Rocky Times in Quahog 101: Mighty Mick’s Training Gym – Speed Training

Hey there Addicts, it’s time to flex your pecs and pound some punchbags.

Yes, just when you thought you were on downtime, TinyCo have given you more work to do, and this time it’s gym work, as we head to Mighty Mick’s Training Gym. But don’t sweat, as we’re here to walk you through your workout.

WHAT THE HECK IS SPEED TRAINING AND WHEN WILL IT APPEAR IN MY GAME?

You will be able to start Speed Training at Mighty Mick’s Training Gym once you trigger Pt. 2 of the phase 3 main Questline A Fighting Chance, this is when the Side Questline, Feeling Punchier will trigger.

WHAT DO I NEED TO ACCURACY TRAIN?

In order to Speed Train at Mighty Mick’s Training Gym you will need 4 Gym Passes. You can get these from:

Gym Passes (Uncommon): Mort Abuse Free Gym Trials OR Rocky Tenderize Meat OR Jerome Work Out OR Spar at Boxing Ring OR Fight at Quahog City Music Hall OR Total Knockout Mystery Box OR Clam Purchase from Shopping Cart

WHERE DO I GO TO SPEED TRAIN?

This is pretty simple, you just head over to Mighty Mick’s Training Gym and tap it.

HOW DO I SPEED TRAIN?

Tap on Mighty Mick’s Training Gym to bring up the Boxing Training screen. You now want to tap on the box on the right that says Speed Training.

This will select this mode, you will see a yellow outline round the punching bag box, and you can now tap Let’s Go.

You will then see the Speed Training mini-game screen, it will show you the time you will have to train, 30 seconds, and the cost to train, 4 Gym Passes.

If you’ve got 4 Gym Passes simply tap Fight to start the Speed Training game.

And now you’re ready to Accuracy Train, basically you will see targets appear on the punch bag like last time, but this time they are numbered and you must tap them in numerical order, ie 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and so on, as fast as you can, when you tap all targets in the correct order on a bag you will get another until your 30 seconds is up.

You’ll know you’re hitting the targets in the correct sequence, as the target will disappear and become a green tick.

If you tap a number out of sequence you will see a Red Cross and that punchbag won’t count.

And that’s all you need to do until the 30 seconds are over, then you will see your rewards.

WHAT REWARDS DO I GET?

This depends on how many punch bags you clear.

Per Boxing Bag Cleared:
 3 Barbells (Always)

So clear 1 punch bag and you get 3 Barbells, clear 2 punch bags you get 6 Barbells, clear 3 punch bags and get 9 Barbells and so on.

There you have it, all the facts about the Speed Training in Mighty Mick’s Training Gym . What are your thoughts? Have you started to train yet? If so, are you enjoying this addition to our games? Any other tips for fellow Players? Let us know.

  1. is getting the Cleveland costume even possible? I mean I can get 18 here but even with the guys getting 21, they have to fight 33 times. over 120 tickets. plus whatever you used for chris and lois.

  2. I am finding a delay. I lose 3-5 seconds!

  3. Saving gym passes gave me lots of chance to play this one. Managed to get 8 just now and I think 9 is possible with a lot of luck.

  4. A) How in the H-E-double hockey-sticks did you get that many gym passes?!?!
    B) how much practice did it take to get 18 barbells in Speed training? I am sticking with Accuracy, I can reliably get 18 where in Speed I can only seem to get 12-15.

I’ve been saving gym passes since I got the Barbells needed for Blunderlips Chris in Phase 2, hence built up, and I’ve managed a 7 in speed training just there, getting faster, lol.

  5. Given that it is the same cost as accuracy training (4 gym passes), I am only doing this one anymore as I generally get 18 barbells (6 bags), where the most bags I got on accuracy was 7, or 14 barbells. That’s an extra 4 right there, and I have managed to get 7 bags (21 barbells) a few times too.
