Hey there Addicts, it’s a new year but same old me I’m afraid!!!
Looks like a robot in disguise has blasted into Quahog in 2017. Yes Negatron made an appearance in our stores on New Years Day. 
Negatron is a New Premium Character added during Phase 5 of the Quahog’s Not So Silent Night Event. He costs 250 
clams. As with all premium characters it is your choice to determine whether or not he is someone you want to add to your game.
He does come with a questline, Less Than Meets The Eye, we’ll have more on that in a later post.
Negatron does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Greenact Balls, Turtle Shells, Power Pellets, Rainbows and Robo Fuel. All his tasks also drop Stocking Stuffers & Dream Points.
Let’s take a closer look at Negatron’s Tasks:

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event Ends.

Im not exactly sure why, but it really irritates me when the Bad Guy we have to fight is also a playable character in the game. It seemed rather confusing for many during the (mostly) Greek Gods event.
Not that it affects me in this instance, since I’m certainly not dropping so many Clams on a non-canon character AND I never made it to Phase 5 (I finally spent the Clams to get the last 3 triangles for Rupert & hoping to unlock Black Jesus in this last 24hrs!), so he wouldn’t be helpful anyway. Heh.

Yes While the character is still not as cool as Megatron, they did fix the audio. I didn’t think they would since it’s been how long and they never fixed it for Neil Goldman ( which has a task for building tokens now)

Do I want to buy clams to get Negatron? Yes. Am I going to? NO WAY. I spent up on getting PAC-MAN and that was fine. I have since had the problem where upon opening a gift the game would crash. Then when opening the game again the gift would open and crash. Only fix was to email tiny co and two days later it was fixed with lost progress. This happened twice and I have missed nearly a week of event time. No compensation just an email saying it has been fixed.
I am genuinely hating this event at this point. Gift drops are a scam pooring out useless garbage and the event is plagued with ridiculously low drop rates on essential items. Really destroyed the fun in this game.
