Yes TinyCo/Jam City appear to have extended the end date for the event. However it’s just for 24 hours, so you’ve only a bit more time to collect those final things before the event now ends on 3rd January @ 3pm PST.

I am glad they extended the event, it gave me a chance to work on getting the last three bowls needed for Tiny Tim Stewie. However, I stiil needed one more close to cut off time, so I spent the 55 claims needed and received the 30 clams back for completing the set. This would not be the case if the event ended on the normal time.

Interesting that all the new characters in this event are from A Christmas Carol or they made them up. It is public domain (no copyright) so costs them nothing in licencing fees.

Would have been nice to have a heads up before I spent a ton of clams to make up for the empty bowls that were so elusive. Thank you for all of your hard work RT I’m just frustrated with this games flaws and utter lack of communication with players from TinyCo.

WTD TinyCo! Why not tell us beforehand?!! I ended up buying tonnes of extra buildings and decorations as I had no chance of unlocking the costume. Now I only have 560 / 3210 medicine instead of 6000+ I had yesterday. Ughhhhhhhhhhh WTD!!!!

Funnily enough I managed to get just enough medicine… but of course with 3 bowls to get in 24 hours it wasn’t enough time with their ridiculously bad drop rate. I’m ashamed to admit I spent 9 clams speeding up the tasks, but I still only got 1 bowl out of it. The buy out was still 110 clams, and there’s no way a forgettable character is worth that to me

i saw the timer and i didn’t trust it .. i thought they made a mistake .. and Meg (MEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) dropped a food bowl at 12:30 am my time (just 30 minutes before the event shoud end) making it 8/9 so I simply bought Tiny Tim Stewie for 55 clams (got 35 back .. so basically i only spent 20 clams on him) .. now im just trying to get one of those bonus buildings ..

Well, I finally did finish the entire event freemium, including Tiny Tim Stewie and Part 7 — with thousands of Mulled Wine to spare on Wednesday. Glad I didn’t buy any of the things that gave out the Mulled Wine. Would have been a total waste of clams. Overall, really good event. I finished early.

Wasted 110 clams to get Tiny Tim Stewie, wish Tiny Co. would give some notice when they are going to extend. May have gotten Stewie for free. Also spent a lot of wine on small things when I could have tried for a larger building. Nice event but somehow Tiny Co blows it at the end.

Damn, should have checked here sooner. Just spent clams for tiny Tim Stewie since the empty food bowls weren’t dropping. Tinyco could’ve given us a heads up with an in-game pop up to let us know about the extension, but oh well.

Nice, now I can get that last empty food bowl I need for Stewie without spending any clams. Gave up on finishing the Main quest line and earning other buildings, as they all go into inventory once the event is over.

Whoops, that means I just wasted about 30 free clams, speeding things up in anticipation of it ending today. I only have about 5000 left, ohhh nooo!

I find that the challenge is not using clams, never bought a premium event item (just clam generators).
Just got the 35 clams by getting tiny tim stewie completing the set. Got him 4 hours after the event wa supposed to end. Pretty bad considering I have been home with the flu, not sleeping well and checking in every 3 hours .
Was there a pop up in game or any other notice of the extension besides you, RT? If not WTFD!

I just saw that. Hopefully it helps with getting Stewie, I’ve got 6/9 so far. I spent way too many clams trying to get a lucky drop. It would have been better to just spend the 55 clam for one.

Happy New Year RT – my game is currently offering a sale on clam sets: 20% off and I was wondering if you can verify how long the sale will be available? I’m trying not to use clams for TT Stewie but I might just purchase clams to get him as a last resort (if I can find out when the sale ends)
