I’m dreaming of an 8-bit Christmas, just like the ones I used to……… Enough with the singing already.
Ok, so it looks like Lois is about to get in the game, with the release of her new pixel character costume, 8-bit Lois which has arrived in our games as part of Phase 3 of Quahog’s Not So Silent Night.
Let’s take a look at what 8-bit Lois can do in our silly lil games.
8-bit Lois is a new Character Costume added during the third Phase of Quahog’s Not So Silent Night. As with (almost) all Character Costumesin TQFS in order to unlock it you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
For 8-bit Lois, the STUFF you have to earn for can be seen in Al Harringtons.

500 Stocking Stuffers
10 Pixel Wines (Extra Rare): Monkey Kong Kidnap Damsels OR Ghostly Gift OR Revved Up Toy Raceway
7 Pixel Lipsticks (Rare): Mort Shop the Sales OR Tap This! Soda Shop
12 Pixel Pills (Rare): PAC-MAN’s Haunted House OR Drawn-In Theater OR PAC-MAN Ice Maze
She does come with a Questline, Pixel Peeping, more on that in another post.
8-bit Lois does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Stocking Stuffers & 
Dream Points. She also has a task which has a rare drop for 
Ghostly Gifts.

This is a the worst event I’ve had so far. Almost nothing is dropping. I’m so far behind I’ll never get caught up. Stuck in week 3 with no blue boxes, lipstick, or glasses.

I see everyone is struggling with drops for Lois. Since Friday I’ve only been missing two pills for 8-bit Lois and no luck with the drops throughtout the weekend. That’s over 6 collections each from two buildings, and NO bloody pills. Sometimes I think I should thank TinyCo for doing this and allowing me to move on.

I just wanted to share my story…
I, too, am having horrible drops on the lipstick and pixel pills. I read all the comments on this thread, the other post about Lois, the week 3 posts, etc and figured that I would reach out to support. Their response was almost immediate and the “assured me” that the drops are normal, and they said that nobody else is having problems (which is clearly not the case, since there are MANY posts on these threads of the same problem).
I had 1 of the Pixel Pill buildings for about 5 days and had 0 drops. I didn’t start getting drops until I had both buildings and in the last 2 or 3 days, I’ve had 3 drops. That may be normal for a 4 hour building rare drop (1 drop every 6 collections), but that doesn’t explain 4 or 5 days with 0 drops (about 16-20 collections).
I have had the lipstick building for 3 days and it has dropped once (2 lipstick), and the character drop has dropped a total of 3 times in the past 6 or 7 days. So that would be a total of 18-22 collections with 4 total drops. That seems more rare that “rare”, but I may be wrong.
They said they cleared my cache on their end, so I should see more drops – whatever that means.

The crazy thing is I got all the extra rare wine with monkey kong since I didn’t notice the building went into inventory instead of being placed.
And I was done with them before I got any pills despite placing those building pretty early.

After reading comments on this site, I suppose I’m in pretty good shape especially since I started this phase two days late on purpose because I wanted to finish getting MonkeyKong. I’ve gotten 80’s Brian (which doesn’t help that much with a 12hr drop, so 2 extra blue boxes a day). Need 1 lipstick and 2 wine to unlock Lois and I need 2 more pills to get the last building from the plaza. I did buy Pac-Man to help with the blue boxes, but besides the clam generating building, that’s the only premium I’ve done. Lucky drops for me I suppose. The drop rates for this week are horrendous. Rare box, rare to extra rare items for Pixel Lois and the Pellets. I haven’t seen the outfit for Brian either, but I now have barrels coming out of my ears. I’m averaging 1.5 barrels for every box I open. Only seen two lipstick so far and only having two options to obtain then at 8 hours, it’s going to be a while.

80s gamer Brian was fairly easy or maybe I got lucky I got him the same day I started phase 3 he drops ghostly gifts but it’s a 12 hour task I did get 4 more pixel pills a little while ago just need 4 more to unlock lois I have everything else if I can get 2 more before the night is over I’ll just use clams to get the rest because she is needed to continue in the main quest line

Please inbox Tiny Co about the pills if you haven’t. I did but they commented “if the bribe isn’t opened they wont drop”. I only have 2 pills from one drop 2 days ago. I have both buildings and check often. The more people comment the better. Thanks.

The pills have been incredibly rare – it’s all I lack from unlocking this Lois skin…and like you, I have both buildings and check often…

Yeah. Saw the pills as being my bottleneck this week. Had both buildings since last week and currently have 5 drops (10 pills) from 29 attempts. Think I went all weekend without getting anything.

Same here had the buildings since last Thursday And only have 6 of the 12 required , I’m hoping once I get pixel Lois it’ll up the odds of getting 80s Brian as I’ve had 4 characters on tasks getting the blue boxes about the same length of time and still no Brian 😦

As a day one player, no character in an event has been as difficult to unlock as Pixel Lois. Drops are atrocious. Not one lipstick from Mort yet.

Yes, same here, the pills have not dropped for days, I have only two! Both buildings are not dropping. Our luck is due for a change.

I was so unlucky with pixel pills even though I placed the buildings early enough and checked it often. Now I had a row of drops and only last two are required. It’s like the last reason I enter the game since I almost gave up finding Brian in the box and stocking stuffers won’t stop piling up. This time the phase is pretty boring and miscalculated I suppose. But TinyCo probably will continue with some awesome things on the new year and christmas

Anyone else having a hard time getting the pixel pills? I got the two buildings that drop them within 24 hours after the week three content was released and have only gotten 4 of the 12 required so far. Seems like extra rare drop rate to me.

I’m at exactly the same point. The other items for 8-bit Lois were dropping quite quickly so I went for the Pixel Pill dropping buildings first, but am stuck on four as well.
While waiting there hasn’t been much going on. Attacking Sams, wizards and turtles is just time consuming and repetitive now, I can barely justify bothering to open the gift boxes unless it’s the ghost ones.

I’ve gotten around a dozen or so clams from the qbert box so that one is worth opening too, but I hear ya Banderpop.

Yes, and the ghost box can give the barrel box which can drop a pyramid box which can drop the clam, so yes, still worth opening. But I am also not into repeatedly hitting the sams, Wizards, and Carolers three times, it’s tedious, where is the fun in it?

That’s a handy reminder about the clams. I have around 150 unopened presents from previous weeks that aren’t needed for anything useful anymore, so might as well go through them all to see if they award me any clams!
