The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are now going into their third Phase of play in our silly lil games. What madness will this Phase 3 bring? Let’s take a look at the new content for Mighty Morphin Griffin Rangers!

Keep in mind we put up the LIVE posts as soon as we can after it hits our games, however we do still have to play through the game ourselves to pull info and verify accuracy of content before supplying it to you. Be patient and keep checking the post and refreshing it as we will update it as we play along. Also I’m starting this live post, not Bunny as she’s unable to do so, and I don’t have access to Bunny’s test game to get verified info as quick as she does. Lotty & I are pulling what we can from our games as quick as we can, but please remember we’re just ordinary players like yourselves.
But I do understand you want the Blue Power Rangers unlock requirements and the Water Kaiju’s Heart and Reward details asap, so I will update the post regularly with info as I get it.

First up, the Basics
- Players will need to have completed Power Conned Pt. 8
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.43.2 or higher in order to see the event.
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more.

This character unlock will trigger at Pt. 2 of the Main Questline where you will be required to find him, and be warned he is a TIMED CHARACTER!!! As soon as you “repair” you will only have 7 days to collect all Materials for Blue Power Ranger. You can delay this by not repairing him until you’re ready. My advice is to build up some Blue Zeo SubCrystals first.

This will be the Main Currency you will be collecting throughout the Event. You will find the Counter for it in the Top Middle of your Game Screen.

These are the New “Bad Guy” for this Phase of the Event. They appeared in Pt 1 of the Main Questline, Ranger Danger. I started with 2 on my play area, but soon had 4 in total.

Any recommendations on how to unlock Blue Ranger Joe and the Blue Ranger? Both require items that can only be obtained by attacking the Water Kaiju. However the only characters that can be used to make the Zord to fight the Water Kaiju are Blue Ranger Joe and the Blue Ranger. So what are we supposed to do?

You can attack without Blue Ranger Joe or the Blue Ranger, I keep highlighting this in the Zord posts but players are still missing the fact you can just create the base energy Zord. For this it’s the basic Triceratops DinoZord,which can attack and defeat the 2 Heart Water Kaiju. Basically collect 4 blue crystals, go to the Power command Centre, tap on the Blue Zord, then tap on Combine, agree to using the 4 crystals and voila you’ll have a Triceratops DinoZord available, it will only have 3 energy, so you can only attack the 2 Heart Water Kaiju. Then you let the Water Kaiju time out and return, during which time you collect another 4 blue crystals, then attack again at the 2 heart level. Do this until you get the 2 blue spray paints for Joe, then you can start combining him to get a stronger Triceratops DinoZord

I’m missing how to unlock team blue. You need the stuffed trycratops to unlock them, but can only get those by fighter water. But you can’t fight water without team blue. How do I get them?

i’ve been struggling with flea brushes for Goldar Brian for days, even with the building drop. still got 4 to go, hopefully before the end of the weekend i’ll be able to unlock him.
so far each time a new phase drops i end up being a day or 2 out. I hope I manage to make it to the final phase this time and even if I’m still a few days out i’ll be able to get as much done.
im liking this event so far though. slight issue with drops but i’ve been able to keep up with it.. which has been difficult in some the events recently

Okay I went in my couch and I found enough so here’s my two cents: Don’t wait on Blue Ranger this time. By just sticking with defeating Kaiju on a schedule I was able to get Science Exams and Juice Bar Smoothies. Also Herbert drops for Angel Grove Notebook and Goldar Brian drops the Triceratops Power Morphers–both freemium. Only thing is that blasted Water Kaiju but both freemium/premium players alike are stuck with just using the Zord until one of the Blue Rangers unlocks so just work at it now so all the efforts go to the Blue Ranger. Also I have noticed an extremely higher likelyhood of payouts of an item if I go to item in the menu (like click Science Exams after you build Earth Kaiju from Blue Ranger) then odds for at least me seem to pay out the items are more likely. Hope it helps.

When I go to use the Dino Zords, they do not show up when I tap on their…home?
Its just blank, so I can’t progress.
Done all the usual things – force stop, uninstall/reinstall, blah.

Be warned…
I just wasted 12 crystals defeating the Earth Kaiju all the way through the 10 heart level and received zero Science Exams. I opened a ticket with TinyCo, but that’s not an “uncommon” drop.

Firstly you have repaired the Blue a Ranger for unlocking, his drops won’t appear until then. And if you’ve done that, we are finding the drops via the Battles are few and far between. Have you tried getting them by doing the Walk Around Carefully task instead?

Yeah… I unlocked him last night at 9 and tried the battles at 3 this afternoon. Other items for him are dropping.
I have not tried walk around carefully, yet.
TinyCo support said the drops are “normal”, but they’ll forward my results to their team.

There is a major problem with week 3. I can’t get blue spray paint to earn blue Joe unless I attack the water kaiju. I can’t attack the water kaiju if I don’t have blue Joe. There is no way to finish earning Blue Ranger unless I can attack the water kaiju and I will NEVER be able to attack the water kaiju because I won’t earn the spray paint for blue Joe or the materials for Blue Ranger because can only earn that by attacking the water kaiju. They have created an impossible scenario. Also can’t advance in mission from part 3 because can’t earn the plushy without attacking the water kaiju and can’t do that for the reasons above.

You can defeat the Water Kaiju without Joe, you just use the Triceratops DinoZord on its own, at its base energy of 3. You create it in the PowerCon Command Centre as normal, just select the Blue Zord, then hit Combine to pay the 4 Blue Crystals, and then you can attack the Wate Kaiju. You of course will only be able attack the low heart levels, so I’d advise collecting at least 8 blue crystals, this should let you Attack at the 2 & 5 Heart Levels, according to our early info.

I thought the same thing at first. I was dumbfounded. Then I realized you can build without Joe, it will just take a lot longer to defeat. I think we are just too frustrated, that sometimes we get in our own way.

GAHH! I’m such a sucker! 240 Clams for a Bonnie outfit is re-donk-u-lous, but I did it. Yellow Ranger/Saber Tooth Zord was always my fav ranger….and I’ve already committed enough Clams to the event I might as well. “In for a penny, go for the pound”(misqoute). But I kinda hate myself for spending that much on just an outfit.

I’d have spent the clams if it had been a new character but just being a costume pulled me back, so my clams stay in the bank.

I wish they’d rethink their pricing for all items. In your polls here we’ve been seeing a low percentage of people paying the absurd cost for useful-for-a-week characters & costumes. I don’t imagine the ratio changes much when counting all players. Over $9 USD for a worthless costume in two weeks? I personally think something like that should cost about 50 clams… and they’d probably sell about ten times more. (The only character I’m willing to overpay for now is Mickey and they apparently refuse to add his drunken Irish ass.)

like 500k coins for a costume, 1m for character. Buying clams with coins

I didn’t buy Yellow Ranger Connie for that very reason, 240 clams is too much, I’m not saying I’ve not spent it in the past but never this far into an event unless it’s a Stewue costume, I like get all his if I can. We feedback constantly on the clam costs, but it’s up to TinyCo to se the prices, and I guess that depends on the licensing costs etc. but I agree cheaper character costumes and mystery boxes would see happier players and happy players tend to spend more.

I get that it may reflect the licensing fees, but in this case, it’s an advertisement for the new PR movie, which is fine, but they should try at least ONE time to test your ‘happier players’ theory because I totally agree with you – IMHO, costumes at 75 clams and characters at 150 clams would sell like crazy as players would perceive them as the right value…I would, at least…we’ll just keep up the feedback – can’t wait to see the results of this events poll…
