Family Guy Addicts 
I’m playing this game on a kindle fire the app is not in the amazon store so I cannot update. Every time I open it I get error about some star trek building then it restarts. The only way I could update is how I got the game, download on my phone get the apk file put that on the kindle and manually install it. Does anyone know if this will reset the game or will it save my place.

Have you tried restarting your Kindle?
If your game is saved to an Email or Facebook link that you set up, then it is just a matter of logging back in.

So my blimp exploded… is that it? After all that work gathering plutonium and waiting to time travel, it explodes and is just gone? Any idea if it’s gone for good, or if there is (or will be) a way to get it back?

I joined the game at the end of the Egyptian event so I wasn’t able to get the Egyptian Bathhouse. Now I’m at the quest that requires it. Am I stuck here for good?

Whenever I click on lois or mort to start an action, a tv screen pops up, like its trying to load and wont disappear. I cant get them to complete any actions. All the other characters are working fine. Any ideas?

That is two different things. If you are on a Windows device, it is very likely you are on the Windows Version. Many players on Windows Version are having the issue of the TV on Characters. All I can suggest is to reach out to the Windows team. Email help.windows@tinyco.com to see if a fix is in place. Otherwise, there is not much further help we can offer. So sorry. 😦

If you have the dark clouds over the fine arts district, you need to hit the beach edge of it and it should open the district ready for you to clear the 3x blocks

Fine Arts is an inbetween for 9 & 10. Finish Fine Arts and then it will jump to 10. 😉

Thanks Bunny. Problem solved. Hadn’t installed latest update (usually, with other apps, when running the app, I get a notification that an update is needed). Anyway, checked app store and found an update was needed, so installed and all is fine with the world. Will now back-up game and take screenshot of full code. (Feeling a bit silly!)

Hi, when I installed the app I recall linking it to my Facebook account, but I don’t think I saved it or backed it up. I’ve had a look at some instructions and they mention a 32 char code – I have a 20 odd char code that seems to be split on both side of the screen (i.e. 16 chars on the bottom right and another 10 chars on the bottom left). I fear I’m going to have to start from scratch… 😦

Don’t stress it. If you do not have your Player ID, they said that the opening splash screen can help. So if you DO have that split ID from the opening on the ORIGINAL game, email it to them help@tinyco.com

Mine is working fine. How is your signal? Using WiFi or Data to load it? Memory on device have enough room? Any other apps or programs running on the device? Try to restart device and check app market to make sure you are on the most current version?

Same as above. If it is saved, you can try an uninstall/reinstall and LOAD your saved game.
If not, you need to reach out to TinyCo.

Hi, my problem was I hadn’t installed the latest StarTrek update. Go to app store and see if there is a new update to install. If so, do it and, hopefully, the problem will be solved. Good luck!

See if you can kick it into letting you in. Check your signal to make sure it is strong. Exit the game, restart your device, then go back and try again.
Try to exit the game, log out of the app market, restart device, log back into app market, then launch app again… see if that helps

If your game is saved to an email or facebook… it is just a matter of logging back into the game once you get the tutorial to pop up the menu again. 🙂

I was having issues with my game, and I had no choice but to delete I re downloaded it but I starts from the beginning and I can’t access the setting buttons because it’s on the tutorial, I can’t link it with Facebook but I’ve linked it with my Google play account I don’t want to lose my progress really bad, I’m on the entertainment district, have 16 skins and I’m level 31 I’ve been playing f or ever and have worked hard not to buy into the in app purchases. I can’t lose my progress, i haven’t checked going through the tutorial yet, also this happened to me previously when I had my phone reset after I got back in Google play automatically reinstalled my apps including family guy, which at that point saved my progress I anybody can help me I be most grateful and be willing to help you if you have an issue.

I got the latest update, repaired the shuttle, got to the 2nd quest, then the game crashed. Now I get a Data Error message when I try to load the game. Any help?

I tried force stopping the app and restarting my Droid. Pretty much the basics. My data isn’t backed up, so I wanna try what I can to keep from giving my Quahog the boot.

I have done all quest lines through dust 8 and then some but it won’t let me unlock district 9 till I do quest what the deuce part 1 but I don’t have an option to do it, I just finished building the blimp

The blimp disappeared before you unlocked Olivia? If that’s the case, yes it’s a glitch. Contact TinyCo via the game and let them know what happened

This question isn’t about the game it is about the posts on this forum and how I see some them sometimes on my android phone. Ive sent pic so you can see an example. You are reading the site in Mobile. It will SQUISH it all on one stream. So… I usually go to my pop up device menu and switch from Mobile view to Desktop.

I have 0 blindfolds for the pinatas but the app won’t let me make Peter finish a task so I can have him back to do a 4 hr task to actually get blindfolds… Basically it’s making me clear out pinatas before I can have my characters back in order to get blindfolds.. Wtf?

Characters like Joe and Seamus won’t load their actions when I click on them; they just come up with the shaking TV and don’t do anything…how can I fix this so I can move on with the game?

Hmmmmm that is a completely different beast than the mobile version. I get the TV box when ever I have a connection issue. Like the game isn’t syncing up. With Windows and only a few select Characters, something else is going on.

Seriously!?! I spend five days collecting plutonium and then when I activate the ship, I get absolutely nothing. That is a seriously bad glitch!!

Not a glitch. You’re not done. Each blimp trip comes with 3 or 4 Parts. Blimp trip is just one part. You just need to complete the dialog and you’ll get the items. 😉

Did you save it to an email or Facebook so your progress is stored? If so, it is just a matter of logging back in and loading that saved game.

I would like to purchase Consuela for her telenovela promotion through google play service but everytime when I try to use my debit card it always have error that says invalid credit card number.
I did replace my new debit card and I have sufficient amount so I asked Tinyco twice but they still havn’t reply to me.
I hope maybe some of you members could advice me as I really like to buy Consuela while I still can.

It’s hard for an outside person to know why your card isn’t valid. It’s usually something on your end and something only you would know or have access to. Not a 3rd party. Whether you changed billing address or log in ID or other settings. It’s something you will have to look into on your end or even via the app market you’re going through. I would double check all your Google info to make sure everything matches up and is accurate. I’d also check with the bank your card is through for same. Making sure everything matches up.

I only found out today that my bank does not provide online shopping services through debit card even though for the past few years they had been telling me consistently that it existed.
I guess I can’t get Consuela for the foreseeable future but that’s the downside on living in a third-world country.

Do you have PayPal Vincent? With PayPal you can link your bank account. Paypal offers a debit card. You can either transfer money directly from your bank account into PayPal and use you pp debit card or if you don’t have any money in your paypal account and you have your bank account linked to paypal, when you make a purchase using the debit card, paypal will take it out directly from your bank account. I hope that helps you.

Was wondering what the drop rate was for pinatas? I only seem to be getting a few per day, with lots of blindfolds stored up… I’ve asked TC via the in game question, and have yet to receive a response… was wondering if you guys knew anything? Any help would be appreciated… thanks again! 🙂

They never release drop rates to the public. Been that way since game launched. Sorry. We can only go off what we see in our games. Like for me… they very. This morning I got 4/5 drops on pinatas. Earlier I think I got 2/4.

My fiance reinstalled the game on his phone this morning, but it seems to be stuck on the tutorial. He can repair the Griffins house but that’s it. He can’t clear the checkmark, the dialogue just loops. The login button is there, but doesn’t do anything when you tap it. Any ideas?

hard close and restart, once he does that there should be an option to log on (bottom left main splash screen) he can then log in. If that’s not there try to play through until just after you get Chris. That should bring the menu/log in option back
If that still doesn’t work…try uninstalling and reinstalling again.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting the phone a few times, no luck. The problem is that it won’t let me get to Chris – I can repair the house, but then it just loops. “Get Better Reception” – “We need Chris, finish the construction” – the tap on Peter to put out the fire dialogue – lather, rinse, repeat. The menu button is there, but it doesn’t do anything when you tap on it, so as far as I can tell there’s no way to log in.

What device is it on? Try to ensure that it is completely wiped off the device. Go to the App Manager and clear all cache/data for the FGTQFS App. Once cleared, uninstall. Check to make sure it is not backed up anywhere on the cloud or anything. (As long as the account is linked to a Facebook or email, no worries on downloading the saved file). Once you are sure it is gone, restart the device. Then when back up, download a new clean version from your app market of the game. See if that helps at all.

It’s a Galaxy S5. He decided he was done playing and then changed his mind like 2 days later lol. I cleared the cache and data, uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled from the Play Store, still no luck
I’m not sure what else to do. I don’t even know if it’s something TinyCo can do anything about because it’s not account-related.

It just seems odd. It won’t let you continue the questline at all. Just loops between getting Chris unlocked and Peter putting out the fire. They might have an option. Just ask. Doesn’t hurt to do at least that.

Did you not save your game to a Facebook or email address to save your progress? If not, then your only option is to contact them. But I will tell you the main way to clear that error is to uninstall.

My facebook account on ios is for some reason saying its not linked to any save. All my progress and paid for stuff is history. How the hell do i get it back without possibly overwriting my save that may be in limbo somewhere? And yes i have messaged their support several times over the course of the week with zero response.

What happens when you sign out of Facebook, uninstall the app, then sign back into Facebook, then reinstall the app and go through process to get menu to sign in? (Mine gave me option of my Save and the new Guest Level 1 Game).

Just done that. It still states my account is not yet linked to any save. Options below are sill ‘new game’ or ‘link to this devices current save lvl1’ – which is what has to be done to get to the account switch in the menu. And it is 1.7.1 At a major loss here =/

I used the blimp 2 times and got the prizes. I was up to the Egyptian bath house and did not realize it was in my game for me to purchase and I had 13 plutonium and I sent the blimp and got nothing. I now have the bath house and finished the quests and now I am on part1 of the prehistoric quest. My question is will I get the triceratops since I went on the third blimp trip or did I loose those 13 plutonium? I wish I had read your post first!! I will now!! You need to finish ALL parts of each Questline to get items. Each trip has 3 or 4 Parts to the dialog including blimp trip. So make sure you finish them. 😉

any idea why section 10 has not opened for me , i have finished mayor west tom tucker and the blimp i have already started into the arts district but the brewery is still locked

It seems with new Olivia stuff… it’s considered an extension of District 9 and may need to be completed to jump to 10.

There is a complete dialog set with each trip you need to complete. Once blimp is back, finish the rest of dialog to get item.

Did you try the other link to sign back in to your account? It will pop up the option to “LOAD SAVED GAME” and will show your game info Level.

WTH BUNNY?!? I opened your string and followed the instructions to force stop, clear data then uninstall. When I restarted my phone and reinstalled the game it is at the very start of the entire game. I have countless hours and dollars spent on this game and it’s all gone?!?!
