  1. Has anybody had the week 5 challenge trigger yet?

  2. I did take the time (in between taking down the Christmas decorations!) to clear out the excess presents in the Plaza – amazing how some of them pile up, especially after you no longer need them! I had 60+ barrel boxes which yielded additional Q*bert packages – I got 4 – 5 clams out of 50+ Q*bert packages, so worth the effort…yes, the vast majority were event currency, but clams are clams, so wasn’t going to let those packages disappear at the end of the event…as I mentioned earlier, I just feel like this event went a a little too long, too involved especially during a busy family time of year…gave up on the main quest line (still need 4 bedtime stories for Onsie Mayor West), but I’m not worried about getting that – it’s a costume, and I’m not spending clams on costumes so close to the end of the event…I just hope TinyCo lets us breath a little before the next event – I’ve got all the side quests for the characters/costumes I earned to go,,,Again, decent event, a little long, and please give us a few days to clear the tasks, TinyCo, LOL…

  3. Decent event, just too long, IMHO…and I hope we get a little break befroe the next one to finish up the new characters side quests as I have put off all of them to get event-needed stuff…

  4. Here is my main tip for other players – Don’t bother with the last questline unless it is in line with what you would be doing anyway. You do not need it to move forward, it will disappear when the event is over, and the “award” for finishing is more event currency, which you probably won’t need by the time you finish the line! Just focus on getting the characters and items you want. If you want to work on questlines, do the character questlines, as they will remain after the event, and you want to clear them to make room for other tasks!

    Happy New Year!

  5. To my amazement I stayed caught up. I only need to finish unlocking Onsie Mayor West for his task and Black Jesus for his task. This will be a first.

  6. That is what I thought. Did I miss something or are there actually still two locked spots in Present Plaza?

    Like

    • Yeah. But not seeing anything that would suggest they will be used for anything.

    • The two locked spots are because this interface has been recycled from previous events where six options were available. TinyCo does this all the time, most events are based on the same coding just with different ‘wrappers’ – which is why sometimes when you tap on something you still get the sound effect of a previous event. Must be a big saver in coding resources but also means over time events become repetitive.

  7. Also stuck at 6, but only need one more robofuel so maybe I will get lucky. Black Jesus may be a problem though. I put down the building that drops the Holiday Wreath Crowns several days ago. However, I only have 8 of the 14 required. With it being an 8 hour timer and a Rare drop, I’m beginning to think Black Jesus may not happen… On a bight spot I have over 16,000 stocking stuffers haha!

  8. Stuck at part 6 and doubt I will get past it given the drops for fuel right now.

  9. Is this the final week?

    Like

    • Event due finish 4th January

      Like

      • Seems fairly likely to be extended, given the final weekly challenge not having appeared yet and the usual ‘event ends tomorrow’ notice remaining conspicuously absent… right? I won’t mind as my Black Jesus buyout price is still 80 clams more than I can afford, so I’ll be happy to keep trying to bring that cost down for a little longer!

        • Honestly no idea if any extension planned. But the challenge may be late due to New Year Holidays and just 24hrs like last week’s was. So could still drop today. It’s a wait and see situation.
