The Greek Life is upon us and with it some pretty cool New Stuffs to Stuff into our Stuffed Game of Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff. And Stuff!

First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be updated to App Market Version 1.23.0 (live on iOS and Google so far, let me know if you see it on Amazon and Facebook)
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more
TIMER WARNING: Zeus is in the University Store. You will have 7 days to unlock him. If you do not unlock him in 7 days, he will go from the game. I will have more on this in a bit and further details as I play through it… just wanted to give you a heads up. This means ANY tap at all on the University Store. Even if it is your first tap just to see what is in there.

Similar to every Event, these are the points you will want to earn to increase your Game Play Level and be able to move on to the next Phase. Rush Levels will need to hit a certain amount every Thursday to update the Fountain. I will note the Rush Level needed for each Level as the information becomes available.
You can also tap on the Fountain to see when the Next “Bad guy Squatter” will spawn into your town and how many.

Capacity: Is the MAX amount of Offerings you can be creating in Queue and have completed in the game. My game started with a MAX Capacity of 8
Queue: Is how many Offerings you can make at one time up until you reach your Capacity MAX. My game started with a Queue of 6

CENTAURS
This will essentially be your first “Bad Guy Squatter” you will need to take out in Phase One to help you earn Materials needed for the Event. Centaurs will begin appearing around Greek Week Pt. 2.
Centaurs: Require 1 Ambrosia Offering to clear it
Similar to Squatters of the past, you will need to place the Ambrosia Offering in FRONT of the Centaur and ensure the Centaur turns purple. Once the Centaur turns Purple, place the offering by tapping the Check Mark. PURPLE = KILL. Again, make sure it is walking INTO the Kill Zone Circle AND he turns Purple before you place the item by tapping the Check Mark.
If the Centaur walks out of the Circle and is no longer Purple, wait. Move the Offering until it is in FRONT of the Centaur again and wait for it to turn Purple to tap the Check Mark.

ZEUS OFFERINGS/BATTLE
Get to Greek Week Part 5. I repeat Get to Greek Week Part 5. This will not unlock until you reach Get to Greek Week Part 5. So… Get to Greek Week Part 5.
Zeus in a way will be similar to a “Boss Battle”. Essentially you will keep Crafting Lightning Offerings in the Campus Altar to give to Zeus to make him happy. He will appear on his Throne in the Event area once you reach Greek Week Part 5.
You will have a specific amount you need to give him for each of his levels. You will have 24hrs to hit his HIGHEST level to gain the biggest rewards. After 24hrs, it will reset to the bottom Level 1 again.
In short, collect Lightning Offerings until you have enough for the Requirements for Zeus. Tap the “OFFER” button to give them to him. Wait for your Reward. Move up a Level.
As this WILL take time, I would suggest you might want to save up a few to clear as many Levels on him as you can and get the best rewards. Don’t stress if you can’t hit the highest level right away, it will take time as you continue to play through the Event and earn them faster.

1X Level
Cost: 2 Lightning Spells
Reward: 8 Ambrosia & 1 Golden Apple
2X Level
Cost: 4 Lightning Spells
Reward: 16 Ambrosia & 2 Golden Apples
3X Level
Cost: 6 Lightning Spells
Reward: 24 Ambrosia & 3 Golden Apples

Cost: 8 Lightning Spells
Reward: 32 Ambrosia & 4 Golden Apples
At this point, he will go into Cool Down. You can pay Clams to start battling him again immediately. Still verifying Cool Down time frame. Will update once I know.
There you have it, the basic overview of what is in store for you this first week of the New Greek Life Event. I have a lil more to go through and I will update this post once I do, but this should get you started anyway. Take your time getting used to it all. Don’t let stress cause you panic and make you regret purchase. PLAY THE GAME. See where you are in a couple of days. 🙂

I just started this game yesterday, and now I’m a bit overwhelmed. I don’t have a clue how to clear centaurs – I read the help sections, and I know that I gotta produce an ambrosia offering, and so I did. But when I placed it it just dissapeared into the ground. What do I do wrong, how is it supposed to be done?

No worries. Welcome to the madness. With the “Bad guys” essentially what is critical is the item you make must be placed in front of them. You will know it is there as they turn from their regular color to purple. This post from a previous event might help out to give you an idea… Let me know if it does.

I bought the Phi Beta Gryphon House last week, and it went into Inventory, briefly (I guess I didn’t have room on the board?) but, is now simply gone. How do I use this skin? Am I missing out on ambrosia drops all this time?

Why is the Ready to bolt pt.1 questline still active even though there’s no longer any way to unlock Zeus (which is one of the tasks required to advance that questline to pt.2)?

If you beat all 4 levels of zeus do you still have the option to spend clams to reset him. If so, does he reset back at level one or stay at level 4? Thank you.

You can spend clams to reset him and he will come back in at level 1 again I believe. Hold onto your clams though, I have found he comes back quite quickly once you defeat him 😉

just relogged… and has a new item drop from zeus, and hercules as a teir 1 task also. there is a new chracter called cronos you can buy, but not sure what his drop is for yet. he also costs clams.
and offering shrine or monument that costs clams, it give 4+ capacity. hopefully hades is up soon 🙂

Does Zeus return early for anyone if you defeat him? The first time, I only got to level 3 and he had a 24 hour cool down. The second time, I defeated him and his cool down was only an hour! I’m only going to get to level 3 this time, just wondering if the cool down is totally random or not.

I still had 8 hours left on my Zeus timer and he went into hiding anyway after I completed the level 4.. It’s really annoying because I noticed right after I put 6 more lightings back into cue and now I’m stuck only being able to craft offering a to kill 2 centaurs at a time… Is this normal?

Need some help figuring something out. Currently it shows 1,000 ambrosia and 2/10 apples equals 340 clams for Zeus. Ambrosia isn’t a problem for 1,000 but apples are tight. If I get close again to say 4/6 or 6/6 apples, it drops to about 140-200 clams. If I just hit the clam button on Zeus no matter the cost, will this unlock Zeus completely or does this only buy you an apple every time? Willing to click it if he’s about to run out on timer and it’s cheap enough is why I ask. Please help!

Yes if you buy for the clam remaining cost he will completely unlock for you.

I’m pretty sure it would completely unlock him and it’s not just buying an apple at a time. In other events the clam amount to unlock decreases as you gather more materials so if your only missing a few items the clam amount should be low. Like the skins in Al’s. There’s a clam amount to unlock but it decreases as you gather their items

I already have 1000+ Ambrosia and 2 apples from Zeus and when he wakes up again for me I’ll give him 2+4=6 and he’ll give me 3 apples .. that makes 5 .. i think i can unlock him in the coming 3 days .. Toga Peter’s items are still not complete for me yet …

It seems to me the 2nd cool down is much longer than 24 hours as the amount of clams increased from 16 to 24. Thanks tiny co. For the help on getting Zeus back quicker you cashgrabers.

You can get him first I think. I can click on him and see his requirements now, and I don’t have all buildings. This event seems to be like the Fairytale one; you get what you want in the order you want.

You can go straight to Zeus but you will need purchase others, but not all, for the main questline.

You can go for him first if you can get the resources. I personally got the 2 buildings that dropped scrolls to help me. The only buildings you need buy to progress through the Questline are the Phi Beta Gryphon, Fancy Marble Gazebo and the Parthenon.

Anybody else not always getting two laurel crowns from Dionysis’s Wine Shoppe? It says always in the University Store but during the actual task it says chance, so I wonder if it’s a mislabeling thing by TinyCo again.

Just unlocked Toga Peter, but did anyone else notice that in Al’s it shows Toga Peter will have a task to ALWAYS drop golden apples? I don’t see him having a task for golden apples, only Go Commando for dropping lightning spells. Will he have something Week 2?

I have loved Greek Mythology since 3rd grade and am super happy that they decided to put this event into the game.

They added another task for Lois that drops ambrosia: eat Greek yoghurt at Flappy Jack’s. It appeared when that task was in the main questline. Better deal than the satyr task, she gets 6 ambrosias in 4 hours instead of 9 ambrosias in 8 hours.

Really hating having the lightning offerings in the queue. I got #6 but it was too late, he was gone and there is nothing else to spend then on so I’m limited to 2 at a time till he gets back.
Thankfully it wasn’t 8 because I’d be completely hosed.
For once I’d consider buying something to increase the queue capacity but I don’t see an item that does that this time.
Poor planning in my opinion.

For those trying decide what to do with apples, be aware you need 8 apples and 500 Ambrosia to buy the Parthenon building to complete Part 9 of the main Questline. I’d rather not buy it as don’t need it but need we need it to move on.

Second hand info tells me that Zeus drops scrolls, so if you got him you would be able to get apples easier, afraid I haven’t got him yet to confirm though.

Being freemium, I’m hoping he contributes more than that given how difficult he is to obtain. There are already enough items/characters in the game that give scrolls. Too bad his timer will run out before week 2 content is released,

So, as Peter once so eloquently said “I’m *dying* over here!” Apparently my game didn’t update, and I was busy enough to not check addicts for a few days. I just found out that there was another event going on! I had to go grab the update and now suddenly I’m thrust into drunken guy. Yea! On another note, I’m sending well wishes your way Bunny. I too am dealing with some health issues, but can say that I think I might finally be on the upswing again. Thank Zeus! I hope you start feeling better soon too!

I messaged Tiny Co. in game but feel this is probably worth letting others know about. Dionyses Wine Shoppe states “Always drops 2 wreaths”. This is not true and has ruined my plan for a clamless Zeus unlock using Toga Peter for my additional lightning spells.

Haven’t had a response yet anarea, from what I can tell though, it does always drop 2 rather than 1 or 2. Can’t confirm it, as only happened twice and now I have Toga Peter. Good news is Toga Peter’s timer for lightning scrolls is 4 hours, so I’m back on track.

Got a reply saying they were aware of issues with the event that they are looking into, including issues with the respawn of Zeus timer being longer than expected ( I imagine they meant 24 hours).

I might actually get Zeus (1000 ambrosias and 10 apples) before trying to get toga Peter. It hasn’t been hard to get ambrosia with everybody who can do so scurrying around for it and clearing centaurs.
Getting apples for the character Zeus shouldn’t be hard either because now I have three buildings and Bruce for always drops of lightning spells. I did buy Zeus’s frat house, which drops lightning spells every four hours, using the extra clams I will get from the clam-generating Olympus. It’s such a neat building that I expect to keep it in my town rather than storing it. I don’t usually feel compelled to get event material dropping things with clams because they’re usually on the ugly/meh side and would just get stashed in inventory afterward. I then used my meager stash of apples from giving lightning offerings to the boss Zeus to get the two ambrosia/apples buildings on the phase 1 store page that drop lightning spells every six hours, plus Bruce drops every six hours also. In an hour, I’ll be ready to do a level 4 offering (8 lightnings) to get four apples and hopefully maintain at that level eventually. Not being able to sleep very long at a time because of a pesky medical condition flaring certainly helps the collections. Although I think I’d rather have the sleep. 😦
Often the phase 1 frickin’ hard item is actually doable and useful later. The later phase ones have never appealed to me so far, even if I could afford them.
Of course, I might end up in phase 1 forever, but who cares?!?

This is exactly what I did because of the time limit and the fact that Toga peter is a fixed drop rate. But, now that I have Zeus, the second quest in his (Ready to Bolt Pt 2) requires Toga Peter to watch a tv show. So, once you get Zeus, you’ll not go far without Toga Peter.

Yes. He stays for 24hrs (unless you completely beat him) then rests for 24hrs – this is when you should save up spells for his return.

He came back for me a few hours earlier than the 24 hour mark, but I heard someone say it was about 24 hours for his game. Somebody else was still waiting after 24 hours.

My timers have always been exactly 24 hrs. The awake time shows, the sleep timer dose not but he always has reappeared 24 hrs after I satisfy the 4th level offering.

I am three golden apples away from getting him. I haven’t been playing round the clock on the weekend but I managed to collect twice.
As soon as you have enough bottles to get the offering for the horsemen do it. For every horseman you get, put at least ONE offering in the Query. Make sure you do the you get the second building in the shop that gives you the scrolls to make lightening. I messed up on that otherwise I would have probably have all the apples by now. You will need 20 scrolls to get enough lightening. Since you have Bruce and the building making them that will roughly be about 4-5 days to collect them at 4 hours a pop. Have your scrolls at the ready while you work on the bottles. Since you only have 8 storage for offerings don’t make the lightening till you need them. When Zues comes, make your apples 8 at a time and offer them as you get enough 2 for 1x, 4 for 2x, 6 for 3x, and 8 for 4x and boom you have 11 apples. I have about 1200 from making on horseman offering per successful offering. My first set of bottles I got, I applied all of them until I had enough to start saving. 4 Horsemen are 100 so every 4 horsemen you will increase you ambrosia by 40, Since you will getting your horsemen offerings made from your horsemen, you will accumulate all the bottles from sending your characters on missions. I can’t remember exactly but that is about 50-70 if you don’t have Mayor West, Carter or Stewie. I bought 2 buildings and still have enough. Now if you want to quicken your scroll collects, get enough to get 3 apples and buy the other building that makes scrolls and you will go fro producing 12 scrolls a day to 18 thus reducing the amount of days IF you haven’t started the timer. I started the timer and didn’t play for 24 hours and I am sooo close.
Sorry if it is jumbled. I actually tried to develop a strategy this time and it actually worked.
If you do what I said it should take you roughly 4 days to get all the materials to get zues. If you don’t stay up late at night like I do, probably 3.5-4. I took longer because I don’t really play on the weekend and I can’t regularly check in

Neptune is the ROMAN God of the sea. POSEIDON is the GREEK God of the Sea.

My guess is that the cartoon figure they use for that god has been called Neptune in the show. Maybe somebody can remember for sure.
Besides, these are frat boys. Too busy drinking ambrosia to get their mythologies straight.

Maybe I’m slow but you commend we should save the spell up and then use them on Zeus so we can get the most reward out of it but it just seem to me that it’s the same no matter which level the multiplier we hit him with. We use 2 spell for the first 1x and get 1 apple and 8 spell for 4x and get 4 apples? Seems like it doesn’t matter when we use the spell cuz it’s the same right? Maybe I’m missing something.

As he takes 24hrs to reset… it’s best to make the most out of his payouts while he’s active I stead of once… wait a day… once… wait a day. It’ll take forever that way to get apples

Anyone find a use for Mount Olympus yet? It’s just a Deco right now… no earnings or anything. If you’re free-playing, definitely skip it for now.

Hey Bunny, apologies if I missed it in any of the comment, but was there any update on the Zeus cooldown time? I’ve been sitting on 8 lightning all day, cant make anything in the altar because I’m full….pretty annoying lol.

I would suggest never getting full up waiting for Zeus to return. Always leave at least one slot open so you can incubate an ambrosia offering to clear a centaur, for example. You can always clear a centaur repeatedly to get rid of it, so you can easily incubate another lightning once Zeus returns. Just stock up on the lightning spells but be careful about when you incubate them. If you’re willing to wait a few hours after Zeus returns, you can even leave two to four slots open.

I noticed a wording mistake. Where you mention what is needed for each offering to Zeus, you say that you need 2 lightning spells, then 4 spells, etc. but it should read that you need lighning “offerings” instead. I wish it was just the spells from Bruce’s task, but you have to create the offerings at the altar.

Anyone know how long Zeus is gone for yet. In my game he has been gone for almost 24 hour now and I can’t earn anymore Golden Apples. I do not want to spend clams to get him back. Anyone else having this issue?

For what it’s worth, once you “start” making offerings it seems to be on a continuous 24-hour cycle. In other words, after the “cool down” phase, he immediately starts counting down to the *next* cool down, rather than waiting until you’ve made your first offering. (There was no countdown initially that I noticed – the countdown only started once you made an offering.)

Need some help figuring something out. Currently it shows 1,000 ambrosia and 2/10 apples equals 340 clams for Zeus. Ambrosia isn’t a problem for 1,000 but apples are tight. If I get close again to say 4/6 or 6/6 apples, it drops to about 140-200 clams. If I just hit the clam button on Zeus no matter the cost, will this unlock Zeus completely or does this only buy you an apple every time? Willing to click it if he’s about to run out on timer and it’s cheap enough is why I ask. Please help!
