cart, Emporium, Mystery Boxes, or Toxic Shock Gym will go when the Event does. So earn/buy/unlock the items you want BEFORE the Event Ends.
EVENT MATERIALS
All Event Materials are linked specifically to the Event, so if you do not use it… you loose it. That means all the Belts, Trophies, etc will go when the Event Ends.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
I do know that some of you experienced the issue with just one pill dropping and now seeing reports of one VooDoo Doll drops from Cage. Both were reported and please report them from your game too.
I do know some players resorted to buying out the items and in return asking for a refund. It is completely up to you if you wish to go this route as I am unable to guarantee the results.
Other than that, just keep reporting the technical issues via your game. I have been doing all I can on my end to relay all issues and concerns to them. Even though I may not respond to the comments here immediately, I am still messaging them as soon as I see the comments pop up on the site here. Just know I am always keeping an eye out and helping players all I can, even in my silence due to health reasons.
WHAT’S NEXT?
There is already another Event locked in and set to launch not long after the Event this evening (if not first thing in the morning tomorrow), so you will not have too long of a transition before one ends and another starts. This means try to keep your Main Characters free (Like Peter, Lois, Joe, Jerome, etc. District 1-3 Characters) just in case to start the New Event off. Don’t send them all on 24hr Tasks.

Yeah, I think I’m finally done with this game. I hate deleting games I pay for, especially with how much I paid into this one, but it’s just been screwy for me lately anyway. I wasn’t getting alerts for finished jobs (ever since Princess Bride, which I complained about and they just said “alerts happen when everyone is done” which is never how they came through before.) Gym training alerts usually only happened if Peter was in it. Angry fans barely spawned during ring time events. This was just it for me. Bye Family Guy, you used to be fun.

I experienced the Voodoo doll glitch, raised it with TinyCo and they gave me 140 free clams (enough to purchase the giant chicken) 🙂

Today I was 12 title belts short of unlocking the Giant Chicken and spent clams to speed up the ring events. Got enough belts then to unlock GC but then there’s stuff requirements too. This triggered phase 2 and I had enough belts to unlock Stone Cold but he needs stuff as well. Event ends and even though I unlocked the buildings for the new characters they were taken away. They should have been left to unlock with normal character actions.
Disappointing outcome for a poor event.

I Just finished the week one content this morning and the event is ending today well planned event by Tinyco was just starting to get interesting for me as i placed the Giant Chicken and stone cold and i was able to utilise my characters to go get some items to drop. I have no expectations anymore on finishing any future events in this game but will continue and see what happens last event I finished was Ghostbusters.

Just blew 140 clams to get the chicken. Glad to have him but getting the voodoo dolls proved impossible. Not a happy tapper right now 👿

I managed to get some extra time by launching the game a few minutes before “the end”, after setting auto lock to “never”in my general iPhone settings so the phone wouldn’t shut down the game. Was able to then get the last exhibition in, which otherwise would have been ten minutes past “the end” (finally they gave me 40 fans even though it was just one spawn, I’ve been short changed for the prior ones and thought I would be one or two belts short for Giant Chicken) and get what I needed to at least place the big chicken and his restaurant and Steve Austin and his throne and at least pretend to start on collecting for them. Don’t know how long this would have worked to fend off forced removal of everything, since I got tired of not having access to my phone in a half hour or so… So I quit the game and then relaunched, and Steve and the chicken were gone and the store was cleaned out of wrestling stuff. But I do have the big guy’s restaurant, which was my goal for the day. Nothing new has appeared in the store yet for me.
I had placed red mushroom patches as markers for where my roads went before I removed them for the exhibition matches (made just one road surrounding the ring). This made it very easy to quickly restore my roads.

This definitely had the potential of being a fun event but I am left disappointed. I am a premium user (i buy nearly all extra characters, spend about $30-$40 per event) and I JUST got to Stone Cold & Giant Chicken this morning. This app uses about 40% of my battery because I am playing it so much. I had really bad RNG for the first 5 days and I had the pill bottle glitch which took up 2 more days. Overall another poor implementation especially for a character everyone has wanted (Giant Chicken). I know it will be available again, it’s just frustrating.

Was really looking forward to this event. I am a huge wrestling fan. Ran into a glitch where I wasn’t getting enough fans to spawn during matches to reach the full 40 stars. Alerted Tinyco. Got the Stone Cold salute in return. Got Triple H, never got any of the other wrestlers. Would have bought clams in order to get the premium guys. Now Tinyco can join Vince’s favorite club. Losing interest in this game fast.

Well I have only recently unlocked Stone to try and get the chicken- I’m with the poster above – why tie the chicken to such a short event? I must admit the game seems to be aimed more for the premium player now a days as I play quite regularly but seem to be getting further behind in each event? I was close to spending clams for the chicken but due to the reasons above I don’t think that I will waist my money.
Oh and a final note to Bunny and the team thank you so much for the time and effort you put into the site – it is so much appreciated!

I only needed 4 (maybe 6) coupons to get the chicken and I come back to find him gone. I figured he would be allowed to continue after the event ended until item collection was completed. As a mostly freemium player, I have found the events getting more and more aggravating to play what with the short event times and really crummy drop rates. It seems to me the whole point of events now is to force players to spend money to get through even the basic prizes. If the chicken is not returned, it may be the straw that broke the camel’s back for me.

My cage only gave me one doll. Will message them and see what they say. Also kinda sad the chicken’s questline didn’t continue after the event… I play the game for the dialogue and stuff so now i have a chicken I paid for with no quest 😥

I will ask about his Questline. Many times it takes a bit to restart with the change out and it restarts on Part 2.

Ended up 3 voodoo dolls short of Giant Chicken. Kinda disappointed with the drops rate for them. Wasted the last of my clams speeding up the Cage Match Ring twice right at the end since I didn’t have enough to just pay out the rest for him.

I never came close to getting giant chicken either…. or came close to completing any of the events lately and I play them a lot. It never use to be this hard. There is not much point playing the game now.

This is stupid. Just wasted all my clams trying to get the payout for the Cage. Nothing…. So no chicken for me which seems to like garbage to me. The chicken and Peter started this game and now it just ended it for me.

Got to three voodoo dolls from Maxi Paddy after none from the building so I spent the last 70 clams to get Giant Chicken. Since he was what “started” the game, I now consider my quest over. A three-day wait for a second pain killer to drop after only one dropped and absolutely no response from TinyCo to an in-game message cemented that this game isn’t for me any more. I did in-game message TinyCo just to see if they would refund me the 70 clams since I surely would have gotten a drop from the building for voodoo dolls or Peter would have dropped a fourth in that time frame, but since they haven’t responded yet, I am doubtful they will at all. That might bring me back, but the continuous events, the Leaderboard mistreatment and the difficulty progression from each event has me whipped. It was fun for two years and I feel as though I have gone full circle by getting Giant Chicken. Thanks for everything Bunny and I will be praying for your health. 🙂

Jeff Garner, good luck with the one doll, My cage didn’t drop any the last 2 trys (I even spent clams) neither did Maxi Patty (on her quest) so I just paid the 70 to unlock the chicken. very depressing, messaged tinyco to see if they will do anything to reimburse.

This is the first event that I have not gotten a character. I’ve been working on stone cold for nearly 6 days and the skulls will not drop. I’ve needed 7 for for the past 4 days. My friend got all the skulls in less then 3 days. I also don’t understand why the chicken was available before stone cold when you need stone cold to unlock him, I mean shouldn’t have been the other way around? This game used to be fun. I used to be able to finish events without spending money. I like what EA and simpsons tapped out are doing with their events, I have only had one problem during a simpsons event and that was during the stonecutters and that was my fault for skipping a day and not playing. I have been play fgqfs since the very first day it hit the app store on my iPhone and now I wont be playing anymore.
so farewell Bunny I have enjoyed you site for a long time.. I will still check in with your simpsons tapped out site.

I’m not going to make getting enough belts to get the giant chicken but if I use clams I have to get the building and him will he be unlocked or would I still have to get items to unlock him? If I do have to unlock him I don’t want to waste clams when there is no way I could do that in time and I don’t want to spend clams twice to get him.

I got what … just under two hours left to get through the event? … I guess this qualifies this mini event as a success right? … oh well … at least I got my fire station on the other game … (oh yeah with days to spare)

I understand. I vocalized mine and the Player’s frustrations, and hopefully they will return the Characters/Event again at a later date. It just wasn’t long enough with the glitches to catch up and sadly they couldn’t extend it due to the next event already programmed to start immediately following.

Giant Chicken could easily be worked in as a side quest or prize into any event, since he started the whole thing. I only got into phase 2 ten minutes after the event ended (by launching the game before 3pm PDT and not allowing my phone to auto close it for inactivity while I waited for Maxi to be ready for one last exhibition to get enough belts), so all I could do was place Big Chick and Steve still locked. So I have Big Chick’s restaurant (shouldn’t it be vegan? Maybe it’s soy chick’n), just need Big Chick…

I just deleted the game from iPad. I’m done. I was so excited for a WWE event and I didn’t get any of the characters that you could unlock except Maxi Padi. And the characters you could buy were way too expensive clam wise. It’s gotten to be insanely frustrating when I can’t even make it through the first week of an event without getting behind while checking in on it every hour or so. I was so far behind on the Princess Bride event and the NFL event. It was a good run I guess. I’ll keep an eye on this site just to see if there is an event I might want to come for but it’s going to take a lot for me to come back

I have had the Cage match for almost a week and have not gotten one voodoo doll to drop. I have gotten two from the Maxi Padi missions but it looks like I will have to pay the 140 clams for the Giant Chicken. Not too happy about that!

I have never been so far behind in an event…and i spend some clams too! My progress so far is i need several skulls to unlock stone cold steve and need dolls to unlock giant chicken … I would have to spend 900 clams to finish unlocking the chicken!

Thus seems to happen to me every event… I pay out for the characters and find out I need a million and a half things to unlock them after I have already earned the building. I didn’t even know there was a week two as I just paid to unlock giant chicken. I guess that’s another 50+ clams wasted…. Typical family guu scenario.

It sucks that you have to resort to buying a ton of clams in order to unlock the giant chicken. It would have been cool if they let it stay once you have it on the field locked or unlocked. Has anyone else had a issue with certain items like the cage not giving any items unless you bought them?

Many had issues overall. I asked them to return the Characters/Event later due to they couldn’t extend it. Give people a 2nd chance at them.

this was probably the most frustrating event they have ever done. i play almost hourly and not even remotely close to getting stone cold or giant chicken, only first placed them 2 days ago and event ends today. I am a HUGE wrestling fan too which makes it worse. if the next event is like the past few and people who play daily are weeks behind I just might give up. this game should be a fun way to escape your day, not causing stress.

This and the princess bride event have been easily the most frustrating for me. Unrealistic drop rates combined with extended missions spanned out between weeks or locked characters has mostly been the culprits. I’ve encountered a new problem last night which I haven’t read about here, and haven’t heard back from tinyco. Clearing jabronis paid out expired coupons, but not adding to my totals. I am down 4 coupons due to this and don’t want to buy clams to buyout for giant chicken. Haven’t seen any voodoo dolls bringing my payout beyond 600 clams. I would have loved to get giant chicken since that’s pretty much how this game started, and being a player since 1 month after release. Tough break I guess. Bunny you succeed in going above and beyond expectations of any fan site I’ve come across, I sincerely thank you for all your dedication. End rant..

I just refuse to give tiny co money at this point. As tempted as I am with having the chicken it’s not gonna happen. If they wanted to two week a major character why do it where it’s at the end and not the beginning. The flipping chicken is the foundation of why this game exists. Each event they continually boggle the mind of how they seem to not want people to root for and continually enjoy the game. We are not talking nasa stuff here it’s a game with massive issues that still occur that cause the gamer to not finish quests and or the drop rates are insane and limited to certain characters that are tied in to other aspects of completing the quest with insane amount of time required. I know this is in the wrong place to be rambling about it but I really love the game and show and it’s really frustrating how they seem to be tainting it for so many die hard players and fans.

I had the glitch of one Voodoo doll dropping from the caged ring. I had one from Maxi Patty’s action shortly after I placed the Giant Chicken’s building, and have had nothing since. So, I’ve got 2/4 and haven’t had any drop since. I’ve sent a message in-game. Considering spending the 140 clams for the Giant Chicken and requesting a refund.

Not going to make it. Cage Match Ring never paid out. I would have been better off having Maxi Padi work on voodoo dolls all week instead of training for matches to earn the trophies/belts to unlock the CMR and all the unneeded stuff I had to get first before I was allowed to get the CMR.

Another underwhelming event. I just placed Giant Chicken’s restaurant this morning and just started Week 2 now. The last time I actually finished an event was probably New Years 2015. And now there’s going to be yet another event immediately starting? Very disappointed with the way this game is turning.

I was not a fan of this event. Yet another event where unless I spent a lot of money and was glued to the phone on the hour, I was not able to complete. It’s getting to be a pattern. I’ve been playing since the beginning and have spent quite a bit of money. But the “cost” of playing to complete an event is getting ridiculous. In previous events, there were always paths to get things complete by the end, quite often, even by the freemium players. Now as a premium player, I’ve got to either start doubling what I spend or just go back to being a freemium player.
Especially annoyed that I missed out on the giant chicken that was made available through a dumb wrestling event. Grr. Never even got close to getting it.

I had the glitch where since saturday i couldn’t do any matches, even though all 3 objectives were completed. The good news is when i messaged tiny co they said they were aware and working on a fix. The bad news is there wasn’t a fix until last night. The very bad news was it reset the objectives to incomplete, so in addition to being 5 days behind, you had to redo the quests. The worst news is.. That didn’t matter, there is no catching up, dont bother trying, the event ends today.
Why they would put a critical character like the giant chicken tied to a short 2 week event confuses me, even if the event wasn’t bugged.
I did find the event fun..until being locked out of it anyways.. It was a cute little time passer while we wait for the next event. And you guys at addicts were helpful as always..well.. Until I was stuck and no longer able to make use of the tips.
I guess the only thing left for me to do in this situation is scream all over here and Facebook how I’m going to /ragequitforever and then personally hold bunny accountable for all of my woes (because logic has no place on the internet but irrational wage does).
