Do I Want That? Miami Cop Cleveland

So you think you’re as rich at Carter Pewterschmidt? Own a fancy house like Buzz Killington? You sure gotta lot of clams there, whatcha gonna do with them?

BUY LOTS OF STUFF OF COURSE!!!

Clams

Now hold on there a minute. Are you SURE you want that? With all these cool Quahog Heat limited time event items in the game, it is very easy to get carried away. Before you know it, Clamshell Shock! All gone!

So before you go ahead and buy the Miami Cop Cleveland character costume with your hard-earned Clams, here’s a few things you might want to know about him.

Character Costume: Yes ***And if you don’t already have Cleveland you’ll get him at no extra cost with this costume***
Clam Price: 230 Clam IconClams
Unique: Yes

PROS:

  • A new costume for Cleveland that lets us see his Miami style.
  • If you don’t have Cleveland you will get him at no extra cost with this costume.
  • Can help investigate the Bowling Alley Rental Counter.
  • Can attack Tiny Tom, doing 4 damage, this is the highest of the damages available.
  • Fully tasked with Questline.
  • 2 fun permanent animated tasks and 1 temporary animated event task.
  • Task to drop Donuts, although this is only a plus if you’ve none of the characters already dropping plenty.

CONS:

  • Frakkin 230 CLAMS!!! Although if you’ve not got Cleveland this isn’t so bad to be honest.
  • If you already have Cleveland it’s just  another costume.
  • No joint animated task with Miami Cop Peter
  • Event only has 4 days left, so you won’t get a lot of use out of his event tasks.
  • Won’t be useful after the Event.

MATH OF IT:

Well there is none, he has no essential drops, just a task to drop some donuts that we have plenty of, the main purpose of this premium buy is to give you an advantage in investigating The Rental Counter to find Punks and bust TIny Tom, you can then use him for attacking Tiny Tom.

Think of this, Miami Cop Cleveland can start to do investigations immediately in Room 1 in the Bowling Alley, The Rental Counter. This room only needs 3 rare Police Tape per investigation as opposed to the 4 needed for other rooms. So that’s a plus straight away if my Police Tape drops are anything to go by so far.

The Rental Counter is the only room apart from the Bowling Lanes where you can bust Tiny Tom, so it’s 3 Police Tape as opposed to 4 Police Tapes for each investigation once you need to bust him.

The Rental Counter is otherwise out-of-bounds until you unlock Confused Dazed Brian and that’s going to take a lot of clams or time. You can of course investigate the other rooms with Lifeguard Lois, Workout Bruce, Pamela Anderson & Miami Cop Peter, and with only 4 days left they will be enough if you’re Police Tapes are dropping ok.

Also Miami Cop Cleveland can help fight TIny Tom once you bust him during an investigation. He’s the only character apart from Pusher Mort that can do 4 damage, so he’s going to be a good help there, but with careful timing etc even freemium Miami Cop Peter can defeat Tiny Tom, so for 4 days you again have to think carefully if he’s worth it.

And another quick reminder of who else can help investigate rooms:

Rental Counter – Confused Dazed Brian (needs unlocked to use)

Bowling Lanes – Pamela Anderson or/and Miami Cop Peter

Snack Bar – Workout Bruce and/or Lifeguard Lois

And who else can attack Boss Bertram: Miami Cop Peter, Chopper Cop Quagmire, Moustache P.I. Joe, MacGyver, David Hasselhoff & Pusher Mort

Final Thought:

Personally, I usually only buy a character costume if it’s something I really want in my game, I rarely buy just because it will help in an event. But I have to say if I didn’t already have Cleveland I would have taken the plunge immediately, as you are getting the character free with the costume, and then you have the added bonus it will help a lot in this short Phase: with the cheaper investigations, and inflicting a lot of damage on TIny Tom. If you’re desperate to get Cleveland, short on time, or like a hand up in events this is a very tempting buy. Where I think it isn’t good value is for players like myself who already have Cleveland, 230 clams for a costume that will be of use for 4 days, way too high a clam price in my opinion.

So basically if you’ve not got Cleveland, this is a good chance to get him, yes he was available freemium once upon a time but hey he’s also been priced at 400 clams, so 230 clams for the character, costume and event help, hell yes, buy it. If you’ve got Cleveland already I’d let this one slide unless you really want him to partner up with Miami Cop Peter. Although TinyCo haven’t even thought to give them a combined task, which is a pity, I’d like to have seen them combine to show us some Miami moves.

With it being part of a Limited Time Event, just make sure you make up your mind as once the event is over it is most likely they will be gone. In the end it’s your call.  What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think.  But don’t purchase it until YOU are sure. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

  1. Once again, RT, I think you summed it up well, I think I bought him for 300 very early in the game, so for the new player, not a bad price…for the rest, unless one is inclined to be a completest and can throw clams into the wind, this one is a total pass…230 clams for a 4-day costume, wow…sticker shock…no, thank you…
