DISCLAIMER (Bunny’s wise words)

As I state each and every Event, these Mystery Boxes are completely optional. It is your choice and your decision to take the risk and chances to see what item(s) you will get from inside.

EVERY Players results will vary. Some good. Some bad.

Just make sure it will be worth it to YOU to spend your precious Clams to take those risks and to be happy with the results,  no matter what they are. It is a gamble after all.

TOP DOG MYSTERY BOX

  1. I’ve got to say this looks like a good mystery box. Plenty of characters. I have all of them save for Human Brian which was premium I think, so I’ll pass (I tried only once with a box which had 4 prices showing for me; 50% of getting sth useful, and I got sth uselss. Gambling is not for me evidently, lol), but comparing to previous boxes this one seems interesting

  2. I already sent in a question to the FGQFS guys, but what am I gonna do with the over 100 doggie bones I have? Nothing to buy! I asked them for a doggie bones mystery box to spend my doggie bones. Thoughts?

  3. I took 3 tries at the mystery box… First I got the Dog Hinden Peter. I was not very happy with that but after a while I realized it ain’t that bad. Then I got the
Trick Or Treating dog which although isn’t a character It does look pretty cute so I’m fine with that too. And the third try I got K9 Dog Joe which was pretty cool because he’s a cool looking character from the first dog event where I wasn’t playing at the time. So overall it was not that bad. This was my first clam mystery box and I am cool with it.

  4. Took a gamble and bought the box. Got Human Brian first then Death’s Dog. I love adding new characters to my town so I consider it a win. The only gripe I have is that I can’t complete Death’s Dog’s mission pt.3 without death (one of my more sought after characters). Hopefully I can get a chance to get him soon.

    • I got that issue too. I know you can ask TinyCo to remove the quest if you want to, but I might as well keep it open should I ever get the Death character.

Did you also find Death’s Mom’s house in your store which triggered a strange request “find death now to achieve a bucket of something” but then nothing happened? I guess this is linked to some old gameplay but strange to have this pop up as normally missing links are deleted when a character is placed in the game after the event.

  5. I usually never partake in the mystery boxes, but I’ve managed to save up a little over 1000 clams. With not having any of the characters, the gambler in me decided to roll the dice with 6 out of 11 prizes being characters. Annnnnddd……..you guessed it – craps. I got the Trick or Treating Dog deco. But as Bunny’s wise words say, “be happy with the results, no matter what they are.”

  6. P.S. the walking decoration “trick or treating dog” is also part of the mystery box.
Sorry for the extra comment, I couldn’t edit my other comment

  7. You forgot about death’s dog. He’s also part of the mystery box as a character.
I really want him but I’m still kind of skeptical about spending money. I’ve spend a good amount of time for this game and I’m willing to buy 600 clams monthly (€20) but I’m not sure if that’s worth it, especially since I’ve got a limited amount of money to spend monthly.

        • I stay away from mystery boxes, won’t waste my clams on them now.its really up to players what they do or don’t spend, I’m a bit Scrooge like with my clans, I gotta to really want something to let any go.
