Remember this event was scheduled to end later today, 29th November 2017 @ 3pm PST (that’s GMT-7). However as many of you know there was an issue that saw the event end prematurely in many games, if you were impacted you probably saw the following message pop up in your game:
We’re sorry, a technical glitch forced the ‘Fear and Loathing in Quahog’ event to end for some customers a day early.”
You might also have been awarded some clams. However TinyCo promised they would make good on things, and they have with a mystery box full of event characters & costumes, it costs 
To try and should let you win some of the content you missed out on.

A mystery box with missed content? Gee, how nice. It would have been a kind gesture for the “Fast Times at Quahog High” event when a glitch in claiming Pulaski caused the game to keep crashing, and I couldn’t play the last 30 hours of the event. These glitches have screwed me out of at least three characters and a couple of costumes this year.
That said, I take great delight in the fact that I did not run into the glitch on the Vegas event, and in fact, since I never reloaded the game past the scheduled end time, I was able to keep collecting tokens and capes and such. I left the computer on when I went to bed, got up a half an hour earlier to play a bit before I went to work, and I DID get Liberace–ELEVEN hours AFTER the event ENDED! I’ve still been cheated out of more than I’ve gained, so it’s only fair that provided I don’t reload, I can keep playing an event until the page times out or I log out. I should AT LEAST get Liberace after being screwed out of Johnny Lawrence, Johnny (Vaudeville Guy’s partner), and Cameron Frye, as well as Burlesque Peter and Forklift Peter.

Hey guy my Event ended early and i had unused token for three costumes but i didnt have the 10$ Mystery Box Option. Where should i find it and how to get help if the option is missing?

It should have appeared in your store – but only covered the event characters/costumes, not those you won by getting the special cards from betting on green. You can message TinyCo if you missed out on event content.

The mystery box should be in your shopping cart. It is the one that has Peter’s face. It doesn’t look like the typical mystery box. It took me forever to find it.

I am quite confused as to how some people were able to get multiple characters and clams from the mystery box. I was able to buy one box, got one character, and then the box option disappeared. Is there an explanation? Sorry for all of the questions, I’m still fairly new to this game. Thank you.

I think it might have been an oops, they shouldn’t got the premium characters, but if you did you hit it lucky.

I was shocked by that, I kept hitting ‘buy’ for 10 coins, and I soon had all the costumes and characters that I had not earned, I thought at first that was very generous of TinyCo, then I thought, ha, this event was horrible to me so maybe they really were trying to make it up to people…now I realize it was probably just an ‘oops’…but, I’m OK with that, this event was really bad for me, probably the worst since I started playing…

What happened to me is when they offered you the chance to buy some characters with clams up until a certain time on the 27th, when I purchased Fat Lois with about 25-30 minutes to go, Forklift Peter disappeared. There was still time to buy him, so he should have been kept available until then.
I’d accumulated clams playing on my phone by watching the maximum number of ads every day for a week, and I even completed an offer (I already had the app and never used it, so just by launching it, I was given the clams). I got Buzz Killington for 125, and that completed a set, so I got 100 back, and that left me enough to get Opie. I really wanted Opie when they did Septemberfest in 2015, since I had Angela, but I’d only been playing for five or six weeks, and just didn’t have all the characters and things I needed unlocked to help me get him then. So, I got Opie for 200, then with the ads and offer, i built my clam count back up to get Fat Lois and Forklift Peter at 120 apiece, and like I said, after I got Lois, Peter just disappeared from the shopping cart. I checked Al Harrington’s, and he wasn’t there, either. I e-mailed support, and they haven’t replied. Usually they do get back to me, but not on this one.

Ya the event ended a day early in my game, but had already finished the event the day before that. Lol However I ended up getting stewie and joes costumes and Teller. So I eneded up getting every character and costume plus 50 clams. Thats a win in my book.

i ended up getting the rest of the characters from that Fear & Loathing end glitch lmao $10 a try on that mystery box was alright. got Penn, cirq stewie, Joe’s costume(that costed clams?) so really i got all characters and skins that were freemium and premium for free.

I had the glitch when I was attempting to unlock Penn. I like the resolution and I got two Characters (Penn and Teller) and one Costume (Show girl Brian) from the box. 😀

Glad I got Teller as Penn was feeling lonely without him.
I was hoping to have the last day to get more chances to win on green for the platinum wheel but more than happy with the resolution.

I wanted Teller, but I didn’t want to try to get him out of the chance box. I am soooo happy he was in the glitch box.
Also, it should be said that the $10, is in game coins, not actual money.

The only annoyance is that I could’ve used the final day to spin for the special characters (i.e. winning on green). But I ended up with one extra character and one costume than I would’ve otherwise as I hadn’t even started Week 3. So overall, I’m content with the resolution.

I was not impacted by the glitch. Ironically I barely got Jenn and gave up on Week 3, so did not miss out on anything even if it ended earlier. Feel very much for those who were close to completing it for the new character but missed out because of the glitch. I know that we usually have to grind until last day last hour due to the game difficulty.

I’m not seeing this mystery box. $10 or 10 clams? I certainly won’t be paying them $ for glitching out on my game twice on that unpleasant event.

Did the event end early in your game? You’ll only see the mystery box if it did, and the cost to try it is in game currency not actual money!

You’ll only see it if the event was removed from your game early, not everyone had the issue. If you had the issue you should see the mystery box in your store

Three skins and a full character. A good start, for this event. Wished they thought of this for previous ‘glitches’. I will hold further comments for future events. This new problem resolution may be just a ‘glitch’ in itself.
