Hey there Greeks!
The 4th and Final Challenge has hit our silly lil games. Now before you all tell me… I KNOW the issue with Neptune put many off. I am still talking to TinyCo about it and will update anything more I hear outside of “working on it”. So hang in there.
In the meantime, here is the info for the 4th Challenge for Greek Life.

WEEK 4 CHALLENGE- 3 DAY TIMER
First up, and I say this every event, these Challenges WILL be hard. They are mainly put in the game for PREMIUM Players as it is very likely Clams will have to be spent to complete them. Know this going in. It is YOUR choice to take these Challenges. It is up to YOU to decide if they are worth it, or just pass on them. Also, this will trigger in Phase 4 of the Event, so make sure you have room in your task menu for it to pop up and be ready.
Here is Week 4…
It’s All Greek to Them Pt. 4
Peter Starts
Clear 15 Gryphons: Requires 1 Olive Branch Offering Each
Make 4 Offerings to Athena: Will Require around at least 15 Olive Branch Offerings depending where you are on her Levels
Clear 24 Reverse Mermaids: Requires 1 Seafoam Offering Each
Clear 20 Minotaur: Requires 1 Soul Offering Each
NOTE: The pop up says 20, the wording says 18 on the Minotaurs. I am in the process of getting clarification, but I assume since the counter portion is 18… it may be the one to go by.
****I will update the rest when I complete it as I have to wait for Spawns too.
There you have it. The Final Challenge for the Event.
Are you taking a risk and trying it? If so, suggestions/tips for other Players? Let us know.

I finished all the challenges and got the Kraken. They made all four plus the Kraken animated. I really like these decos.

My game had to clear 20 minotaurs.
When I hit 16/18, it stood still for the next 2 minotaurs i cleared, and after clearing 18, it then said 18/20

Well this should be interesting….3 days to get 24 reverse mermen and I get 3 reverse mermen a day if I am lucky. Guess I completely the 3 challenges for nothing, I’ll never get enough mermen.

That’s odd. Even after you clear those 3 no more spawn? I usually have up to 4 wandering around.

Unfortunately not…I actually just left the app and I have 9/24 so ya I won’t be completing this challenge

They just changed the counter to 20, this morning it was still 18.

Looks like they did a patch and I’m now showing as needing the 20 Minotaurs- take note anyone who thought they were finished at 18.

Even though it says 20 now, it is still check marked if you did 18

My week four never showed up. Never got past Neptune. All university items bought, though still have not unlocked Billy’s. Could this be my problem? Still fun for a freemium player.

Every week you need to complete the main questline to move onto the next week’s content. Unfortunately in this case you needed Billy Finn to complete the Week 3 questline.

As I’ve done throughout Greek Life, duration requirements for the challenge (not including spawn times, but you can mix up kills to make sure you get it all):
– 15 Gryphons = 15*0.25 = 3.75
– 4 offerings to Athena (back to back) = 16*0.25 = 4
– 24 Reversed Merman = 24*0.5 = 12
– 18 Minotaurs = 18*1.25 = 22.5
Total 42.5 hours. Upon release, about 60 hours were left in the event, so the challenge is perfectly doable.
Mind also that the requirements are tailed towards unlocking Megdusa (four Athena offerings = 10 Mirrors) and Ero Nightclub and Daycare (the rest), In fact, anticipating the latter, I’m finishing Zeus’ last offering to get enough Apples. This should enable me to finish Megdusa, the Challenge and all quests. Nice.

It was much less than 42.5 hours for me, as I already had stocked up on the Athena offerings to clear the 0/8 Gryphons for the main questline, which I was fortunately able to combo with the 0/15 for this challenge. That helped immensely, as the countdown (as of this writing) says 1d23h left and I only have 3 more fish heads and 10 more Minotaurs to go. I got this 🙂

With only 3 days left there’s nothing I can accomplish (Challenge or Megdusa) in that time, so I’m just going to focus on the Leader Board and if not to taxing the main quest line. Going after Week 3’s challenge almost knocked me out of the Top 5000, so there’s no way I’m wasting time on Week 4’s. As for Megdusa I need to get a ton of Arrows to get the buildings to get the items to unlock her skin. That’s a Sisyphean task to even think about starting.
Also I’m not even going to waste Arrows of unlocking anything from the University since there just isn’t enough time. 8.25 hours per Scroll is just too long at this point. If I put in an effort to even try I’d probably only get 1-2 anyways. That’s just not worth the hassle.

Had to look up “Sisyphean” lol. Though now I looked it up, I do recognise the story it refers to ^_^

The only thing that helped me was the arrows seemed to be an always drop in my game. But the Grecian Grounds sure don’t want to drop the mice for Megdusa, so who knows if I will get her. The horrendous uncommon drop strikes again.

Still stuck in phase 3 trying to unlock Billy Finn.
Fish Jesus 2/15 in last attempts
Another event where I won’t see final phase

Bunny, I might be wrong, but I thought I saw you say something about asking then for an extension or something along those lines. Last time, I went into my game, it showed the pop up that said that it’s still ending Thurs.

Extension on Neptune. They did add 24hrs.
Event extensions are very very very rare as they usually have Events planned out months in advance, so one movement can impact the entire rest of the year… which impacts those they made contract negotiations with to use their “copyright” characters, etc etc etc. In short, they are hard for any game house to do.

I don’t think this will be that hard, as of this post there’s 2d 20h left and I’ve already done the 4 offerings and 8/15 Gryphons. Plenty of time left. The tough part is those damn Gryphons and their unusual movement patterns, and sometimes when you click them, the green circle does NOT target them (sometimes it’s been not even close for me), so be careful with your aim, or you’ll miss!

Yes, the gryphons caught me out too when they first appeared as I’d been happily clicking straight away to attack all the previous wandering monsters… I soon learnt though lol!

Was there a special load screen for this event? I’ve had the normal one the whole time, but I thought I saw one with Zeus on one of the FG websites.

Nope. Basic

Hmmm… Perhaps I misunderstood the question, but there is definitely a “Greek” load screen on my iPhone, while loading up the app… It includes Megdusa, a Stone Chris, Peter in his toga, Tri-Bri, and Zeus in the background.

There is a special load screen but for some reason only shows on my iPhone not on my IPad etc. it looks little half hearted to me but I attach a copy.

I know why they didn’t fully push it… but … yah… It reverted to the generic one.

with only 3 days I see this challenge very hard to complete, besides if I can’t get the hippocampus, why bother? I guess I will be working in Megdusa only.

Hence why I put in my “disclaimer” as it is the same every event for the Challenges.
As to the issue with Neptune, explained that too. 😉

Clear 20 Minotaur: The wording says 20, but it shows 0/18…which is right?

Yah… I am still updating post and noted that. Testing it myself. I think 18 is right due to that is on the counter.
