Hi fellow addicts – looks like we’ve got an unexpected xtension from our game overlords.
Yes TinyCo/Jam City have extended the end date for the event. However it’s just for 24 hours, so you’ve only a bit more time to collect those final things before the event now ends on 8th August @ 3pm PDT.

Did a new game start for anyone?
I got the ending warning pop-up and then nothing but the regular with no theme.
I have no updates in my Play store either.
It’s the morning of the 9th now.

I actually spent a bunch of clams to speed up tasks to get the drops I needed in the last hour only to find out later in the evening they extended the deadline. Not that I’m surprised. Communication from this game is sparse at best generally more like abissmal..

Yeah, it would be nice to get a bit of lead-time before an extension. I’m thinking of the people who may have spent clams speeding up tasks to make the end time. Minor complaint, but…just saying it’d be nice.

Hate that there’s no warning given. I didn’t bother to wait to try to get more bibles because I wouldn’t have time till the end. Not bothering to play till tonight if it switches to something new.

Damn, wish I saw this yesterday. Probably could’ve finished the event. I was wondering why no new event had started. I didn’t want to send my characters on tasks if a new event was coming. Wish they did an ingame pop up like they’ve done for other reasons.

i was happy to quit the event thinking lois was unattainable with the time that was left, then woke up this morning and the spotted the event had been extended. without trying I got the last few items and now have unlocked convict lois.
i had no notification from TC/JC to say this was happening/had happened and only realised when I cleared a task and it dropped an item.
i wonder though how many ppl gave up thinking the same when if theyd have been made aware they could have carried on

I’ll raise my hand to that! Kinda gave up yesterdayike 3 hours before event was scheduled to end….. Only to find out this morning it was extended! So still didn’t bother playing as it was not obtainable either at that point. Just logged in now…. Almost an hour after event was “suppoossed” end (again) and it’s still going! SMH.
