Maybe it’s because quagmire isn’t at level 7 yet? You need the newest version of quagmire to do the event, yes?

The event hasn’t even started for me yet. Do I have to be a certain level or have certain characters to start? I did reset a few weeks back, so … Anyway, when is this event supposed to start? My game did just update but I still have to event unless it hasn’t started yet?

By reset do you mean started the game over? If so to see events you usually need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.

Been on it since day one having fun restored after the way too short 5th anniversary event. B.B. guns are not dropping. Have not gotten one in two days, checking in often. Stuck at Hot n Cold part 4 needing only 9 reels for quagmire. Gig. It. Tee.
Looks like the event is over for me today. One character NOT dropping so often is a brilliant plan. I NEVER got one rope drop two events or so ago. Not one. I’m going to start playing the lottery since the odds of winning there are astronomically higher than one character dropping a B.B. gun here! GG to all those progressing.

I was at 398 of the 400 required bottles for Hot and Cold pt. 6 and decided to unlock the final item with 1 clam (Winter Summer Reunion banner). Little did I realize this would reset my bottle count for Pt 6 and now its making me collect another 400 bottles.. Oof.

I’m really surprised at how often I use a banana peel on one of the drivers and get nothing. This is the first event where that’s ever happened to me.

Both drop items are chance so you’ll see this quite often I’m afraid.

And once you collect the two items they drop, they stop altogether! 🤨They don’t even drop event currency that I’ve noticed. I’m still collecting Banana Peels, but letting them build up, in case they become useful again.

But the problem is that while concentrating on the event you can’t focus on helping Tom Tucker too… Also adding even Mayor West. My friend has the same problem but looks like she either tries to get Tom Tucker and Mayor West asap so she can have some days left to at least see what the 2nd week is like or entirely give up on the event as it takes too long and character tasks to get through the questline with the missing people… This time I feel they’re giving a huge punch to the newer gamers…

That’s the double edged sword for TinyCo, long time players have been asking for them to use more characters in events, unfortunately this is what happens when they do. It’s happened in previous events that required you to have Brian or Stewie unlocked. You can message support and see if they can do anything to help you progress the Questline.

I struggle to understand why Tiny think that it is fun to wait at least 12 hours to complete one part of one part of a quest line because there is only one character allocated to the task. Instead of encouraging me to spend real money to speed the process up, this blatant approach of making events impossible to complete with purchased crap just makes me more determined to resist. I did use to spend money on this game, either to squeeze over the line or for a character I particularly liked, but not any more. I play at least 3 times a day, nearly every day, but have not come even close to completing most events – in fact I rarely even see what the last week involves!

To be honest you probably need check in more than 3 times have any chance to complete things, even spending money.

Playing 3 times a day just isn’t enough. Depending from the lenght of the tasks (2, 3, 4, 6, 8,… hours) I log in at least 8 to 10 times a day. And when necessary I usually end the tasks with 1 clam when the task has less than 45 minutes left. This way I normally complete all the events and get all the freemium characters. I’ve been playing close to 4 years, have over 240 characters and never spent real money. Just keep on logging in whenever you can. 👍

Why log in 8 to 10 times when the shortest task is usually 4 hours? 2 hour tasks are in not common. I log in 4 to 5 times a day and usually finish most event phases 1 or 2 days early

I was speaking in general, like I said it depends from the lenght of the tasks. Normally with four hour tasks I log in five times a day: 7am, 11 am, 3pm, 7pm and 11 pm. But six hour tasks require one extra log in at 1pm. Two and three hour tasks require more log ins. And if I’m speeding up some tasks then those require even more log ins.

Maybe if you are still completing the district’s it may pay to check in more often. Been so long I don’t remember but I am sorry I rushed through the districts as I miss them. Did not think there would be no new ones
