MIGHTY GRIFFIN POWER RANGERS EVENT ENDS 4/19/2017 @3PM PACIFIC
We will have a link to the Event Page shortly, so keep an eye out for Peter Ranger Icon to appear and it will be the shortcut to the Event Page. The Event Page is now up, you’ll find it HERE.
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.43.2 or higher in order to see the event. (So far the Update has hit on Google and iOS, so make sure you go load it. The others, well… they will take their usual up to 24hrs+ to update.)
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Alâs complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Donât have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more.
Keep in mind we put up the LIVE posts as soon as it hits the games, however we do still have to play through the game ourselves to pull info and verify accuracy of content before supplying it to you. Be patient and keep checking the post and refreshing it as we will update it as we play along.Â

We here at the Addicts are not sure as to why it is not available in certain countries. We can only speculate there is something there not or within negotiations not allowing it. POWERCON COMMAND CENTER
Here is where you will us Zeo Crystals to make your Quahog Characters turn into Zords so you can Attack Kaiju and gain more needed Materials for the Event.

MAKE A ZORD/COMBINE: You will have first tap on the Command Center to select the Zord you want to Make, then just tap “Combine”. It will ask you if you want to spend the Subcrystals amount listed to make it. Select Yes to start Process. You will then see the Zord walk out of the Command Center. You can then combine them with the other Characters you unlock to make a more powerful (higher energy) Zord.

Zord Tasks: Once you “Combine” and make a Zord, you will see variable Tasks they can perform and how much of their “Energy” it will take for them to complete it. Once that task is done, if it depletes all of the Energy, you will have to go back to the Command Center to “Decombine” and start again. (Mine was smoking above it making it easier to find). If your Energy is still going, you can keep sending them on Tasks until it reaches Zero again.

DECOMBINE: Once your Zord is out of Energy, you have to pull it apart and rebuild it again with the Subcrystals. You can locate the Zord and see the Lightning Bolt slashed sign over it. Tap on it to start process or you can return the Command Center, tap on “Decombine”
Additional Characters to Add MORE Energy for Tasks: Once unlocked, tap on the additional Characters before tapping on “COMBINE” to Combine them with the Zord you are Making and they will be that much Stronger

KAIJU
So far I have not unlocked anything yet (have Red Ranger Peter) to battle the Earth Kaiju or any other Kaiju. When I am able to trigger them, I will update more.
You will start to see Kaiju in The Family that Cosplays Together Pt. 6. The first one you will see is the Earth Kaiju. These appear in one of the Four Openings in the Event Area. The Earth Kaiju in the one in the lower Left corner with the Vines wrapping around the Platform.
Kaiju: Will require a Zord to Battle them.

Attack Kaiju: Once the Zord is created at whatever Combination you chose, tap on the Kaiju. You will see the option to “ATTACK”, Tap on it to select a Zord to Battle the Kaijui. Or you can just go to the Zord and tap on it to pull up it’s Tasks. There you will see the New Battle Tasks you can use depending on the Zord’s Current Energy Level (it will go up n up each time you defeat him).

Battle Time: For my first Earth Kaiju Battle I used the 3 Energy Kaiju Task as it does 2 Damage and the Earth Kaiju was only 1 needed (No need to waste Energy). I selected the 3 Energy option from the Zordo’s Task List and started the short Task. The Zord Shot its beam at the Earth Kaiju for 45 secs and then a Check Mark appeared. Tapping on the Check Mark will end the Battle and payout the rewards. Then it kicks to the Next Level for the Kaiju.

Character Combinations: Use your Subcrystals wisely as the cost is the same to make the Combinations with the extra Characters as it is to make just the Zord alone. You will want to go through as many Battles as you can with the Kaiju to get the best possible Payout. Just use the Energy wisely.
Cool Down Timer: 5hrs, once I got to 10 Heart Level my Kaiju went into “Cool Down”. The option to pay 40 Clams also appeared to Respawn right away. Just tap on the Earth Kaiju location in your game to see the cost and time left. He will Respawn back at 1 Heart Level

How’s everyone doing w getting red ranger? Starting to remind me of chips and trying to get ponch – never could since I only got 5 of 7 of the last item needed – going around the clock. Only 1 watch after 24 hours – odds ain’t good. And that’s with Herbert, mort and building going every 4 from near start of timer. Hope the drops get better in next few days…

In my first day/24 hours – I got 3 t-Rex (need 10), 4 slingers (need 10), 3 guns (need 6), 2 wrist communicators (need 9), and all of the medals/buckles. I have all of the buildings (no premium characters). It’ll all come down to the comm’s – wonder if those drop rates will improve mid-way through the timer. At least this allows me to focus on getting crystals so I can get my 7 cups for the gym to move on.

Now need 4 t-Rex, 8 slinger, 2 blaster and 8 communicators in less than 5 days. So far seems like communicators have dropped 1 in 10 chances from all 3 sources, and my building has yet to drop any.

Don’t see me getting the red ranger. In 2 days I have had Herbert and Bruce on the task for the extra rare item and the building for it and not one has dropped yet. 11 are needed. Bloody joke. Why do tiny co constantly pull this garbage all the time????

Ok, how do you get 10th energy? When I fought the 10, I had to do 6/2/2 ..know what I mean? Combining Peter only gets it to to 6

Yeah, until you unlock the Red Ranger, you need to combine with Red Ranger Peter and do 6+2+2. You can also do 6+6 as costs same in Red Zeo but you lose out on a task completion drop that way. Once you unlock the Red Ranger you can combine both he and Peter and have a 10 damage T Zord. So I’d battle him to get the cups you need then concentrate on unlocking the Red Ranger and building up Red Zeo then you can attack at higher levels easily.

[it’s gonna be a long but (imho) useful post]
i did a little math and figured out what’s the most efficient way to fight Earth Kaiju, what you should keep in mind:
– always use the combination with the most energy (it doesn’t cost more Crystals + you get more Energy = you can make more Damage)
– use the least amount of Crystals
– “lose” the least amount of Damage point (e.g. 6 Damage on 3 Heart will result in 3 Damage loss, which means Energy loss too)
– don’t use more Energy/Damage if it both will result in 0 Heart (e.g. on 2 Heart Kaiju with 5 Energy Zord use 3 Energy = 2 Damage, instead of 6 Energy = 6 Damage, thus you will save 2 Energy which you can still spend on other tasks *since you need at least 3 Energy for an attack, you’ll have to decombine on 2 or less Energy, so why waist it*)
the following apply only if you collected the required amount of crystals (or else you would run out of time, Heart level would drop to 1 and you’d need more crystals)
H – Heart level
E – Energy
D – Damage
C – Crystal
G – Green Souvenir Cup (you need 6 for Red Ranger buildings, so i’ll count them too)
– T Zord itself is not efficient at all (and you need to have Red Ranger Peter at this point, so definitely combine them)
– if you don’t have the Red Power Ranger:
T Zord + Red Ranger Peter = 6E (always combine)

Ok I battled 1 heart then got to the two heart but didn’t beat it. Phone kept crashing when is deconstruct, but force closed and I was able to do it. But now I have no part 7. Anyone else?

Game crashes but the issue I have is the battle. I use the 6 energy battle after pairing with Peter and I only get 1 hit and 1 of the reward things needed to get the zoo. Doesn’t make sense how long this takes as you have to wait for Chris to fight a red Ranger 3 times to get enough rods to even get a zord. Am I doing something wrong? At this rate I’ll never beat the red Ranger timer.

3 even though I battled earlier with a 6 energy using Peter and the zord. Shouldn’t it be defeated in one shot or at least less than 3???

As soon as you defeat it at 1 Heart level, it will immediately return stronger, at 3 Heart Levels, then at 5, then 7 and 10. You need keep defeating through the various levels. If you are sure you already attacked the 3 heart level with 6 damage, then yes you would have defeated him completely, and you should send TinyCo a support message in order then can check your game. okay so i’m not really sure what i should be doing or focusing on the MOST!:i have Red Ranger Peter almost unlocked and i’m on pt.5 of “The Family That CosPlays Together”;i also have built& decombined the T-Zord a couple of times too…i have NOT yet repaired to start the timer on the Red Power Ranger so can i still collect the T-Power Morphors from T-Zord before that?…also trying to figure out when it should be good to start that timer though ?

of course TinyCo would require 11 extra rare drops on a timer to get red ranger. SO DUMB. they never learn or take feedback over the last year. They clearly don’t care at all about their players who are deleting the game daily as I’m at that point now as this game hasn’t been fun in a long time

No just Carl & Steve, the characters themselves, have you scrolled down their tasks as the tasks are not at the top of the task list like the usually are.

I am as having an issue with the Zord deconstruction. Everytime I go to deconstruct my zord my game freezes and force closes.

It’s happening off n on. I’m on Android and it happened to me. I cleared out some buildings n put everyone on Tasks to cut the memory drain.
Force closed app, restarted, no issues since.
I’m keeping an eye on it though and letting them know. đ

The only message I’ve received from TinyCo was to clear cache and that will ‘solve the problem…” So, to play, the order has been: deconstruct -> CRASH -> clear cache -> shut down and re-start phone -> open game -> and it’s either been deconstructed, or I have do to this multiple times in order to force deconstruction…I have an HTC One 8 with plenty of memory and no issues outside of FGTQFS…contacted them again yesterday afternoon, nothing back so far…
Very frustrating event even early on – my overnight drops were ZERO, nothing for the PR Peter costume, nothing for Red Power Ranger, and ZERO lightning key chains…I was really hoping this event would be one where TinyCo stepped up and delivered after the debacle that four out of the last five events were, but really bad drop rates coupled with a persistent glitch that they think is a cache problem has made me feel they have reached a point where they are focused elsewhere and putting minimal efforts into this game as they ramp up the Futurama game…ugh…a new low, spectacular…

Bunny I put buildings away in my town to help with the memory drain like you said and my game still freezes when I go to deconstruct the zord. I’m playing on IPhone 5 by the way.

Is your game saved to an email or Facebook that you know password to and can easily recover? I ask as I also from time to time with clear cache and data, uninstall game, restart device, reinstall the game.
Reason for this is that the system hangs on to old data and still stores it within your device taking up unnecessary space that many may not be aware of, so at times a simple uninstall/reinstall can help. Not to mention if any corrupted data snuck in there or is still floating around in there… uninstall/reinstall will really help you.
Just got to make sure you have a way to log fully back in, LOAD your saved game file, and recover all your game play. Linking the game to known Facebook or an email will help make that process go so much quicker. I also keep handy a copy of my Player ID (Menu, Account, number in lower right corner). That also helps in case I am stuck to send TinyCo my ID to recover my game easily.
Let me know if any of this helps. I always forward on info like this to them. I also know the memory drain I experience in this game, it can really impact some devices more than others… even brand new ones. It is such an odd memory drain beast. Lol. đ

I’m having the same issue. The fix I found was to deconstruct my zord, then go to Ollieland and come back and it seems to work every time for me.

I’m going to start with the Kaiju Zoo as it’s the only way to get The Thunder Slingers, after that I’ll look at how th drops are going from characters on the other items before deciding what to buy next.

This is the first event since I started playing this game back… well a long time ago, that I have got no single connection with!
Power Rangers??! Is it my age (26)? Am I too old to know them? Am I too young to know them? Or is it perhaps because I am from The Netherlands and they weren’t popular here like in the US or so?

The original U.S. version was in the 90’s, so I would say your at the borderline of too young, but could still see/hear traces of the last couple seasons from the early 2000’s.
Also, the new Power Rangers that came out this weekend is what most of this event is supposedly based on, so you could still get into it and be caught up quickly, but there will be a few things from the original like the costumes (Red Ranger Peter) not the characters you unlock (Red Ranger-timed).
Being from The Netherlands could also play a small part as they were internationally popular, but maybe not as much in certain markets as others.
As for checking it out, I was a huge fan in the 90’s as a kid and started to dislike it in the early 2000’s when they changed everything. I have since rewatched it as an adult recently and while I still enjoy it because it was part of my youth, I can definitely understand why someone younger would call it “cheesy/corny” or bad acting and bad computer graphics/editing. You just have to remember this was the early 90’s before all this fancy equipment of today and at that time was considered acceptable for a Saturday morning 30 minute kids show đ

The only issue i have come across is that the rewards from the red rangers don’t land where the ranger was. I have Rita and Chris fighting them and Rita’s rewards are landing near Chris and vice versa.

if the Red Power Ranger is timed and we need Kaiju items to get buildings for him doesn’t this mean we MUST start his timer in order to progress to Part 6 and get Kaijus ??! this is very sneaky from TinyCo !!!!!! i’ll delay for a bit and at least get Lord Zedd’s Sleeping Chamber … (24 keys omg)

You need to start Red Ranger timer to complete Pt 5 of the main Questline, as to get Kaiju in your game you need to be at Part 6 of the Questline. I’m going concentrate unlocking Peter costume then plan my next move.

The keychains are even worse than police tape. I’ve gotten zero so far. I’d still rather have them drop common and just have a higher cost for the buildings. At least that way it would feel like we’re accomplishing something by getting the drops.

Stuff spawning every few minutes? I’m not seeing that. The puddy’s spawn maybe every 3-4 hours, maybe more. That’s what I’m experiencing anyways.

Me too, all worked fine only at the first time I combined/decombined my zord; now the zord remains on the field every time I try to decombine it, and if I tap on its icon the game crashes đŚ

I de combined it at the field and it just rebuilt itself, no crashing though, so I de combined it again on the field then went into the Command Centre and this seemed to complete things. Not sure if this will help as I’m not crashing.

Not necessarily. They used older Halloween and Christmas Character but didn’t re-release them at the time. Just a way of letting players that have been playing a while or invested a lot in these Characters to still get a use out of them now and then. đ

For the research for feedback: Add another round of six without the key chain. That’s 30 tries with nothing. After my last message I closed down everything and restarted my device. IPhone 6. Next step is deleting the game and reinstalling

This is getting humorous now. 36 tries with no keychain. I have 31 power coins and 28 power con pins but not a single keychain. Oh for 36? How is that possible? I try to stay positive and give events a chance but this doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy about the “new” gameplay. I’m cool to sit this event out if that’s the message TinyCo is sending to me.

Try scrolling down to their 8hr tasks; I finally found the Coin-earning Tasks for Lyle & Neil (the only extra characters I have) when I checked their entire Task list. For whatever reason, those Tasks have not moved to the top of the list, like Event Tasks usually do. Weird.

And Im bummed out that I misread it as Stan, because I have Stan, but dont have Steve. Oh well – 2 extra characters helping is still great! đ

I believe it was immediate, but guaranteed triggered no later than Part 3 of ‘The Family that Cosplays Together’; however, it’s not Stan it’s Steve

I see many of you not really feeling the Power Rangers or not having much knowledge. I am a proclaimed superfan of the original storyline. Years 1-6. I will be seeing the movie this weekend, I dressed as a ranger as a kid, I have Zord toys, and I will be meeting Jason David Frank at my local Comic-Con this year. If any of you need anything ranger related or just want to know about any ranger references I’m here for you.

It has to be Carl the mart owner (from the TV show) as opposed to Carl (the fan) from Peterpalooza event. If you have the right Carl his task is at the Stop n Shop

I like the clam dropping buildings, I’ve already calculated it’s a good buy immediately even though my dear wife and I will be on a 6 day cruise in the next week where my phone will be out of range and locked in a room safe…even with the travel time, the 250 clam investment should yield a minimum of approximately 310 clams…not a great return, but a positive one…just my thoughts…
