Do I Want That? Deidrie Jackson

So you think you’re as rich at Carter Pewterschmidt? Own a fancy house like Buzz Killington? You sure gotta lot of clams there, whatcha gonna do with them?

Now hold on there a minute. Are you SURE you want that? With all these cool Rocky Times in Quahog  limited time event items in the game, it is very easy to get carried away. Before you know it, Clamshell Shock! All gone!

So before you go ahead and buy Deirdre Jackson with your hard-earned Clams, here’s a few things you might want to know about her.

Character: Yes, this is a Full Character
Clam Price: 250 Clam IconClams
Unique: Yes

  • A New Full Character
  • Tasks to Clear Lightweight Boxers, Middleweight Boxers & Heavyweight Boxers
  • 2  permanent Animated Tasks
  • Fully tasked with Questline
  • 3 temporary Event Animated Tasks
  • Has appeared in the Family Guy TV Show
  • Part of the Boxing Baddies FaceSpace Set, along with Clubber Lang & Ivan Drago, which is worth 15 Clams if you complete it.

  • Frakkin 250 CLAMS!!!
  • Won’t be useful after the Event

I wanted to give you an overall idea of how she COULD benefit your game play. And it’s simple you can use Deirdre Jackson to clear Lightweight Boxers, Middleweight Boxers and essentially this Phases Heavyweight Boxers, thus  letting you build up the essential resources they drop quicker, if you’re behind or short of time this final  Phase she will give you a real helping hand to reach the end of the event, and will be especially helpful with Heavyweight Boxers as you otherwise can’t Clear them until you’ve  unlocked Boxer Lois. How much of a help of course depends on the drops but those Grilled Chicken are needed for fighting at the Quahog Boxing Stadium and there’s also the extra chances you have of getting Vodka for attacking Ivan Drago.

So basically she has 3 uses, as she can clear all 3 types of Boxer, but how you use her will depend on what resources you want. You may choose to mix and match her tasks. But if you are solely interested in those new Heavyweight Boxers, then, the task is 8hrs so she will let you clear 3 Heavyweight Boxers every 24hrs. For Middleweight Boxers the task is 6hrs long, so there’s a chance to clear 4 more every 24hrs, and for the Lightweight Boxers, her 3 hour task will let you clear up to 8 more every 24hrs. So that’s the main gameplay benefit of this buy.

The only other way to get the Grilled Chicken that is dropped by Heavyweight Boxers is to buy it from the Store.

Final Thought:

Personally, I passed on her, as I’m going to see out this event freemium. But if I were going buy any of the premiums this would have been the one, as she is a character from the Family Guy TV Show. But I am fairly certain I can unlock Boxer Lois within a few days and that along with the extra ways to get Vodka introduced in Phase 3 will give me a fighting chance of getting Ivan Drago without the need to spend any clams on her. And to be honest it’s been ok playing this one freemium, I enjoy the freemium madness at times, yes it’s been tougher but none of the content screamed out at mem so missing out on any of the characters or costumes wouldn’t have bothered me much. So never a better time to be freemium.

With it being part of a Limited Time Event, just make sure you make up your mind as once the event is over it is most likely they will be gone. In the end it’s your call.  What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think.  But don’t purchase it until YOU are sure. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

  1. In my opinion, this was the only useful purchase of value offered… that being said, I ain’t gonna bite… Sorry tiny co, no clams spent for this. I know others appreciated them but these last 2 events (although I played continually) I could give a stitch about so as a premium player, I spent a big fat 0.00. I do appreciate that there was no weekly challenge for decorations I stick in inventory……… now if the weekly challenge was a very useful character… or even a character at all, I would be all over that!
