I hope you all know where your Stuffed Animals & Dollies are as it is about to get a lil bit more KID SCARY IN HERE!!!
Phase 3 is now live in our games, and even MORE HORRORS are to be had. No I am not just talking about Movie Reels!! hack hack hack hack chop chop chop chop kill kill kill kill….
With this New Scary Movie Scene Event, we also get some New Character’s. Characters that once were Decorations in Last Year’s Event even. Characters like Death’s Dog!
Let’s take a look at what Death’s Dog can do in our silly lil games.
Death’s Dog was a New Character added during the 3rd week of Death at the Drive-In 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
Now if you tried to find him in the Event Menu, you would have only seen a Lock symbol over his image and a lil icon telling you to go to the Movie Projection Booth. That is where you will actually start his Process. FIRST, you got to get Death’s Dog’s House into your game.
Death’s Dog’s House is the 4th Prize in the Movie Projection Booth and will require you to first earn 70 
Movie Reels to get it into the game as well as unlock the 3 Prizes in front of it.
Once you had gotten to Death’s Dog’s House and earned the 70 Movie Reels, you then would see the Clam option turn to a Green “GET” in the Movie Projection Screen. Tapping on “GET” had the Movie Projection Booth spit out Death’s Mom’s House. All you had to do now was place it by tapping “AWESOME”.
The Dog House then went into your Inventory Storage for placement. Note: if you have trouble getting it out, use these EXACT tips to get him out of there. Go to your Menu Icon that looks like a Blue Cracker in your game and tap on it. Then Tap on Inventory. Then locate the House in the Event or Buildings Tab and place it into your game.
As soon as you place Death’s Dog’s House. Death’s Dog will appear at his House with a bouncing Lock Icon. Tapping on the icon will show you what you need to collect to earn Death’s Dog.

30 Lassie’s Bones (Common): Swirling Ghosts
10 Bottles of Antifreeze (Uncommon): Pet Costume Shop (Movie Projection Booth)
5 Rubber Steaks (Rare): Black Clam (Movie Projection Booth), Pinhead Solve Puzzle Box (Added 10/19)
Have Death Kick Back (8hrs)
Once you had all of his items collected, you then had an Unlock Icon appear over Death’s Dog’s House. Tapping on it brought him live into your game.
He does come with a Questline, Death’s Best Friend, more on it in another post.
Death’s Dog is also a part of a Clam Character Group, Meet the Deaths. Earning all the Characters in the Group and completing it will earn you an extra 25 Free Clams
.
Death’s Dog does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP. He will also help you earn Pink Hair Ties for Esther.

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event Ends.

Death does come completely voiced. Just for fun, here are a few of his Phrases…

***growl***
“Uh Hey, did someone choke on a roll in here?”
“Ugh”
And there you have it, the complete breakdown for that cute lil Dead Puppy we only had as a Decoration last Halloween, and is now a fully tasked Character in this Event!

If I spend 25 clams to skip collecting the meat for deaths dog, will I still need to get the black clam or can I skip that prize and save those reels for the next phase instead?

You are just skipping the Rubber Steaks, and to move on you must collect the items minus the last one on each page. Sorry.

You don’t have him as a Character & Building. It was ONLY a decoration. Nothing more. 😉

Why can I. To place death dog and dog house? I have unlocked it but can’t place it? Game still thinks it’s locked for some reason.

Mine says its locked in the inventory. Do you know how to get him? Ive unlocked him at the drive-in already but it says its locked when I go into the inventory

Are you going to Inventory? Or the Shopping Cart Menu where you buy items? The ONLY place that shows Locks is where you buy them, not Inventory.

Working on the Pirate Ship now…loved how Tiny Co basically gave us 3 openings of the Mystery Box…that was AWESOME! I just wanted to double check though…is the Dog House timed like Lois and Slasher Cat were?

I’m so glad I’m not the only one still on phase sb lois. Ugh. If I don’t get deaths dog I’ll cry. So glad he’s a character. Kinda wish I could have gotten more than one trick or treat dog too.. ( crazy dog person… Can you tell?)

Ah sorry I just posted the comment about Death dog house getting stuck and then read the instructions in the article that fixed it… I really need to learn to read more carefully before I bug you guys… sorry!

I just bought Deaths dogs house but it is stuck in my inventory. Is this a known issue? Are there any fixes? I wrote to tiny co in the In game contact feature but they always take days to reply and then it’s just some automated response that doesn’t answer my question

I have SB Lois and am just closing down the third Die Horribly for Patty, so I am really looking forward to moving on to Phase 3 afterward as I have substantially less werewolves than before.
That being said, I am getting close to the Pirate ship before Death’s Dog, but it is slow.

I’m really glad I got Death. I also REALLY want Death’s Dog, but I’m still stuck getting reels to unlock Slasher Bait Lois’ skin.. I’m really behind. =(

Once you get Lois, you will be surprised at how quickly you will progress from there! It is like phase 1 was good, phase 2 was horrific, and phase 3 is making up for lost time! *chuckle*
