I am setting the characters tasks to complete challenges but I am not getting the rewards.
For example I have to complete Navy quagmire but I am not getting the rewards from getting seamus singing & the yacht club.
I have set seams to sing about 10 times, it’s the same with Lois.

I have encountered a download error when trying to enter my game. I have hard closed the app and tried to reopen but experience the same error. It says config empty for id block32 in FGExpansionMapData…anyone else get this?

Seems like there was a lil hiccup in the game for a bit there. Looks like it resolved itself for most. Try again to go back into the game and let us know if it is working now.

It might be an error with the files loading properly in your game. Have you tried hard closing the app and restarting?

A friend accidentally started the family guy game on my facebook account because we share a phone… so now i can’t start my own game on my facebook. How can i delete their game so i can put mine on there??

Unfortunately, you can’t unlink a game from a Facebook account. Once it’s attached it it, that’s the game it will associate with. That being said you can use alternate ways to save your game, or create another Facebook account just for FG.

Hey I just figured out how to get the flower bush, its the bush that was there at the start but uf you did what I did and deleted it or at least thought it was deleted to get it back its the square to the far right on the left hand side it has 9 little squarea on it click on that and then click on inventory and it will be stored in there. Inventory is not what you see when you click on shopping basket. Hope this helps

Is there a way to stop an action once a character has started it(similar to storing a building in Tapped Out)? I started the 24 hour Chris eating sugar task because I thought that was the next task in the clown quest and now I’ll lose 24 hours of clown tapping because of it.

No, unfortunately not. We’ve made that suggestion to them, but at this point there’s no method in the game (beyond spending clams) to pull a character out of a task. Hopefully in the future there will be.

You checked the Buildings and Event section of your Inventory? Did you also try just tapping on Quagmire’s house to see if you put it into play already and just need to change the house skin?

I’ve got two questions about TQFS; the first being about the properties and what you earn from them after each cycle, the reference page you have made on this site is accurate but why do they list it the way they do in the game? ie. the “typical office” in the game shows xp 5/hr and $ 7/hr when in fact it takes 4hrs for it to go through its cycle and gives you 20xp and $30, it’s confusing to me. Lastly has anyone noticed that when certain characters complete a task and you tap to collect, money only pops out and none of the xp it shows they should earn also?

I agree on how it’s listed in the game. It’s very confusing, and took us a bit of time to properly compose the list you see.
And the cash only is just a image glitch. You still gain xp (you’ll notice the bars still increase) even if you don’t see it pop out. Happens to me every so often. 🙂

I have contacted them about 4 times and each time they responded right back. I suggested all the characters have shorter task times ( which they have changed, but I wish they all had a 30 min one), a confirm button and I think the x and check mark need to be switched. After playing TSTO for so long I keep hitting the wrong button. They also reimbursed me the clams when I accidentally bought another jewelry store..I am real impressed with them.

I play on both iPad & iPhone and I don’t have to log out on one to play on the other. I do hope they will have an easier way to log on & off in the future because when my grandson is here and logs on to his game afterwards I do have to go thru the steps of a new town to get to mine.
Also any word on a new way to get friends besides Facebook yet?

Hi All, 2 Questions and a Suggestion
1) Please what are the Exact steps needed to play on Multiple Devices. I’ve been wiped out once already and lost everything including clams and don’t want to repeat that move again. In my Settings screen it says “Loged in as my name ”
2) Since the new sale i cant find McBurger town as a building, did this happen to anyone else
Suggestion, Hi Bunny,, using the Forum for all these subjects ” and the many more to follow would allow for better organization of topics , would it not ? Like my first question may have already been answered here but I’ve searched the lump of all topics in scattered threads and may have missed it.

Thanks for the feedback. If you have concern over switching out accounts and/or lost one before please let TinyCo know. They are great at helping out on matters such as that and you can contact them right from your game.
As for the info…
For me, I installed the game on a second device and played the intro up to the point the Menu features were unlocked. Then at that point, I went into the Menu, Account Info, and logged into my existing account using the email and password I had set up. Just make sure you use the exact same method on both devices. So if you log in using Facebook, use that again.

I know they changed the ability to have mass franchises of this anymore. Did you have more than one? Or did the just one you had disappear?

We have attempted a forum on this site as well as our other “Addicts” site. They were ghost towns. It seemed more people just came to the main page. So instead we added a “Search” feature to allow people to look for keywords and phrases. Now that this site is not so new and has more and more growing content, we will look at enabling the 2nd “Search” feature to the Main Menu that allows for more in depth searches that give results similar to a Google search…only it is only posts and info on OUR site. (It’s cool due to you can search YOUR name too and locate old comments.) Keep an eye out in the Menu up top and you will see when we enable it.
Overall, we seriously do not mind answering questions. We are here to help. This is what we do and what we enjoy. Please don’t ever feel silly asking us if you are unable to locate or find information. Even in forums, things may be lost or buried. We understand this. So if I have to answer the same question many times, so be it. I do not mind. Not at all. I usually answer and redirect if there is a post related to the issue. 😉

Try both ways. Try while logged in to the other. Then try logged out. It varies for each player.
Going forward…no extras allowed. You can keep what you had, just can’t buy more.
I know it’s Sunday and not much open, try them again tomorrow if it’s been a while.

I was working on unlocking several outfits that require eyeshadow. I had 5 eyeshadows last night, but when I woke up this morning there are NONE. Any ideas about what happened?

I have not seen this particular glitch. I know this weekend was the special to get the Cosmetics more often, but haven’t seen anything on them completely missing. Have you tried some basic troubleshooting? Like force stopping the app or logging out, restart device, log back in?
If it doesn’t resolve, please use your Menu, Help & Settings, and contact TinyCo for further help. In the meantime I will keep an eye out to see if more reports of this come in.

I just did what your recommended and BAM, I lost the Vasoline that I collected for the outfits. I’m just glad that’s an easy commodity to come by. I am still out of the eyeshadow as well. Thank you for the advice though, and the quick response.

What happened right before the eyeshadow disappeared?
What characters or skins did you recently unlock?
If you got anymore, did they all disappear too? Or just a few?

I play on I pad and lost all my friends Ollie is only one there and even when i go to add more friends it say i have none to invite.thought this was gonna be a fun game to play but right off the bat it starts costing way to much coin and not being able to visit friends and get more is taking longer then it should some quests are taking way to long and start to lose interest in playing luv the cartoon on fox but so far i rate this game a 1

Sorry to hear you are running into some issues. Have you tried contacting them on the matter yet? They are great at resolving issues within the game and do all they can to make the experience better. Please let them know if you are experiencing a glitch so they can get it resolved for you as soon as possible.
The game is still so new. Bugs will happen. I have seen it with pretty much every game app launch out there. I have to say I am impressed with TinyCo though and their willingness to help the players. Just contact them via Your Menu, Help & Settings, within your game. Let me know how it goes. 🙂

I play on my iPad and I’ve had this issue of the music and sound effects not being there. I go into the settings and they are both set to on. The only way I can get it back is to restart my iPad but after awhile it turns itself off again. I know the volume is up on the iPad because I’ll come from the Simpsons game or watching wwe network and can hear everything just fine. Has anyone else had this issue?

I’ve seen it off and on. Not sure if it’s something in your device not accepting the game settings.
My best suggestion is contact TinyCo through your game menu, help and support and let them know. So in case it’s something they can help change for those devices.

I’ve had the same thing on occasion. I did not have to restart, I could get sound back by dragging down from the top of the screen to display your calander/todo list overlay, drag it back up, and sound is magically back.

While you are working away at tasks in District 6 and the Civic Center, you will unlock Joe and his Cop Uniform too.
(Cop Uniform and Police Station Dialog coming soon/Wheels of the Law & Cop Joe)
Once you have Joe’s Cop Uniform, shortly after you will be prompted to start the Wheels of the Law & Cop Joe walkthrough. One of the tasks in this is to Fix Police Station. You will have it then. Hope that helps. 😉

Is there a way to clear out that quest that we got back on day 1; the one where if you purchase clams you get bonus clams…I have no intention of buying them but I don’t want it to stay on my quest log forever.

Anyone else have too many items being created? Usually once the correct number of items are created, that item stops being created. But I have Mermaid Peter with 11/7 and Goth Chris with 11/5 Hairspray, and the tasks to create them still say “Chance”, instead of just items that I really need. I think the hairspray is lowering my odds of getting the other items that I need.

I had that too. It is just until you actually clear out the task that it will keep generating the items (as the system still thinks you need them too until it is done). It isn’t a bad thing per say. It didn’t effect any of my other item tasks.

My understanding is that it keeps gathering the item until you have enough for “everyone” who needs that item… For example… Goth Chris needs 5 Makeups and Speedo Quagmire needs 6 Makeups… so you’ll keep gathering them until you have 11.

I think it is a bad thing. It doesn’t really matter that there are extras, but the source of those items is still creating them instead of other items that may be needed. So in my example, Quahog Day Spa is still creating Hairspray (via “chance”), but I really need it to be creating Eyeshadow. I have not had an Eyeshadow from the Day Spa since this started happening, just Hairspray after Hairspray. And since Goth Chris needs Eyeshadow, but keeps getting Hairspray, I don’t know that this will ever end, unless something creates Eyeshadow but not Hairspray creates it. (And the other Mermaid Peter items get created, possibly).

I can see how it may impact some. But for me, I still had multiple options of what characters task I got to choose to get the same item. Sometimes those buildings and/or characters items are rare or really rare, so it still took a while to get them regardless if other items came from that building/character too. This is a great tool to use. 😉
My best suggestion…TinyCo is amazing at listening to all of our lil issues we run into with the game. They love the feedback so if change is needed they can make it. So they can see what you are going through, use your menu in your game, help and support, and contact TinyCo that way. Explain to them what you just did to me. See what kind of feedback you get. If there is an issue with leveling up and game interference, they will definitely want to know about it and help to make it better experience for ALL players. 😉

I am having issues with a few characters and building task animations. Specifically Lois and her Jui jitsu task and the building that Buzz Killington uses. Instead of the characters and buildings doing the specified animations all I get is black blocks. How do I fix this? Is anyone else getting this issue?

Yea it’s actually…and unfortunately..pretty common. It just means the character in that moment (task/animation) didn’t fully load. Try closing down your game, hard closing the app and restarting it. That has worked for me in the past. 🙂

You can make roads. If you hold onto an object it will give you the option to move it, You know? Well in the upper left corner is a option to either place a road or destroy a road

I am unable to even open the app. It crashes in the load screen, even after force-closing and hard-resetting my iphone. I had linked my game to my facebook profile, and had several real-life friends whose Quahogs I visited and vice versa. Do I need to uninstall and re-install the app, and if I do, does the link to my facebook profile mean that my progress will be saved??

Yes, as long as you did the signin via Facebook it should save your progress that way.
Try the uninstall and reinstall. If you have a problem getting your town back after the reinstall contact TinyCo directly at help@tinyco.com.
Also, keep in mind when you reinstall it you will get the intro video again, followed by the first part of the game. You will need to play through until you see the menu box appear (the 9 dark blue squares inside 1 blue box). Once that appears you can login to your game.

Best thing you can do is email tinyco directly at help@tinyco.com. Unfortunately, that’s an issue that they’ll have to address. Send them an email, they’re really good about getting back to you with issues like this.

They’ve actually address it under trouble shooting.
They say if your playing it on an iPhone to go to iPhone Settings> Facebook> Your name> Delete account.
You then just sign back in. and then go back to game and click facebook connection option.
It worked for me.

To start with, try the basic troubleshooting: Turning your internet off, hard closing the app etc. and if that doesn’t work, it may be best to contact Tinyco to let them know that it is happening 🙂

I’ve experienced the same thing myself (with various characters). It’s almost like a texture glitch. I believe it means that that portion of the image hasn’t fully loaded when you started the game up. If it’s annoying you you can hard close the app and restart it, that should eliminate it. 🙂

Sometimes when I do a quest for something to complete an outfit, it doesn’t give me that “object” after I complete it and I have to redo it. And even then I still don’t always get it?

Depending on the item. Some items are more rare than others, therefore harder to get. You can check out our materials page for the details on exactly what chance you have of getting which object.

So I accidentally placed a street segment. I can’t seem to move or erase it. I’m playing on iPad and my wife is having the same issue on her samsung galaxy 4. We can move the buildings just not the street segments.

Two questions in regards to friends in family Guy multi universe. First I already had a fb friend who was playing and she was already on my neighbors but now all of sudden she is gone and all I see is the computer generated neighbor.why? is this known problem? a glitch? anybody else have this problem? second question is I have had several people add me on fb, to specifically be a neighbor in the family Guy game and I dont see them on my invite list. How do I fix that? Now it just says i have invited too many people. is this just for in a 24 hour period or all together?

My understanding is you can only invite people who are not already playing the game and are on Facebook. So if you pulled names from this list you won’t be able to invite them that way. You’ll have to add them to your Facebook and then add them.
As far as max number. Right now the only thing I can see is 20 vists/day max. Not sure if that applies to neighbors/adding them as well or not. I’ll dig a little further and see what I can find 🙂

Getting rumors of glitch issues. I think it could be server overload. Give them a lil time to catch up and work out the bugs. We will run into hiccups here and there as they get used to the amount of users and traffic they will see at any given hour. Just keep trying. 🙂

Was it deleted? Or just put into your inventory box? Click on the “Movement Menu”. Lower left side. Directional arrows up down left right.
Once you are in there you will see a lil icon in the top left corner…and the bottom right corner.
Go to the bottom right corner and click on the lil icon that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it. This is your inventory. See if you see his house there. Let us know how it goes.
