Well we’ve all made it through another week of lockdown and the indoor weekend is here!
All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game and we wanted to give you (and us) a way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest. And whilst Covid-19 is about I also want this to be somewhere you can take your lockdown frustrations.
So welcome to the new, temporary WHAT THE DEUCE & LOCKDOWN BLUES?!
Just be respectful of others & be mindful of the language while commenting. Censor yourselves so we don’t have to!!
Not sure if this is the right spot for this (back when Bunny hosted this, there was just one What the Deuce, so I apologise if I’ve lost my spot here…), but do we know if Jam City plans on releasing any more land at any point in the future?
I long ago ran out of space, but they keep adding new buildings with each event. I don’t recall exactly, but I feel it was a couple of years ago since the last release of land.
Thoughts?

What the deuce was always a weekly post even when Bunny was here. However to your question, I’ve asked them recently about more land and was told they’ll look into it

I just continue to be frustrated about the game crashing all the time. I have the newest iPhone, up-to-date on all of my software and the game crashes about 75% of the time I’m using it. It crashes after I send a couple hundred people on go for the gold quests, it crashes after I use the coin vacuum, crashes all the time. 😡

You might try enabling the low memory graphics option. I had severe crash problems with an older iphone (6) and a ipad (2018 version) and this helped.
Go to Settings, Settings, and check “Use Low-Memory Graphics.” I have seen some anomalies with this setting (when you place a building, it may look 2x normal size) but crashes went from 100% unplayable to just annoying.
Another thing that helps is to force close all apps, then clear memory. To clear memory, hold the power button until the “slide to power off” slider appears. Then hold the home button for about 7 seconds. This sometimes helps with crashes and slow response.
And sometimes, it just helps to shut the phone/ipad completely down and restart. Again, I force close all apps before doing this.
I still have some times when there’s a several minute lag from tapping the Quahog Historical Society 250 times and when the game unfreezes, but these procedures have helped a lot.
